"So I was watching this documentary did you know armadillos can swim?" Smiling, Haneul points out as she and Bombarda sit around the kitchen section of the employees' kitchen the two conversing as they sip their drinks in the snow white and pale baby blue coloured scheme kitchen while the other sidekicks tend to their work, nodding their head at the two superiors as they go about their day, the superiors calmly nodding back in acknowledging, some uttering a small warm welcome of a hello and good morning which they politely return.

Humming, Katsumi nods her head allowing Haneul to continue gushing over the documentaries.

"Then I watched these documentaries about amphibians did you know that toads can only hop whereas frogs can jump!?" Animatedly, Haneul continues gushing over it as Katsumi simply arches a brow by her words.

"What's the difference between a hop and a jump?" Befuddled, Bombarda quirks her head to the side.

"Well…" Haneul begins but…

"HEY GUYS!" Loudly, a familiar voice calls out as a fair few respond with hellos of their own from Kae's animated arrival.

"…" Tiredly, both Bombarda and Haneul share a fatigued frown from the boisterous bellow as the two turn only to stare stunned at the surprise by Kane's side.

"Kane." Alarmed, Haneul freezes from the sight of said male, her hues narrowing warily.

"Yeah…?" Kane smirks smugly at her.

"Whatch'a got there?" Carefully, Katsumi quirks her head to the side, brow furrowing from the sight before her.

"A smoothie." Smoothly, Kane answers as he sips said smooth, passion fruit from the looks of it.

"And in the other hand?" Haneul probes perturbed.

"Oh…a child." Casually, he shows said child, a fair-skinned girl with a slender build. She has triangular, lazy-looking onyx eyes with notably long lower eyelashes and rather small eyebrows. Her hair is short, only around chin length, and is dark purple in colour with an asymmetrical fringe, and two reflections shaped like heartbeat monitor waves on either side of her head. Her most prominent features are the flexible, plug-like earphone jacks hanging from each of her earlobes

"Kane…what have we told you about kidnapping…?" Katsumi reminds him.

"I didn't kidnap her." Huffing, Kane argues annoyed.

"If this some sort of way to one up me when I brought my sister's pet." Pointedly, Haneul gives him a warning look.

"You brought a Komodo dragon!" Sharply, Soundspark barks back but only received a coy chuckle in return.

"Marvin is not a Komodo dragon as if one would be that small!" Snickering, Haneul haughtily shakes her head amused almost at the thought turning her head to face the frank furrowed frown of Katsumi done with them both.

"Why do you even bring him!?" Haughtily, Kane demands from her.

"I was baby sitting." Sternly, she snaps as Katsumi simply sips her drink turning to flee from the two done with them all, not having the energy to deal with any of this.

"And so am I. She's called Jiro." Annoyed, Kane crosses his arms over his chest.

"Don't have I a say in this?" Tiredly, Katsumi sighs deciding to intervene, the bags hanging heavily from her fatigued features.

"Come on boss she wants to work with us she has a licence and everything!" Soundspark steps forward furrowing his brow beseeching the done looking woman.

"No." Sternly, she snaps turning on her heel to leave.

"What? Come on." Whining, Kane argues.

"I am not paying her nor am I dealing with the uproar that could come from having her get hurt." Strictly, Katsumi tells him however…

"I'm from U.A I can fight." Frowning, said girl decides to speak up brow furrowed.

"Just cause you're from U.A doesn't mean you're invincible." Irritated, Katsumi hollowly heckles.

"You…you were the one who told me to come here!" Jiro points out.

"Eh?" She blurts out quirking her head to the side stunned.

"Don't you remember at the mall?" Mystified, she demands.

"…Not really no. Spark get rid of her." Tiredly, she orders him, turning towards the elevator.

"But…I could teach her she and I have similar quirks please pretty please cherries on top!" Pleadingly, Kane begs on his hands and knees, scooting over trying to catch up to her small strides.

"Urgh…here are the ground rules, she can patrol but any slip of trouble you get her out of there. She can do paperwork or something, I don't care just no villains got it Kane?" Katsumi deadpans drained pinching the bridge of her nose as she tells him how it will go down.

"I'm not a baby." Annoyed, Jiro argues.

"Was I speaking to you?" Sternly, she turns to the girl flinching from the sheer intensity of her scowling scarlet.

"N-No mam." Meekly, Jiro stutters stammering bowing her head fearful frightened of the woman before her.

"Damn right. She's your problem Kane anything that happens is on you." Strictly, she tells Kane slowly standing up as she pokes him in the temple.

"Got it boss." Beaming, Kane salutes his boss entering the elevator leaving the group to their own devices while she tends to her own.

"You're really asking to be punched Kane." Huffing, Haneul slams her mug down on the kitchen counter, green glaring, glowering at him at his nerve.

"Aww come on Han don't be so mad." Mischievously, he winks at her only making her grit her teeth together feeling frustration flow through her veins.

"You're lucky the boss didn't kick you two out!" Angrily, Haneul barks at him.

"I am right here you know." Jiro tries to defend herself however…

"Kane you know how the boss feels about this sort of thing." Smoothly, she ignores Jiro turning her focus firmly on Kane.

"Han really? Bringing that up?" Kane's baby blues narrow while Jiro furrows her brow by the tight tension hanging between them noting a fair few employees look on worriedly when watching the pair.

"No, you know how tired the boss has been with those phone calls and you know how stressed she has been from work not to mention her personal life you know how drained she is and you decide to spring this on her? She's been through enough this year Kane." Fuming, Haneul brings up angry as a fair few people watching on, nodding their heads sharing a look of concern at the thought of their boss and her track record this year. They all respected their boss but every one of them knew she needed a break from the chaos of this year.

"Look the kid just wants to learn under me what's wrong with that?" Tiredly, Kane slumps his shoulders.

"What's wrong is that you didn't ask the boss. You didn't ask any of us." Haneul points out.

"Cause I knew you lot would just reject it." Irritated, Kane points out.

"For a valid reason." Resolved, Haneul huffs.

"For an aged old reason." Resolved, Kane disputes.

"You're a kind person Kane to see you do this…you're just cruel." Hurt, Haneul shakes her head at him, storming off towards the elevator.

"Han!" Kane calls out as she enters the elevator, the ruby red doors slamming shut before him leaving him alone.

"What was that about?" Lost, Jiro furrows her brow looking towards Kane.

"Forget it, don't waste your time o it Han's always been a teacher's pet." Poisonously, Kane huffs, grumbles, glaring to the side.

"You sure?" Jiro furrows her brow at her mentor.

"I am now come on I have so much to teach you." Theatrically, Kane proclaims proudly before guiding Jiro away beginning to show her around the Bombarda agency.

"So this is where the magic happens…" Smiling, Kane stretches his arms out after the two had headed towards a separate wall with another set of elevators, instead of the ruby red however, they are a sleek silverish steelish baby blue elevator. The two enter the elevator, elevating upwards from the number picked by Kane as the door opens revealing a black and blue chequered floor below with a murky marron like wallpaper with sound proof foam around the wall.

"Your recording set whoa it looks awesome this is like the latest tech." Impressed, Jiro gushes over the mixing set smiling as she peers into the sound booth opposite the two.

