Chapter 18- What are you talking about?

MG did what he was told, he searched for Hope's blood in the fridge, and it was where Caroline had said it would be, right at the very back, concealed behind all the others, honestly if you didn't know what you were looking for, you probably wouldn't find it. The handwriting was very small and delicate, if you didn't have super vision then you probably wouldn't even be able to read it or even see it was there in the first place. MG debated on whether he should vamp-speed back or walk back. On one hand he wanted to help find Lizzie as soon as possible but on the other hand he knew that Hope needed the rest. After a few seconds on internal debate, he decided to walk back, he wanted Hope to have as much rest as possible because he knew what was coming and he was scared.

MG returned to Josie with the blood bags in hand, he hesitated slightly before he tried to hand them to Josie. "Thanks MG." Josie smiled weakly. "So, the plan is, I'm going to wake Hope up from her mind palace, she might become very aggressive due to the pain and blood loss, so you are going to need to try and keep her pinned down until she's had at least a bag and a half of blood." Josie took the blood bags and placed them on the table next to her.

"I don't know if I will be able to keep her pinned down for that long, she's a lot stronger than me and I've only been feeding off animal blood… I don't know if I can do this." MG replied.

"You'll be fine MG, she's very weak at the minute because of all the blood that she has lost. You've got this."

"Why can't your mom do this? She's a lot stronger than me and she has more experience dealing with Hope that I do." MG wavered.

"MG… You've got this!" Josie hissed, getting annoyed with MG's wavering confidence. "I thought you were meant to be part of the super squad or something like that?"

"Yeah, you're right, I can do this… I can do this." MG whispered to himself. "Okay I'm ready."

Josie moved closer to MG and took a deep breath as she started to syphon from him. After a few long seconds she waved her hand and muttered something under her breath. "Now MG." Josie exclaimed.

MG rushed over to Hope's side as she woke up screaming through the pain. MG pinned Hope down as much as he could as she fought underneath him. Josie grabbed the blood bags off the table and started to feed them to Hope. Her screams quickly subsided as the blood started to enter her system. MG was surprised at how quickly her wounds were beginning to heal. He knew vampires healed quickly on human blood, but he has never witnessed how quickly tribrid blood works, yes there was that one time where he bit that werewolf by accident, and they had to use Hope's blood then, but it took him a few days to fully recover. This… this was something else. MG was kind of mesmerised by it all.

It wasn't until Hope was halfway through her last bag of blood before she looked at MG and said, "you know, you can get off me now."

"Oh sorry." MG apologised and shuffled off Hope's now fully healed body. Hope pushed herself up into a seated position on the floor.

"Did Caroline tell you what happened when she visited me?" Hope asked Josie who was kneeling next to her.

"Yeah, she mentioned something about a mausoleum in the cemetery, she wants me and Penelope to do a locator spell to see if we can narrow it down. She's gone to… I don't actually know where she's gone…" Josie trailed off; she shook her head before she spoke again. "I guess I need to go and find Penelope."

"No need, I'm right here love." Penelope appeared hold a large black bag. She dropped it on the floor near the door before walking across the room to join Hope, Josie and MG. "Hey Hope, how are you feeling?"

"Like shit… but that's to be expected. I'm just ready to have Lizzie back now." Hope deflated.

"Well let's see if we can do something about. Caroline came to me not long after she left you, I guess. I've got your spell book, and I gathered most of the ingredients that we needed. The only thing that is missing is something to links the two people together. That can either be Josie and Lizzie or Hope and Lizzie. Whichever you think will create the strongest bond between you." Penelope finished. She knelt on the floor next to Josie and pulled her into a hug, Josie froze for a second before she collapsed into Penelope's embrace. Penelope could tell that Josie was trying to hold everything together, she usually does.

"I have a necklace that Lizzie gave me, I think it belonged to your bio-mom? That should work." Hope took the necklace from around her neck and passed it over to Josie. Josie ran her fingers over the necklace and smiled slightly.

"Yeah, this should do it." Josie nodded as she folded her fingers around the jewellery, as if she was trying to protect it from any harm or damage.

