Hello I do not own any of William ShakespearÕs characters this is only based off of HamletÕs feelings from the play Hamlet, enjoy and peace lovers of stories and poems!
Ho! What treachery fate hath befallen upon me.
How twisted and deformed is destiny.
Tis a cruel world,
Though crueler yet, is the world we do not see.
Ophelia, dear Ophelia, poor Ophelia,
No longer shall thy cheeks flush from the ecstasy of life,
No more shall thy sweet voice speak of heavens,
For thou art gone.
Down among the worms and maggots thy body lies,
Asleep in a slumber of that called death.
Yet still I feel thy presence,
What is this woman's spell thou hath cast upon me?
'Twas a fair day when thee flew away,
The gurgling stream, the tickling breeze, yet I wonder,
Were there thoughts in thy mind as the water bore thee down,
What song did thy sing as thy spirit received its wings?
A crown of flowers may quickly die,
Yet so does one of gold when poison is arise.
Deception consumes, destroys, conquers all,
Pray tell me when, the violets bloom.
My passion, my pine for revenge,
Hath destroyed thee and my purpose.
Too quick was I to curse thee, to shatter thee,
To condemn thee to a short life of eternal misery.
What can I say of love and its meaning to me,
For where there is love there is always agony.
Death shall now be my mistress,
Until the day we unite my blessed, doomed Ophelia.
So how was it horrible? amazing well I hope it at least was readable this is my first work . It was an english project and I have no idea what grade I got but if you guys like it then it cant be bad sincerly giggle!