"Heh yeah only the best of the best for my muses!" Merrily, Kane stretches his arms out after plopping himself over the leather chair spinning it around as Jiro takes note of the still silent figures, headphones in hand in a world of their own tending to mixing and video editing from the looks of things. Jiro perks up when seeing a fair few screen shots of future podcasts about to be uploaded.

"Speaking of I got to ask how did you get Bombarda to sing? She doesn't seem the sort to sing." Surprised, Jiro twirls her earlobe jack around her forefinger.

"Funny story so Bombi and me…" Kane begins but…

"Bombi?" Jiro smirks slightly at the nickname used, a small sicker escaping her lips at the memory only making Kane flinch from it, dread washing over at him at the slip of the tongue.

"Yeah don't call her that to her face she isn't above hitting a teen." Truthfully, Kane tells her sweat dropping at the thought of a certain bruised blonde yelling, screeching swiftly being silenced by a firm fist to his head. He had remembered it time and time again how she'd beat her brother's boisterously bellow, cursing, snarling, snapping, swearing at her only for her to swiftly shut him up with a firm fist to the head.

"…Noted." Jiro leans back in the seat offered to her.

"Anyway she and I went to middle school together and she shouts quite a bit and her folks wanted her to take up a hobby to deal with her temper so when I offered singing lessons she took them." Truthfully, Kane exclaims to Jiro.

"Only to get her parents off her back." Bemused, Jiro chuckles coyly at the thought.

"Yeah plus I told her in the past she should try bellowing from her gut. I mean I'm more of a pop guy but my parents folks had connections, they got me a music teacher who taught me stuff and I hooked Bombi up with him. Ever since then we've been doing heavy rock she has the vocals for it." Fondly, Kane recalls smiling shyly at the memory.

"Yeah I loved her cover of IDOL!" Excited, Jiro gushes beaming brightly.

"Ah that one was fun to record Han had taught us bits and pieces of Korean she made sure our pronunciation was right." Kane recalls fondly snicking at the memory of Haneul pinching or poking, prodding the two even from even one small mistake. However said small falters from it, a brow furrowing from the memory of the hurt Haneul's face flickering in his vision making him sigh sadly, slumping against the seat.

"I didn't think someone could belt so well when singing in an entirely different language from their own." Jiro snaps Kane out of his sudden sad stupor shaking his head trying to brush it off as he smiles shyly at the girl.

"Yeah it took months I reckon, fortunately for us Han helped a lot though don't rely on us to speak a sentence of it we barely got the words, hell reading it was baffling to us." Kane combs his fingertip through his hair.

"Does Han sing too?" Jiro ponders perplexed.

"Yeah she and me do covers of songs, since Bomb's voice tends to be rather heavy it's rare for us to work together since she often overpowers my voice funny enough." Kane tells her.

"But I swear I heard a fair few tracks of you too." Confused, Jiro points out.

"Yeah after a shit ton of mixing or me using my quirk heh." Shyly, Kane chuckles coyly cradling his throat, digging patterns into his tense throat.

"Are these yours?" Jiro ponders looking up at the guitar and other instruments some hung up, some in case, some clearly cared for.

"Yeah most of them, though the flute and ocarina is Han's oh and the saxophone." Smiling, Kane tells Jiro.

"She can play the saxophone?" Stunned, Jiro says surprised.

"Violin, cello, saxophone, flute, ocarina, she tends to favour most of the families well except brass she's a killer on the clarinet too! Heh!" Happily, Kane recalls joyfully looking over at a fair few instruments that were Haneul's.

"I didn't think of her as a saxophone player." Jiro's hues expand at the reveal.

"Yeah most assume it to be Bombi. What can you play?" Bemused, Kane chuckles coyly.

"Uh…not much I mean I can play a few but I'm ot the best I mean it's just a hobby you know?" She tries to downplay it.

"Do you enjoy it?" Kane asks taking her aback.

"Yeah but it's useless I'm going to be a hero." Huffing, Jiro stares down at her earphone jack gently tapping against each other.

"Why not do both?" Bemused, Kane asks.

"What?" Jiro blinks baffled by the notion.

"Just cause you're a hero doesn't mean you can't have hobbies." Honestly, he tells her.

"But it's a useless hobby." She bows her head, a heavy hue of perky pink upon her crimson cheeks.

"Kid without my hobby we wouldn't be as popular as we are now imagine what you could accomplish by doing both." Bluntly, Kane deadpans.

"But…" Jiro begins but…

"But what?" Kane challenges her.

"It's useless in the world of heroes." Sadly, she bows her head.

"Not necessarily." Kane exclaims.

"How so?" Jiro ponders.

"Well…it can be therapeutic. It can help heal people." He points out.

"It can?" Jiro says surprised.

"Yeah most of my songs come from close calls on the job. Music cheers people up a lot there have been tough days around here a fair few times." Tenderly, he smiles shyly at the memory.

"What did you do then?" She asks.

"Get everyone to gather around as we just sang." Simply, he shrugs.

"Seriously?" Stunned, she exclaims.

"Yeah, music really does help. Don't dismiss your talent Jiro." Seriously, Kane tells Jiro who stares stunned not quite sure what to say as next she knew her lips were moving…

"Can she play?" Jiro asks curiosity clear on her facial features.

"She…used to." Tensely, Kane sighs sadly at the memory.

"Used to?" Jiro arches a brow.

"Yeah her hand…she uh…she was the best of the best with the guitar you should have heard her, she was a master of the guitar it was a shame what happened…" Pained, Kane smiles sadly, strained at the memory of the two of them in their own little world with her holding her guitar, strumming the strings. However, he soon falters from it, the murky memory dispersing disappearing leaving his slumped from alone.

"What did happen?" Jiro quirks her head to the side only to falter from his faint flinch.

"That ain't my story to tell come on let me show you how we mixed things." Teasingly, he winks at Jiro joyfully before leaning over the mixing set smiling, eager to show off his music.

"Oh sure okay…" Slowly, Jiro stands up following Kane's lead smiling shyly, eager to learn from the music master that is Kane.

Jiro's hues widen when seeing sparks spew out into the open air as numerous people go about their day, tending to their own workbenches each one having a small cubicle of sorts with their own workbench, tinkering to their heart's content.

"Hey guys!" Happily, Kane calls out to those some waving at him others acknowledging him before swiftly returning to their tinkering.

"Oi Sparks does the boss know you brought a kid here?" A man asks as he wears a heavy mask over his face furrowing his brow at Kane.

"It's cool now then allow me to show you around the place!" Perkily, Kane dismisses the guy turning back to Jiro.

"Whoa…what are those?" Jiro's hues expand at the sword strapped to the wall with a fair few other weapons.

"Oh these bad boys my weapons. I can infuse my sounds into other weapons, the heel of my shoe for example…." Smirking, Kane takes them posing with sid weapons before guiding Jiro through the tinkering room towards a sort of waiting room, seeing a vending machine but noticing the training grounds connected to the tinkering room. He approaches the glass door where with a swipe of his arm, the glass door opens for the two where Jiro gawks at the training room, seeing a fair few others training to their heart's content, some spar, some run, some train.

"So normally when I slam my foot down on the ground…" Beaming, Kane swiftly slams his heel down on the ground. Jiro gawks gapes at the sudden sound blasting into the air as a cracked crater soon forms from it, a thin path of rubble is thrown into the open air as a crater crack soon forms between both Jiro and Kane…

"My quirks allows me to transfer the sounds from within me into materials the heels of my boots releasing sound causing tremors. it's the same effect as when I use my blade." Beaming, Kane then shows said blade, Jiro's hues widening when hearing the faint hum emitting from the blade.

