Okay. everyone. Here's the newest chpt to the story. The chpts will be longer than some where a few will be short, which I am famos for on here. Writing short chpts. LOL. Anyway, on with the story.

Since the destruction of The Thunder Plains, no one knew what the next very second might hold. Everyone kept a constant glance over their own shoulder. The events that unfolded even dumbfounded Spira's wiz kid and that never happened very often. Shinra's been doing research since the event took place, however, his search has been done in vain. Yuna has acted strange since then. Rikku and Paine have noticed the small change as well, but failed to bring it forth to Yuna. Why did these recent event happen? What and who caused them?

A day has nearly gone by since the Thunder Plains were destroyed. Shinra's still doing research and Yuna is not herself.

Shinra slammed both his fists down upon his keyboard. "Never in the history of Spira has this happened!"

"Has Spira's greatest wiz kid fallen?" Buddy teased.

"That's not funny!" Shinra stated firmly as he turned his chair around, got up and took a few steps forth. "Where exactly did that water drake come from? Why did it appear? And why is the Thunder Plains a body of water?"

"Who knows?" Paine said.

"Let's not forget what happened in Guadosalom." Rikku reminded Shinra.

"Right." Shinra stated as he then sighed. "The dead returned to Spira, then the Thunder Plains was turned into the Thunder Sea."

"It's be more less like a lake, wouldn't it?" Rikku suggested.

"Don't mock me!" Shinra said as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Thunder Plains, Thunder Lake. . . who cares!" Paine said flatly. "Let's find a conclusion here."

"That's not going to be an easy task to achieve." Yuna spoke up and said and everyone turned her way. "I get the feeling this is only the beginning to even bigger things to come."

Meanwhile, beyond the heart of the Farplane where the dimension of souls dwell, a certain someone is not willing to just stand by and watch certain events unfold.

A discussion's going on between certain souls as they try and come to an agreement on what should be done.

"We can't just stand by and do nothing." Lenne stated. "But what can we do? We're not of that world anymore."

"I agree. Something has to be done, but what?" Shuyin asked.

"Yuna called out to me with her heart." Tidus stated. "That gave me enough power to go to her, however, rendered me totally weak once I returned here."

"That I recall." Lenne said.

"As do I!" came a voice from within the mist that surrounded them. "If you choose to help this mortal, you risk the destruction of your very soul!"

"Who's there!" Shuyin demanded to know.

"Show yourself!" Tidus shouted.

The voice just cackled loudly. "You cannot defeat me. You are powerless to stop me! You three are just mere shadows of your formal selves. What could you possibly do?"

"Better for us to know and you to never find out." Lenne said sarcastically.

"Such childish behavior." the voice stated plainly. "Lets see what you think when my next elemental fiend takes out your so called friend."

"NO!" Tidus shouted as the voice vanished as quickly as it appeared.

"We have to do something!" Lenne said sharply. "We have to warn Yuna."

"But how!" Shuyin asked

Lenne rubbed her chin as an idea quickly came to her. "A vision!" Tidus and Shuyin narrowed their eyes a bit as they looked at each other then back at Lenne.

Meanwhile, back on the Celsius, the group of friends are still discussing the events that had occurred.

Everyone continued to talk amongst themselves as the alarm then began to go off.

"Something's up, Gullwings!" Buddy stated as YRP gathered around him. "It's Dona."

"Oy!" Rikku said in disgust.

"She wants to see Yuna on the double." Buddy said.

"What's going on?" Yuna asked.

"Seems that the temper is rising there at a drastic level. No one can explain it, but there are rumors." Buddy said

"Rumors?" Rikku questioned.

"Rumors of a returned aeon." Buddy said.

Yuna gasped. "An aeon? Ifrit?"

"Let's go!" Paine said as the Celsius was then put in high gear towards Kilika.

Moments later. . .

"When we arrived in Kilika, the temperature there was at a deathly level. I couldn't believe that anyone was still alive. Dona certainly had a lot to say once we got there and what I heard I couldn't believe, but little did we know that it was far from what we were to encounter."

