AN: Hey everyone, Before we get started I wanted to thank everyone once more for your continued support and loyalty. I was very excited to see new people joining the discord over the past few days. I just wanted to let you know the harem is undetermined in number at this time, so please vote for any and all ladies you like. I also wanted to give you a heads up that even if some characters have a high amount of votes they might not get into the harem due to OCs. There will be a LOT of OCs in this. I plan on doing something I have not really seen before in fanfics so hopefully it will work out!

Chapter 0: Prologue
The sound of waves moving in and out along with the tides could be heard. A warm summer breeze flowed across the beach, like water flowed through rivers. Seagulls could be heard, eagerly searching for their next meal. Crabs crawled into small tide pools to hide from any predators. It was peaceful. More peaceful than it had been in years. One could hope that it would last forever…
"Daddy!" A small voice filled with excitement called out. A young girl, most likely no older than 6, was running across the beach. She had on a one piece swimsuit with frills that flowed in the wind. She had bright blue eyes and black hair. The most peculiar thing was.. she had pointy ears and her skin was slightly tinted blue.
The man she was running to, presumably her father, turned to her and smiled brightly. He was handsome, one could almost mistake him for a god. He had a chiseled jaw, high cheekbones, and shining emerald eyes. His unruly black hair danced with the summer wind, unable to be kept down. A small amount of stubble covered his neck and chin. His tan, chiseled body gleaming in the sunlight. He appeared to be in his late twenties, though it was impossible to tell exactly how old he was. All he wore was a pair of blue swim trunks with palm trees on them.
"Elisa ,what is it?" The man asked, a look of absolute adoration in his eyes as the child jumped into his arms.
"Daddy ,look what I found!" She excitedly said, opening her hand. A bright white pearl sat in the middle of her palm. It was about the size of a marble, and perfectly spherical.
"Where did you find that?" The man asked curiously, still examining the pearl in her hand.
"In the water over there." She said, pointing towards a pile of rocks where a tide pool resided. The man smiled in response and gingerly took the pearl from her hand, holding it up in the sunlight.
"It's beautiful…" The man murmured, gaining a wistful look in his eyes.
"Daddy?" The girl asked, staring up at him. He looked down at her, a sad gleam in his eyes.
"It's nothing, baby girl. Come on, let's go eat some dinner." He told her, walking towards a small cabin on the beach. Just as they were about to enter the house a small tremor spread through the ground. In an instant ,the man's head whipped towards the apparent source of the tremors. A large cloud of sand was forming from the opposite direction, whatever was creating it was too far away to identify. The man put down the child gently and knelt in front of her.
"Elisa, I need you to go inside ,alright? Do not come out unless I tell you to." He told her sternly. A panicked look appeared on her face.
"Daddy what's wrong?" She asked fearfully. Compassion filled his eyes as he wrapped his arms around her tightly and planted a kiss on the top of her head.
"Listen to me Elisa. You need to go NOW!" He said more forcefully, as the dust cloud was rapidly approaching. He pushed her behind him and shouted once more. "Hurry!" The child ran towards the cabin as the man could finally distinguish what was approaching him. A horde of monsters, probably a hundred or more. At the forefront were monsters that made the man clench his jaw, whether the reaction was due to anger or anxiety could not be distinguished. The man's eyes glowed brightly and he got into a fighting stance, a ball point pen appearing in his hand.
Echidna, the chimera, the Minotaur, empousa, dracaena, hellhounds. A grim expression covered the man's face as he flicked the cap of the pen off. In an instant a beautiful bronze leaf blade sat comfortably in his hand. Sunlight reflected off the perfect blade like it would off a mirror.
"Huh, It has been awhile ,has it not, partner?" The man said, smiling at his blade slightly. He ran his hand along the flat side of the blade, admiring that which he had not used in many years. "Let us hope I am not too rusty, yeah?" The man said and started towards the monster horde. As both parties approached they slowed until they came to a complete halt.
"It has been a while, Echidna. What brings you to my humble abode?" The man asked casually. It would seem he was relaxed, that is to an untrained eye. Every muscle in his body was tensed, like a tiger ready to pounce. At even the slightest provocation he was ready to fight to the death. A sinister cackle emerged from the open mouth of the snake woman.
"It has been awhile has it not, dear hero." She said mockingly, causing the man to clench his jaw.
"I left that life a long time ago, Echidna. Why are you here?" The man said, his voice low as a dangerous gleam appeared in his eye. A number of monsters instinctively stepped back as killing intent began to leak out from the man. The only ones not affected were Echidna and her son the Chimera. Even the mighty minotaur, having died at the hands of this man many times, stepped back in hesitation.
