"So we finally got Kane to play fire emblem we thought three houses would be a good start for him, easy to get into anyway, what do you think of Kane?" Curious, Haneul asks as the three sit either side of each other.

"Well surprised to hear you doing the intro Han." Kane remarks impressed.

"Oh sorry." Sighing, Haneul scratches her cheek feeling a heavy hue of ruby red across her crimson cheeks.

"Nah don't be it's sort of refreshing." Kane confesses smiling shyly at her.

"Heh…" Haneul smiles shyly, her crimson cheeks deepening darkening.

"So why did you chose three houses? I thought fates would have been it, it was the most recent." Kane asks curious.

"And the most shittest." Katsumi mutters under her breath.

"It wasn't that bad." Haneul sighs.

"Says the girl who played you are the ocean's grey waves for a whole month." Mischievously, Katsumi reminds her.

"It's a good song." Scowling, Haneul huffs defensively.

"You think the birthright one is better than Nohr?" Stunned, Katsumi blinks baffled.

"Of course. Nohr's too fast paced." Haneul sighs.

"Shigure is good though." Katsumi offers.

"Yeah the singer is really good what's his name?" Haneul ponders out loud.

"No clue." Katsumi answers.

"Still Kat you can't talk." Haneul smirks at her.

"Why not?" Katsumi arches a brow bemused.

"Remember river in a dry land?" Haneul points out.

"That is a solid song." Katsumi argues.

"She's not wrong. Anyway which house did you guys choose?" Kane changes the topic.

"Oh blue lions." Happily, Haneul answers.

"Yeah you seemed like a Dimitri person." Katsumi remarks.

"Dimitri is just sweet." Haneul smiles shyly.

"Well I guess though the noodle hair is weird." Kane leans back against his seat.

"N-Noodle?" Horrified, Haneul gawks at the description.

"Who did you choose Bombarda?" Kane asks her.

"Golden deer." She shrugs surprising the two.

"You went for Claude's route?" Haneul says surprised.

"Why are you surprised? The Golden Deer were funny besides fear the deer." Katsumi smirks.

"I thought you'd do for black eagles." Honestly, Haneul exclaims.

"I was tempted to but I got spoiled and I wanted to get to know the characters beofre going through that bloodbath plus Claude is the best character he and Mallory are just hilarious." Katsumi smirks.

"Don't suppose they remind you of a certain pair of people?" Perkily, Kane wiggles a brow.

"…I guess you tow when you bicker." Katsumi offers unsure as the two gawk, a heavy hue fo ruby red upon their crimson cheeks.

"T-That…doesn't Claude remind you of someone?" Shyly, Haneul argues, a heavy ruby red crosses her cheeks stutters, stammering it.

"…Not really no." Katsumi deadpans.

"…You know what forget it I chose Edelgard." Kane answers.

"You did?" Both girls arch a brow by the news.

"Someone about her spoke to me plus her fear of rats is both adorable but also sad." Smirking, Kane reveals.

"You also probably liked her due to how needy she was towards you." Dubiously, Katsumi remarks smirking slightly, a glint gleaming in her ruby reds.

"What's that meant to mean?" Mystifed, Haneul huffs, a heavy ruby red upon her crimson cheeks.

"Kane we both know you have always been the pursuer never the pursee." Pointedly, Katsumi deadpans.

""…I…I hate you guys." Kane grumbles bowing his head.

"I'm surprised you managed to unlock it." Impressed, Haneul says.

"I was romanticising Edelgard so I gave her each and every gift I had then next thing I know as I'm scrolling through text she becomes a emperor." Kane recalls.

"Yeeeahh…" Haneul trail off earning a look from Katsumi.

"Why did you trail off?" Lost, Kane ponders out loud.

"I…may not have played it yet." Haneul scratches her cheek.

"Why not?" Kane furrows his brow befuddled.

"I don't want to kill the blue lions!" Haneul confesses.

"But you can recruit them." Katsumi argues.

"But not Dimitri and Dedue I can't kill those two." Firmly, Haneul states.

"What about you?" Kane turns to Katsuki.

"Oh I played it, was a bit disappointed with how abrupt it was." Katsumi confesses.