"And now, someone has rumored that Kilika's own aeon has returned from the dead to destroy us all." Dona stated. "Who got this foolish nonsense started I don't know, but it's utterly uncalled for." She then sighed. "I am beginning to question the situation myself. The sudden rise in the temperature is- -"

Barthello came brawling inside, nearly falling down in front of Dona who placed her hands upon her hips as she shifted her weight to her right side.

"Magma!" Barthello nearly shouted. "It's pouring out of the temple."

"Say what?" Rikku asked.

"Have you been eating loco weed again, Barthello!" Dona snapped.

Barthello lowered his head in shame at the accusation Dona had just made. "Dona!" Dona just sighed as she shook her head.

"We'll look into it." Yuna said.

"We will?" Rikku asked.

"Let's get this over with." Paine said as they all then headed for the temple.

The journey to the temple wasn't what they expected, for no fiends attacked them along they way, which they found to be very strange, however, as they climbed the stairs, they were appalled at the sight that awaited them.

YRP gasps in unison as they gazed upon the magma, which slowly oozed from any and all openings in the temple, however, it suddenly increased in depth and speed as the top of the temple then exploded. Magma spewed out and over all as it rained down. The ground began to quiver and shake violently as magma began to spewed everywhere.

There, from the midst of the temple and from within the depths of the magma, a mightyWyvern slowly protruded through the surface as hot magma dripped from its body. Slithering its forked tongue between its jagged teeth, the Wyvern opened its mouth very slowly only to let out a breath of fire that swept across Kilika woods like a plague. Fire engulfed the tree tops as it began to encircle YRP.

"Any ideas?" Rikku asked in a sarcastic, nervous manner.

"None!" Paine said flatly as the flames nearly engulf them.

The people of Kilika could see the flames of fury as it neared the town itself. . .

Magma dripped from the Wyvern's mere flesh as its colors began to show through all. With a magenta body, a crimson face and yellow eyes, this dragon would torch anyone or anything that it touched. With a breath of fire, it could burn down a valley within a matter of minutes.

The forest of Kilika has been nearly demolished as the fire rises high and the heat from the flames make many fall to their knees and few have already met certain doom.

As the magma continued to drip from the Wyvern's body, its wings surfaced through all and the drake soon took flight. YRP looked around them as the flames came nearer by the second. Yuna looked to the sky as the Wyvern caught her eye and her eyes widen as she watched it fly towards the village.

Upon flying over the village, screams are heard from the townspeople as they captured the sight of the fire drake, which released a breath of fire upon all below as it circled around and then headed back for the temple. The village quickly caught fire, which spread rapidly. The homes came crashing down as many ran from certain danger.

Flying high, theWyvern hovered over the burning inferno below as it then began to build energy. A hue of a golden orb began to build, increasing in size as the Wyvern slowly opened it mouth. As the sky turned a blood crimson, the orb of gold turned to ebony as it transformed into a mist of fire, which rushed upon all below like a gust of wind.

Cries and screams are heard as the townspeople feel their very flesh burn where several burst into nothing but a pile of ashes. A hue of fire swept across all of Kilika, which cascaded a deathly ray of heat. Kilika would soon cease to exist unless this Wyvern's flames of fury are put to rest.

Meanwhile, beyond the heart of the Farplane where the dimension of souls dwell, the specter is more than pleased with what her Gatekeeper'sWyvern had accomplished within a matter of minutes.

An evil cackle echoes throughout the Realm Of Souls. . .

"Burn, baby!" The specter said as evil laughter came from deep within her. "BURN!" As she extended her arms out from her, she began to levitate in the air. And as her feet left the ground, what appeared to be flesh eating maggots fell all around as they crawled around in search of fresh flesh to feast upon. An orb of an ebony hue began to grow from behind her. Her ebony locks flowed in the air as the energy grew from the orb. "Come forth, souls of the nonliving! You're presence is no longer needed there! Come to this sanctuary where you can live on for all of eternity!

A hue of pearl grew midst the orb of ebony as pyerflies began to gather within and all around this specter.
