"I find this kind of amusing." Said the deep voice of Kurama.
"I bet the hell you do. Now tell me, what the hell am I supposed to do?" Asked Madara.
"I'm the greatest demon of all time. Not a damn shrink." Muttered Kurama.
Madara glared daggers at the massive fox as her Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan activated. Suddenly, the fox began yelling as his fur was changed from orange to pink.
"Woman! How dare you bring dishonor to the legendary Kyuubi No Kitsune! I will have your head for this!" Roared Kurama.
"Guys, what's going on? It's kinda early for all this yelling." Naruto said as he rubbed his tired eyes and let out a massive yawn.
"Whoa! Kurama, what happened to you?" Asked Naruto.
"Your girlfriend thought it was funny. You know, Gaki. Madara was touched that you considered her your only friend." Kurama said.
"Kurama!!!" Roared Madara as a massive wooden barrier subdued the fox.
"Now, now, my dear Madara. Let's not do something we'll regret." Kurama said as the fear took over his body.
"No worries, I rather ask for forgiveness than permission." The Uchiha woman said as she walked over to him.
"Mara, that's enough. I think you scarred pops enough." Naruto said.
Suddenly, Madara fell over as she let out a burst of laughter. "That's rich, I have never heard anything like that before!" Madara called out.
"Yeah, yeah. Let me go and TURN MY FUR BACK TO THE COLOR ORANGE! I'M NOT SOME FAIRY!" Shouted Kurama.
Madara did as she was asked. "Come on, Naruto. Let's leave pops to get his beauty sleep." Madara said to the blond.
Naruto waved at Kurama. "See you!" Naruto called out as both he and Madara returned to the compound.
"Okay, I've got to go. I'll see you later Mara!" Naruto said as he vanished in a yellow flash.
Mission Hall
Sasuke and Sakura were silently waiting in annoyance for their sensei and Naruto. They were beginning to believe Naruto's statement about the sensei was accurate.
However, a yellow flash appeared as Naruto and Kakashi stood before the Hokage. "I told you, a black cat crossed my path." Said Kakashi.
"I know. I was on my way here until the path of light brought me to you." Naruto shot back.
"That was quiet clever, Naruto. Now, normally your team would be taking D rank missions to begin with. However, I've decided to experiment. Kakashi will be leading the mission. It will be a bandit elimination mission." Hiruzen said.
"Bandit elimination?" Asked Sasuke.
"That's right, Sasuke. Your objective will be to clear out a nearby camp of bandits. Bandits are low level thugs that are most likely failed genins." Hiruzen said.
"Yes, Lord Hokage. We will complete the mission. Okay, go ahead and pack for a week." Kakashi ordered as he vanished in a shunshin.
Namikaze Compound
Madara was currently in the back yard watering plants. Naruto introduced her to the wonders of nature and thus, she found it relaxing.
"Mara! I'm here!" Shouted the blond.
"Out back!" Madara called back as she was pouring the container of water over the plants.
Naruto flashed out back. "I was just letting you know that I'm going to be gone for about a week." Naruto said.
"What kind of mission?" The raven haired woman asked.
"C rank bandit elimination." Naruto said.
"Really? That used to be a warm up for a training session. But I guess that's to be expected with how soft these shinobi have become." Madara said.
"I hope we encounter someone strong. I could really use a nice fight." Naruto said.
"Alright. Well, be careful." Madara said. This made the blond raise an eyebrow as he reminded Madara that she had never told him that before. "Shut up! Just go!" Madara yelled as she was blushing.
"Sounds like your vixen is starting to come around." Said Kurama with a chuckle.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Naruto asked as he was walking towards the village gate.
"Are you that blind? Clearly she desires you." Kurama said.
"What do you mean? That's Mara! She is a strong and a powerful shinobi! Plus, she is my sensei." Naruto said.
"Haha. You truly are an idiot." Kurama said.