"Yeah I noticed that too when comparing it to the other routes so who did you two romance?" Kazz asks.

"Dimitri." Haneul answers.

"Really? Noodle boy?" Kane grumbles glaring to the side.

"Best boi besides it felt like I sort of had to with the bond between Dimitri and Byleth." Lovingly, Haneul happily exclaims.

"What about you?" Kane turns to Katsumi.

"Oh Yuri." Casually she shrugs.

"Not Claude?" Kane exclaims.

"Nah had him ad Mallory hooked up couldn't really say no to that pairing." Katsumi confesses.

"So…Claude and Yuri are quite similar are they not?" Teasingly, Kane wiggles a brow.

"I guess?" Katsumi's ruby reds narrow noting the twinkle in his eye.

"Kane just give up you're not going to get it through to her." Haneul sighs.

"Through to what?" Katsumi blinks baffled by her sidekicks.

"To who you chose as your dance of course." Tiredly, Kane sighs giving in disappointed almost perplexing Katsumi.

"Oh…Hilda she's broken I swear." Katsumi exclaims.

"Dorothea is pretty good though to be fair." Kane joins in.

"I guess I remember when I played around with the magic sword class that was not fun." Frowning, Haneul tells the two.

"I thought it was cool until Felix kept dying." Kane grumbles.

"You had Felix become one?" Haneul raises a brow.

"Yeah he was okay but maybe assassin class would be better next time." Kane considers.

"Maybe…" Katsumi considers nodding her head as the podcast concludes and Katsumi leaves, heading home…

Quietly, Katsumi makes her way home, stretching. She furrows her brow by the empty interior of her home, her brow furrowing from the silence of the room, feeling her muscles tense up. She scowls at the sight what was going on? Katsumi pondered, she could feel something was wrong but what? She furrows her brow at the thought before plopping herself down on the sofa scowling at the empty sensation gnawing away at her that is until perking up at the violent vibration of her phone.

YOU SENT ME TO THE WRONG DAMN AGENCY! Angrily, the text bubble bounteously pops up.

What do you mean? Katsumi types in lost only then to falter from the picture sent.

"Oh my god." Katsumi snickers at her brother's haircut.

LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID. Angrily, another bubble pops up.

I'M KEEPING THIS Katsumi smirks swiftly saving it.

WAIT NO FUCK! DELETE Katsuki attempts to but the deed is done.

CAN'T DELETE WHAT'S BEEN POSTED boastfully, she smirks at her baby brother's dilemma.

YOU FUCKING- The bubble begins only then for Katsumi to furrow her brow, taken out of the conversation by the faint discomfort below. Her hand slides down between the gaps of the sofa, pinching something. She picks up the feeble feather of ruby red, her hues softening sadly at the feeble feather before looking to the side scowling at the faint figure of ruby red flying in the sky.

Scowling, she seethes, rushing towards the window where her hues narrow, glaring into a pair of gold before swiftly slamming the curtain shut turning her back to the window and leaving, heading to bed, ignoring the pain throbbing in her chest as she struggles to descend down into the dark depths of her head...

"That's the second guy this week…" Kane clicks his tongue furrowing his brow by the sheer sight of the body below, snarls screams out of the bloodied bandaged body, hearing the low beeps of the heart monitor Kane still couldn't believe I, one moment they were fighting the next he started screaming and knives just bursts out of him, geysers of ruby red spew out of him acting as if he were one of those foundations you'd find at a park. He didn't know what to make of it, these extreme situations, what was going on….?

"Kane…" Katsumi sighs sadly seeing said male with a familiar stitch in his mouth, the cancer stick sticking out of his mouth, a shy stream of smoke emitting out of it. he had promised himself he'd quit but it was obvious the stress was getting to him Haneul and Katsumi both knew this was not good.

"That bird guy…" Kane seethes scowling down at the ground tossing the stick to the ground.

"Hm?" Haneul hums turning to see him swiftly snuff the cancer stick out with the flat of his foot.

"That quirk of his shouldn't have made him that big of a bird just as this guy's quirk shouldn't have lost control as it did." Kane remarks swiftly shoving his hands into his leather jacket.

"What are you saying Kane?" Confused, Haneul furrows her brow at him.

"Trigger." Kane snaps sharply making Katsumi flinch from the drug.