"Whoa…" Jiro stares stunned down at the ground below.

"Yeah…Bombi has always been anxious, Han also likes tinkering with her weather staff while Kat always tries to have a replacement arm on hand." Honestly, Kane gestures to the connecting room, gesturing back to the tinkering room.

Sounds useful." Jiro exclaims.

"Yeah, Bombi tends to hire people of all areas, not just fighters, healers, supporters, tinkerer that sort of thing." Lazily, Kane reveals to Jiro.

"I thought she'd just hire people with flashy quirks." Jiro confesses a part of her relieved.

"Nah just those useful…she hires people she knows to have drive, have purpose well she and Han. I don't really get a word in it." Forcibly, he heckles hollowly making Jiro furrow her brow by the strange snippet of bitterness brewing in his words.

"What's this one?" Jiro decided to play it safe changing topic to the staff strapped to the wall, seeing the glass-encased around it with the warning just in case of emergencies.

"Ah one of Han's weather wands, see Han's quirk can control the moisture in the air that's how her weather quirk works. She can increase the moisture in the air making it hotter allowing Bombarda's blast to be bigger. But she can also form clouds in the air by controlling the moisture in the air and the bigger the cloud the more trouble it can cause. The staff can conduct electricity allowing her to use some killer attacks." Amazed, Kane gushes, proudly proclaiming it gushing over the weapon.

"That's amazing." Jiro's hues expand at the information.

"I know right! Heh that's Han for you, always the tinkerer." Softly, Kane smiles shyly, a strained smile crossing his arms over his chest.

"You got a cool blade." Jiro offers optimistically seeing said male stretch.

"So have you. Still I bet it's hard to stand out amongst your peers even with your quirk." Smirking, Kane points out, stretching as he turns to her seeing her flinch from his words.

"It can be a bit difficult sometimes." Shyly, she twirls her earlobe jack around her fingertip.

"I get that it was the same for me it still is when you have someone like Bombarda as a boss though it isn't really her fault for it." Fairly, Kane exclaims.

"Do you hate her?" Jiro asks watching him continue stretching.

"Nah, I mean originally, I was a bit jealous about it I remember when I got into U.A I was at the bottom of the barrel. I thought I wouldn't make it to the end of the year. But Kat convinced me otherwise, she reminded me why I was here what I could do what she couldn't do. I…I wasn't always confident I always had Kat to give me that confidence boost." Beaming, he explains to her.

"So what did you do to stand out then?" Curious, Jiro asks.

"Well my music for one but then…I explored other means of revenue for the agency." Kane answers.

"You mean the podcast." Jiro catches on.

"Yeah…it was fun, I always told Bomb we should do one in high school, she thought it was bullshit and yet here we are." Kane smiles shyly at the memory.

"Your music…" Jiro bows her head furrowing her brow at the thought.

"Hm?" Humming, Kane turns to look up at her.

"It really helped me through my dark days you know? I would always wonder if I could juggle both of them." Shyly, she reveals as she feels both her jack earlobes clink together, a faint cheery crimson tint to her cheeks.

"Oh yeah?" Kane arches a brow bemused.

"I didn't know whether to do music or be a hero I…I wanted to be a hero but I wanted to do music I didn't know if I could do it but when I heard your music and found out about you…you became a role model of sorts, I mean seeing you do podcasts, videos while fighting crime…you showed me heroes could have a life outside fighting. And I…I wanted to thank you for that." Jiro confesses to him.

"Heh…" Kane smirks slightly feeling a rush of pride burst into his giddy chest feeling the boisterous butterflies fly all over the place within her.

"What is it?" Jiro asks curios.

"Guess I was in the same boat as you then." Lightly, Kane elbows her side.

"Really?" Jiro's hues perk up from his words.

"Yeah I loved music everyone said I was great at music but while I loved music I also wanted to be a hero. But I told constantly by my teachers, my mates hell even my folks said I couldn't do both but…" Kane leans back, a small smile upon his lips at the memory.

"But what?" Jiro ponders perplexed.

"Bombi believed in me. She was the only one who said to me if you love them both why not do them both, who says you can't? And here I am now doing my two-favourite thing in the world. Now come on." Kane declares determined craning his neck from side to side hearing the crisp crunch of bone as a sadistic smirk crosses his lips making Jiro flinch from the sheer intensity of said smirk, swearing she saw fierce feral fangs.

"Eh?" Jiro furrows her brow befuddled.

"If I can do it I don't see why you can't. Guess you could say I believe in you.

"You…You do?" Hopeful, Jiro whispers stunned by his words.

"Sure now come on let's see what you're made of." Kane smirks cracking his knuckles eager to see what the kid was capable of.

"Fine by me!" Focused, Jiro scowls swiftly drawing out her blade her earlobe jacks swiftly slamming into her boots ready for the fight ahead as she lunges at Kane, ready for the fight of her life...

The internships came and he decided to take me in again. A lot had been doing on at U.A as well you probably just want me to fill you in on all the latest happening right Hawks? Do not look down on me no. 3 nay no. 2 hero! Tokoyami scowls, glaring, glowering at his mentor making his way through the sky just as dark shadow wraps around Tokoyami's form, allowing him to leap from one side to the other catching up to Hawks on his phone, remaining still silent, listening to the boisterous bellow on the other side, pain plastered all over his furrowed features.

"Tsukuyomi's really going all out!" Surprised, Hawks jolts up at the voice perking up as he turns to peer over his shoulder, slowly lowering the phone from his ear.

"Yeah he really has improved from last we saw him!" Another one of Hawks' sidekicks adds.

"Ooh?" Intrigued, Hawks wiggles a brow bemused by the improvement of the dark hero chasing behind him as they control patrolling…

"Hey not bad you're doing pretty good." Impressed, Kane smirks at the heaving huffing battered beaten mess of Jiro sat slumped against the wall wheezing, the heavy clang of her blade being thrown to the side as she feels sweat slither slide down her tense temple.

"Can't…breath can't…" Heaving, Jiro heaves, cradling her toros curling in on herself shaking, foam spewing out of her lips.

"Heh you're lucky Bombi isn't training you then…" Tauntingly, Kane winks down at the battered beaten mess below him, exhaustion etched into her fatigued facial features, her hues soulless far from this world.

"And you do this daily?" Drained, Jiro gawks gaping up at him.

"Yeah still that quirk of yours is good." Kane offers cheerily crouching down.

"It is?" Jiro raises a brow taken aback.

"Yeah your quirk can be good for stunning people." Perkily, he smiles softly at her.

"What do you mean?" Mystified, she furrowed her brow befuddled.

"Watch me." Kane takes out from his shoulder pad a small circular sphere of sorts, a speaker of some sort tossing it across the training ground.

"Bombs?" Befuddled, Jiro furrows her brow by the strange shape.

"Sound amps." He corrects her as Jiro's hues expand seeing sound spew out of the sound amp as people nearby in their own training cry out, falling flat to their knees cradling their ears while others are blown back.

"Whoa what did they do?" Jiro ponders perplexed as Kane quickly apologizes to the grumbling glare sidekicks scowling at him.

