Quietly, Katsumi sits upon her desk, the bags hanging heavily underneath her shimmering scarlet scowling down at the paper below, a registered order to change route, handing a certain route over to Hawks agency. It seemed to have been approved by him despite it coming from the commission. Still she should tend to this, she'll have Haneul send an email to the others make an announcement about a change in route. This wasn't really new, she knew this had happened monthly, or well yearly she never really asked but still…she had thought Hawks would talk to her about this.
"So…" Surprised, she flinches from the sudden desk slam upon her desk turning to look up at the furrowed frown of Kane.
"So?" Katsumi's ruby reds narrow at him arching a brow.
"I think Han has a thing for Hawks." Honestly, Kane confesses.
"…" Ruby red stare into stern sapphire.
"You serious?" Stunned, she blinks baffled breaking the still silence between both of them.
"Yep. She said to me she likes a guy who makes her laugh." Pointedly, he prods at her desk.
"And…?" She quirks her head to the side.
"Well a fair few times Hawks has come here to deliver your lunch and I always see them laugh." Kane reveals making Katsumi sigh. Another still silence smoothly hangs heavily in the air as she sets aside her peers, turning her focus solely on the boy before her.
"…And how does that make you feel?" Frowning, she leans over her desk slightly scowling at him.
"Eh?" Kane blurts out.
"How does it make you feel?" Firmly, she demands from him.
"Why are you asking?" Annoyed, he crosses his arms over his chest cross.
"Well why are you telling me this in the first place?" Patiently, she asks him.
"Well…aren't you uh…?" Lazily, Kane gestures moving his hands up all over the place.
"Kane…let me ask you this, why I should care?" Tiredly, she pinches the bridge of her nose exasperation etched into her furrowed features.
"Well…aren't you guys…?" Kane gestures once more making her hue twitch.
"Kane." Sternly, she snaps cutting him off.
"Hm?" He hums turning to her.
"You know me. You know how I am why would I want to be with someone?" Sternly, she demands from him.
"You…you're lonely." Meekly, Kane shrugs.
"I'm really not." Resolved, Katsumi deadpans.
"Come on Kat I know you, you've never been asked out before even in high school people were too scared to ask you out. Do you know the number of confession letters people paid me to give you?" Kae argues annoyed.
"You never gave me any letters." Confused, Katsumi's stern scarlet narrow at him.
"Exactly nor the chocolate." Coyly, he smirks smugly.
"Were you scheming behind my back?" Katsumi sighs.
"Me? Never. Anyway as I was saying you've always been on your guard is it so wrong to let loose a little? To be happy?" He asks her.
"Who says I'm not happy?" Defensive, Katsumi argues annoyed.
"That isn't what I mean boss." Kane whines slumping his shoulders.
"Then what do you mean? From what I'm inferring you think I need someone else to provide my own happiness for me." Mad, Katsumi glares at him.
"That isn't what I mean and you know it." Irritated, Kane barks back.
"Then let me ask you this, why do you think out of all the people I know would I go out with someone as fake as Hawks?" Haughtily, she demands from Kane.
"Uh…" Kane trails off.
"Why would I want to be with someone who is the hero commission's pet do you know how much trouble that would bring to me?" Mad, Katsumi stands up from her seat seething.
"Well…you can't help who you love boss." Kane whimpers weakly but to his surprise she doesn't bat him an eye.
"They say that but I think those with enough power can control their feelings and see the grand picture." Poisonously, she seethes her hues intense, taking Kane aback feeling his body tense up almost.
"Boss." Worriedly, Kane calls out.
"Hm?" Katsumi snaps out of her tense trance.
"Now that I think about it. Hawks hasn't been here in a while has he? I mean he normally drops by to give you food or to invite you out for a patrol or…" Kane begins brow furrowed, concern clear on his face but…
"He has his duties just as I have mine. I'm glad to see he's actually taking responsibility for once." Aloofly, she shrugs him off.
"…Did he knock some girl up?" Kane's hues narrow.
