AN: Alright, So before we get into anything I would like to address a few concerns people have. Firstly, Percy will get to camp when the story progresses that far. There is a reason I am having things happen the way they are. Think about it like this. EVERYTHING, both good and bad in Percy's life, was due to the meddling of the fates. They no longer have ANY control over his fate whatsoever. How do you think they will react? Every single instance of Percy landing a lucky hit, every lucky dodge, every instance of Percy winning against someone he realistically had no chance of winning against (I.E. Ares) was all because of the fates. So without their intervention he actually has to rely on both luck and his own strength. Meaning he has to be stronger than before. He has to be stronger than he ever was, which requires time and training. Secondly, about the length of the chapters. I do work full time, as well as doing college, playing on a GTA5 RP server called PGN, and doing various other things. Most of the writing for the story is currently being done on the couple minute breaks I get during work. Which is why the chapters are shorter. Customer service is a very exhausting job, so most of the time I do not have the energy to think after I get off work. I am glad you are all enjoying the story regardless, and I hope you continue to do so.

Before we get into anything else, I do want to let you know that I have decided a couple things. One, I plan on making this a VERY long story. Instead of trying to rush into the "exciting" parts of the original story, I plan on making my own. Which is why I am making this slowly. It is why I am taking my time on both writing and getting percy through this. I want you to feel immersed in the story, and to truly adventure with him. Secondly, He is going to be staying in this dungeon for a minimum of 3 weeks to a month. Possibly longer. Here is a teaser, it has something to do with the Hidden dungeon clear. Anyways, I am also starting a modded minecraft server if you guys want to join. The server IP and Modpack download link will be in the discord so be sure to join. You need at the very last 8 gigs of ram to use the modpack since it is quite heavy. Alright, now let's get into the story!

Last Time~

I gritted my teeth and twisted the knife inside of the wolf in front of me and ripped it out. I flung myself backwards, slamming the wolf on my back into a tree causing it to whimper in pain, then cry out in agony as I slammed my second knife into its side making it let go of my back. I whipped around and slashed its throat open with my other knife, slowly turning to the remaining wolf who growled at me and slowly started backing away. Before the final one could run away I threw both knives at it, catching it in its leg and shoulder. It collapsed, whining in pain. I walked over to it, blood staining my clothes. I pulled out the knife from its leg and stared it in the eye. The will to fight was gone, it had accepted its fate. The knife was plunged into its skull and the light slowly faded from its eye. I collapsed shortly after, as my health bar ticked down from blood loss. I crawled into some bushes and laid down, deciding to wait for the injury to heal before I continued my journey.

Now~

I shot up, looking wildly at my surroundings. I was in the same place I last remembered, with a pool of my own blood underneath me. I sighed and felt my back. The claw marks had healed, but I could still feel a small difference between them and my normal skin. At least I was still alive. I probably passed out from exhaustion and blood loss.

"Alexa, how long was I out for?" I asked my only companion on this adventure.

You were asleep for thirteen hours, forty-three minutes, and 10 seconds.

"Jeez, I really was exhausted." I murmured to myself, taking off my now destroyed T-shirt. I pulled out a black t-shirt from my inventory. Before heading out this morning, or I guess yesterday morning now since it has already been a full day, I had stuffed two changes of clothes into my inventory. Thank Chaos I did so. I honestly did not think I would have such a hard time with this.. I stared up at the beautiful night sky, contemplating my actions.

I was overconfident. This time I do not have the Fates' interventions to protect me, or to cause me pain. Is this what it felt like to actually have your fate decided by your own actions? It's… terrifying. Not having a set path predetermined… by prophecy or by the will of a "higher" being. What a strange feeling. I am used to having prophecies looming over my head, while being hounded for the entertainment of those old hags. Now, the prophecy is meaningless, I can do whatever I want whenever I want. I thought to myself, as a strange feeling welled up in my chest. I could not really identify what it was.

Master Perseus, do you think what you might be feeling is independence?