"Kane don't." Warningly, Kane snaps sharply at him, trigger was not their main focus this was Fatgum's they didn't have the pros needed for it which is what Katsumi was planning on doing, asking for his consultation on the matter. They couldn't act rash…not now.

"There's a trigger hideout here and Ryoma's running the fucking joint! We got to take it out!" Kane snaps sharply at the two, seething making the two sigh it wasn't their jurisdiction. They didn't know enough on drug trafficking for all they knew it could be a trick they had hoped the three would fall for, they didn't know drug lord techniques or schemes.

"Kane." Katsumi gives him a warning look.

"Oh come on he was always a creep." Coldly, Kane huffs.

"You never spoke to him." Katsumi reminds him honestly.

"Are you defending him?" Stunned, Kane turns to gawk at her.

"Kane don't just don't." Drained, Katsumi sighs pinching the bridge of her nose.

"So this Ryoma you know him?" Haneul queries confused she never heard of him.

"Yeah…you could say that. Still never thought I'd hear that bastard's name again." Angrily, Kane huffs taking out another cigarette.

"Kane." Katsumi steps in brow furrowed at the pack.

"I'm sorry but who has such strange creatures as pets and aren't evil?" Enraged, Kane snaps sharply making Haneul's hues narrow.

"A number of people." Pointedly, Haneul huffs oddly defensively furrowing her brow at Kane.

"You're always defending him I get why you're doing it Boss but it wasn't your fault." Firmly, Kane reminds her tapping his cigarette against the rest of the pack.

"Not now Kane let's just focus on the task at hand. From the footage…" Frowning, Katsumi begins but soon falters from…

"Hey there." A familiar voice calls out cutting Katsumi off.

"Oh you got to be kidding me." Mad, Kane huffs swiftly storming off.

"Kane!" Haneul sighs sadly at Kane going off in a strop just as Katsumi notes the exhausted Tokoyami.

"Tokoyami how are…" Katsumi begins but the bright broad flaring feathers of ruby red swiftly cut her off.

"Why don't you go get some coffee for us kiddo?" Hawks pats Tokoyami's shoulder who simply sighs as he brushes past the two about to get the item his mentor so desired only then to falter, furrowing his brow by the shadowy figure watching on a pair of coal crisp charcoal humming ruby red alarming him. Was that…he looked just like the guy in the picture the others from the agency gave out to the others to keep watch out on…If Tokoyami got hold of him perhaps…perhaps he could finally prove to Hawks. He was worth his time, he wasn't just some carrier pigeon. Determined, Tokoyami follows after the shadowy figure following him into the warehouse.

"Come out villain!" Tokoyami roars, gritting out clearly disturbed as he could feel the shadow coiled around him only tighten, tighten similar to a slithering snake wrapping around him slowly strangling him almost as he stagers back briefly grimacing.

"I saw you at the sports festival that quirk of yours…let's see it's full potential." Poisonously, Ryoma remarks as Tokoyami's ruby reds widen when seeing such feral fangs, demonic dragon like teeth gleaming glistening even in the pitch black. The last thing Tokoyami knew he felt a sharp stab to his arm beofre crying out in anguish as his sharp screech is soon coldly consumed by shadows as all he sees is pitch black…

"Coffee really Hawks? He isn't your coffee boy Hawks!" Huffing, Katsumi scowls at Hawks noting the faint outline of a bag underneath his glistening gold if he saw that she knew he'd freak…

"Are we still on about this?" Tiredly, Hawks furrows his brow exhaustion etched into his fatigued facial features.

"Yes. Yes we are. He is a child." Curtly, she reminds him making him roll his eyes.

"He wants to be a hero and I'm just showing him how the real world works." Coldly, he snaps sharply taking Katsumi aback.

"You're bloody ridiculous!" Katsumi huffs waving him off.

"…You haven't slept." Sternly, he tells her making her scoff as if he could talk…

"Excuse you?" She raises a brow.

"You look tired. Did you miss me?" Mischievously, he smiles strained trying to lighten the mood despite her own furrowed features.

"Miss you?" Scowling, she glares at him.

"You do realize I wasn't at the nest last night?" Hawks reminds her.

