Ninja Storm: Rise of the Eclipse- Chapter 9: Return of the Thunder: Part III
Disclaimer: Saban owns all Power Ranger line. I only own Crystal and Lucy and anything else unrecognizable.
" Man, is it me or is it seriously cold?" Dustin asked, rubbing his arm to keep warm. The pod of Rangers were trudging through the beach, in hopes of not running into anyone. Blake led the group, glancing around occasionally. The sisters took the middle, with Crystal being supported by her sister. The Winds took the back of the group.
The Red Ranger scrunched his nose at the chilly air flew by. " Sometimes I would say it was you," Shane stated, looking around the beach. " But it is seriously getting colder here." He rubbed his arms.
" I want to know why we can morph but not reach Ninja Ops?" Tori asked, not glancing at her leader.
" Okay, I'd settle for knowing where we are?" Shane asked.
" Portico Island," Blake answered plainly. Everyone stopped, staring at the Navy Ranger. He turned around, not hearing the crunch of the sand. " What?"
" Anything else you want to share with the group?" The Red Ranger asked, motioning to the group.
" No, you don't want to know," Blake replied. " Trust me."
" Trust us," Tori pressed on. " We do."
Blake turned back around, arms across his chest. " I heard Lothor talking with his pals just before he sent Hunter and me to earth." He informed the group.
" And?" Shane asked, raising an eyebrow at what Blake was going to say.
" This island doesn't exist on any map." Blake finished. Tori snapped her head to the Navy Ranger. " And it rises from the sea, like, once every two hundred years or something."
" Then what?" Dustin asked, being serious for once.
" Well, that's the part that's kind of harsh." The Navy Ranger replied.
Tori's mouth fell open. She realized what Blake was telling the group." You're telling us this whole place is sinking back into the ocean?" She concluded, shocked at the news that came from her mouth. Lucy snapped her head towards Tori with widened eyes.
" I told you; you didn't want to know," Blake said, squinting to see the Rangers. He didn't want to waste any more time being so close to the ocean or to the hunting Crimson Ranger.
" We better find some higher ground," Shane said. They started to walk away from the beach.
Hunter groaned, rolling his head around. He'd been stumbling around the island, trying to find his traitor of a brother and friend but to no luck. " Blake…where are you?" He questioned, swinging his enlarged staff around. " Must destroy the enemy." Hunter staggered, swinging his staff once more.
Choobo watched from his stance higher up than Hunter. " That's right." Choobo agreed. " Thunder Ranger Blake is the enemy. Lead me right to them." He stared at Hunter.
The Crimson Ranger wobbled down the rocks. " Must destroy," He growled.
" Is anyone else worried that we haven't seen Hunter for hours?" Dustin asked, holding his stick.
Crystal painfully hit the ground. She fell back, ignoring the dulled thudding of her ribs. Lucy took the ground next to her, her legs curled underneath her." Nope, I need a break from getting my ass kicked," The Silver Ranger muttered, hunched over. Blake turned to her, an unpleasant look written across his face. " Hey, don't give me that look. Your brother isn't playing well with others right now."
" Look, Hunter's a great Ranger. One day you are going to be happy that he has the powers," Blake defended his brother.
Crystal opened her eyes and squinted to glance at the Navy Ranger. " That's if he stops trying to kill of us," She fought back.
" How did you even get them?" Tori questioned, taking the ground next to Dustin. The Yellow Ranger was currently playing in the dirt with the long stick he found on the walk to the top.
" What?" Blake asked, looking interested at Tori.
Tori leaned heavily on her leg. " Your powers, you never really told us how any of that happened," She said, squinting at Blake.
" Well, it's a long story, are you sure you want to hear it?" Blake questioned.
Crystal, Lucy, and Tori nodded. " Yeah, either it's that or watching Dustin play in the dirt." Shane laughed. Dustin threw the stick away.
" Sensei Omino was the one who taught our parents the way of the Thunder ninja. After they… passed away, he brought us to the Thunder Academy. Helped us get through everything. We felt like we belonged again." Blake started " We both did really well in our training. Sensei Omino; he was grooming us for something, but we didn't know what."
" So that is when Lothor showed up?" Dustin asked, looking out to the ocean.