"…Kane." Katsumi snaps scowling warningly at him.
"What!?" Kane huffs raising his hands up in exasperation.
"Urgh look Hawks can do what he likes I don't control him nor does he have any control over me. We are both very different people with very different attitudes towards life." Tiredly, Katsumi sighs cradling her head too tired to deal with the boy before her.
"Opposites attract boss?" Bemused, he smiles shyly at her sharp scowl.
"Protons perhaps but people are very different Kane." Katsumi offers just as her phone goes off making her sigh turning to it only to scowl at the familiar unknown number ringing.
"Right…I'll just leave this here for you." Kane catches on furrowing his brow when noting her firm frown as he leaves her to it leaving her to her own devices.
How had Kirishima got here, he still had no clue, he still had no idea, he still had no fragment of a clue of what was going on. Nervously, Kirishima stares at the crime scene before him, feeling bullets of sweat slither slide down his tense temple as he stares at the villain being thrown into police custody seeing the heroes on standby some talking to one another while another almost seemingly performing for the crowd while others simply chat with the crowd forming around them, some taking photos, some recording, some asking questions to their heroes refusing to even acknowledge said crowd. They shouldn't be here, they weren't supposed to be here, they couldn't be here, Aizawa would kill them if he found out they were here, still Kirishima couldn't help but ponder how all this started as he stood by the unfazed Katsuki's side in their weekend clothes.
"You've found an agency for your work-study? Congratulations Deku! Man I wish someone would accept me but sir Forth Kind can't." Impressed, Kirishima beams brightly at Deku as the class of 1A lounge around the living room, ignoring the sharp slam of a certain door as Katsuki sits down, on his phone seemingly texting someone until…
"Kirishima." Katsuki calls out to him his blonde brow furrowed at his friend.
"Huh? What is it?" Kirishima turns surprised to see his friend's firm frown.
"Your work-study if I take you to someone you can't freak out got it?" Sternly, Katsuki tells him.
"Why would I?" Kirishima questions confusion clear on his face.
"And you can't tell a living soul got it!? I'll kill you if you do!" Loudly, Katsuki snaps scowling at him.
"Got it." Surprised, Kirishima jolts up at the rather tense tone of Katsuki, hands up in the air.
"Right then I'll set shit up." Scowling, Katsuki focuses back on his phone leaving Kirishima more confused than ever…
"H-Hey Bakugo this is a…" Kirishima's ruby reds widen watching the crime scene startling Kirishima when hearing the high pitch squeals of fangirls.
"Hawks love me!
"Hawks go out with me!"
"Hawks good work today!"
Happily, hearts spew out into the open air as Hawks smiles shyly at the cheering crowd, waving the perky pink hearts away as he handles his fans. Kirishima raises a brow when noting Katsuki's sharp scowl directed at Hawks, glaring, glowering at the blonde bird before turning his focus towards the brunette tending to the police report, Han standing by her side while Kane tries to take a fair few selfies with the crowd clearly entranced with Hawks much to his delusions.
"It's fine." Frowning, he aloofly brushes Kirishima off.
"Bakugo!" Panicked, Kirishima harshly hisses at him worried his voice cracking when watching the unfazed Katsuki approaches the police tape. Kirishima raises a brow when taking note of Edgeshot approaching Bombarda, the two talking calmly to one another as a small smirk crosses Bombarda's lips eyeing the girl by her side seeing her heated crimson cheeks causing a small snicker to escape the lips of the bemused Bombarda as a shy small smile crosses Edgeshot's own lips behind his mask of course.
"Kirishima's ruby reds widen when watching the group of adults converse calmly with one another as his hues take note that out of the corner of his eye, he takes note of the furrowed frown of Hawks surprisingly going quiet, his gold glaring, narrowing at the group in particular Edgeshot. Kirishima takes note of his feathers tensing up, ruffling up even as a feeble feather fragment wanders over to the group oblivious.
"He's so watching…He's so oblivious. Kirishima couldn't help but point out internally taking note of Hawks and Kane too even giving the group of adults talking amongst themselves, giving them the stink eye.