"They releases a pulse from my heart it's a wireless sort of thing." Kane attempts to fill her in.

"How did you do it wireless?" She asks intrigued as like a yoyo, he reels it back as he catches it like a discus as it returns rolling over to him.

"Well that's where our quirks differ, I can control any sound but you can only control the sounds from you. I can transfer the sounds from me into objects causing them to break or if reinforced to release a burst stunning people." Kane explains to her.

"That's…awesome." Jiro whispers in awe at the device.

"Yeah but there is still an issue with it. It can cause people to become deaf depending on my frequency it can cause a whole lot more damage than necessary not to mention I can only use it on a select few items." Kane explains to her.

"So there's a limit…" Jiro's hues narrow.

"Like there is for everything. But that doesn't mean we can't push those limits see what you're capable of." Optimistically, Kane offers standing up.

"You'll really help me?" Jiro stares stunned seeing him insert the amp into the holster of sorts on his shoulder pads.

"Well as I am your hero seems only fair I do so now come on let's do this!" Smirking, Kane declares determined.

"Yeah!" Jiro shakily stands, eager to see what was in store for her with this internship of hers…

"I can't believe he did that I can't…!" Fuming, Haneul seethes snarls, scowls as she paces back and forth fuming, fury flowing through her tense aching muscles, mad. On the other hand, Bombarda remains in her seat, looking over at the work and emails, focusing on her paperwork while Haneul fumes twirling the staff in her hand, angrily jabbing it into the air causing a burst of wind to shoot out, causing cracks to hit the window.

"…Sorry." Sheepishly, Han falters furrowing her brow by the damaged window looking apologetic at the rather done looking Bombarda.

"It's fine." Frowning, she sighs shakily bowing her head focusing on the task at hand having seen the email Han had set out to have gone through with the announcements of route changes and such…she spots a fair few asking for a week or so of as she furrows her brow befuddled by it, just like last year too…she takes note of it. Was last month cursed or something?

"Fine!? Fine!? How is any of this fine!?" Fuming, Han snaps her out of her work mod.

"Han…" Tiredly, Katsumi sighs scowling at her friend it was rare for her to lose her temper but still…

"No this isn't…does he have any idea how much trouble we could get in without your verification!? He can't just think he can get away with everything! He can't….! I mean the nerve of him, disrespecting you like this, the nerve of doing that to you when you're at your weakest…the nerve of that…that…" Seething, her grip tightens around her staff, her nails scraping against the paint of the staff.

"HAN!" Strictly, she snaps when seeing the shy scarlet stream descend down her lips.

"Uh…" Haneul flinches from her snap wincing when feeling the sharp sting of her ruby red lip.

"Stop just stop." Sighing, Katsumi slumps in her seat leaning back exhaustion etched into her fatigated facial features.

"But aren't you?" Gently, Haneul probes earning a soft sigh.

"I am too tired to really deal with it okay? Just let him do it." Tiredly, she pinches the bridge of her nose once more.

"Are you sure?" Softly, she asks.

"Look so long as he doesn't do anything too rash we'll be fine." Firmly, she says to him before turning back to her job at allowing the vacation days just as Ed enters the room, a file in hand passing it over Haneul rants to herself.

"Thanks Ed." Softly, she whispers as Ed simply nods while Katsumi opens the file notes, her brow furrowing at the reports all under the tag, Hassaikai.

"I can't believe this I didn't come here to be treated like a little kid." Huffing, Jiro grumbles glaring down at the ground below before descending down leant against the wall of the training ground, glancing to the side towards the small waiting room of sorts, seeing Kane knelt down ordering a drink. Further behind is the lab where people tend to their own trinkets and gadgets.

"Yeah look don't be too upset about all this I mean we should be lucky Kat hadn't blown us out of the agency." Kane offers optimistically passing her a drink.

"…Still what was with her attitude? She's really rude, I mean she was the one who invited me here in the first place." Huffing, Jiro points out crossing her arms over her chest, curling her legs close to her chest cross.

"She did?" Kane raises a brow taken aback.

"Yeah I mentioned being a fan of yours she was really nice and advised for me to come here but now…" Shyly, Jiro reveals, a faint feverish hue to her crimson cheeks.

"Ah…sorry if I'm disappointing you or anything." Guilty, Kane sighs scratching the back of his neck, he didn't mean for this to happen, he thought the others wouldn't mind but now…

"No you're not if anything I'm grateful for giving me this opportunity but I just…" Jiro begins but…

"Look kid Han may have a point." Kane sighs sadly, she did have a point the kid was in the same class as her brother, he recalled from the sports festival when he and Han watches it at work, he and the other sidekicks of Bombarda placing their bets, many morals were broken that day alongside those broken by the son of Endeavour losing…

"She may?" Mystified, Jiro jolts up at his point.

"Well…you're sort of the same age as her little brother." Sighing, Kane looks down at his nails as he smoothly sides down next to Jiro's side sighing sadly.

"She has a brother?" Baffled, Jiro says shocked.

"Yeah she may call him a little shit and he calls her a old hag but the two care about each other in their own special way." Fondly, Kane smiles shyly leaning back against the wall.

"What's that got to do with me?" Mystifed, Jiro ponders perplexed.

"Her brother's been through a lot recently…so seeing you on the front lines isn't the best for her." Honestly, Kane tries to hint conflicted, he knew he couldn't explain it all who knew what chaos could be caused from his slip of the tongue.

"But I'm not her brother." Baffled, Jiro deadpans.

"Oh yeah you're definitely not he would destroy you." Chuckling, Kane deadpans.

"You didn't have to be that cruel." Jiro huffs at him.

"Chill he would wreck me too…well maybe…I don't know look I'm just trying to be modest but regardless his quirk is powerful." Kane rambles glancing from side to side as Jiro sweat drops.

"You sound familiar with her family." Jiro points out.

"You could say that..." Softly, he smiles at the memory of the two of them…

"Hi Mrs Bakugo." Politely, Kane greets the woman wearing a purple and green plaid flannel shirt with a snow-white baggy shirt underneath wearing a pair of baggy denim trousers and vans.

"Kane hey guessing you're here for Kat. Kat get your ass down here! Kane's here!" Smirking, Mitsuki yells making Kane chuckle adjusted to the boisterous bellows of the Bakugo household.

"I'm coming." Katsumi calls out from her room where she wears a black and orange baseball jacket matching the black shirt she wears underneath and camouflage trousers. She is currently knelt down across from her brother; an All Might action figure in hand as she has an Endeavour doll in her own hand as the two play Katsuki's game for him however, she soon stops from her mother's voice.

"No!" Katsuki whines.

"Katsuki come on I agreed to play with you if you did your chores." Calmly, she places her hand on his head ruffling her locks.

"But…!" Bakugo begins but soon falters. She places her doll to the side then heads down the stairs approaching Kane at the door however as she is about to leave.

"My sister mine!" Surprised, a blonde blur lunges by tackling the brown-haired man with laundry in his hand crying out startled as the supposed man of the house comes crashing soon feeble fabrics all over the place as he groans, his leg twitching at the bright bundle of energy that is his son rushing down the stairs.

"Uh…" Defeated, the younger Masura sighs slumping admitting defeat.

"Katsuki." Katsumi furrows her brow at her brother her tone stern feeling his arms around her leg feeling his fingertips dig deep into her trouser leg.

