Silva children could be everything these days. Angels, loud brats, mischievous ones, quiet ones, basically anything. But if there were children that most servants would rather not being left alone with, it was the triplets of lady Nebra and lord Zora.

At least two of them, but the last one was maybe the worst one to babysit and not because that child was a little devil.

"Lady Gwendolyn, stop climbing the ancestral Silva curtains!" an old nanny squealed, almost fainting as she discovered a little six-year-old girl with light pink hair clinging on curtains in a dark, ugly blue. And that girl was already very high up.

"Lord Zoro, please, that shield is not a skateboard," a younger nanny whined, as a redhead boy attempted to slide down some stairs on a very old shield, which probably dated from the time of the Silvamillions.

In the meantime, a third nanny looked under and behind furniture, into very corner, even in a vase, in a rather desperate attempt to find something. Or someone.

The loud ripping of cloth was to hear and the little girl on the curtains was now on the floor, a huge part of ripped of curtains all around her. But she seemed unharmed, because she jumped on her feet again and yelled, "Geez, those ugly curtains always rip off for nothing! When will uncle Nozel buy some new ones who could me hold better?"

"Lady Gwendolyn, no," the old nanny whined, as said Gwendolyn began to climb on the left curtain this time.

WHOOOOOOOOOOSH

"Hey, this was fun, let's do this again!" Zoro screamed with joy, as he landed below the stairs. He looked unharmed… unlike the shield he used as a skateboard.

"Lord Zoro…", the young nanny sighed, too close to faint to even find another counter argument.

"Imogen, Amelia! This is so horrible! I can't find lady Nereïda anywhere!" the third nanny said in panic, giving up her search.

"My dear Letitia, I wouldn't stress too much about it," the young nanny replied, not losing a very euphoric Zoro out of her sight. "That triplet is calm and not a troublemaker like her siblings, she's probably fine. Now, if you would please help me with lord Zoro-"

"No, Amelia. I know that you're new, but our duty as royal nannies is to take care of and watch over the royal children, even the Silvas" Imogen argued, while Gwendolyn fell down on the floor again… with the other curtain. "Just because lady Nereïda is quieter than her siblings doesn't mean that she's easier to watch over. And that girl has this habit of appearing and disappearing out of nowhere! Like she's a ghost! Oh dear, lady Nereïda reminds me a lot her grandmother, may she rest in peace. Lady Acier also often disappeared out of nowhere and then reappeared, after she had enough of wandering off."

Nanny Imogen was one of the oldest royal nurses within the three royal castles, she even had been the Primary Royal Nanny of Acier Silva and her younger sister Océane in her youth. So, she had a lot of experience, even though she came often at her limits when it came to the Silva triplets. Letitia also had been in the job for quite a time, she was just new when lady Acier died and lord Nozel joined the Silver Eagles. As for Amelia, she was indeed a newbie, being there for not even a year.

"You really need to be a Silva to handle those triplets," Letitia whined. "Ah, if only lord Zora or lady Nebra could finally come home, so that they could care about their children again and release us."

"Isn't it weird, though? Every Silva parents are actually raising their children alone, we're only on shift when they're all gone. Same for most Vermillions. Most of our full-time shifts are only coming from house Kira. The current Silvas don't even have Primary Royal Nannies!"

"Which isn't such a bad thing, Amelia," Imogen replied, while glancing at Gwendolyn and Zoro, just in case. "I know, I'm old and a bit old-fashioned on some topics, but this change of royal parents taking care a lot of their children is a change that is nice to see. Unusual, but still nice to see. And after what lord Nozel and lady Vanessa had to battle for lady Aimée, it would have been cruel to not let them raise their daughter."

"I know, but-"

Amelia couldn't continue, as a horrible smell popped in her nose, making her squeal.

Zora and Gwendolyn stopped their troublemaking to turned around. A big grin appeared on their faces as they recognize a familiar stinkbug on nanny Amelia's face.

"Daddy's back!" they yelled and ran towards the man who just entered the room.

Zora snickered as he catch them, even though there was a paternal softness in his eyes. Gwendolyn and Zoro were troublemakers, but they were his children and he loved them so much.

"Good evening, lord Zora," the three nannies greeted him devotion, making a reverence. Zora almost rolled his eyes. Even after years of being married to royalty and being a royal himself, he still wasn't really used to be treated that way. But well, he shouldn't complain, his braided brother-in-law was looking closely to give house Silva a more open-minded status. No wonder, after the whole drama involving Aimée when she was just a baby.

Indeed, which royal house and even noble house had ALL parents raising their children themselves, only calling for nannies once in a while?

"What catastrophes this time?" Zora asked, as usual.

"Two of the ancestral Silva curtains were ripped off due to lady Gwendolyn climbing on it."