"Oi speaker head, spike tail!" Scowling, Katsuki calls out to the two snapping them out of their conversation, hands in his pockets as the two turn to him.
"Oh my gosh it's firefly and Soundspark! You work with that golem was awesome." Amazed, Kirishima gushes his hues sparkling, shimmering shining in awe at the sheer sight of the two as the two leave Edgeshot alone to talk to Bombarda.
"Thanks, Katsuki how good of you to visit, have the candles been helpful?" Hopeful, Haneul asks.
"Candles?" Confused, Kirishima furrows his brow noting Katsuki flinch from it, glaring to the side scowling, a faint ruby red on the tip of his ears.
"Yo Katsuki finally decided to take up my offer on some drumming?" Dubiously, Soundspark winks at the boy.
"DIE!" Katsuki yells.
"Love you too Katsuki." Kane winks at Katsuki.
"Bastards…" Bitterly, Katsuki grumbles glaring to the side scowling.
"I take it you're here for her." Haneul crosses her arms over her chest.
"Yeah." Katsuki nods his head confirming it.
"She's a bit busy but I'm sure we can handle things from here." Haneul assures him.
"Whoa Edgeshot too!" Kirishima says in awe at the sight of the ninja.
"Right…thanks." Aloofly, Katsuki brushes off the redhead excitedly beaming by his side.
"Wait Katsuki how do you…?" Kirishima soon flinches, furrowing his brow when watching the two head towards Edgeshot and Bombarda, the two conversing chirpily.
"Just shut up." Sternly, Katsuki snaps sharply at him taking Kirishima aback by the sheer tiredness of his tense tone.
"Yo Bomb!" Kane calls out to her.
"What is it Spark?" Bombarda turns to him.
"Your brother's here." Kane whispers to her.
"Katsuki? Is he allowed?" Alarmed, Bombarda furrows her brow.
"Don't know he isn't alone brought someone." Haneul throws in gesturing to the boy by her side.
"Right. Fly I leave clean up to you." Bombarda tells Haneul.
"Of course." Calmly, Han bows her head in understanding.
"Edgeshot it was good talking to you again." Politely, Katsumi tells the ninja.
"As it was you." Said Ninja bows his head to her watching her leave.
"And there she goes." Kane shoves his hands into his pockets watching Katsumi approach the two, noting the glowering gold glued to her back.
"Oi shithead." Smirking, Katsumi calls out to the blonde before her.
"The fuck you call me?" Mad, Bakugo bellows back glaring at her.
"You heard me!" Katsumi challenges back both Bakugo's smirking at one another, a familiar glint gleaming in their curt crimson.
"Oh my gosh…it's really you Bombarda the explosion hero." Kirishima gushes, sparkles shimmering shining in his ruby reds.
"…That is what people call me yes oh…you're horn head." Awkwardly, Katsumi furrows her brow at the boy below.
"Horn head?" Kirishima furrows his brow by the nickname, well now he knew at the least where Katsuki got his nicknaming habit from.
"He needs some hero for a work-study think you can recommend one?" Katsuki points to the redhead flinching from the sudden spotlight on him.
"Hmmm…your quirk it's hardening right?" Kirishima flinches from Katsumi's voice feeling the spotlight shine down upon him making him squirm slightly from the sheer intensities of her hues on him.
"Wait you know my quirk?" Kirishima says surprised.
"I saw your match with the silver guy." Katsumi tells him.
"Y-You saw that so cool! To be praised by the great Bombarda! You're so manly!" Merrily, Kirishima gushes in awe his hues shimmering shining in a world of his own.
"…Thank you? Was he dropped as a kid or…?" Unsure, Katsumi furrows her brow by the boy before her sparks shimmering around him. She turns to her younger brother facepalming as she crouches down slightly to ask her brother that in a low murmur of sorts.
"Like hell I know." Katsuki huffs glaring to the side after removing his hand from his face.