"Hahahahaha! You're a little shit you know that!?" Merrily, Mitsuki curses cheerily smirking down at the rather cute scene.

"Miiiiinnne!" Stubborn scarlet glare into a pair of baby blue.

"Katsuki I'll be back soon I promise." Tiredly, Katsumi sighs at her baby brother.

"Nooo! My sister miiiiinnneee!" Mad, Katsuki stamps his foot firmly on the ground glaring at the figure at the door.

"Guess there's only one way we can go about this." Mischievously, Mitsuki smirks smugly at both the confused Kane and concerned Katsumi knowing that gleaming glint in her hues anywhere…

Softly, the sound of strumming strings echoes in the air as the focused furrowed frown of Katsumi focuses on the task at hand while Kane smirks, his legs crossed over the other while watching the young Bakugo raise his hand with the stick to the high heavens before clashing it down, the heavy ring of metal from the glistening gold cymbal. Startled, the young Katsumi jolts up turning to see the widened hues of scarlet staring stunned at the drums below before beaming smashing the drums down going crazy earning a small smirk from Kane.

"Seems we found the perfect instrument for Katsuki." Kane beams brightly at Katsumi.

"Seems so." Smiling, Katsumi gently places her guitar to the side reaching over ruffling her baby brother's hair making him whine wailing his arms in the air before continuing to drum to his heart's desire as the lesson is cast aside, the two simple watching the young boy play the drums…

"Now come on let's see what you're capable of!" Beaming, Kane places his hands on his hips standing up from his seated position.

"…Again?" Whining, Jiro groans grunting not sure she could handle another round.

"All right how about we go out on patrol?" Perkily, he offers.

"Really?" Hopeful, she asks.

"Yeah why not!?" Kane smirks.

"That sounds more my tune." Jiro stands up eagerly, following Kane out of the training room eager to do some patrolling…

Quietly, Tokoyami and Hawks hover above the rooftop as they converse with one another through the neighbourhood of sorts seeing people go about their day while noting the crowd below them gushing over his mentor. Tokoyami didn't know how Hawks had the patience to deal with them, having such attention thrown his way would ruffle the feathers of Tokoyami for him to take the attention in his stride was impressive to say the least.

"My weakness? Hm…if I gotta pick something…it'd be fire." Humming, Hawks considers gently waving down at the crowd below, brushing aside a stray heart hovering above having been emitted from the people below but Hawks simply smiles at the affectionate crowd however Tokoyami couldn't help but take notice of Hawks hues lingering away from the crowd, seemingly staring at something else. Then again now that Tokoyami thought about it, this was a new route for them. He hadn't taken this route before…wasn't this the Bombarda agency patrol route? Or at the least the two seemed to be on the edge of it, speaking of…

Tokoyami couldn't help but peer in seeing said woman tiredly listening to the rather fuming looking Haneul pacing back and forth stabbing her staff into the ground now and again as he took note of the shy crack on the window. But the two bat an eye to it as the done looking Katsumi draws out a glass bottle pouring herself a drink as Han rants and raves roaring to the high heavens as Katsumi takes a small sip of her drink, trying to deal with the mess that is before her.

"Cuz even my fierce wings can burn." Hawks whispers leaning into his gloved palm as Tokoyami took notice of his glistening gold gazing down at the crime scene below, a sad smile upon his lips looking longingly at the brunette below making Tokoyami furrow his brow befuddled. Something was off before he would look at her with such awe, with pride almost, with longing even but now he looked sad, disappointed even, pained even as if he wanted to speak to her but couldn't. What was stopping him? He never hesitated the last they spoke as Tokoyami grimaced at the blinking incident, what had changed? Why did he look so sad? Why had changed? What had happened between the two? Tokoyami shakes his head at the thought brushing it aside, it had nothing to do with him, he shouldn't intrude…

"So…how do you counter fire?" Frowning, Tokoyami tries to change the topic.

"Hi Hawks!" Happily, the cheering crowd call out hearts spewing out of them.

"Before a villain can use it…I strike." Smiling, he tells Tokoyami as Tokoyami couldn't help but ponder as the two continue patrol, his ruby reds lingering upon the crime scene the two leave to Bombarda's devices, a part of him pondering if fire was Hawks only weakness…

"So let me set the rules straight here when you two are out on patrol you are not to engage in any fighting nor people are two are simply to get what the others want is that clear?" Curtly, Bombarda crosses her arms over her chest as she tells Kane with Jiro standing by his side in her office after the two had come up to her office dictating they were going on a patrol.

"Come on not even one fan?" Feebly, Kane whines childishly.

"Think of it as punishment for going behind the bosses back." Han huffs crossing her arms over her chest glaring glowering at Kane.

"Oh shove off Han…" Huffing, Kane rolls his eyes exasperated at her.

"You should be lucky the boss is even letting you go out you're lucky the guys on the engine floor have run out of biscuits!" Mad, Han points out.

"And Oreos…" Casually, Katsumi joins in softly sipping her drink drained.

"Yeah Oreos!" Han huffs hands on her hips.

"Why specifically Oreos?" Jiro arches a brow befuddled by her firm frown.

"Ah Ed's gluten intolerant." Lazily, Kane reveals to Jiro.

"Who's Ed?" Lost, Jiro quirks her head to the side.

"You'll meet him soon enough…" Aloofly, Katsumi tells Jiro before dismissing the two as they leave, heading out for patrol.

"Urgh Han is such a goodie two shoes." Kane huffs stretching his arms behind his head as the two patrol around the streets seeing a fair few eye them.

"Is your boss really mad at me?" Jiro furrows her brow looking up at Kane.

"If she was she would have kicked you out by now." Honestly, Kane tells her waving at a fair few.

"I guess…" Jiro mutters glancing to the side.

"Hey don't worry about it, worrying about that sort of thing won't help you need to be confident girl, you have skills, you have talent don't think you're not." Kane assures her winking at a fair few girls giggling at him.

"I mean my quirk isn't that big of a deal." Jiro crosses her arms over her chest.

"Hey kid being modest is nice and all but you need to know your value okay?" Sternly, Kane reminds her.

"I guess…hey what's going on over there?" Jiro furrows her brow by the cheering crowd.

"HAWKS!"

"HAWKS LOVE ME!"

"Hawks DATE ME!"

"Urgh…him…" Disgusted, Kane huffs glaring to the side.

"Whoa that's pro hero Hawks I didn't know this was his patrol route!" Surprised, Jiro's hues widen when seeing the bird boy simply standing there as the blonde is bathed in the adoration of his fans.

"It isn't." Irritated, Kane sneers.

"Huh?" Jiro turns to see Kane's sharp scowl towards the blonde.

"It's Bombarda but bird boy doesn't really play by the rules." Rudely, Soundspark sneers.

"What do you mean by that?" Jiro asks him.

"He likes coming round here to bother the boss." Kane crosses his arms over his chest.

"Bother her?" Jiro exclaims.

"Taunt her, tease her, invite her to have lunch he often circles around her turf." Tiredly, Kane tells her.

"That would explain the pictures of them together." Jiro whispers brow furrowing at the memory of his feed showing her often with him in photos, recalling one in particular of him having a movie night with Bombarda, his head on her lap as she ate her popcorn oblivious to the camera focused solely on the movie.