"You might have left that life boy, but that life has not yet left you. There are some people that are very disappointed in your decision." She sneered. A growl emitted from his throat as a flood of killing intent poured out from him like a wave. An oppressive aura started crashing down on them. With the aura and killing intent alone multiple monsters either fainted or died from heart attacks. A few even killed themselves. They all knew the man they were ordered to fight against was no ordinary mortal. He was a being on par with gods. But they couldn't refuse either, as they might have met a fate worse than death. In a situation like this, even monsters have a right to be pitied. To be stuck between a being that will torture them for eternity if they did not obey and a mortal viewed as the bane of all monsters. It was truly a terrible situation for them. Ofcourse, none of that mattered to the person they were threatening.
"Leave. Now." The man spoke those two words with such authority it made even Echidna doubt herself for a moment. The entire mythological world knew the power of this man. A man whose power as a mortal rivaled that of some of the Olympians. A man whose very name commanded such respect and fear from mortal and immortal alike, he could have been compared to Thanatos himself. To some he was death and destruction incarnate. To others he was the epitome of salvation and heroism. He was a survivor. A fighter. A conqueror. A commander. He was also A Destroyer. It took a few moments for Echidna to work up the courage to respond.
"Sorry about that boy. But someone higher up the food chain than you has decided this." The mother of monsters growled definitely, trying her hardest to instill confidence not only in herself but in her troops. That effort failed miserably with just 3 words. The man lowered his head, his wild hair settling down and covering his eyes in a shadow darker than the blackest night. For an instant, both his aura and killing intent disappeared. For a moment the monsters breathed a sigh of relief. Until he spoke once more.
"So be it." He said. Those three words frightened his enemies more than even him suppressing them with aura and killing intent. Because he sounded cold, emotionless. Then he looked at them. A simultaneous flinch occurred. His eyes were no longer shining brightly. They were murky, like a lake of poison. There was no emotion in those emerald orbs. Like these monsters that had been feared throughout the ages were nothing more than specks of dust to him. Like ants trying to fight a giant.
"Charge!" Echidna roared and the minotaur was the first to step forth. It roared as it raised its omega shaped ax into the air. How it kept getting that damned thing back after its death is a mystery only Chaos herself could solve. The minotaur got within about 10 feet of the man before he blurred out of existence. For a moment all the monsters just looked at where he stood with confusion.
"HA! Guess he ran…" Echidna started before hearing a sick Schink sound. She looked over at the minotaur only to see it fall to its knees slowly and collapse onto the ground, its head rolling away a few feet before it dissolved into yellow dust. "A-away." She commented, unable to keep the nervousness out of her voice. The man stood next to the pile of yellow dust. He had his back turned to them, his sword covered in the black blood of monsters. He flicked his wrist and his sword blurred, splattering the blood on the sword onto the ground. He turned his head to stare at them with one eye.
"Come." He spoke simply, enraging Echidna and every other monster there. Even if he was The Destroyer, how could he look down on a force composed of strong monsters.
"Kill him!" Echidna screeched and started slithering towards him. The chimera followed behind his mother. The Dracaena took up their bows and pulled back arrows in sinc. The hellhounds began to circle around him while the empousa took up various positions in between the other monsters. Despite being completely surrounded he continued to stare at them coldly.
"Heh." He sneered, his sword blurred as a wave of arrows from 30 Dracaena rained down on top of him. He did not even dodge, just swung his sword so fast it left after images. All 30 arrows were either pushed off their trajectory or completely sliced down the middle. During the arrow onslaught about half the army rushed forward, the chimera leading them. As they approached a bloodthirsty smile split the man's face in half. In an instant an aura on par with a god came crashing into them once more, along with more killing intent than they had felt in their millennia long lives. In the tiny moment of hesitation the man attacked.
He ran towards the chimera, leaping into the air to dodge a rather large breath of fire that incinerated a dozen hellhounds. A demonic cackle emanated from the man as he spun through the air, his bronze blade gleaming in the setting sun light. As he came down from the air ,the snake tail shot up towards him like a lightning bolt, but it stood no chance. Like a ballerina the man threw out a leg to accelerate his spin and sliced the head of the snake tail off like a hot knife through butter. The chimera roared in pain as the man landed, doing a barrel roll directly under a pouncing hellhound. He stood up and blocked the sword from an empousa and kicked away a hellhound, immediately decapitating said monster and slicing the empousa in half. He ran towards another group of monsters, the chimera trailing behind. A spinning leap to the side allowed the man to dodge a massive fire breath by a hair's width, singing his body slightly. He grimaced slightly but it only left slight burn marks on his skin, despite more than two dozen monsters being incinerated by it instantly.