"Oh so that's why it was so peaceful." Pointedly, she snaps scowling.

"Can't you just admit you missed me?" Hawks sighs at her.

"I really didn't." Deadpanned, she answers.

"…" Silently, gold glare into ruby red.

"Hawks I am a grown adult and besides even if you had you would have slept on the sofa." Snippily, she crosses her arms over her chest cross.

"…You really didn't miss me?" Meekly, he whispers making her grimace at the sharp sting to her chest.

"Hawks…are you really trying to bring our personal life into this?" Tiredly, Katsumi pinches the bridge of her nose exhausted she knew how clingy he was but this was just…

"I just need information Kat why can't you understand that? It's my job just as it is yours. I get you want to protect your brother keep him safe and all that but there is a limit. You can't protect him from everything Kat" Hurt, Hawks whispers, his tone tentative, clearly concerned clearly tired, clearly pained making her turn her head away, anguished.

"Hawks…" Katsumi beings brow furrowed as she tries to talk tries to get him to understand tries to…

"GWAHHHH!" Surprised, both of them jolt up at the sharp screech bellowing throughout the streets.

"The hell!?" Hawks blurts out as both Bombarda and him share a look, he offers his hand to her which she slides in as he picks her up bridal style setting off towards the noise where both pros gawk gape at the sight of the monstrous beast beofre them that was…dark shadow.

"Is it…Tokoyami?" Taken aback, Hawks stares stunned at the ruined remains of the warehouse, the roof having been battered tossed aside by the roaring beast below them, its libs of pitch black aimed at the two as Hawks holds Katsumi bridal style narrowly avoiding said strikes from the crisp coal claws of pitch black.

"I'd say that was dark shadow too." Tiredly, Katsumi huffs furrowing her brow by the ruby red eyes of the creature surprised to see said one coy cute creature now snarling, screeching, screaming to the high heavens.

"What the hell!? It's daylight." Hawks argues as the sunlight seemingly doesn't do as much as the two had hoped. The two descend down upon the ground outside the wrecked warehouse.

"Don't tell me…Hawks get Haneul!" Sternly, Katsumi tells him.

"What about you?" Hawks questions concern clear on his furrowed features.

"Remember at the festival? He doesn't do well with light." She reminds him showing her arm as mini explosions shoot out of her palm.

"Are you crazy? Look at what the sunlight's doing. How are your explosions going to change that!?" Hawks demands from her.

"Just let me do my bloody job!" Angrily, Katsumi snaps at him.

"But…Just be careful." Hawks begins but sighs when seeing her sharp scowl as he backs away his features gently, worry clear as he requests that from her.

"Course." She nods her head watching him take off. She heads straight into the heart of the warehouse blasting back the debris thrown her way.

"Arghh!" Loudly the beast bellows but Katsumi ignores her ears ringing as she continues on ahead.

"Sorry Tokoyami." She screams as explosions emit from both of her hands as she dives into the heart of the shadowy storm, grasping hold of the nearest solid she could, slamming her eyes shut as next she knew, she was holding the boy laying limp in her hands heaving, sweat sliding down his tense figure.

"…No I should be thanking you." Hoarsely, he whispers ashamed almost.

"Tokoyami…" Tentatively, she whispers brow furrowing concern clear on her face understanding his pain well far too well.

"I'm sorry I…he got the best of urgh!" Tokoyami grunts alarming Katsumi.

"Tokoyami hey!" Katsumi calls out her hues dilating when noting the ruby red stain in his arm.

"Backup's arrived hey Tokoyami are you?" Happily, Hawks rushes in relieved to see the two safe and sound or so he thought.

"Get a medic now." Sternly, he coldly commands him.

"What?" Hawk furrows his brow his features faltering from her cold curt command as her grip only tightens on the boy below her providing pressure for his wound.

"NOW!" Sharply, Katsumi yells at Hawks taken aback but he turns on his heels rushing to get the medical attention needed while she applies the pressure needed cursing at the scarlet stream staining his coal crisp cloak. She looks up, her ruby reds narrowing into a familiar pair of pitch black beofre turning his back to her as she grits her teeth together focusing on the task at hand, keeping the baby bird in her arms alive…

The stench of bleach wafts heavily in the air as Katsumi leans against the snow-white walls of the hospital, staring stoically at the tiled flooring below watching Kazz's every move when it came to tending to the bird before the two. She spots Hawks pacing back and forth his feathers fidgeting, clearly stressed out. She sighs bowing her head. She unfurls er once crossed arms as she reaches out to Hawks, her hand entwined with his ceasing his pacing as he turns, his glistening gold gazing into her stoic scarlet.