" Yeah," Blake agreed. " Our school was attacked. Monsters and kelzaks were everywhere. Sensei gave us our morphers, he told us what to do. Only at that moment did he get captured by Lothor." Blake continued. " He captures us right after. He took us up to his ship, holding us with the other students,"
" When you go into one of those ball things, what's it feel like? Is it like going off a freestyle ramp?" Dustin asked.
Shane interrupted. " Not the point, dude." He glanced down at the Yellow Ranger.
"Oh no, um sorry, continue," Dustin said, motioning for Blake to finish his story.
" Once we got on Lothor's ship, he was really twinked that the Ranger powers were passed on to us. That's when he told us the lie about our parents." The Navy Ranger finished.
" That's when you went all medieval on us, huh?" Shane concluded.
" Let's not go there again," Tori said.
" You gotta understand." Blake uncrossed his arms. " Hunter's a good person, but if he believes someone's wronged him; he would stop until he makes it right."
" Okay, we get that," Dustin spoke. " Why is he taking it out on us?" He inquired, holding his stick once more.
" Choobo used some sort of mind erase to make us think that you were our enemies," Blake answered.
" How come you snapped out of it?" Shane asked, nodding to him.
" I guess I had more help remembering who our friends were," Blake said. He looked at Tori, who smiled.
" Then that's what Hunter needs. A good ole punch to the head," Lucy said, standing up and walking over to Blake. The Navy ranger eyed her carefully. " Not really a punch to the head," She clarified.
Crystal struggled to get up. Shane and Blake came to her rescue, pulling her to her feet. " No, but we better find him." She breathed out, leaning on the two. They started to help her down the hill. The Silver and Blue Rangers followed, leaving Dustin behind.
" Do we have to?" Dustin asked. Shane reached over, yanking the Yellow Ranger from his spot.
Hunter growled, clawing through the dirt. His head was throbbing and his muscles ached. He wanted to stop but he knew that he had to find Blake to end it. " What's happened… to me?" He desperately asked, glancing around. The fire that fueled him in the first place;
" Do we really have to go over it again?" Choobo set his staff on the ground. He stopped in front of Hunter. The Thunder Ranger pushed his hands into the dirt to gaze at the green alien. " Repeat after me; the Rangers are your enemy. Your brother betrayed you. Say it." He ordered. " Blake betrayed you."
Hunter breathed. " Blake betrayed me." He muttered, seething after the sentence. He felt the fire in him crackle to life. He was gonna finish it.
" That's right." Choobo agreed as he crouched out. " Blake: bad. Choobo: good." Hunter pushed himself up onto all fours. He reached up and using Choobo's staff to push himself to his feet. " Now, pull yourself together and find them." He commanded. " I want to be home in time for my cartoons."
Hunter turned and staggered away. He leaned against a rock for a seconds. standing to his full height, Hunter lifted his staff above him. " No more Rangers." He laughed, rushed off.
" Man this island reeks," Dustin complained. All the Rangers were walking on the side of a small hill, near the ocean. Crystal was walking on her own, which meant she was getting better. The rest of the Rangers were hoping to find Hunter and the general before the Crimson Ranger took all of them down by himself. " Hey look." Crystal pointed out. She saw Hunter rolling down a hill and heard him yell.
" Blake? Blake?!"
They were going to rush over to the crazed Thunder Ranger when a blast went off in front of them. They heard evil laughing and saw Super Toxipod walking towards them. " You guys better bail because I'm one bad snail." The snail said, his voice gruff.
" If you're a snail, how come you look more like a crab?" Dustin asked, smiling. He, Shane and Tori all fell into fighting stances. Blake was still and the Eclipse ninjas were in front of him.
" Crab, Snail whatever." The creature spat, firing lasers at the rangers. Everyone backflipped. Crystal and Lucy cartwheeled to avoid the blast.
" I say it is time to plug this slug," Shane growled. " Ready?"
" Ready." Tori and Dustin answered.
Ninja Storm, Ranger Form
Thunder Storm, Ranger Form
Eclipse Storm, Ranger Form
Power of Earth.
Power of Water.
Power of Air.
Power of Thunder.
Guardian of the Sun
Guardian of the Moon
" Ninja swords!" The winds yelled. They pulled out their sword. Crystal and Lucy pulled out their rapiers. Blake called on his weapon; his pincers.
" I can take you all!" The monster cried. He ran forward.