"Heh, you never were the smartest monster out there were you bud. Let's continue this dance shall we?" The man said as he ran towards one of the most feared monsters in Greek mythology. He ducked under a swipe from the elephant's foot sized paw and whipped his arm around, slicing through the tendon of the front left leg causing the monster to roar in agony once more. He quickly follows that up with a brutal roundhouse kick to the goat head's jaw, causing a sickening crunch to echo and the beast to be knocked backwards a few feet. That action caused all the monsters there to once more consider who they were fighting. Kicking a massive monster who weighs at least a ton, and causing it to move backwards? What kind of monster of a mortal was this man. His strength had to at the very least be on par with Hercules when he was a demigod!
Another volley of arrows began raining down, making the man grab a charging hellhound to use as a shield, which was quite effective. The monster soon turned into golden dust after showering the man in its blood. He sneered once again at the monsters. Causing them to charge once more. He was a whirlwind of destruction. Nothing and no one could touch him as he moved through them like water moves through cracks in stone. His sword dance was almost beautiful. Arrow, swords, claws. None of them mattered the veritable god that dominated the battlefield. There was a reason he was known as The Destroyer after all. His skills were on par with the upper echelon of gods, possibly even surpassing them.
Monsters fell one by one until suddenly a hunting horn blared. All eyes turned towards the direction of the horn. About forty young girls stood on a nearby sand dune with their bows drawn. The man only glanced at them once before returning to his monster slaughter. With an additional wave of arrows taking care of the dracaena archers the man had one less thing to worry about, allowing him to even more effectively fight the remaining monsters. The remaining monsters went after the girls in silver, leaving behind only echidna and the chimera. The mother of monsters held a massive halberd and wielded it with utmost precision. The man himself had to begin taking this somewhat seriously due to the expertise of the female monster. The chimera breathed fire towards him, only for him to dodge and parry the halberd that was aiming to slice off his head. He grunted slightly and slammed his foot into the shaft of the halberd with enough force to knock it from the monster's hand, then he ran forward and jumped up, using echidna's face like a spring board he launched into the air. He flipped mid air and swung his sword down at the chimera, slicing the lion's face in half and in quick succession slicing off the goat head completely. The two heads gushed enough blood to fill a small pool before disappearing into golden dust.
He glanced over at the huntresses to see them finishing off their own opponents. He smirked slightly before his expression settled on neutrality. He walked towards Echidna who was trying to reach for her weapon. He dashed over and sliced off her arms, eliciting a scream of agony. The sound of footsteps in the sand could be heard getting closer and closer as the man stood above the mother of all monsters. The man grabbed the monster who was almost twice his size by the throat tightly and held her in the air.
"Who sent you?" The man questioned, his tone leaving no doubts about his intentions if his question was not answered. The monster smirked while grimacing.
"E-even if I told you it would not matter. He is not someone you have a chance against. You shouldn't have left, boy. You should have known your place and stayed as a pawn. Now you are paying the price for it." She wheezed out as her windpipe was slowly being crushed. He frowned and grabbed the tip of the monster's tail that had tried to stab him faster than even the huntresses could react. He heard a few gasps behind him but paid them no attention. Instead he crushed the tail ruthlessly causing echidna to scream in agony once more.
"It was not a question you can deny. It was an order. Who. The. Fuck. Sent. You." He commanded with barely concealed rage.
"Y-you will find out soon.." She started but was cut off as he immediately crushed her throat, causing her to suffocate. After a few seconds she slowly dissolved into golden dust. The man sighed deeply and stared at the sky.
"Are you alright?" A voice echoed from behind him. The man turned to look down at the speaker. It was a girl, probably about 13 or 14. She had gorgeous auburn hair and stunning silver eyes. A strange and unidentifiable emotion passed through the man's eyes. A small smile formed on his lips.
"Of course. Thank you Lady Arty." he said jokingly, causing the girl's eye to twitch. Her leg snapped forward and her foot slammed into his shin.
"OW! Shit Artemis, you didn't have to do that!" The man cried and grabbed his injured shin. Artemis and her hunt broke out into laughter.
"I told you not to call me Arty. You should have been prepared for that." She said smugly, smiling at the only man she would ever call a friend. Despite him having left the affairs of Olympus for many years, they still crossed paths every once in a while. He had even lent her help quite a few times. Even her man hating hunters didn't mind being around the only man who treated them like family.
"Come on kelp head, you gotta be more mindful don't you think?" Another voice rang out as another girl stepped forward. She was taller than Artemis by a few inches, and appeared to be around 16. She had spiky black hair, electric blue eyes, and small freckles across her nose.