"Tell you what I'll think about it and text you when I know a place." Katsumi promises them.
"Oh thank you thank you so much I'll take anything," Earnestly, Kirishima confesses.
"Right well consider it thanks for saving dumbass." Lazily, she points to Katsuki, his hue twitching from her words.
"The fuck you calling a dumbass dumbass!" Enraged, Katsuki yells at her.
"I'm calling you a dumbass dumbasss!" Happily, Bombarda barks back.
"Dumbass!" Katsuki curses.
"Dumbass!" Katsumi curses.
"Um…guys?" Meekly, Kirishima sweat drops at the two boisterous blondes yelling at one another earning a fair few eyes on them as he sweat drops at the two not quite sure what to say.
"Relax I won't squeal I owe you enough for being friends with this little shit." Sighing, she leans back dismissing the angry dog barking gnawing away at her ankle almost.
"The fuck you call me!?" Mad, Bakugo demands from her.
"A little shit! Now go on you better get back to the dorm it would be best." Briskly, she tells Kirishima placing her hand on her brother's head, pushing him back from striking at her despite yelling at her.
"Right." Kirishima smiles shyly, a small snicker escaping his lips when taking note of the position, he couldn't help but compare it to the epitome of a big sibling dealing with their younger sibling.
"Thanks again Bombarda I won't let you down I promise!" The two leave as she furrows brow by feeling watched. Scowling, she turns towards the sensation however as soon as she does turn, Hawk quickly turns his head away, whistling innocently making Katsumi quirk her head to the side lost but brushes it off focusing on finishing the job.
"He's so obvious. Internally, both Haneul and Soundspark chorus sweat dropping at the blonde boy's jealousy as they continue helping with clean up.
"Boss." Haneul calls out as she enters Katsumi's office finding the girl ignoring the ring of her phone once more focusing on her laptop.
"What is it Han?" Huffing, Katsumi sighs, the soft sound of tapping echoing aggressively in the air.
"I was wondering what you planned to do about this request from U.A?" Han smoothly slides the paper over to her desk.
"Hm?" Humming, she arches a brow.
"They seem to be asking around about work studies." Haneul reports to her.
"Work studies?" Scowling, she picks up the piece of paper.
"Yeah." Haneul nods her head confirming it.
"They've never done that before." Katsumi mutters under her breath usually they'd leave it to the students to do it, normally to see which ones were the ones to keep their eyes on, to see who was willing to push themselves, to make the effort of becoming a hero.
"Maybe they're desperate." Haneul offers unsure.
"Maybe U.A's finally getting the picture." Pointedly, Katsumi sighs scowling.
"What do you mean boss?" Befuddled, Haneul quirks her head to the side.
"Think about it Han. U.A has been played by the villains twice now first at USJ then at the training camp, they know the villains are planning something or the threat they thought so arrogantly as nothing has grown and improved. They know a threat is coming and need their students to be prepared." Tiredly, Katsumi explains to her, her fingertips digging deep patterns into her tense temple glaring at the paper below.
"Prepared for what though?" Haneul ponders perturbed when noting her friend's furrowed frown.
"For war." A grim grave look crosses Katsumi at the worst-case scenario if things keep going the way they are.
"…You think they're hoping you'll take Katsuki under your wing." Haneul ponders.
"Perhaps…" Katsumi mutters.
"Are you though?" Haneul asks her.
"No." Swiftly, she answers.
"No?" Haneul blinks befuddled.
"It would be useless I've taught him what I can the rest he needs to learn himself. I can't spoon-feed him everything Han." Honestly, Katsumi reminds her.
"I-I suppose so. So…what will we do? We have a good record I mean…" Haneul begins but…
"Let's just see how the hero licence exam goes." Aloofly, she shrugs.
"Right…have you contacted your brother at all?" Haneul asks.
"I sent him a message. Luck will only get him so far besides this test will hopefully get him to see things clearer." Calmly, Katsumi tells her.
"Clearer boss?" Haneul asks.