" Dream on, snail trail," Blake said. The Wind Rangers and the sisters ran passed him. " Ninja Shadow Battle!''
Each Ranger hit the monster once. Dustin, Shane, Tori, Crystal, Lucy then Blake. The cycle repeated once more, ending with Blake catching the monster around the waist in his pinchers. "Where's Hunter?" He asked the sparking monster. He was going to get answers.
" Why do you care, you are never going to get off this island." Toxipod spat.
" Never is a long time, dude," Crystal called. Blake tossed Toxipod into the air and in the middle of the square that was formed. The Winds were on once side, their Storm Striker formed and ready to fire. The Thunder Ranger faced the three. The sisters stood next to each other, both still holding their rapiers.
" Ready!" Shane said.
" Aim." Tori cried.
" Fire!" Dustin yelled.
Shane pulled the trigger of the Storm Striker. A 10-ton metal ball shot from the weapon and hit Toxipod right in the stomach. " Argh!'' The monist cried out. " That is not in the script." With that the snail as gone. The Wind and Eclipse Rangers ran over to meet Blake. All visors snapped open. Crystal and Lucy pulled their helmets off.
" Everyone okay?" Shane asked. He was met with mixed responses, but his team was intact.
" Where's Hunter?" Blake asked, once more worried about his older brother's life. He glanced around. " Where are you?" He yelled.
" You!" Hunter ran over to the Rangers, yelling and wildly swinging. Shane, Tori, Dustin, Crystal, and Lucy were all pushed to the side. Blake stuck his hand up but Hunter slashed downward, causing sparks to erupt from his suit. Hunter tried to swing again. Blake stopped it with his gauntlet then wrapped his arm around. " Hunter, snap out of it." He tried. " Lothor's done something to you." He pleaded.
" Liar." Hunter shot back, struggling for his weapon.
" Listen to me." Blake tried to put his hand on Hunter's shoulder.
Hunter moved back. He growled. " No more lies." He finally got his staff back from Blake then proceeded to try and hit the Navy Ranger. Crystal rammed into him, drawing his attention from the Navy Ranger. Hunter growled, stepping towards the female ninja. She ran forward, tackling him to the ground. But the Crimson Ranger was stronger, pushing the Gold Ranger off of him. He slowly climbed to his feet while Blake helped Crystal to her feet.
" Blake and Crystal need us," Shane commented.
Choobo ran in front of the four Rangers. " Not so fast." He stopped them. " I want to play." He laughed and charged the four.
Hunter lifted his staff and brought it down on Blake, who stopped it with his forearms. The Crimson Ranger pushed down the staff, pushing Blake's arms to his chest. " Hunter!" Blake snapped at him. " You've got to trust me." His feet were swept from under him. He fell on his back.
Hunter climbed on top of him. " Why should I?" He barked. He held his staff to Blake's neck.
Crystal tried to pry him off but Hunter didn't even budge. He was more focused on his brother rather than the girl behind him. When Crystal didn't stop pestering him, Hunter flipped her to the ground, hard. She groaned, coughing while rolling over. Hunter went back to focusing on Blake.
" Hey!" Choobo yelled. He struck the Wind rangers. " Hey." He laughed, watching them fall to the ground. Lucy stood in front of the Rangers, her rapier drawn.
" Not good." Shane looked over at the brothers.
Lucy seethed at Choobo under her helmet. " Now…now I'm mad," She ran at the general, striking him in the stomach. She whipped around, hitting his back. She bend backward, avoiding his swing. She brought her rapier around, striking the general in the legs.
" Hunter, please." Blake gasped, staring at his brother in the helmet.
" You betrayed me and now you will pay for your betrayal." Hunter pushed down on the staff that was on Blake's shoulder.
" It was Choobo and Lothor," Blake told him. " They betrayed us. Think, Hunter, think." Hunter breathed as his head filled with memories. Blake peered over to see Crystal climbed to her feet. The girl was shaky in her actions, but the thumbs up told him she was gonna be fine. Blake turned back to his brother, who shook his head in pain. The Crimson Ranger kept shaking his head. " Think, Hunter, think. You're under some kind of spell." He convinced him.
" You're confusing me," Hunter stated. " No more ninja tricks." He raised his staff.