Hope smiled at Josie and in an unwavering voice said, "We are going to get Lizzie back even if it kills me." Penelope started the locator spell but there was no indication of where Lizzie is. Usually the locator spells work, there shouldn't be a reason why nothing is coming up. Hope started to grow impatient and angry with Penelope. "Are you even doing this right?!" Hope barked.

"Yes Hope, I know how to do a locator spell, I've done them loads of times before. Maybe it's your negative energy that is throwing it off!" Penelope groaned.

"Don't start that shit with me Penelope! It's your fault that we are in this situation in the first place! You and your stupid coven!" Hope retorted.

"Hope! You need to calm down, getting this angry isn't going to help anyone, especially Lizzie!" Josie jumped in, she hated when people started fighting. Josie wanted Lizzie back as much as anyone else, but she knew that arguing wasn't going to solve anything. "Hope, just take a breath, clear your head and we will try this again. A locator spell isn't that difficult. We know that there are only two reasons why the spell won't work. It's either…" Josie trailed off, feeling ashamed of what has to be said.

"She's dead. That's what you were going to say weren't you… I know you were… Lizzie isn't dead. I would know if Lizzie were dead." Hope grunted, finally standing up and started to pace around the room.

"Right so Lizzie isn't dead… and the other reason why a locator spell won't work is that there is a charm on her, protecting her, keeping her from being detected." Josie replied.

"There might actually be a third reason as well…" Penelope chimed in. The room fell silent. Hope, Josie and MG all stopped in their tracks and stared at Penelope.

"What are you talking about?" Josie stuttered.

Penelope took a deep breath, closed her eyes and said, "Prison world."

When Lizzie came too, it was dark. She struggled against the chains that were holding her in place. "Fuck! Where am I?" She muttered. Her eyes had almost adjusted to the darkness when her eyes caught a slither of light in the corner of the room. She looked around the room to try and find something, anything that could help her break free but all she could see what a tomb in the middle of the room. Lizzie pressed her and against the floor and tried her hardest to syphon it, but there was nothing, not one single drop of magic within the stones. "Looks like you've got to do this the hard way." She muttered as she started to bang her feet on the floor, hoping that the chains will start to loosen with every hit.

After what seemed like forever, the chains loosened enough for the blonde to remove right foot out of the restraints. "Fuck me, I know I said I wanted to spice up my love life, but I don't know chains are that I want." She laughed to herself. If she didn't laugh, then she might have cried. With the foot now free, she used as leverage to be able to kick the chains from her other leg and surely enough after about five minutes of trying, her other leg was free as well. With a sigh of relief, the tall blonde rolled forwards onto her knees and pushed herself up to standing.

The only problem now was the chains still tied around her stomach with her arms pinned behind her. When Lizzie stood up, she could feel something resting against the small of her back. It was cold and hard, it felt strange? With her hands tied in such a way that she couldn't manoeuvre them to feel it. Lizzie looked around the room again to try and find something that could help identify it. There was nothing like a mirror, just walls and a tomb. "Well good thing there isn't a mirror, I bet I look like shit right now." Lizzie huffed. She continued to scour the room but ultimately ended up using the wall.

Lizzie positioned herself against the wall and pressed the object into her back. It was so cold that it made the tall blonde jump slightly as it pressed against her skin. Lizzie composted herself and tried again. It was kind of rectangular, but kind of not? She thought. It took her a few minutes to realise that it was indeed a padlock. "God, why am I so stupid?" She grunted. "Who even uses a padlock these days?" Lizzie shook her head and moved over to the tomb. As she approached it, it immediately sent her flying into a wall, knocking her out.

After a few hours, Lizzie came to. The room was bright, and it hurt her eyes when she tried to open them. She kept them closed as she grunted and groaned, pushing herself into a seated position and started to rub her head. She startled herself when she realised that her hands are now free. "Seriously, what the fuck is going on?!" Lizzie groaned. As she slowly stood up, she could feel all her bones cracking. She rolled her shoulders back and stretched out her arms. It felt good to stretch, in what felt like days chained up. Lizzie looked around and realised she wasn't in the tomb any longer, but she was in the Old Mill.