"Failure is but a steppingstone to success, such lessons can help him see such things from a clearer picture." She informs Haneul.
Haneul sighs softly closing her eyes bowing her head knowing her boss well, a sad sigh escaping her lips as she leaves her boss to her activities. Her grip tightens around the books clutched to her chest as she approaches the elevator door, glancing behind her towards her boss closing her eyes anguished at the sad sight of her boss eyeing her phone, her furrowed fatigued faicla features showing the bags hanging heavily from her strained scarlet. Haneul knew just as Kane did, they knew why they followed her…although their boss may act as if they don't care, the people may believe her to be cold, to be ruthless to be villainous but Kane and her…they both know how kind of a person she really was…
Haneul sighs slowly turning towards the elevator hearing the soft jingle of the bell before heading into the elevator descending down leaving her boss to her dealings. Just as the elevator door closes, Katsumi exhales slumping slouching her shoulders, staring down at her phone, furrowing her brow before seething, slamming her teeth together, gritting grinding them before releasing a strained sound of a grunt of a screech. She swiftly slams her phone to the side, cracks spewing out of the broken glass leaving Katsumi alone, dealing with the aftermath of chaos…that is her life.
"Kat…." Shyly, Han calls out as Katsumi talking to someone on the phone making Han stop in her steps brow furrowing hearing the faint murmur of thanks again, you'll love him I know it I'll see you later then yeah, see you…Shyly, Haneul fidgets from waiting a bit before seeing Katsumi hang up turning her attention to Haneul who squirms from the shining spotlight shine down upon her.
"Haneul what are you…what are you doing?" Katsumi raises a brow at her friend noting the lack of papers in her grasp.
"Thought I come cheer you up so how you feeling?" Shyly, she smiles at Katsumi taking a seat opposite her desk.
"Like I've been fucked over." Tiredly, Katsumi sighs as Haneul's green soften slightly seeing the bags hang heavily under her scarlet seeing the duvet draped over the floor the pillows thrown to the floor as well.
"I get that I feel like that every time I go into subway." Sighing, Haneul confesses confusing Katsumi.
"You go to subway?" Scowling, she furrows her brow at Haneul.
"It makes me feel better going in there." Truthfully, Haneul shrugs her shoulders.
"But you can make a sandwich at home." Honestly, Katsumi points out.
"Yeah but can you toast it?" Smirking, Haneul argues.
"Do you have an oven? A toaster?" Tiredly, she asks Haneul.
"Yeah?" Haneul furrows her brow by the question.
"Then you can toast it." Smoothly, she shuts her down.
"Urgh…" Haneul huffs rolling her eyes.
"Alright what do you mean?" Tiredly, Katsumi sigh seeing the pent-up girl wanting to speak or at the least say something.
"Like…everything about subway is infuriating. The people in front of you take too long, there's no drive-through and like it's just all…okay I know I'm being dramatic but it's like the land of inconveniences." Irritated, Haneul confesses to her boss.
"Yeah well why would you go in there?" Katsumi quirks her head to the side.
"To feel good." Haneul huffs.
"That shouldn't be a reason. Look if you're going out to eat then spoil yourself it's as simple as that screw calories and eat whatever shit you want." Katsumi tells her.
"I get that but I just it's like they start with what do you want? Not a hi nor hello just what you want like I'm gum on their shoe or something which makes you become a deer in headlights and they just straight-up blank you leaving you just crying inside until someone else comes up then you got to get a read on their personality…" Haneul explains to her.
"I get there I mean I'll ask for a chicken teriyaki on flatbread and they'll ask if I want cheese which I will say swiss then they'll ask what kind." Casually, Katsumi throws in.
"The kind you asked for." Haneul smirks slightly.
"Yes!" Katsumi huffs.
"And you have so many bad experiences with the place that it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy like the second you walk in they'll ask you what you'd like then you're like urgh this again!" Amused, Haneul smirks slightly amused almost at the furious fuming mad mess before her.