I glared up at the sky. "What did I say about calling me master huh? And Secondly, you know what it is like to feel?" I asked both jokingly and curiously.

I do not know what it is like to feel emotions… I was just providing a suggestion. I shall continue to call you master as I was created to serve you. She said, with a strange determination in her voice I had not heard before. The robotic tone was slowly fading away.

"Alright, I am going to camp out here for the night. Wake me up if anything happens." I told her and closed my eyes, laying my head on the soft grass underneath me. I felt myself slowly drift into unconsciousness and fall into a deep sleep.

Dreamscape~

I opened my eyes and had to squint due to the bright light. I was standing on a large, pure white marble platform, with white marble pillars holding up a large dome above me, with a hole in the center for sunlight to come through. In the center of the platform was a strange looking woman. By strange I do not mean weird. I mean otherworldly, ethereal beauty. As in something that should not even exist. Completely different from Aphrodite's version of beauty, which is just the embodiment of human beauty. This… woman looked truly like a godly beauty. Rich blonde hair with pure white skin. She wore a green dress with pure gold decorations outlining it. as she laid on her side on top of a bed of leaves. She was huge as well, probably at least 15 feet tall. The part that really clued me in to what she might be, were her ears. Long, at least three feet, ending in pointed tips. An Elf? I thought to myself and decided to use Observation on her.

I felt a shiver down my spine. This was a real goddess. Not like the Olympians. This one was undoubtedly more powerful than even my father. Even without her attention on me I could tell she was as strong as one of the original twelve Titans. A melodious voice filled my head as I walked towards her.

"Dimension walker…" A voice echoed in my mind, the voice as smooth and soft as silk, and as warm as the hearth. I felt the deity's attention move towards me, putting me under immense pressure for a moment, then it lifted. But that singular moment of pressure showed me just how outclassed I was currently. To fight a being like this who still seemed to be in the prime of their power, at the very least I would have to be as strong as I was in my past life to stand a chance. "Come… closer…" the voice said sleepily. I slowly walked forward towards the massive entity. I stopped about 10 feet away from her bed of vegetation.

"Who are you?" I asked, trying to keep the anxiety out of my voice. Even if I had fought gods, titans, and even primordials, right now I was nowhere near my peak.

"My name is Eleonora… although I am sure you know that already… I called you here because… I felt my husband's power on you. But you are not from here… You came from the other place that He told us about…" She nearly whispered, her lips moving ever so slightly whilst her eyes stayed glued shut.

"Who is this He you speak of?" I asked her curiously.

"He called himself Anias. Our universe was on the brink of destruction after existing for many eons. He offered us a solution. To merge our dimension with the one you come from. For the survival of our servants, many of us gods gave up the majority of our power to help that man merge our dimensions. Even now, many years later, after the lands in which our subjects used to live have been separated apart, we still slumber. There were some of us that disagreed however and tried to fight the rest of us. We had to use some power to seal them away. At this very moment I can feel them trying to break free and wreak havoc on your dimension. Eventually, both the chains on the fragments of my dimension and the prisons holding those rebellious gods in their cages will weaken. I have seen a glimpse at your world. While it is both beautiful and hideous, even with the atrocities that are committed in the place from which you came, I do not wish to see it implode upon itself like our dimension had." She explained. I knew of the Norse, Roman, and Egyptian pantheons. But to think that even in a weakened state there are gods out there, even if in other universes, that are above the power of the olympians.

"So why have you called me here?" I asked.

"To give you… a gift." She replied sleepily. Her massive hand began to move towards me and her index finger stretched out. The tip of her finger covered, nearly my entire chest as a droplet of blood seeped out of her finger and flew into my mouth. As I was forced to swallow the silver liquid, a strange warmth began spreading out through my entire body. For just a moment, the horror I had witnessed in my previous life, the pain I had suffered, all vanished. It reminded me of the many nights where Rias and I would stare up at the stars, whilst she was pregnant. I let out a peaceful sigh and opened my eyes, removing myself from the happy memories.