" That's it," Crystal muttered. She dashed forward. Her foot collided with his torso, sending him over. Hunter turned to her, intending on attacking her. " Hunter, you have to think." She held a hand out, stopping him from attacking. Her other hand was wrapped around her rapier hilt on her back. She stopped, huffing through grit teeth. " You gotta think," She fell to her knees.
" You're my brother," Blake yelled to him. He moved to help the Gold Ranger.
" I don't have a brother," Hunter responded, his blaster in hand. Crystal tried to stay planted. Hunter shot at the two but Blake shoved Crystal sideways; taking the hits.
Blake hit the ground and gazed up at Hunter. " Alright, enough is enough," Blake uttered to himself. Crystal looked up from her spot. Both ninjas watched Hunter charge. The Navy Ranger stood up. " Looks like it's time for some tough love." He reached back and grabbed his staff. Blake blocked Hunter's hit; dodging Hunter's upper hit and hitting him in the stomach. Blake turned and strike down. Sparks flew from Hunter's suit. The Crimson Ninja lost his footing and fell to the ground. Blake sat on top of him with his staff pressed to Hunter's neck. " Now you're going to listen and you're gonna listen good." Blake breathed. Hunter's chest rose up and down heavily. Blake held the staff in place. " Hunter. Your name is Hunter." Blake leaned closer to him. " You're my brother. Come on, man, shake it off." He shook Hunter's shoulder. " Shake it off."
" No, you're lying to me." Hunter denied. " I know the truth." Hunter threw Blake off. Blake rolled away. Crystal ran over to him, her rapier drawn. " Something's wrong." Hunter groaned, holding his head. " My head." Hunter stood up and held his head. He breathed, shaking his head. Memories started to flood Hunter's head.
Blake and him, when they were young, at the academy with Sensei Omino.
The two brothers at the beach.
Blake and him laughing at Storm Chargers.
Crystal laughing at him when they were in the forest as she reached for her helmet. " Hunter, I need that. Just…come back. I don't want to keep fighting you,"
Hunter groaned, shaking his head again. " It's coming back." He stated. His head pounded harder. Hunter turned to Blake and Crystal. His morph shattered. He breathed. " I remember." He muttered. His eyes rolled to the back of his head. He fell to his knees then the ground.
Blake's visor snapped open. " Hunter," Blake called.
" Oh, no, you don't." Choobo stepped forward, watching Hunter break the mind control.
Lucy smirked. " Oh, yeah they do." She charged him. Her rapier lit silver. She slid past him, her weapon slamming into his stomach. Choobo groaned and turned, only for the Silver Ranger to slash upwards and flip back.
" Ninja Power Attack." The three Winds called out. They struck Choobo after he turned around.
Shane pressed a few buttons on his sword. " Ninja sword." He called. His sword lit. " Power up." He sliced across Choobo, sending the general into a fit of lighting. Everyone cheered.
Choobo sparked. He groaned. " I'll be back, Rangers." He pointed his staff at the four rangers that were standing in front of him. He turned around. " Now, how do I get outta here?" He panicked.
" Hey," Tori called
Dustin yelled at the same time. " Wait."
" Time to make like a banana and split." Choobo disappeared.
The Rangers lifted their arms. " Ninja form." All four ordered. Shane and Tori stepped closer to Dustin.
" Guess Choobo didn't feel like sticking around for an encore." Tori laughed.
Shane chuckled. " Yeah and that crab is toast." He smiled.
Lucy raised an eyebrow when Dustin rubbed his stomach. " Man, why have I got this sudden craving for seafood?" He asked, making all heads turn to him. Everyone laughed.
Tori turned her attention over to the three that were on the other side of the beach. " Look there's Hunter, Blake, and Crystal." She spoke. Everyone ran over.
" Come on," Blake muttered. He sat on top of his brother. He and Crystal managed to roll Hunter over to his back. " No. Come on, bro. Stay with me."
Hunter gurgled, grabbing Blake's right arm. " Dude, I kind of need to breathe at some point here." He garbled. Blake let go and chuckled, climbing off his brother. Both him and Crystal helped Hunter into a sitting position. The four other Rangers ran up. " Thanks, guys." Hunter smiled. Blake brushed off some of the sand off the crimson uniform. Shane, Tori, Dustin, and Lucy stopped in front of the two. Crystal moved over to her sister.