"Don't be like that to your dear cousin pinecone face. Maybe you would have been better off as a tree after all." The man replied, smirking. Another eye twitch, and another shin kick.
"Fuck!" He cried out holding his now doubly bruised shin.
"Quit being a smartass kelp-for-brains. Or maybe you just like getting beat up by girls." The girl said, causing the hunters to break down into fits of giggles. Instead of being angry he just smiled and hugged her.
"It has been a long time, Thalia. I missed my favorite cousin." The man as the now identified Thalia reciprocated the hug.
"I can't believe it has already been a year. We were tracking that horde for a month as well. We were trying to finish them off before the summer solstice meeting but I guess you did most of the work for us." She said as they disentangled. The man put a hand on his chin.
"I wonder why they were here though, they refused to diffuse who sent them. Instead saying I would find out soon… I wonder who…" he was interrupted when a familiar small voice called out.
"Daddy you are okay!" The man's apparent daughter ran out of the cabin a few hundred feet away.
"I see Elisa is just fine." Thalia stated to the man. He smiled and nodded, crouching down and opening his arms towards the elated little girl. Both the man and girl smiled at each other. Even the huntresses who were generally cold and emotionless, could not keep the smile off their faces at the sight.
Twang!
A single sound of a bow being fired. By the time the sound reached the man's ears and he turned he saw an arrow racing past his face. Time moved in slow motion as he realized the trajectory. His mind immediately went into overdrive as he pushed his body as much as he could to catch the arrow. He moved so fast even Artemis had a somewhat hard time following him. He thrusted out his fingers, almost reaching the fletching. HIs fingers brushed against the fletching, only barely missing. His eyes widened as tears began filling them.
Thunk
The sound of that wretched arrow sinking deep into the chest of the man's daughter. Everyone was stunned for a second before a cry of rage nearly deafened everyone. In a movement exponentially faster than before the man drew his sword and threw it towards the place the arrow came from with a mighty roar. The sword sliced through the air and sunk into the chest of a dracaena that somehow had hidden itself from both the man and a goddess. The monster crumbled into golden dust rapidly and everyone's attention turned to the now bleeding out Elisa.
"Elisa! Elisa!" The man screamed as he cradled her in his arms.
"D-daddy, i-it hurts." She whined softly, barely having enough strength to hold his arm.
"A-Artemis please do something! Bring some ambrosia or nectar, please!" The man begged her. The goddess rushed over and knelt down next to them, summoning both items into her hands. She proceeded to feed a small amount of nectar to the girl and gave her a small piece of ambrosia. Despite that, the bleeding did not stop.
"W-whats going on! Why is it not working?" The man said, panicking.
"Daddy… I.. Everything.. Is black… I can't… see you." The small child said softly, her voice becoming quieter and quieter.
"Don't worry baby girl, e-everything is going to be alright. Artemis, call your brother fast!" He asked her desperately. She nodded and closed her eyes in concentration. The man tried desperately to stop the bleeding, but he could not even remove the arrow since that might cause more damage. He even tried using his powers, but for some reason they would not work. As if.. Something was stopping it. In his desperation, he failed to identify the source of the strange power. But once he found out… only Chaos could predict what would happen.
A bright light appeared next to them and a young man appeared. His bright golden eyes and blonde hair, along with his high cheekbones were his most defining features.
"What's going.." The man started before noticing the situation. His eyes widened and he immediately knelt down next to his sister and cousin.
"Please Apollo.." The man said, unable to control the tears flowing from his eyes.
"Lay her down now. I am going to try and remove the arrow now." Apollo told the man who immediately placed the girl onto the sand. Her breathing had nearly stopped at this point and her once blue tinted skin was whiter than snow. Apollo grabbed onto the shaft of the arrow and closed his eyes. He suddenly cursed.
"W-what's wrong?" The man asked his cousin.
"This arrow is barbed. If I pull it out it will tear a hole in her chest the size of my fist. Let me try something else." He said seriously and his hands started glowing. After a few seconds irritation and sweat formed on his face.
"What the hades is this! Something is blocking my powers!" He cried in anger.
"D-daddy? Are you there?" The child said weekly. Said father grabbed her hand and held it tightly.
"Daddy's here baby girl. I am right here." The man said, sobbing uncontrollably as Apollo got increasingly frustrated at trying and failing to heal his cousin's child.
"A-am I going to go see mommy?" She asked softly, turning her head towards the sound. Her eyes were blank, as if she had been blind since birth.
"No, no. You are going to be perfectly fine once uncle Apollo is done healing you." The man said desperately trying to speak his hopes into reality.