"Is…is he going to be okay?" Gently, Hawks whispers worriedly.

"Kazz knows what he's doing Hawks." Honestly, Katsumi confesses tugging him forward, holding him as Hawks clings to her side, bowing his head, his hues glued glaring at the screen separating the two watching on as Kazz performs the finishing touches before leaving the room, turning to the two before him.

"He's going to be fine, the trigger will be out of his system soon enough. He's going to eb tired from the adrenaline but the drugs should help him with that." Truthfully, Kazz explains to the two watching worriedly.

"Can we go in?" Hopeful, Hawks asks.

"Sure." Kazz nods his head no doubt going to tend to the matter of the boy's parents as the two enter the room.

"Bombarda, Hawks I…I apologise." Tokoyami's ruby reds widen when seeing the two beofre him bowing his head immediately to them both.

"You're not serious are you?" Bombarda blinks baffled by his words.

"I am I am still far too immature I thought if I could take care of the man we were hunting if I could at the least reveal the drugs of trigger I had found then maybe…" Tokoyami bows his head to both of his superiors.

"Tokoyami." Tiredly, Katsumi sighs crossing her arms over her chest worriedly.

"Maybe you would take me seriously." Sighing, Tokoyami confesses sadly.

"…Seems I'm the one who messed up big time." Tiredly, Hawks sighs seating himself down upon the plump pillow of the mattress.

"Huh?" Tokoyami blurts out lost.

"You probably know the real reason why I hired you don't you?" Hawks says to Tokoyami flinching from it.

"I…" Tokoyami closes his eyes sadly.

"I shouldn't have offered you a chance to join my agency just to get some info without giving you something in return. That was wrong of me." Honestly, Hawks exclaims.

"Hawks…" Tokoyami begins brow furrowing.

"I guess I still got a lot more maturing to do as well. " Hawks looks up craning his neck slightly to look towards Katsumi blinking baffled by the look sent her way why the hell is he looking at her like that? Katsumi had no clue.

"What do you mean?" Mystifed, Tokoyami asks her.

"It means that the reason I let you join was to get info, info I was denied and no matter how much I pried I got nothing so I got impatient and thought I'd get it through my own means now look where that got me an innocent kid having been shot all cause of my curiosity. Guess you could say curiosity killed the bird." Bemused, Hawks smiles strained winking mischievously.

"Hawks…" Tokoyami begins brow furrowed.

"Look I didn't do right by you this time but think we could give it another shot a second time I got much more growing to do just as you do." Determined, Hawks tells Tokoyami.

"You…you'd be willing to bring me on after what I just did?" Taken aback, Tokoyami blinks baffled.

"Yeah. I want to see what else that shadow of yours can do." Intrigued, Hawks smirks slightly.

"I…I'd like that." Tokoyami bows his head eager to show Hawks what he is capable of to what he will soon grow to become…

"You sure you think he'll be okay?" Hawks asks brow furrowed crossing his arms over his chest conflicted concern clear on his furrowed features as they stand in the hallway, Tokoyami's parents coming here to pick him up. Katsumi remembered Hawk's apologies to them but they simply wated their son to be safe that was all that mattered to them. They weren't mad, they were understanding, they were kind, they were merciful Katsumi knew what would happen if she were in Tokoyami's position. Honestly, she felt bad for when Kazz had to come talk to her parents, talk to her mother over the news of her arm, she may not have been awake at the time but still…to have the nerve to tell her that news alone to have the nerve to be in the same room as her mother after the news had no doubt been broadcasted on TV or something, that took guts, guts no normal human being would have…