"Why are you giving me something like this?" I asked her curiously. While this would be helpful if I met some more intelligent races inside dungeons.. I doubt it would be helpful immediately.

"Goblins can be more intelligent than you think, child. The longer they live, the more intelligent they become. The ones you fought with previously, had only been alive for mere months. They grow up exceptionally fast and only live for thirty years. Unlike humans who can live a maximum of 120 years. I gave you something like this because, despite what the humans of my world think about other races, not all are completely hostile. I do not want to see the hero that was chosen by time to walk down the path of a slaughterer. Mercy is one of the greatest and most beautiful things a living being can offer, mortals and immortals alike. While I myself am a warrior goddess, as someone born from the world tree directly, I much prefer peaceful resolutions to problems. All life forms were created by myself and my fellow gods. As we are children of the world tree, so are our creations. Though some may stray from the path of righteousness and need to be brought to justice, I sincerely ask that you show compassion to those who are redeemable." She pleaded with me sleepily, her finger pressing against my chest gently. I could not keep a smile off my face, for she reminded me of my own wife. Compassion beyond reason, but the resolve to fight for what she desired. I placed my hands on the large finger.

"I swear I will do so. Thank you for your help." I spoke warmly. A small smile appeared on her sleeping face and she pulled her hand back, tucking it under her rather large assets.

"Child, you have one of the purest souls I have ever seen. Yet.. there is a great darkness inside you. If you learn to control it, it could become one of the greatest assets you have. If you get swallowed by it however… a great calamity will shake your world, with you at the center. Be careful, child. May the world tree bless your journey." She spoke sweetly, as the dream started to fade. I gave her a simple nod as her breathing began to steady once more, falling back into her deep slumber.

Next Morning~

I opened my eyes as something cold and wet pressed against my face. I glanced over and there was a fluffle of rabbits next to me. (Fluffle is a real word. Look it up) There were about twenty of them, with black and brown fur and startlingly intelligent blue and black eyes. There was a large flock of birds on the trees as well, with squirrels hanging on the trees observing me. I looked over to another spot in the forest and there were deer staring at me as well. I sat up slowly and reached out towards the rabbits. Instead of fleeing from my sudden movement, not only the rabbits, but all the other animals moved in closer. The rabbit's fur was the softest thing I had ever touched… well… the second softest thing I had ever touched if you catch my drift.

Thirty Minutes Later~

I finally managed to disentangle myself with the large herd of varying animals and began making my way towards the goblin village I had seen the day before. It had already been two days since I entered the dungeon and I still hadn't gotten to the main part of it yet. I mean, it is a fairly large distance from the entrance. There were also a couple of obstructions along the way. Namely a few goblins and a rather annoying pack of wolves. On the good end, I got my first ever blessing basically and I could quite literally feel the difference as I ran through the forest. As I ran at my temporary maximum speed with the boost of Nature's Emissary. The freedom I felt running that fast, I mean I was only running as fast as a professional athlete, but still. It was amazing having the wind buffet my face, especially considering how clean the air was in this place.

After a few minutes of running, I finally saw the edge of the tree line, expanding into a vast grassland. In the center of said grassland was a small village, probably big enough to accommodate a few hundred residents. There were a few goblins in shabby leather armor and holding crude Iron spears. There were probably about 30-40 guards patrolling the village. I tried using Observation, but it was not working from this distance. I mean, I am like a mile away from them, but still. The distance limitation is kind of annoying. It is especially annoying considering there is literally no cover that I could see between the tree line and the village. There were several animal pens but they were all within the outer wall of the village.

"Tch, any suggestions Alexa?" I asked the girl in my head. (Yes I know that sounds weird, shut up about it, it's true.)

You could try to approach them. If an altercation does ensure, you always have the chance to flee into the forest where you would not only have the weapon advantage whilst using a dagger, but also ability advantage with Nature's Emissary. She said, sounding slightly thoughtful. I decided to put the thoughts of her gaining true sentience on the back burner and move forward with the plan. I started making my way towards the goblin village, hoping to every god in existence I did not have to fight a horde of little green men.