"Yeah the boss has been dealing with him for months now, his fans haven't been helping either." Kazz grumbles, glaring, glowering at the squealing fangirls.

"I can only imagine…I wonder why they are here though…" Jiro ponders out loud.

"Hey Sparky!" Said bird boy lands before the two taking Jiro aback but Kane looks non too pleased, scowling at the pro before him.

"Hawks…" Coldly, Kane sneers scowling at him.

"How are you? How have things been with Bombarda?" Hawks asks intrigued.

"Why don't you ask her yourself bird brain?" Rudely, Kane demands from him.

"Aw come on Sparky what's with the cold shoulder?" Confused, Hawks ponders perplexed.

"Maybe get your infestation off our roads and we wouldn't have a problem." Poisonously, Kane sneers waving him off but…

"Hawks! Hawks!" Happily, the crowd cheer.

"Now, now, I can't control my little baby birds." Bemused, Hawks snickers smirking slightly, winking at the girls screaming, screeching, some even falling flat to the ground, blood busting out of his nose.

"Oh get over yourself." Kane huffs.

"Do I detect a hint of jealousy?" Amused, Hawks wiggles a brow bemused.

"I could ask the same with a certain ninja and Bombarda…" Kane looks over at his nails smirking slightly when noting Hawks' faint flinch.

"…You're funny you know that." Hollowly, Hawks chuckles as Jiro furrows her brow, her hues widening when meeting a pair of ruby red, the two open their mouths about to speak when…

"Not as funny as you, I mean how deluded are you, clinging to Bombarda like a lost little lamb do you think she would ever waste her time and effort on a sleazy paly boy like you?" Surprised, both kids jolt up flinching from Kane's cold curt words just as Hawk's hues narrow from his words.

"…Bombarda and I are just friends that's it." Sternly, Hawks tells him.

"Friends? When was the last time you spoke to her?" Kane demands from him.

"…" Silently, gold glare into baby blue.

"Friends don't just stop speaking not after something happened now let me guess what happened. you put on a move on Bombarda. But unlike you she has standards, she has a brain, she has the wit to know she can do better so of course when she rejects you, the man child that you are, can't accept it. Everyone loves you so to have someone who you like not like you back you can't take it can you? So what do you do despite her saying you two can be friends, avoid her like a child." Coldly, Kane explains fury flowing through him.

"…You know nothing about me and her." Hawks repeats resolved.

"I'm sure…" Snippily, he turns on his heel about to leave when…

"ARGHHHHH!" Surprised, the group jolt up at the crisp crack of the window breaking smashing right before everyone's eyes as a girl's body is flung forward towards the road, glass shards shattered all over the place as small slits of scarlet littered all over her scantly clad form, a school girl from the looks of things, a middle schooler maybe.

"Holy-" Jiro curses staring stunned as she gapes up at the armadillo mutant pinning the quivering, quaking girl down to the ground.

"Get down!" Loudly, Kane roars unsheathing his blade swiftly slamming it down on the ground below as a burst of supersonic energy is thrown at the armadillo but said male curls in on itself using its shield to well shield itself from said blast, forming a roll out sort of attacking aiming at both sound heroes.

"Shit! Soundproof barrier!" Kane stretches his arms out flat firmly in the open air as speakers are revealed in his palms, releasing said sound waves forming a wall protecting both Jiro and Kane but the armadillo keep rolling into the invisible wall of sorts.

"Hawks could use a hand over here! Huffing, Kane roars scowling at the bird boy.

"I'm a bit busy here." Huffing, Hawks barks back, his feather blades being swiftly crushed by the woman's claw as both birds fly high in the air, dodging said strikes at one another as they send an array of feathers at one another but they find themselves at a standstill of sorts.

"Dark shadow!" Tokoyami calls out as said shadow shoots out from his torso.

"I'm on it!" Dark shadow charges at the beast before a bright fluffy of green ad purple strike at the black blur pinning it down to the ground below.

"Dark shadow!" Concerned, Tokoyami calls out as Jiro gawks gaping at the harpy-like lady, her claws digging deep into the teary-eyed dark shadow.

"My mate…" Mad, the woman sneers snarls struggling almost as she bows her head clearly in pain distress even as she curls in on herself, heaving huffing, pinning Dark Shadow down.

"Get off him!" Jiro roars swiftly slamming her foot down, releasing a boisterous burst of sound directed at the woman or he tries to but instead, it only reinforces the barrier before her making her curse.

"Jiro!" Kane calls out as he sees the girl raise her blade lunging at the harpy woman while Hawks tries to deal with her distracting her with his feather blades clashing against her feather wing of sorts, both blade-like feathers hardening striking at one another when Jiro approaches slamming her blade against the woman who simply clashes back with her other wing, blocking her strike. Smirking, when noting out of the corner of her eye the armadillo turning and…

"Earphone!" Kane calls out to her as Jiro gasps about to slam her jack into her boot only to hiss when a pair of claws nick her earlobe making her cry out scarlet smearing her elongated earlobe, giving the perfect open for the armadillo as Jiro gasps staring up at the bolder about to hit her. She slams her eyes shut preparing to be squashed when suddenly a brown blur rushes in, blasting the armadillo away from her.

"Bombarda!" Jiro stares stunned at the brunette before her.

"I can't believe you Spark! Do you how risky it is coming here!" Haneul berates him rushing into the scene.

"Is now really the time?! Besides It's our normal patrol to the shop!" Snippily, Kane disputes.

"Spark you were told not to go on this route!" Resolved, Haneul reminds Kane.

"When!?" Kane demands from her.

"It was an email I sent it to everyone!" Enraged, Haneul fills him in.

"Oooh…most of your mail I put in spam…" Sheepishly, Soundspark smiles as both Bombarda and Haneul turn to gape at the moron.

"WHY!?" Hurt, Haneul screams at him.

"Well…" Sheepishly, he turns to look away not having the heart to tell her, her attempt at humor by sending constant minions wasn't the best form of humor.

"ENOUGH BOTH OF YOU!" Fed up, Bombarda barks at the two flinching from the sheer frustration flowing through her boss as they nod their heads fearful of facing her wrath.

"But…!" Whining, both of them childish chorus only to flinch from her firm frown.

"Jiro are you alright?" Bombarda kneels down to the girl cradling her ear hissing.

"I…urgh my head…" Jiro winces cradling her head.

"Right…Ed! Take the two back to the agency the med bay should take care of them!" Sternly, she orders him as he nods his head in understanding before turning towards the harpy girl seeing said woman be swiftly cut down by Hawk's sword blade both gold meet ruby red but the two don't bat an eye to each other, focused firmly on the task at hand as next they knew Tsukauchi had arrived ad they were watching the harpy and armadillo be put into the police cars.

"Thanks for calling Bombarda seems that perfume the girl had on was an aphrodisiac that triggered the occupant's heats." Tsukauchi revealed.

"An aphrodisiac? How did she get something like that?" Bombarda questions.

"We don't know. Normally it's illegal to find such contraband but we hope she'll be willing to tell us her buyer, she's young, she still has her life ahead of her." Tsukauchi reasons.

"She was asking for it! Coming in smelling like that just as you are." Surprised, Katsumi jolts up at the voice turning to the Harpies' hungry glare glued to Katsumi eyeing her form making both detective and pro scowl at her heated crimson cheeks before dismissing it, the two of them knowing not to waste their breath.

