*NOW this is my version of Hawaiian Vacation. Most of it will be the same, with the exception of Rosetta being in this. Enjoy!*
Winter had come to the tri-county area, bringing with it a fresh blanket of snow. Inside, the toys were talking amongst themselves when Woody whistled for their attention.
"Okay gang, it is exactly two o'clock, which means the bell at Sunnyside has rung, and Bonnie officially is on winter break!" Everyone cheered. Woody laughed and waved his hands. "Soon she will burst in and be flying off to..."
"Hay-Way-I!" Buzz said, wrapping an arm around his neck.
"It's pronounced Hawaii, Uncle Buzz!" Rosetta said laughing.
"Right you are, sweetheart. Now does everyone have a vacation plan?"
"Rex and I will be working on our multiplayer online role-playing profiles." Trixie said, typing on the computer.
"I am 'The Rexing Ball!'" Rex cried happily.
"The guys and I are going full swing into gin rummy!" Dolly said. Buttercup, Chuckles and Hamm sat around her.
"Potato Head, you in?" Buttercup asked.
"Sorry, he's all mine for the weekend." Mrs. Potato Head swooned.
"That's right, honey, just you and me." Potato Head said. His wife turned around and he pulled his arm out. "Deal me in."
"I'm helping Pricklepants with his next big show." Rosetta said. She and Woody turned to where Pricklepants was auditioning the aliens.
"Bonnie's coming!" Paulie pea shouted. They all fell to the ground as Bonnie rushed in, dropped her backpack against the wall, grabbed her suitcase, and ran out the door.
"Let the relaxation begin!" Buzz said.
"Ready to lose at checkers, slink?" Woody asked.
"In your dreams, cowboy." Slinky chuckled. As they walked off, the zipper on Bonnie's backpack started to open. Inside was Ken and Barbie sitting on small blue suitcases.
"We made it! Ken cried. Here's your bag, Barbie. You can put mine right here." A small Lego steward started taking the suitcases out of the bag.
"Oh Ken, this is so exciting!" Barbie cried.
"Say sunscreen!' Ken said, holding up a fake camera.
"Auntie Barbie!" Barbie turned and saw Rosetta running towards her. Barbie took her in her arms, hugging her.
"Ken? Barbie? What are you guys doing here?" Woody asked, coming over.
"Hey, Woody! You guys are in Hawaii too?! That's groovy!" Ken cried.
"Hate to break it to you, Ken, but this is Bonnie's bedroom." Hamm said. Ken took off his sunglasses and looked at him confused.
"Wait, what?" They heard a car horn outside and the start of an engine.
"There she goes." Dolly said. Ken rushed up and onto the dresser, pressing his hands up against the window.
"No, no, no! Bonnie! Wait, you can't leave without your backpack!"
"Hey dummy, did you really think Bonnie was going to take her school backpack on vacation?" Potato Head snapped. Ken began to hyperventilate. Climbing back down, he snatched a Hawaii pamphlet and shoved it in the face of a pilot keychain on Bonnie's bag.
"Please sir, you have to take us to Hawaii!"
"Sorry, I only zip and unzip. I can't actually fly." Ken started panting.
"Ken, are you okay?" Barbie asked, coming up behind him.
"I'll...be right back." Ken said before jumping back into the bag and zipping it close. Loud sobbing came from inside. Barbie sighed and picked up the pamphlet.
"Oh, he's been planning this vacation for months!" Barbie said, opening the flyer. Inside were brightly colored pictures of activities to do in Hawaii, each with a sparkly purple number next to it.
"Wow, that's a lot of numbers. Did Ken do that all by himself?' Dolly asked. Barbie ignored her and turned to Woody.
"Ken doesn't know that I know, but this is where he planned to have our very first kiss." She turned the flyer to the back and the picture showed a couple on the beach kissing under the sunset.
"Aww! That's so cute!" Rosetta said.
"Wait a minute, you two haven't kissed yet?" Potato Head asked. His wife kicked him.
"It would've been the perfect vacation." Barbie sighed again. Woody suddenly got an idea and turned to Jessie and Buzz, who smiled at him.
*Operation vacation is a go! Part two coming at ya!*