"Whatever." Naruto said as he vanished by use of the Hiraishin and appeared at the village gate where Sasuke and Sakura were currently waiting.
"Hmph, why are you here so late, loser?" Asked Sasuke with his smug attitude.
"When is Kakashi ever on time?" Asked Naruto.
"You shouldn't even talk about sensei like that." Sakura said though her inner Sakura was saying otherwise.
"Hey, guys. Are you ready for the mission?" Asked Kakashi as he appeared.
"You're late!" Sakura shouted while Sasuke and Naruto remained silent.
"Sorry, a lady was having trouble and so I took her trash out. Anyway, come on." Kakashi said lazily as the team left through the village gates.
While jumping through the trees, Naruto noticed that Sasuke kept shooting him angry glances. "Uchiha, why do you keep looking at me?" Naruto asked with annoyance in his tone.
"I just can't believe a loser like you is actually a ninja." Sasuke said in a smug tone.
"Yeah! Sasuke is the best ninja ever! You clearly pulled a dirty trick on sensei!" Sakura pointed out.
"Kakashi, what is the plan?" Naruto asked as he ignored his teammates comments.
"It's a simple bandit raid. We go in, secure any hostages, and eliminate the targets." The silver haired jonin said.
"Um, Kakashi sensei. What do you mean by elimination?" Asked Sakura nervously.
Kakashi sighed. "As a ninja, there will be times that you need to kill. All genin teams are given a bandit elimination mission to help them cope with their first kill. Better do it with bandits than a real ninja." The copycat ninja said as he was looking at his book.
"Kakashi, what are the chances of us encountering a ninja?" Asked Sasuke.
"It's Kakashi sensei. But I'd say not likely. Though, as a shinobi, we are taught to expect the unexpected." Kakashi said.
"Wait, why does Naruto call you by name but we have to call you sensei?" Sakura asked.
"I have my own sensei." Naruto muttered.
Team seven stopped in a small clearing. Kakashi explained they were going to do a little bit of training and rest. Naruto was ordered to get the food, Sasuke to set up camp, and Sakura would keep guard.
"What the hell is that?" Sakura shouted as she fell backwards while pointing at Naruto.
Naruto raised an eyebrow. "It's a fucking bear. What the fuck else could it be." Naruto shot back while narrowing his eyes at his teammates stupidity.
"Now, now. You guys relax. Naruto, where did you find that bear?" Asked Kakashi.
"It was sleeping and so I quickly took it done." The blond said.
"Yeah right. The bear was probably already dead when you grabbed." Sasuke said.
"Yeah! You are such a liar, Naruto!" Shouted Sakura.
"Then cook it yourself. Kakashi, I'm going to go train." Naruto said.
Kakashi gazed at his student before letting out a sigh. "Alright, be back here in three hours. That's when we'll call it a night and you can take first watch." Kakashi said.
Naruto threw a kunai and vanished in a yellow flash. "Kakashi sensei, what is that jutsu that Naruto does?" Sasuke asked.
"It's called the Hiraishin. A powerful time space jutsu that was developed by the fourth Hokage. Well, Lord Second created it but lord fourth perfected it." Kakashi said.
"Why does the loser get to know the jutsu? I'm an Uchiha." Sasuke declared.
"That's right, Kakashi sensei! Make Naruto teach Sasuke the jutsu!" Sakura roared.
"Sasuke, that jutsu isn't a normal jutsu. In fact, Naruto is the third person to ever learn it. You need to be mastered in the art of Fuinjutsu. Not to mention, your body needs to handle it. Finally, you need to be kin to be taught it." Kakashi said.
"What do you mean? Naruto is related to the first and second Hokage?" Asked Sasuke.
"Yes. I will not say anything else about it." Kakashi said sternly.
"Whatever, when I awaken my Sharingan, I'll just copy it." Sasuke said with a smirk.