Silent scarlet meet a pair of gold but just as the blonde is about to step forward, about to open his mouth. She turns her back to him, knowing they were both at work. The crowd was gushing over Hawks, all eyes were on him and she did not want to waste her energy on them, on that, on him, she had a job to do, she had more pressing matters to deal with than her own curiosity. So she leaves him, leaving him to clean up.

Quietly, Jiro bows her head as she sits upon the bench of the med bay turning to look over at the mummy who was tending to her form.

"Are you alright?" Surprised, Jiro jolts up at the voice, her hues widening when seeing Bombarda leaning against the side of the doorway, brow furrowing, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I…I think I get why you don't want sidekicks…" Strained, Jiro smiles shyly down at the floor below fighting back the disappointment gnawing away at her constricted chest.

"You didn't answer my question." Bombarda points out taking Jiro aback.

"Huh?" Jiro jumps up slightly.

"Are you alright?" Sternly, she questions Jiro seeing the clear concern on Bombarda.

"Um yeah I am." Jiro confirms surprisingly surprised.

"Good…Look kid you seem nice but I just…I don't think I can…not right now. I'm sorry but I just can't…" Sighing, Katsumi confesses to Jiro.

"No, no, I get it. Thank you though." Tentatively, Jiro smiles shyly at her.

"Hm?" Bombarda arches a brow.

"For giving me a chance. I learned a lot…" Jiro confesses.

"Oh…cool." Unsure, Bombarda glances to the side surprised.

"Excuse me." A man with white hair approaches.

"Oh Ed what's up?" Casually, Bombarda greets her.

"That's Ed?" Jiro's hues widen.

"This is Ed." Bombarda introduces said girl, at least she got to meet the famed Ed.

"Someone's waiting for you. They want to talk to you." Ed tells his boss.

"Right…you'll be fine going back to the dorm?" Bombarda asks Jiro.

"Y-Yeah." Jiro smiles shyly sadly even.

"Good, Ed take care of her." Bombarda gently pats his shoulder.

"Of course." Ed bows his head watching her leave.

"Thanks Ed." Bombarda nods her head at him before leaving, tending to her own work, tending to the person waiting for her.

"You know what those sorts of bars are like! There is a reason why we at admin email you about changing patrols Kane we all know the rule!" Rudely, Haneul yells at Kane making Katsumi's ruby red twitch at the two feuding furiously.

"I never did." Defensively, Kane raises his hands up in the air.

"Probably cause you never go out shopping." Snippily, Haneul crosses her arms over her chest cross.

"Look how was I to know those horn dogs would pounce on anything with legs!" Kane remarks oblivious to Tokoyami flinching from his words.

"That's enough Kane." Katsumi sternly snaps at Kane taking him aback as both sidekicks turn to the furrowed frown Katsumi striding over, looking apologetically at the bowed bird boy, sat down on a waiting chair nearby.

"But…" Kane begins but…

"Look it could have ended up worse we should be thankful it didn't." Sternly, she reminds him.

"I just…" Kane tries to argue but…

"I get it I do but right now you need to go to Jiro and apologise she was not ready for that sort of situation nor are you ready for a sidekick." Seriously, Katsumi tells Kane making him grimace at the cold curt truth of the matter.

"Tch…I know." Kane bows his head pain plastered over his facial features making Katsumi sigh.

"You may be one day." Katsumi offers optimistically only to earn a tired slow nod as Kane leaves, heading to tend to his work just as Katsumi's ruby reds narrow noting a similar shade to her own observing from afar.

"Tokoyami sorry you had to hear that." Tentatively, she calls out to the bird boy flinching from the sudden spotlight on him.

"It's alright how is Jiro?" Tokoyami asksas he reveals himself blushing when dark shadow sprouts out of him.

"Bombi it hurt! It hurt so much!" Wailing, the shadow bursts into tears bringing a small smile to Katsumi's lips Tokoyami however…

"Dark shadow! Apologies." Anxiously, the bird boy blushes his feathers ruffled up from such a display.

"Don't be. It's fine just as Jiro is. I'm just glad everyone's alright. How about you though?" Tenderly, she places her hand on dark shadow petting the shadow smiling, purring even, nuzzling into her hand as she asks him.

"I'm fine." Tokoyami tells her.

"Thank goodness…What are you doing here?" Confused, Katsumi asks, Ed had taken the two out of there sure but while he tended to Jiro, Tokoyami had headed back to the agency with Hawks or so she had assumed…

"Well…I…Hawks had asked me to come see how you are so…" Shyly, Tokoyami bows his head as she scowls immediately at his answer.

"So you're his carrier pigeon." Pointedly, she deadpans unimpressed.

"I would appreciate not being called that." Tokoyami huffs.

"Right…apologies. Look, if Hawks has a problem with me he needs to come to me he can't use you as some sort of surrogate for it." Irritated, Katsumi tells the boy almost pitying him for having to be put into this situation.

"But…" Tokoyami begins but soon falters from the hand firmly in the air swiftly silencing him.

"But nothing. Look it's sweet what you're trying to do but this is between me and Hawks we're adults we shouldn't have to involve children who have no idea what is going on." Sternly, she tells him.

"Are you two fighting?" Shyly, Tokoyami asks as Katsumi furrows her brow unable to see a small version of a child almost asking their parents that making her grimace slightly.

"I…I wouldn't say that. It's more like…Hawks is having a hissy fit." Struggling, she tries to answer.

"A hissy fit?" Frowning, Tokoyami exclaims.

"Many don't realize this but Hawks is sort of a man child he's a sweet guy but he can…he's just a bit immature sometimes. You know when a child can get overstimulated sometimes like it gets too much for them? Well when that happens you think its best to give them space to breath think all that jazz. So when Hawks is ready I'm willing to listen to understand what happened from him. And only him, no third party, no letter, no phone call face to face." Frankly, she tells Tokoyami tiredly. She still had no idea why he was avoiding her, the two needed to talk about what happened so they could move on it from it, avoiding her was only making the issue worse, such sloppy ties would affect their work which she refused to let happen.

"What did happen?" Tokoyami asks making Katsumi sigh.

"I'm afraid that's something between Hawks and me I'm afraid." Softly, she tells him, honestly, she still had no real clue as to what happened or why it happened.

"I see…" Disappointed, Tokoyami bows his head.

"Tokoyami I'm sorry you had to get involved in all this…" Tiredly, she tells him before turning on her heel about to leave to start the report but…

"Wait don't you want an explanation for the mutant's behaviour today?" Befuddle, Tokoyami asks making her stop in her steps.

"Tokoyami of course I want to hear the explanation but you shouldn't force yourself if you don't want to..." Seriously, she tells him.

"I agree but I just…I believe it to be heat…I don't know much on it since I haven't fully matured yet but…" Tokoyami begins baffling Bombarda. Heat? What was heat? She had heard it from Hawks during that time sure but…now that she thought about it Tsukauchi mentioned it as well…

"But what? Tokoyami if you could…what is heat? I keep hearing about it but I'm lost." Honestly, she confesses to the boy taking a seat by the waiting chair gesturing to the other occupied space, still lost. She supposed she should hear; it would make filing the report for today easier for her.