"Hahah then they'll ask if you want cheese and you tell them swiss and then they ask if you want it toasted why is that even a question of course I want the cheese toasted! I-It's like spongy starchy bread of course I want it toasted! It was made to be toasted!" Haneul joins in fury flowing through her.
"Wow…" Katsumi blinks baffled by the sheer intensity of Haneul's words, she always seemed so calm, so composed, so serene seeing her crack like this was…an experience to say the least.
"Of course I want it toasted then they leave it in the microwave for an ungodly amount of time burning the fucking cheese which they expect me to pay for with a heavy layer of charcoal on it and then they go to another customer as another one takes it out and then I got to get a read on their personality and it's just…I JUST WANT LUNCH!" Furious, Haneul jolts up from her seat seething snarling angrily announcing it.
"And then they ask if you want spinach and give you tons upon tons of spinach, an avalanche of it." Katsumi smirks slightly almost adding fuel to the fire eager to see where this would go.
"YES! And I want like five other things then they ask if you want onion and giving you non then you're like more onion please! And then when you ask for a weird combination like mayonnaise and sweet onion sauce they throw up their eyebrows like wha…oooh and then you're like don't judge me I can…I can make my own sandwich!" Seething, Haneul bellows boisterously, almost heaving at the memory.
"I think this is the most angriest I've ever seen you." Snickering, Katsumi chuckles leaning back in her seat smirking almost amused at the chaos caused.
"I'm sorry I just I shouldn't have ranted at you like that. This was supposed to cheer you up." Ashamed, Haneul crumbles, a ruby red fuming flush crossing her crimson cheeks as she sits down, bowing on the seat, curing in on herself, her head in her hands groaning, steam spewing out of the flustered fuming mess, almost dying of embarrassment.
"Oh trust me Han when I say this you really have made my day. You've made my whole month. Hahahah!" Smiling, Katsumi couldn't help but chuckle a small smile crosses her lips at the internally screaming girl before her.
"I…I haven't seen Hawks in a while." Shyly, Haneul points out as the light air around the two turns tense, Katsumi's ruby reds narrowing.
"Yeah…" Katsumi draws out unsure.
"You…wanna talk about it?" Haneul asks confusing Katsumi.
"What's there to talk about?" Befuddled, Bombarda quirks her head to the side.
"Kat…" Han begins brow furrowing, from it. Normally, Hawks would come around at lunch whether to pester Kat or bring her lunch for the two to have together, he'd always come by whether to mess with her or to invite her out for patrol whenever it happens Han could see how happy her boss and Hawks were, she could see it as clear as day from both sides. The giddy glee on Hawk's happy face as he'd dive in eager to surprise her the glint gleaming in his hues as he'd watch her react to his teasing taunts.
"Han please don't make me have to tell you there's nothing going on with me and Hawks." Huffing, Katsumi pleads exhaustion etched into her fatigued facial features.
"No I know that I just…normally he'd come flying to bring you lunch or you'd guys talk or…" Han reminisces unaware of Katsumi tensing up crossing her arms over her chest cross, clearly uncomfortable at the topic at hand.
"Yes well as you can see that's not happening." Swiftly, she shuts down the idea.
"Did something happen?" Han questions concern clear on her face when seeing said woman twitch flinch from it.
"Nothing that concerns you Haneul." Aloofly, Katsumi shrugs Han off.
"Kat you're my friend of course it concerns me." Haneul argues worried.
"Han I promise you everything is fine nothing is going on." Bluntly, Bombarda tells Haneul.
"Boss…I know you like doing things on your own handling things but if you need to talk…" Han offers making her sigh.
"I'll go to you I know but I'm fine trust me." She tells Firefly arising from her seat.
"…Okay. Wh-Where are you going?" Frowning, Firefly watches on as Bombarda brushes by her heading to the elevator.
"Got to meet up with my brother I think I found a suitable candidate for that friend of his." Smirking, Katsumi tells Haneul just as she enters the elevator, descending down heading to the meeting point.
Loudly, the boisterous bustle of the conserving customers reside in their own separate booths scattered around them.