"Daddy." The child said smiling. "I can see mommy. S-she's waving at me. I-I love you daddy." The child said as her arm slowly went limp and her eyes closed.
"She's gone." Apollo said, clenching his fists in rage.
"Why couldn't you heal her brother?" Artemis asked aggressively.
"You think I didn't try! There was something blocking my powers. It also is what kept me from directly removing the arrow. It was a form of curse. The energy powering the curse was…" Apollo stopped himself. He looked down at the man, anxiety and slight fear crossed across his face.
"Whose energy was it Apollo." The man's voice was low and dangerous. Greif, anger, and hate saturated every word he spoke.
"I-it…" Apollo hesitated once more. Waves crashed against the shore as dark clouds formed in the sky. The ground slowly began vibrating as a visible aura formed around the man.
"Spit. It. Out." The man stated, emphasizing every single word.
"I-It belonged to my father. I can only guess that he was upset over your second rejection of godhood and subsequent departure from the godly world." Apollo said, taking a few steps back along with his sister. Even with the sun and moon as their domains, some of the most powerful just based on belief in them alone. Their instincts told them that at this moment, that man was not someone they could defeat.
"The summer solstice is happening soon. Take me there." The man said, gingerly picking up his now deceased daughter as he picked her up, her other hand opened, dropping the small white pearl she had found earlier that day onto the sand. He stared at it for a few seconds before bending down and picking it up as well. He held onto his daughter's body and the pearl tightly as tears streamed down his face.
"I-I don't know if that is a good idea.." Apollo tried but instantly stopped once he met the man's eyes. In the many years he had known this man, he had never seen a look as terrifying as that. His eyes were wild but cold. They were filled with so much hate that it made his skin crawl. The very fact that that man had not destroyed the entire coast was proof enough of the immense self control he was currently employing. And everyone there knew that if they tried to stop him, he would snap on them and they could do nothing about it.
"A-Alright. Let's go now. It was going to begin in a few minutes anyways." Apollo said, grabbing the man's shoulder and flashing to Olympus along with his sister and her hunters. Despite it having been years since the man had been to this place it did not matter. His head was down, staring at the face of the child he had with his first and only wife. Memories of the day they had met flooded his mind.
Flashback
A young man sat on a dock on an unknown beach. After many years of being together the man and his lover had decided to break it off due to never being able to spend time together. The girl had been busy with her work, while the man had been busy training the next generation. Of course now that his primary motivation for staying at the place where his story began was gone, he had decided to leave his job to his fellow veterans. For once he had gained the peace he had long for, for the past 8 years. The man sighed deeply and stared out at the ocean.
"What's got you so down prince?" A melodious voice echoed from under the dock which he sat on. He looked down in surprise and saw a naiad. She had rich blue skin, black hair, and lapis lazuli coloured eyes. She was petite, probably only about 5'2, but was as voluptuous as a nature spirit could get. Though to the man she seemed a bit different than other naiads. Despite the nudity he currently saw as naiads never wore anything, that was it. She seemed genuinely curious about his plight, unlike other naiads that tried to flirt with anything that had a dick. He mentally shrugged and hopped down into the water to speak with her.
"I just broke up with my girlfriend. Despite it being mutual.. I really do not know what to do now. I spent so much of my life at war, that I have no clue what to do with peace." The man told her. She put a hand on her chin and started swimming around. Although doing that brought a bright blush to the man's face as he desperately tried to keep his eyes away from her more… feminine parts. After a few minutes she suddenly stopped and swam up to him delighted.
"I have an idea! Why don't you explore the ocean? You have spent most of your life on land, but you belong in the sea just as much if not more! I have seen some amazing places I could take you to." She said amicably. The man floated there for a moment, thinking deeply. He had already said goodbye to his mother and stepfather, since he could not really be around them much considering he would attract every monster within a hundred mile radius.
"Why not." The man shrugged. The naiad squealed happily and grabbed his hand, dragging him away from the shore.
"By the way, what is your name?" The man asked her. She turned and smiled brightly.
"I go by Rias, my lord." She said, her bubbly personality simply being addictive. The man smiled happily as well.
"Quit that prince and my lord stuff. Just call me Percy." The now identified Percy stated, clearly annoyed by the honorifics.
"Then let us go, Lord Percy!" She said and started swimming off, taking Percy in tow. He simply sighed at her insistence of calling him lord, but went along with it since he had found a new friend.