Zora almost replied that those weren't ancestral Silva curtains, but some that his jerk of a father-in-law had brought with him after just getting back from honeymoon and that Nozel, Nebra, Solid and Noelle would be really happy to get rid of. But he wouldn't, nanny Imogen was just doing her job and watching over his triplets was exhausting.

"Lord Zoro was playing skateboard on the stairs with an ancestral shield, probably from the time of the Silvamillions."

"Our stairs had worse than that," Zora replied, still stunned how solid those were, even after the many times his six-year-old son already skated on it. As for the shield, he didn't really care, it was a very old thing after all. But Nozel might be not so pleased. Well, maybe they could still pretend that the shield belonged to the Kiras and not the Silvas?

"And we can't find lady Nereïda anywhere."

"Well, don't worry about her. You all know by now that she won't cause any trouble. Now, take your evening, you deserved it."

He might still not be used to be treated as a royal, but acting on it, that Zora actually came to enjoy.

The three nannies made another reverence, before leaving, looking very relieved. Zora almost felt bad to have thrown a rainbow stinkbug at the youngest, but he had to stop before the conversation might have turned on a topic he didn't like. It's been ten years, but some people were still surprised that Nozel acted the way he did during this whole bastard drama. And even though Zora still loved to make fun on his brother-in-law, Nozel was also his family today and he wouldn't allow anyone to speak badly of him.

"Okay, you two, what have mum and I already told you about making trouble?"

"To not overdo it and to be careful."

"And you call that careful?" Zora asked, pointing at the curtains and the very damaged shield. "We already talked about climbing and skating in the palace, not to mention that mum already gave you tricks how to do those hobbies of yours without cause damage."

"But it takes time to learn them," Gwendolyn and Zoro protested, pouting, which made Zora laugh. He couldn't help but look at them with pride and affection.

Gwendolyn had pink messy hair and Nebras pink eyes, for which she quickly given the nickname Cotton Candy. And just because of that nickname, she became Charmys favourite.

Zoro got his red hair and purple eyes, mix of Zoras own eye colour and Nebras. Sadly, he seemed to start to braid his hair, which wasn't of Zoras liking, of course. But knowing his son, he probably learned it only because dad was against. Typical, Zoro probably got that from Nebra.

Of course Zora loved them, but those two were really a handful.

"Gwen, you're lucky that those curtains came from your jerk gramps, otherwise I don't think mum would be happy about it. And Zoro, I'm not really concerned for the stairs, but the shield was apparently very old and as you can see, it didn't handled very well being used as a skateboard. Your uncle probably won't be so happy about it."

Zoro flinched. Yes, seriously angering Nozel wasn't something his triplets would like to do.

Just at this moment, Nebra came home. "Geez, what happened this time- Oops!"

And of course, Nebra walked into a small table, breaking the vase on it in the process.

"Mum broke a vase! Mum broke a vase! Mum broke a vase! Mum broke a vase!"

"You don't need to repeat it, my sweet troublemakers. Besides, it belonged to your jerk of a grandfather and I hated my whole life, so it's not a loss. As for my first question, don't answer it, I can imagine what happened… again."

It was difficult to say if Nebra was actually proud or done. Knowing his royal wife, Zora was ready to bet that she was both.

"I already scold them, but there's still something I need to ask your children."

"Oh, so they're only my children now? Actually, you came home first and you scolded them already, so they are your children."

Zora just snickered. They always that kind of conversation when the triplets – or more accurately, Gwendolyn and Zoro – caused trouble. It was funny, but Zora was also mostly relieved that they agreed on not having more potential troublemakers. Three at once was already a lot and the birth of the triplets hadn't been easy for Nebra.

Turning back to Gwendolyn and Zora, Zora asked, "And now, the most important thing, where's is your sister?"

"No idea," Zoro replied and Gwendolyn added, "Nereïda just disappeared suddenly, like she always do and except her bedroom or uncle Nozels office, I don't know where she can be."

"I'm right here."

Both parents and siblings flinched heavily before turning around, even though that voice was soft and quiet. Of course, because it was Nereïdas voice.

And there she was, the last of the triplets, soft silky silver hair, a bit wavy, beautiful deep blue eyes and smaller than her triplets. Right now, smiling softly at her parents and holding a book in her hands. Nereïda, more than Gwendolyn and Zoro, always had been so eager to learn to read so young already and she was too cute for anyone to refuse her wish.

"Mum, Dad, welcome home," Nereïda softly said, smiling at her parents.

"I will probably never understand how you managed to scare us like this without even trying," Nebra laughed, before she took Nereïda in her arms, while Zora did the same with the other two. "Okay, it's almost time for dinner, who's hungry?"

"Me!" Zoro and Gwendolyn yelled, while Nereïda only nodded. A very typical reaction from the triplets. Zora snickered.

They were a family of two troublemakers – four counting Nebra and himself – and one ghost, but despite the difficulties and troubles, Zora wouldn't change any of it. Nebra, Gwendolyn Zoro and Nereïda were so important for him.