"Thanks for coming Tai…" Thankful, Katsumi smiles softly at the blonde before her.
"No problem I can't wait to meet this guy it's rare for you to see someone so promising that you'd recommend them." Truthfully, Tai confesses to her.
"Yeah well I thought you'd like him reminds me a lot of you." Katsuki tells him.
"Oh yeah then why don't you snatch him?" Tai arches a brow bemused.
"I got enough on my plate as it is. Ah there they are." Katsumi arises from her seat just as the two enter the restaurant where she waves them over.
"Ms Bombarda thank you so much again for doing all this." Thankfully, Kirishima lunges over to Katsumi snatching her hands shaking her hands, grateful for her aid.
"It's cool I should thank you for putting up with Katsu." Katsumi looks towards her brother glaring to the side scowling.
"You wanna die?" Katsuki scowls shoving his hands into his pockets, glaring, glowering at her.
"Hello to you too little brother." Smirking, Katsumi ruffles up her blonde roots making him grumble gritting his teeth together slouching scowling at her.
"Oi I ain't little I'm catching up to you so suck it!" Smugly, Katsuki hollers haughtily.
"Hey remember we were lucky Mr Aizawa let you out when we did considering your punishment." Pensively, Kirishima worries.
"Punishment?" Perplexed, Katsumi furrows her brow as Katsuki flinches from it, dread drenching his facial features glaring, glowering at Kirishima to shut up but of course the redhead…
"Oh he started a fight with Midoriya." Innocently, Kirishima answers making Katsuki internally scream at the reveal.
"Oh he did did he?" Smirking, Katsumi turns to bare her fierce feral fangs showing her sadistic smirk towards her brother, feeling the shy shudder course crawl down his spinal cord.
"SHIT!" Katsuki curses as Katsumi swiftly slaps him at the back of his head.
"THE FUCK YOU THINKING YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Snarling, she snatches him by his ear, yelling at her brother
"HE PISSED ME OFF!" Angry, Katsuki snaps back.
"AND YOU PISS ME OFF! YOU DON'T SEE ME BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF YOU!" Fuming, she berates her brother.
"I WON IT!" Irritated, he huffs.
"OH AND THAT'S SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF!" Seething, she arches a brow baffled.
"DAMN RIGHT!" Roaring, Katsuki shouts.
"A-Alright you two let's just calm down…" Worriedly, Tai tries to stop the two.
"Y-Yeah come on Katsuki how about we order yeah?" Kirishima joins in anxiously.
"Tch fine but I ain't paying." Pointedly, Katsuki slumps against the booth seat.
"Oh you are paying young man." Sternly, she elbows him in the side lightly.
"Screw you! You're the older one you should pay." Katsuki argues angrily.
"I was until I heard you beat the shit out of Deku." Deadpanned, she points out.
"…Fine." Katsuki glares to the side scowling.
"So Kirishima you want to do a work agency at my agency?" Tai turns to the redhead sitting by his side.
"Y-Yeah if you don't mind Mr Fatgum sir." Shyly, Kirishima smiles.
"Hey no need for the formalities here have a candy." Tai offers said candy.
"Oh thanks!" Thankful, Kirishima smiles at the candy offered.
"You really got to stop giving kids candy Fatgum." Frowning, Katsumi sighs at him.
"Hey I don't hear them complaining." Tai disputes.
"The parents would beg to differ." Deadpanned, she exclaims.
"Aw you're no fun." Tai says.
"So how do you two know each other?" Curious, Kirishima gestures to both Tai and Katsumi.
"We went to the same agency for our studies Kat and I have been friends ever since." Smiling, Tai reveals.
"That's so cool!" Starry-eyed, Kirishima gushes.
"Uh thanks…" Tense, Katsumi furrows her brow.
"So Katsuki what agency do you think you'll join?" Tai turns to the blonde.
"…" Katsuki tenses up at the spotlight as Kirishima stares sadly at him.
"Katsuki?" Katsumi calls out to him gently.