"He should be fine, trigger should be out of his system soon enough." Logically, Katsumi reminds Hawks. The two stand outside, Katsumi tending to her phone giving the all clear for Tokoyami to her friends in their group chat, furrowing her brow by Kane's response of a image of some bird holding a knife, Katsumi had o idea how that was possible either it was fake and the photoshop was really put together or just coincidence nevertheless the crow holding the bird with the caption of I love bitch underneath conveys his thoughts while Haneul of course makes a whole paragraph of letters. Honestly it impressed but also astonished Katsumi how easily Haneul could type so much in such a short amount of time with no errors, no grammars, no nothing, punctuation and all. Hell, she remembered Kane introducing the concept of lol to Haneul and her response being to instead of typing out would be to write laugh out loud. A small smirk crosses Katsumi's lips at the small memory of back then of U.A of when the three had begun that friendship of theirs.

"Can't believe that drug den was right under our noses." She jolts up from her thoughts from Hawk's voice turning to him, shoving her phone into her pocket as she turns to see his furrowed features.

"We can't always know where they're hiding besides most of those were decoys." Sighing, she sighs stating the fact firmly, she was no durg expert even if she was mentored under someone who focused on rescue and drug trafficking or trafficking of the sort, she never really learnt that bit from him it was mainly how to compose herself, how to have the right head for a fight, Fatgum took more from him than she did.

"You think so?" Hawks raises a brow at her.

"The two that I had defeated earlier were workers at the port no doubt they had a hand in selling trigger abroad." Tiredly, Katsumi places her hand on her shoulder rolling it a bit squeezing said shoulder. She cranes her neck from side to side hearing the crisp crunch of bone exhaustion etched into her tired tone. She had only two suspects one arrested the other in a coma, both of them having quirk outbursts she knew it wasn't enough evidence to do anything. Third time was always the charm if she had suddenly decided to conduct a proper investigation. She would have to call a lot of people from different sections of Japan for it, different sections that needed their heroes more than they did here. It was a risky move to make until she had filed the proper evidence she couldn't make such a call…

"You think they got them then?" Disappointed, Hawks huffs saddened at the thought.

"Nah I contacted Selkie. He should be handling it as we speak." Smirking, Katsumi remarks, just because she couldn't pull a proper one doesn't mean she couldn't have Soundspark talk to Selkie to keep an eye out for any activity exporting stuff, she still wasn't the best when it came to drug trafficking but she did learn some bits from Fatgum. She was no master like her mentor nor Fatgum but she still could spot certain patterns drug lords took.

"…Right." Hawks turs to glance to the side.

"…You okay?" Awkwardly, Katsumi asks brow furrowed tensing up not quite sure what to sya to the blonde by her sigh.

"I…Now I sort of feel bad intervening like that." Tensely, Hawks confesses to her.

"You weren't to know." Katsumi reminds him, she hadn't spoken a word about this to him then again the tip off from Fatgum was just a day ago or so…

"Still…I'm sorry." Hawks bows his head.

"Hm?" Katsumi blinks baffled by the apology sent her way.

"What you said about…before. Is there…still room in the nest tonight?" Tensely, Hawks asks smiling sheepishly strained, anxiously scratching the back of his neck seeing beads of sweat slither down his tense temple bringing a small smile to her lips.

"They always had been dumbass." Endearingly, Katsumi smirks, she places her hand on top of Hawk's head his hues widening when feeling the faint ruffle of his blonde roots leaning into it.

"Besides I guess I owe you an apology too." Truthfully, she sighs slipping her hand off his head.

"Hm?" Hawks perks up at her words seeing her ruby reds glare to the side.

"What you said about me being overprotective of Bakugou you…may have been on to something." Sighing, she grimaces closing her eyes at the thought.

"Yeah but you had a valid reason I mean with the USJ and Sludge incident." Hawks insists brow furrowing.

"Look I'm not mad that you asked someone else the reason I was mad was because my brother had been through enough with the sludge incident and with the USJ to add I just…" Katsumi sighs sadly at him.

"I get it I do. So…we good?" Hopeful, Hawks asks offering his hand out to her.

"We're good." Katsumi smiles softly at him taking his hand in hers.

"Wait what's that…?" Hawks furrows his brow looking up at the TV screen.

"You're kidding me…" Stunned, Hawks and Bombarda whisper staring shocked at the TV showing the attack on Hosu City of the nomu's and of the Hero Killer's defeat…