"Yeah it's not a topic mutants tend to talk about, especially with non-mutants." Tokoyami begins to explain.

"Why not?" Katsumi asks as she gets off the chair ordering some apple soda offering it to Tokoyami.

"It's a part of our aspect we are not proud of during certain months depending on the species of the mutant we go into…heat." Tokoyami thankful takes the soda before bowing his head ashamed almost.

"And heat is?" Unfazed, Katsumi proves.

"It…is a state of mind making the mutant search for a partner to…court or…" Nervously, the boy begins blushing.

"Breed with." Bluntly, Bombarda gathers glumly.

"Yeah…you saw what happened when that woman walked into that bar correct?" He sighs sadly.

"Yeah…" Katsumi nods her head encouraging him to continue.

"Many people believe us to not control our instincts, some can't yes but others can. It's due to this that female mutants tend to be…" Tokoyami tries to use examples but falls short stumbling slightly.

"Slut shamed." Katusmi gathers brow furrowing at the thought of a certain bunny pro hero.

"Some yes…while the men are seen as nothing more than predators. It is a struggle for mutants when they reach maturity to handle these heats so we are often having to buy suppressants to stop such instincts from controlling us however we are sensitive in this time and if we find someone who…has a certain scent, a pheromone that can attract people." Tokoyami elaborates, sipping his drink.

"And this scent was in the aphrodisiac." Katsumi assumes.

"Well yes and no it was a generic smell those already bonded would not be affected by it. It's main purpose is to ignore the heat trigger it fight against the suppressants they took." Tokoyami tells her.

"Right…so this heat makes you lot go crazy…" Candidly, Bombarda summarises.

"Depending on the situation yes the sensations are hide or fight but we try to do what we can to control it." Tokoyami confirms.

"Right then…now that's sorted you can go." Bombarda tells him.

"Are you sure?" Tokoyami exclaims.

"I'm sure. Jiro will be sent home, she is just having a last check-up then we'll have her sent back to dorms. You should go back and sign out from your agency as well. I am grateful for your aid apologies if it made you uncomfortable Tokoyami." Apologetic, Bombarda sighs.

"It's alright you were owed an explanation." Tokoyami exclaims.

"I'm still surprised I mean I never even heard of heat." Honestly, Katsumi confesses.

"It's a taboo topic and since mutants tend to seek other mutants its rare for such topics to be exposed to non-mutants." Tokoyami tells her making her furrow her brow even if that is true, surely this would be taught during lessons or something, still she had no clue…

"I see…thanks again Tokoyami. It was good to see you again. It was good to see you too. it was very sweet of you to go out of your way like that for your mentor. I also saw your moves back there you've gotten stronger." Smirking, she gently pats his shoulder making him smile shyly at the praise.

"You think so?" Tokoyami exclaims.

"I know so." Smiling, Katsumi nods her head at him watching on as he takes his leave, leaving Katsumi to her own devices.

Quietly, Tokoyami stands around Hawks office having no real clue what to say or really do. He was taken aback by Hawk calling out to him telling him to come with him where he stood now, watching on as Hawks supposedly dealt with the man and woman wearing suits, a scarlet shimmer to her cheeks.

"So we believe you…" Smiling, the woman bows slightly trying to show off certain assets as she shows his model pictures, showing a fair few pieces of merchandise about to be dispensed while Tokoyami furrows his brow, seeing the hungry look in the glinting gleams of the woman supposedly trying to show Hawks his next move for the public but said boy doesn't even bat an eye to her. He lies sideways, flat on his sofa, staring up at the screen above him, Tokoyami's ruby reds narrow noting the touch screen showing a fair few photos of a familiar brunette.

Tokoyami's ruby reds soften slightly when seeing the sad smile upon Hawk's lips staring sadly up at the screen showing one of a familiarly brute sipping some slushie as he winks at the camera, his arm draped over her however his thumb covers the screen as he looks sadly at the picture, almost in another world. He soon switches screen to what looks like a long chat seeing Hawk's fingertips hesitate upon the keys but stops himself. Tokoyami couldn't help but notice how different the phone was to the one he used prior. This phone he had with the photos looked more modern than the other older phone he had on during patrol today. However, Tokoyami snaps out of his thoughts as he watches the hesitating bird boy plops the phone down on his chest, sighing making the others opposite him perk up at him.

"Hey Tokoyami, nice work today." Hawks turns to Tokoyami making said bird boy jolt up at his voice turning to see Hawk arise from his sofa.

"Hey Hawks!" One of the men in black call out but…

"Come on kid let's go get some fresh air." Aloofly, he dismisses the girl and boy behind him, turning his focus to Tokoyami taking the others aback.

"Hawks where are you going?" The woman demands from the blonde but bird boy ignores her.

"A bird's gotta stretch their wings once in a while." Hawks smirks smugly stretching, sauntering over to the window.

"But Hawks…" Annoyed, the woman stands from her seat scowling.

"Hey Tokoyami. C'mere." Hawks gestures to Tokoyami joining him by the window.

"What is it?" Tokoyami questions confused, he had hoped to leave, he was currently in his uniform about to leave until Hawks had asked him to join him.

"I'll treat you to a little night flight." Smiling, Hawks suddenly grabs the boys baffling everyone in the room as Tokoyami could hear the panicked voices of the man and women in suits screaming, screeching, shouting at him to stop but it falls to deaf ears as next thing Tokoyami knew…

"H-Hawks! We've become one with the wind!" Tokoyami says stunned shocked staring down at the glinting gleaning tall towers of buildings below them as he finds himself soaring through the air. He could feel the brisk breeze flow through him as he was soaring through the air.

"Is this your first time flying?" Curious, Hawks arches a brow bemused by the stunned shocked, scared even bird boy. A small smirk crosses his lips almost amused by the boy below him.

"By the way the other 30% was because looking at you made me think man Tokoyami's wasting a lot of his potential. You see the sky is a great place you can get a bird's eye view of everything." Hawks continues on taking Tokoyami's silence as an answer as next he knew, he was gently on top of a tall towering building, a skyscraper of some sort. Briefly, Tokoyami took note of the fleeting figure of a familiar agency seeing a familiar brunette rushing around much to Tokoyami's surprise seeing the clear concern on the stern stoic mask of her firm furrowed facial features, looking like she's on a warpath before rushing off out of the scene, rushing out of the office building heading off to who knows where…

"I'm not especially interested in nurturing the next generation or anything but…if you've got wings you should stretch them out and fly." Firmly, Hawks tells him plopping Tokoyami down on the top of the tower as he too joins Tokoyami side looking over at the city.

"What do you mean when you say I'm wasting my potential?" Perplexed, Tokoyami asks him.

"It's great that you're putting in the effort to cover your weak points like short distance combat but you shouldn't neglect improving on your strong points either. You're capable of moving more freely look…take it from a fellow bid. There's no need for you to be confined to the ground." Resolved, Hawks tells Tokoyami whose ruby reds widen when hearing his words, a still silence hanging heavily between both pro and hero in training taking the pro's words into account, into consideration, considering his next phase of improvement.

*So...what did you think of this chapter? I thought some spotlight on the agency was needed, what did you think of Jiro's dynamic with Kane or the dynamics between Bombarda and her mates, heck what did you think of Bomabrda with Jiro, Tokoyami and Hawks? Would love to know your thoughts down below for this chapter!*