So for a whole year, they traveled around America. Everywhere the Greek gods had influence, the two went. They explored more areas around the American coast than most marine scientists. Through their adventures, even when running into sea monsters, the two were basically glued together. Over time Percy forgot about his ex, and instead felt something for his new best friend Rias. Over the course of a year the pair of adventurers fell in love, and eventually got together. After 8 months of dating, they decided to officially get married. The wedding was the largest held in the sea since Poseidon and Amphitrite married 4000 years ago. Everyone was invited, most of the Olympians came, along with many minor gods. Even Percy's mortal mother and step father attended along with his new baby sister. It had been the happiest the demigod had been since he found out he was a demigod. Nothing had made him feel as whole as Rias had. And so they went on a honeymoon in Hawaii.
A year later, a beautiful daughter was born to them. Her name was Elisa Zoe Jackson. Percy was sure, having that child was the greatest thing to ever happen. Except that there were complications during the birthing process, causing Rias to die after giving birth. So the only thing he had left to remember his wife was their daughter. So he swore to himself he would protect her no matter what.
Flashback End
But he failed. He failed to protect their daughter. Failed to protect the thing that was most precious to him in the entire universe. It was his fault. That bastard who dared to lay his hands on his daughter. He would make them pay, even if it meant sacrificing his life. Even if he died, because Hades owed him a favor for getting his counsel seat back, he could meet both his wife and daughter in Elysium. He had nothing to fear, as it was a win-win situation. If he died he could see his daughter. If he killed the bastard that caused his daughter's death he could always kill himself afterwards so that he could spend the rest of eternity with them. But even knowing that… it did nothing to alleviate the hate that was growing exponentially inside of his heart.
He ignored the stares and whispers of the various residents of Olympus. None of them mattered at this moment. A thunderbolt lit up the sky, causing a look of hate to cover Percy's face. That was Zeus calling for the solstice to begin. Perfect. He wanted everyone to see what the so-called god king had done. And what he would get in return.
The entourage of gods and demigods approached the throne room doors. No gods nor nature spirits dared to approach them, seeing the grim and enraged expressions on their faces. Thalia herself was sparking with electricity, seeing as the now dead Elisa was as close to a real niece as she had ever gotten. Even the rest of the hunters and Artemis herself had adored the child, seeing as both the man and his daughter had spent a large amount of time with the hunt after the death of Rias. It would not be too far-fetched to say Artemis herself had been somewhat of a second mother during the child's first couple years.
Apollo, the usually fun loving god, was both terrified and enraged as well. He too had spent a decent amount of time with the bubbly child, enough for him to get as attached to her as he would his own children. As a god who had lost countless children he had loved dearly, he could understand what the man felt. The only difference is that as a god he had to keep his distance, so despite loving his children he never truly got close. As to why he was terrified though.. Was the fact that the man currently did not exude anything. Not rage, not hate, no aura nor killing intent. The spot in which he stood was like a hole in space itself, where nothing existed. The fact that he was either reining himself in this much, or was so numb to the universe made the Sun god's blood run cold.
They stopped in front of the grand golden doors and a cold silence seemed to envelope the entirety of Olympus, as if the universe itself was preparing for a disaster of untold magnitude. Apollo stepped forward and pushed the doors open, revealing the 14 magnificent thrones. All 14 Olympians sat in their thrones, bar Apollo and Artemis who stood beside their friend.
"Finally you two have arrived. Where in my name have you been!" Zeus said angrily. "And why have you brought your huntresses daughter?" The arrogant god demanded.
"Son?" A deep voice asked. Poseidon stepped down from his throne and ran towards his son. "Perseus! Where have you… been.." The god started to ask but stopped speaking once he realized what his son was holding. Gasps rang throughout the room. In an instant Hestia, Hades, Aphrodite, Poseidon, and Hermes were around the demigod who had saved their lives.
"Nephew what happened?" The lady of the hearth asked her favorite nephew. A sob crawled its way out of Poseidon's throat as he stared at his favorite grandchild's corpse. The only gods who did not have a concerned look were Dionysus, because he is a fat drunkard, Ares who couldn't give two shits about anything unless it in involved sex or bloodshed, and Zeus, who was beginning to look anxious. Even Hera, a goddess known for her hatred of demigods, had also fallen in love with the child of their greatest hero. Who could not after all, the child reminded her of when her own daughter, Hebe, had been born. A child most pure, most innocent. Then the man raised his head, causing all those around him to step back.
His eyes were a green so deep that it was almost black. They looked shattered, as if every emotion had been forcefully drained out of them. That was when they noticed, his entire body was shaking as his eyes locked onto a certain individual. They followed his gaze and saw him staring at Zeus, who was beginning to fidget.
