AN: Well, from what I can see, the majority of people are happy with the plot points I have added so far. I also wanted to move away from the traditional story line, although major plot points will remain. Such as the major quests and such. It is probably going to be another few chapters before he gets to camp, like 2-4. So I hope you enjoy it. The new pantheon will be playing a HUGE part in this story, so they will be fleshed out more. Some will be far more benevolent than both the olympians and titans, while some may be far, far worse ;)

I do want to let everyone know that I have a poll up in the discord currently to decide which game I should play for YT/Twitch next. It will either be a stream or recording, not sure yet. But please drop your votes on the poll if you want to see me a play a specific game!

Last Time~

"I guess [Fortune's Chosen] is already taking effect! How truly fortunate it was to raise my luck! Thank you for the suggestion Alexa. Now I can truly start preparing for that fateful day. Zeus! Wait for me uncle! The day in which your kingdom will crumble in front of your eyes will arrive soon!" I roared into the air, something deep within me welling up and howling in rage. The ground beneath me cratered and shook under the force of my yell. A dark smile split my face as I repeated the tragedies that happened to me over and over again in my mind. Solidifying my will to fight once more. "Never again will I be a dog of Olympus! If I must become a monster to slay a monster, I shall. If I must become a demon to slay a god, I shall! Nothing in this universe will stop me from erasing you from existence!" I cried out to the universe. To whoever could hear as hate welled up and burst forth from inside me. An uncontrollable, ugly, detestable feeling. Even though I knew it could lead to my destruction, it was a tool to use. A powerful tool to motivate me. So I would continue to use this evil. Until the promised day arrives.

After all. Sometimes you must fight fire…. With fire

Now~

Would you like to exit the dungeon? Yes/No

*If you choose no this option will appear later on*

I stared at the screen in front of me silently, contemplating what to do. There was still the hidden part of the dungeon quest, with even more rewards than the first one… I just need to figure out how to unlock it. I clicked no and decided to take a look around the village. The homes did not have much, just some shabby beds made with sticks, leaves, and animal furs. There were a few loaves of bread which I threw into my inventory to keep for later. The inventory actually puts a time freeze on objects, so if something is hot when put in it's hot when coming out, which means I can always have fresh food. Besides that, towards the center of the village, I noticed a house larger than the others. It was more structurally sound as well compared to the others. I decided to take a peek inside.

It was dimly lit, the only light in the room coming from various windows in the walls. In the very center was a throne with a large goblin sleeping soundly on it. The goblin was decorated in poorly made iron armor, with craters littering the surface from the primitive smelting method. He was probably about six foot tall and very well built.

(This Goblin has been lucky his entire life. He was born with an exceptional body, allowing him to utilize much greater strength than your average goblin. He is extremely prideful and using his strength he subjugated many goblins under his rule. He instilled such fear into his subordinates that even now he can sleep carelessly, as many had tried to kill him in his deep slumbers. All had failed)

I froze for the first time since I regressed. Even sleeping I could tell exactly how dangerous this goblin was. There was a massive sword next to him, probably about as tall as he was. It was a much better item than any I had seen in this dungeon previously. I decided to sneak away before he woke up.

I sighed once I left the village, a feeling of relief overcoming me.

"Why the hell was his strength and dexterity so high? I thought the cap on F-rank was 99." I asked Alexa seriously.

Boss monsters are different. While their stats are not usually that much higher than the cap for their rank, bosses are usually born with special body types. Such as this goblin whose heaven defying body grants him immense strength.

"What happens if the quest fails?" I asked nervously.

The dungeon disintegrates and everything inside it dies.

I thought about that for a minute before a grin split my face.

"Alright, if that's how this is going to be played I am fine with that. It's not like death matters anymore, and even if it did, it's not my first time dealing with life or death scenarios. Okay, within a month, I will definitely be strong enough to slaughter that boss." I said out loud, solidifying my determination once more. Something I would definitely need to take care of though, is my lack of real weaponry. I ended up breaking most of the weapons I had from the goblins and the ones they were using. I would also need a drastic improvement in training. The best way to do that would be smelting and forging. Forging should raise my strength and dexterity, and probably stamina as well since it will be hard to do all of that. I will have to make a forge though. A simple clay forge should do, although I will have to make a lot probably to get enough iron to make decent weapons with. I could also probably use water as a hammer, I can harden it enough so that it can act like a hammer and be useful for shaping the metal. The only annoying thing is that I will need a constant supply of water since some of it will be vaporized by the hot iron. Maybe I could keep it at a constant boil? I don't know if I am even capable of raising the temperature of water right now with how limited my mana pool is. At Least I learned some forging from Charles and Leo back in the day. Never really had a chance to try out what i was described but I guess here we are. Let's do this. I thought to myself, creating a plan to deal with this insane situation.

"Alexa, what do I need to achieve the first level of [Metal Body Tempering]?" I asked her, walking towards the forest.

The levels go based off the Mohs Hardness scale for metals F-rank is Gold, E-Rank is Silver, C-Rank is Copper, B-rank is Bronze, A-Rank is Platinum, S-rank is Iron, SS-Rank is Titanium, SSS- Rank is Tungsten, EX-rank is Diamond, and finally T-rank is Celestial Bronze. You need a varying amount of the material itself for each rank. The amount is determined by the ability of the user to absorb the mana each object emanates. The greater your absorption capacity, the less of each metal you will need. She explained.

