In a snowy forest near a wooden cabin (a copy of the cabin that Kratos and Atreus calls home in God of War (2018)) a young man of twenty was chopping wood for a fire.
He is 7 feet and six inches tall. he has blonde straw hair in a Viking Mohawk and a friendly Mutton Chops beard, he has striking pale blue eyes, he has a low forehead, he is barrel chested, he has thick arms, he is very muscular, and he has broad feet. He is currently wearing a navy-blue tunic, baggy cargo pants, short elk leather boots, an elk leather belt, and elk leather gauntlets
This is Njal Christensen the demigod son of Thor the Norse Æsir god of Thunder.
Njal upon seeing he has enough firewood for now, sets asides the axe and brings the wood into his cabin. After placing the wood down he takes a deep sip of ale.
"Ahhh!" He lets out after drinking. When he hears knocking on his door.
"That's weird. Who can that be?" Njal questions as he goes to answer it. Upon opening it he says a stranger as he says, "Hello?"
The Stranger has average height and has an extremely lean, hard physique. His build is unique, as it makes him seem small in comparison to the other male gods in the series, who are generally of towering height and sport broad, heavily muscled builds. His most striking features are his woad-blue tattoos of Norse runes, which coat large portions of his limbs and torso and his eyes, which are distinctly icy blue.
He has handsome (if haggard) features, with a beaded but unkempt brownish beard and a shaggy, beaded horse-mane hairstyle. He wears a red belt, a hip pouch, and a thin string of charms over a torn brown waistcloth sash, which is worn over loose, black cloth pants, bound at the calves with brown leather straps. He wears no top and no shoes.
"I thought you'd be bigger... but you're definitely the one..." The Stranger said. "Long way from home, aren't you?"
"What do you want?" Njal asks.
"Oh, you already know the answer to that." The Stranger said.
"What makes you think that idiot?" Njal questions.
"Do you know who I am?" The Stranger demands a little angerly.
"No. Why should I care about you?" Njal questions
"I am Baldur the Æsir god of light. Son of Odin and someone you shouldn't piss off." The now named Baldur said.
"You say you are one of the Æsir huh?" Njal questions before giving Baldur a mocking smile. "I see no deity before me only a dog so run back to your masters."

"You shouldn't have said that." Baldur said darkly before throwing a devastatingly haymaker at Njal face. It connects and throws him through the back wall of the cabin and deep into a rock.
"That's the best you got?" Njal questions getting out of the rock and wiping some blood off his chin. "Cause that barely tickled."
"I'm just getting started." Baldur said as he speeds towards Njal and launches another haymaker, but Njal catches it with his left hand.
"My turn." Njal said giving Baldur his own haymaker coated in lightning that throws Baldur away into some trees.
"Nice try." Baldur said getting up. "But I can't feel pain."
"So, even this version of you has it." Njal mutters quietly as he pulls out his sword the Ashbringer. Baldur slams his hands on the ground and lightning erupts from him before it goes towards Njal.
"Full Counter!" Njal calls out as the lightning was reflected back to Baldur at twice the power. It hits him but because of his curse it didn't do anything.
"I'd hoped that you, of everyone I'd faced, would finally make me feel something. But you can't." Baldur said disappointed.
"So, Who are you?" Baldur asks wanting to know his opponent's name.
"I am Njal Christensen. I am from a different universe. I am also a demigod son of the Thor from that universe." Njal said informing Baldur about himself.
"What!?" Baldur questions in shock. Njal quickly does an oath that what he said was true.
"So you are a version of my brother's son." Baldur said trying to come to terms with that.
"Yes." Njal said nodding.
"So, why are you here in my reality?" Baldur asks wondering why he was here.
"I like to try to different worlds to try and fight strong opponents, eat good food, and drink some good drinks." Njal said jovially before he grew a serious look.
"Do you want to break your curse?" Njal asks Baldur. Baldur looks at his nephew from a different reality.
"I do more then anything in the nine realms." Baldur said wanting to be able to feel again.
"I know how to break it, but you need to swear a binding oath to not go after your mother Frig and never try to kill her unless in self-defense." Njal said as he has a bad feeling that Baldur will go after his mother after his curse is broken.
Baldur weights his options. On one hand he would be free from his curse, and he would be free to feel again. On the other hand not being able to get his revenge on his mother for casting this curse on him which causes his not being able to feel in the first place. Decisions, decisions.
"What the Hel? I will agree if you throw in a good fight, good food, and good drinks if we ever happened to meet again and I desire it." Baldur said.
"The fight I can easily promise but the other two might be hard to come by." Njal said knowing that somethings getting good food and good drinks can be tough.
"Then promise for the fight at least." Baldur said.
"Sure." Njal said before swearing the oath. Baldur then swears his oath to never go after his mother and to never try to kill her unless in self-defense.
"It's mistletoe. Just get some mistletoe and pierce your skin with it." Njal said.
"Are you serious?" Baldur questions in disbelief.
"Yes. Apparently when Frigg places her spell on you she didn't include mistletoe as it was too young to cause you any harm at the time." Njal said as he saw some mistletoe. He went to grab it with a snap.
"Give me your hand." Njal asks holding his hand that doesn't have the mistletoe in it out. Baldur does so.
"This may hurt." Njal said as he quickly pierces Baldur's hand with the mistletoe causing his hand to start bleeding and blue flakes of light to come off of him.
"What is this? I can feel this... I can feel everything!" Baldur exclaims laughing out loud in immense joy of having his curse broken and being able to feel again.
"I'm glad you're free now. Ready to eat and drink to your heart's content?" Njal asks bringing out everything he would need to make a grand feast.
"Hel yeah!" Baldur cheers in excitement at being able to taste again.