"Ask. Him." The man replied, his very voice holding so much hate and power shook the throne room. The man handed his daughter to his father and began walking forward, almost in slow motion. With every step, his eyes never wavered, His gaze never broke. Every step the marble floor of the center of Olympus cracked, storm clouds formed above the hall of the gods as lightning struck.
"Why? Zeus." The man said with venom more deadly than that which even Akhlys could produce. His rage finally breaking through as an aura just as enormous as some of the original six gods began to flood out. Killing intent that made even Ares sweat slightly poured out like a massive dam that had been broken at once. Except it was all focused on one being. Zeus, finally working up the courage to speak.
"You impudent mortal! You dare to question the king of the gods! You should have accepted my most generous offer when you had the chance. Then you had the audacity to leave without permission!? Foolish bastard. Did you think you could get away with this insult!" The god king roared, standing up enraged. His bolt formed in his hand.
"Brother! What is the meaning of this!" Poseidon roared as the seven gods who had been around their savior drew their symbols of power.
"No. He. Is. MINE." The man roared so fiercely and with such thick killing intent that a few of the weaker gods out of the 14 had to kneel from the pressure alone. Even some of the stronger and more elderly gods had to use their own divine power to shield themselves. Even then it did not stop many from worrying. Despite Zeus not being the actual strongest god, his weapon alone elevated him to a position where not many could directly face him. The master bolt was one of the strongest weapons in existence. Nearly on par with the scythe forged inside the heart of the primordial Gaia for her son Kronos. The elder cyclopes pulled all the stops when making that masterpiece. A weapon designed to amplify the power of the person it is bound to.
"Hmph! Arrogant as ever I see. Fucking sea spawn. It is high time I teach you EXACTLY WHERE YOU BELONG!" the god king roared and shrunk down in size, rushing towards the demigod. In an instant the god king was in front of him, swinging down a weapon with the power of multiple nuclear bombs. But just as fast a gorgeous bronze blade blurred into existence and intercepted it.
"Hypocrite! Today is the final time I will put up with your tyranny! I am not your servant anymore!" The man roared with as much ferocity as the god king himself. Both the bronze blade and the bolt blurred out of existence as they traded an innumerable amount of blows. Even the younger Olympians had their eyes wide open.
"I-I can't see their movements." Artemis admitted, astonishment in her eyes. Apollo and Hermes agreed.
"You are lucky you cannot in a sense." Aphrodite said, shocking the gods next to her. "What!? I was born from two primordials and I am still far older than you all. I might have Love as a domain but it does not mean I am as weak as you all treat me. After all, Percy here was the only one who treated me like a normal person. I really hope he can keep up." The goddess said, biting her lips.
"Indeed. The last time my brother fought like this was against our father. I just do not know if my son can hold out." Poseidon said, nervously gripping his trident.
The two were just standing still essentially, except that the entire air between them was filled with sparks from metal on metal and the electricity that was trying to desperately reach the demigod. A tiny layer of pure water surrounded the man, making it so the electricity could not harm him. A sinister grin split his face once more, as his fighting spirit soared and his bloodlust became almost palpable. Slowly and surely the demigod got faster and faster, the water surrounding his body giving him an even greater boost to his power. A dark, almost evil laughter came from the man as the last few shreds of his sanity began to snap. All the pain he suffered because he was a dog for the king of olympus. All the comrades he lost because this foolish bastard could not rule properly! It was time that this monster got what he deserved.
"EVERYTHING IS YOUR FAULT. ALL THOSE INNOCENT DEMIGODS DIED BECAUSE OF YOUR FUCKING PRIDE!" The man roared, kicking the god king away, causing him to slam into his throne. He stood up and much to his own shock, a tiny almost imperceptible crack had formed on his seat of power. He whipped his head into the direction of the man slowly approaching him. Like a rabbit stared at a wolf. "Zoe. Charles. Silena. Luke. Bianca. Pollux. Chaos only knows how many other demigods born to minor gods died because of you! Your neglect! Your inability to think with anything other than your fucking dick!" The man growled. "That all ends today. I will send you to meet the god of the pit, so that you may experience the hell I went through!" The man shot forward, every step causing a miniature earthquake as the wind in the throne room began swirling.
"B-Bastard! You dare use my domain in my house!" The god king roared, seeing the small hurricane forming inside the throne room. He exerted his domain of sky, trying to stop it. But much to his shock, his power was immediately repelled.
