*This Short will be Bo's story of what she went through after leaving Andy's. Will tie some of 'Lamp Life' into it. Enjoy! This will take place shortly after 'Humble Beginnings'.*

It was a crystal clear night and the tiny Pride family were sitting up on the roof, enjoying the fresh air.

"Wow, you can see the whole town from up here." Rosetta said, sitting in-between her parents.

"Sure can. Woody said. Bonnie's school, the post office, the library. You can see it all."

"It's definitely a better view than the one I had at Maria and Ellie's house." Bo said.

"Who are Maria and Ellie, Mama?" Rosetta asked.

"Oh. They, they were my owners, after I left Andy's." Woody looked at her.

"You mean the home you were taken to when you were..."

"Yes darling, that's the one. It was nice, as nice as it could be from being confined to the lamp."

"Would you tell us, Mom?" Rosetta asked.

"Sure. Come here." Bo pulled Rose onto her lap. "Well let's see now. Maria was my first little girl, only a few months old when I arrived. Cutest little thing. There were some nice moments when I would switch the light on at night when Maria fell asleep in her mom's arms. As she grew up, I got to join in on a few fairy tale play times and some sleepovers. But her mom and dad always caught her playing with me and took me away from her because I was "fragile"."

"If they knew your mom, they would say otherwise." Woody whispered to Rosetta, who chuckled lightly. Bo smiled too.

"And then came the tantrums at night, which the parents completely ignored. Some nights, it was so bad that the girls and I had to hide in a drawer to block it out. There is something to know about babies. They tend to love toys a little too much. Maria once pulled on the cord of the lamp, trying to reach me, but ended up pulling the lamp off the table completely. The girls and I were fine, but my crook suffered a small break. I was able to glue it back together, but somehow it was never the same." Bo sighed. "Then Maria got a baby sister, little Ellie. Soon the screaming doubled and the parents still wanted to 'let them cry it out'. Pathetic."

"I hate parents who just let the kid cry it out. Woody said. Sometimes the child does need to be soothed, while others do need to cry it out. It depends on the situation."

"I agree, darling." Bo said.

"Did you ever get played with, mom?" Rose asked.

"Oh believe me, sweetie, I tried my hardest to get some playtime in. Bo said. That was one risk I was willing to take. But it never happened. Though there was one day when the girls decided to play catch with my sheep. That was a disaster. Ellie went to catch them but bumped into the nightstand, knocking over the lamp and breaking the lightbulb. This led to the girls trying to replace the bulb, bless them. They didn't get the right size, so what happened? One night, the bulb shorted out, burst, and my bonnet caught fire!"

"Oh my god!" Rosetta exclaimed.

"It was horrible! I loved that bonnet. Anyway, I replaced the bulb while they were sleeping the next evening, but eventually the girls got sick of me and told their parents they didn't want me anymore. Said I was too 'babyish'."

"Oh Bo, that's awful." Woody said.

"Eh, don't worry about it. Bo said. It wasn't the first time this happened. Billy, Goat, Gruff and I were passed down to three more little girls, an old woman as a gift, and even a college dorm room before ending up at Rainbow Hill." She turned away from them and patted her dress. "We all know what happened with that."

"Yes we sure do." Woody said.

"I still have nightmares about that. Rosetta said. Bad nightmares."

"So do I, sweetie." Woody said, pulling her close.

"As do I. Bo said, wrapping an arm around Rose and taking Woody's hand. I'll be honest, that was not how I wanted to reunite with you two at all, but even with the unwanted circumstances, I am still thankful it happened. I got to see you both once again, and now we are all together, with our family and a wonderful little girl. I am truly thankful for that." Bo hugged them both, tight, and for a good few minutes.

"Thank you for telling us, darling. Woody said. We are so happy to have you back."

"We really are, mom. Rosetta said. We missed you so much."

"I missed you both too, so, so much. I'm never leaving again, that's a promise." They held one another for a little while longer, looking up at the night sky and enjoying the quiet evening.

*Short and sweet. Tried to keep all the bits of Lamp Life in here, with the exception of going to the antique store. I added in the girl's names. Hope you all enjoyed this. Till next time!