"Sasuke, do you know why the jutsu was created?" Asked the masked ninja. Sasuke shook his head. "During the Uchiha and Senju war, Lord second needed a way to counter the Uchiha and their Sharingan. The Hiraishin cannot be countered by the Sharingan." Kakashi said.
"Now, time to begin your training. I want the two of you to climb a tree." Kakashi said.
"Huh? What for?" Asked Sakura.
"It will help you gain better control of your chakra. Plus, tree climbing is an actual skill that's used by nearly every shinobi." The silver haired jonin pointed out.
"Then why doesn't Naruto have to do it?" Sakura asked.
"Naruto already learned this. Now, watch me. You will need to apply chakra to your feet and keep it at a constant level. Sakura, you will get the hang of this easier. I want you to keep practicing because it will help you build your chakra reserves." Kakashi said as he pulled out his orange book.
With Naruto
"So, brat. What's your plan now?" Asked Kurama
"I'm going to develop a new variant of the Hiraishin No Jutsu." Naruto said.
"Do you think an idiot such as yourself can modify such an advanced and complex jutsu?" Asked the fox.
"It's more of a different way to use the jutsu. When someone is marked, you can appear no further than five meters. What if I mark the ground?" Naruto asked.
"You lost me." Kurama muttered.
"Okay, look it like this. Say I mark the ground and Kakashi is within five meters of the mark. I can simply warp behind him and either strike his blind spot or place a mark." Naruto pointed out.
"That's not a bad ideal." Kurama said.
"I'll call it, Hiraishin No Jutsu - Flash Step." Naruto said as he created a shadow clone and began practicing his new theory.
Three hours passed and Naruto returned to the camp site. Kakashi noticed the hidden look of excitement on the blond's face.
"Alright, Naruto. We will be resting for eight hours. Sasuke is next, then Sakura, and then me." Kakashi said.
"Okay. That's fine." Naruto said as he created multiple shadow clones. "You have your orders." Naruto said as the shadow clones each threw a kunai and vanished in a yellow flash.
"Um, Naruto? What was the purpose behind that?" Kakashi asked.
"If my clone dispels, I receive the memories. Plus, if they see something, they will dispel on their own. This way, I have a full army of ninja that are watching our backs." The blond explained.
"I see. That's pretty clever. Alright, I'll see you in the morning." Kakashi said lazily.
"Cyclops is an interesting mortal." Said Kurama.
"What do you mean?" Naruto asked mentally as he raised an eyebrow.
"He seems to genuinely care about you." Kurama declared.
"Yeah, right. He probably feels bad now that he knows that I'm his former sensei's son." Naruto pointed out.
"I wouldn't be so haste. His feelings are sincere and he truly regrets not being there for you." Kurama said.
"Actions speak louder than words. He can feel however he wants. Until he shows me that he truly is sorry, then I will forgive him. But he may just be doing this to get close to Madara." Naruto muttered.
"Who knows, he may become Madara's mate." Kurama says with a chuckle until he feels a massive killing intent.
"No he won't!" Naruto mentally roared.
"Sounds like you've put a claim on her." Kurama said.
"So what? It isn't like anyone would ever understand her." Naruto said as he was justifying his feelings.
"You don't need to convince me. It's only natural for someone to feel threatened over the idea of their mate being claimed by someone else. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if your vixen shared the same feelings as you do, just not on this level." Kurama said.
"I don't know... She is my sensei. Wouldn't it be wrong?" Naruto asked.
"Who cares? Mothers have been with their sons, fathers have been with there daughter, sisters have been with their brothers. I doubt you having feelings for Madara is all that strange. Plus, she is the first person to truly accept you for you. It's natural to feel this way." Kurama told his Jinchuriki.
"I guess you have a point. Well, alright. I'll talk to you later." Naruto said as he was leaning back and gazing up at the stares with a soft smile. His mind became focused on one particular raven haired woman and these thoughts wouldn't leave until he was back in the same village as she was.