"You should have known. The sea cannot be controlled." The man said and swung his sword down with as much force as he could muster. The sky god roared in rage and swung up to meet his blade. A boom with as much force as a sonic boom happened once their blades met. Knocking many gods off their feet and throne. Both participants were launched away from each other at near the speed of sound. Percy crashed through the throne room wall and landed in the courtyard outside, while Zeus smashed into his throne once more, causing a huge crack to appear on it. The god coughed up a copious amount of ichor, staining both his suit and the floor in front of him. A vein of his forehead seemed to pop as he realized a mortal had caused him this extensive damage to him. He roared, his aura flooding out, clashing with that of the man he fought. The god king flew forward, a sonic boom occurring in his wake, causing many of the hunters to hold their now bleeding ears in pain as Apollo tried to heal them and other gods to shield them.
The large group ran outside as soon as the sounds of fighting started once more. The entirety of the courtyard was destroyed. Hundreds, most likely thousands of nature spirits and minor gods watched as the king of Olympus and the savior of Olympus fought in a death match. Lightning struck the ground, earthquakes dissolved the marble in various places, tornadoes destroyed stalls and temples. None of that matters to the two combatants, whom none dared to approach. The combined aura they released would have been enough to give even demigods heart attacks, and bring minor gods to their hands and knees. Only some of the Olympians would be able to get close, much less restrain them. It did not matter though, for if what the son of the sea had said about Zeus was true, even the majority of Olympians would have gone after him themselves.
The two fighters vanished from sight and blurred into existence all over the newly created battlefield. Poseidon, Hades, and Hestia began to work on putting up a barrier over the area so no more damage could be caused. Percy glanced over at them briefly before smiling even more and cackling.
"Finally, it looks like I can go all out." He said sinisterly.
"W-what?" Zeus asked panting. He was covered in cuts all over, ichor pouring from uncountable wounds on his body. Percy's few wounds were rapidly being healed by both the rain and the water surrounding his body.
"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you. When I was taking a vacation in the pit I met a few neighborhood primordials." The man started, causing whispers to begin passing between the many observers. "Of course everyone here knows I met Night and the pit themselves. But that was not all. In the process of getting the death mist to pass through the palace of night and the monster army unobstructed we met a little issue. See we had to get the death mist from Akhlys. And she did not want to give it over willingly." The man droned on, as Zeus got more and more pale as the story progressed. "I fought Akhlys, and almost killed her WITH HER OWN POISON." He roared, thrusting his hand out. The ichor that the god king had spilled rose up into the air, forming into bright golden spears.
"DIE!" He commanded and the spears shot forth, mini sonic booms occurring as they shot through the air. The man himself also rushed forward as the god king desperately tried to fend off. In one movement a massive gash appeared on the king's chest, causing him to scream in absolute agony as blood gushed out like a waterfall. The man grabbed the king by the hair and held him up.
"This is the end of your tyranny Zeus!" He said coldly and swung his sword down. But for some reason, his sword moved slower. Like it was moving through syrup.
"The curse Ares gave him after his first quest!" Thalia cried out, pushing against the barrier the three elder gods had made.
"What!" Poseidon exclaimed and looked over at Ares who just shrugged.
Schiik
A gasp rang out and everyone turned their attention to Percy and Zeus. Percy, who once stood victorious over Zeus, now had the master bolt in his chest.
"HAHAHAHAHA! YOU INSECT! YOU TRULY THOUGHT YOU COULD BEAT ME! YOU STUPID SEA SPAWN. I AM THE KING OF OLYMPUS!" The god exclaimed with more arrogance than someone who just got their ass kicked should ever have. "Any last words scum?"
"*cough* Yeah I have a few. I swear on the Styx and my own soul, that you will pay. Even if I have to spend the rest of eternity clawing my way up from the depths of the underworld. I swear to every being in existence you will pay!" The man said, coughing copious amounts of blood. A sneer formed on Zeus's face.
"A bastard until the end." Zeus said simply and unleashed the full power of his bolt into the man's body. His cry of agony made the listener's skin crawl. His body glowed like a light bulb with the amount of electricity flowing from him. His blood boiled as his insides cooked like a thanksgiving turkey. Finally after what felt like an eternity to the poor mortal, he died. He died an agonizing death, the resentment from his daughter's murder unable to be alleviated. But a promise made upon one's own soul cannot be forgotten. No matter how much time passes, even if the universe ends that person will be bound to the contract they formed with themselves and the universe itself. Therefore, if the promise is sincere enough, even the universe itself, or someone high up being will intervene to make that promise possible.
An undetermined amount of time later
"Well, well. It has been eons since I last had a visitor." A dark voice rang out in the void of space.
AN: Alright everyone. I hope you enjoyed this. I know the quality waned a little in some parts but overall I can say definitively this is the greatest work of fiction I have ever created. I am looking forward to continuing this. I hope you look forward to it as well.