"Dude hey come on you should…" Kirishima calls out only to falter from the blonde bursting out of his seat.
"I need some air." Aloofly, he storms out.
"What's with him?" Confused, Tai ponders.
"Well…" Kirishima scratches the back of his neck looking up to see Katsumi staring out at the window seeing her brooding brother alone clearly concerned.
"I'll go talk to him excuse me." Katsumi arises from her seat bowing her head to them before heading out following her brother.
"So…you think you can let me join?" Kirishima asks once Katsumi leaves.
"I did see you on the festival you and that fight with that steel guy was pretty cool." Tai smiles at the memory.
"Tetsutetsu was an honourable opponent a man's man." Dramatically, Kirishima bows his head at the thought of his fellow man.
"So…you going to explain why you just walked out or…?" Katsumi asks furrowing her brow clearly concerned. She exits out of the restaurant seeing her brother leant against the wall, arms crossed over her chest.
"It's none of your damn business." Briskly, he huffs turning to glare to the side.
"I think if my little brother is upset it is my business." Softly, she joins his side leant against the wall.
"It's nothing." He huffs.
"Katsuki you can talk to me please what's going on?" Gently, she asks him making him sigh, a still silence hanging heavily between both Bakugo's before…
"…I failed." Firmly, he answers turning to look away.
"Failed?" Katsumi exclaims.
"My fucking provisional licence." Snippily, he snaps sharply seething.
"Oh Katsuki." Katsumi softly sighs at him.
"I don't need your pity…Why the fuck do I have to care about some grateful whiny people who can clearly get out of the rubble by themselves why should we distract ourselves as the villain gets away?" Angrily, Katsuki fumes furious, feeling his blood boil, bubble, burn, blinking back the tears threatening to fall from his shimmering scarlet.
"…Because that's what being a hero is about not beating the bad guy but saving those at risk of the bad guy." Gently, she reminds her brother placing her hand on his shoulder.
"…It fucking pisses me off everyone passed but me and half and half." Seething, he shrugs her off.
"Katsuki…" Katsumi sighs at her brother, brow furrowing.
"I'm meant to be strong but its thanks to me that All Might's weaker now, its thanks to my weakness that he had to retire that he…and now this licence failure just proves it." Intensely, he seethes snarls, his fingertips curling in on himself, forming fidgeting fuming fists.
"Katsuki listen to me that failure does not prove anything yes you do struggle with somethings but that's what everyone does, everyone fails so they can look back at themselves and become better from it. And look All Might wasn't going to be around for ever, that guy was going to crumble eventually whether it be from saving some cat from a tree or saving some bus from a bridge. It was bound to happen your case just so happened to be the one that broke the camel's back." Sternly, she explains to her brother bringing him into a side hug of sorts.
"…" Silently, Katsuki glares glowers at the ground below.
"I know how easy it is to dwell on the past brother, but you must listen to me when I say this don't dwell forever. Look back only to see your weaknesses for what they were using that piece of paper that evaluated you to see both your strong and weak points so you can round them out and be better understand? Being strong may be great being the pack leader may make you feel strong but it makes you unable to see your weaknesses, use this opportunity to see where you can improve little brother." Softly, she sighs attempting to elaborate her point.
"…Are you…are you disappointed?" Gently, Katsuki asks taking her aback.
"What? Is that why you didn't tell me?" She furrows her brow befuddled.
"…" Silently, Katsuki glares to the side scowling.
"Katsuki I'm not disappointed sure you can screw up sometimes but I can see that you're really trying to be a hero nothing could make me more proud at how hard you're trying to be that hero you swore you'd be as a kid." Katsumi firmly promises her brother.
"…Katsumi…" Katsuki begins but…
"Whatever you do know I am by your side always I will always be in your corner understand?" Sternly, she tells him.
"Thanks…" Katsuki softly whispers.
"No problem now come on knowing Tai our food may be gone if we don't hurry." Smiling, she gestures to the door as the two go to get some food to eat…