"Alright, then I guess I will be smelting both gold and iron, probably the iron first so I can get the tools out of the way but the gold will be done afterwards. Two more questions, What will happen to the materials I drain mana from, and what will happen to this dungeon once I complete the quest and leave?" I asked, making it past the tree line and heading up towards the cave.

Usually the instant dungeon would disintegrate. If you want to be able to return to this dungeon for whatever reason, then you can use the Dungeon Return Stone to return to this instant dungeon at any time. As for removing mana from the metals, it will not affect them whatsoever. Mana is in everything in existence, but only living objects can be adversely affected by having mana removed. Mana is like blood. It flows through veins inside your body that can be expanded upon as you grow. In your case your mana channels can be maximized and rapidly expanded upon. That is due to the effect of the system, but also due to your own latent potential. If you had continued your training in the time you had a child, you would have become a true match for Zeus on power alone. Your skill with a blade easily outclassed all of the Olympians, the only reason you lost to Zeus was because your power was just a notch below his. If your rank were to have been determined then, you would have been Peak A-rank, reaching into the Lower S-rank. While Zeus was in the middle of S-Rank. She said, going way too in depth into the explanation. Although, it made me smile hearing that my past self was only at the Peak of A-rank. Seeing as how I have not even gone on my first quest yet and by the end of this I might be able to reach Peak F-rank, or even break into E-rank.. I should be able to catch up to my past self after I defeat Kronos. Hopefully before having to fight Gaea, but that might just be a pipe dream. Once I get to camp I should be able to get some equipment made to help with my training. Regardless, I need to start on this soon. So for now, it's time to make a base of operations.

Time Skip (25 Days Later)~

It took me a day to build a proper base of operations. I stole some animal pelts from the goblin village for a bed, and used water to carve out a small space in the wall to lay the pelts on. I got an even better idea than I originally had for the furnace, so I used some tools made of water over the next two days after I set up my base to carve out a smelting area. I covered both the inside and outside with clay and fired up the furnace to harden it. The result was a furnace that was more durable and could be used more than once, unlike most clay furnaces. So I set to work after that. I tried to use a water sword to cut down a tree but that did not work very well, so I used water to make a chainsaw instead, which worked much better at chopping them down. After that 2 days were spent making multiple tons of charcoal.

Then was the smelting process. I used stone to make an anvil and pounded away for 8 days on iron. First was making an iron hammer so I did not have to constantly reheat the metal, well as much at least. Since everytime I hit the hot metal with a water hammer it cooled rapidly. So I had to switch over to a stone. After I created the Iron forging hammer the process was much smoother. I managed to make a longsword that was about four feet long. Well, I guess it is more of a bastard sword since it is technically a hand-and-a-half sword. I used some leather from various goblin's leather armor to make the grip for the sword. I am used to using a Xiphos, in most cases Anaklusmos, but I also got bored and trained with other swords. To combat the strength of the goblin I would need something that was durable and could also somewhat match the length of his massive sword. After finishing the sword and hardening it I moved onto smelting the gold down. It took 2 days to finish getting it all smelt. In the times between checking up on the melting metal I trained [Metal Body Tempering] and [Nature's Mana Circulation]. I managed to get everything smelted and in my inventory by the 20th day. After that, I spent 5 days using anything and everything I could find to train my stats. From using tree logs to ingots of gold and iron. I even pushed boulders and ran through the forest. I kept myself to four hours of sleep every day, I had to hunt food as well since I ran out of food in my inventory after 3 days. I had never really gone camping before, so this was definitely new for me. To survive completely alone. It was kind of peaceful honestly. I missed having a drive, having a goal to work towards. But finally, with only 2 and half days left on the clock until the quest auto-failed, I finished my preparations.

Now~

I was utterly exhausted. 25 days of non stop work all to fight one monster. Reminded me of the days I spent training to fight Kronos… which I will now have to do all over again, fucking hell. Regardless though, It was well worth it. I managed to shave off the remaining fat on my body and gained a body no 12 year old should EVER have. I wonder what the Aphrodite girls at camp will think when they see me. I wonder what Rias will think when she sees me… That thought put a smile on my face. Her image, as well as Elisa's, Zoe's, Silena's, Bianca's, Beckendorf's. Every single friend I had lost was the motivation for me doing this.

"Perfect." I smiled to myself. Now I should be on an equal playing field with that boss. I tossed my hammer and some of the leftover metals I had lying around into my inventory and grabbed my bastard sword.

[Nameless Sword]

Rank- E-

A sword crafted by a Percy Jackson inside the depths of a dungeon. It is not the worst quality sword but nowhere near the best.

Damage- 100(+20, x1.1), Durability- 300/300(+20%)= 360/360

I had no clue what to name it honestly, seeing as I did not know if I would use it after today. After a day of testing and experimentation with it, it's definitely useful. The balance was not completely perfect, but not off center enough for it to fly out of my hands whilst using it. I gave it a few more test swings before sliding it into the sheath and fixing it onto my back with a strap. Every step I took towards the entrance of my temporary home made my blood pump. I felt something bubbling up inside me and my hands could not sit still, clenching and unclenching rapidly.

"Let's go kick some ass". I growled out, the feeling inside me becoming uncontrollable as I ran as fast as possible towards the old Goblin Village.

AN: Howdy folks. Sorry it has been so long. I have just had some issues with writing motivation but I am hoping to get some more chapters out soon, so I hope you are looking forward to that.