" He's back to being Hunter." Tori squinted to peer at the blond.
Dustin turned to her. " Good Hunter or bad Hunter?" He asked.
Lucy shrugged, her hands finding her hips. " I don't know."
" Do you know who we are?" Shane asked, looking at the brothers.
" Yeah," Hunter answered. " My friends." He smiled. The three Winds looked at each other.
" So I've had some time to think," Lucy spoke up. That drew everyone's attention to her. She was sitting on a rock behind Crystal, who seemed to be meditating. Tori sat next to the Gold Ranger, watching Shane pace around. Blake, Hunter, and Dustin all sat around, watching the whole team.
" That's always dangerous," Crystal muttered, not opening her eyes.
Lucy leaned down, flicking Crystal's head. She turned back to the team. " In the hours we have been here, I have concluded that…we're all gonna die here," Everyone just stared at her. " What?" She asked. " It's a reasonable conclusion." She argued.
Crystal opened her eyes. " There's another reasonable conclusion to come to is," Everyone turned to her. " We drown," She stated. The indifferent stares that were sent to the Gold Ranger told her that her answer wasn't correct. " Or the resident genius in Ops manages to find us," Crystal's morpher beeped. " And contact us," She lifted her arm while everyone jumped to stand around her. " Cam?" Crystal questioned.
" No, it is the phone company, I want to know if you are happy with your long-distance service." Cam sarcastically asked. Everyone started to chuckle.
Crystal snorted." Disappointing. I try and try and I can't hear anything," She stopped then gasped. " Am I going deaf?" She whispered into her morpher.
" Are they always this, uh, funny?'' Hunter asked, leaning over to Lucy. He looked at Crystal.
Lucy shook her head, smiling. " We don't know Cam that well."
" No, you're not going deaf, Crystal," The genius answered her.
Crystal breathed a fake sigh of relief. " Oh, thank god," She smiled. " We're fine, by the way," She stated. " Thanks for asking,"
" Are the Thunder ninjas with you?" Sensei asked.
" Right here, Sensei." The Gold Ranger responded.
" Excellent, I must speak to them upon your return," The guinea pig stated.
" Which brings up your next problem, your on an island that is sinking fast. " Cam changed topics. " You need to find a way off."
" Nah, love me some good island hopping," Crystal scoffed. " I think we're having a grand ole time on this sinking island that might freeze the world." She joked. " I might make this my vacation spot,"
" You'll be dead in two hundred years," Lucy pointed out. Crystal's fake smile fell. She turned to her sister, deadpan look written across her face. " Oh, got it," She chuckled.
" How about the gliders?" Dustin asked, grabbing Crystal's wrist.
" No, the atmospheric pressure is too unstable," Cam responded. " It wouldn't be safe,"
" How about the Zords?" Blake asked.
" Good idea, Blake," Sensei answered.
" Okay, they're on their way. I just have to check the structural integrity to make sure that they can stand the water pressures." Cam informed the group.
Shane piped up. " Okay, we'll be ready," He replied.
Crystal walked away from the group. " Cam, did you unlock the portals to the Eclipse zords?" She asked quietly.
" No, I haven't. The locks are more sophisticated than the others," Cam replied. " You'll have to ride with the others. Sorry."
" It's fine." Crystal replied, cutting the connection. She turned back around. " Your move, leader,"
" Wait!" Hunter said, making everyone turn to him.
Dustin sighed. " Oh no,"
" I just wanted to say it means a lot, the way you guys stood up for me," Hunter said, meeting Crystal's gaze.
The blonde smiled. " Hey, that is what friends do." She replied.
Shane cleared his throat. " Before this turns into a group hug. Let's go." He said, beginning to walk away.
After reaching a certain point on the island, all the Rangers stopped when they saw the 50-foot version of Super Toxipod. " Are you kidding me?" Crystal groaned, completely done with the monster." He smells weird," She complained.
" You guys ready for this?" Shane asked.
" Ready." Dustin and Tori answered. Crystal and Lucy nodded.
" Ready," Hunter replied.
Ninja Storm, Ranger Form
Thunder Storm, Ranger Form
Ninja Ranger Power.
" Hey Cam, how about those zords?" Crystal asked, looking down at her morpher.
" On their way," Cam responded.
" Let's do it," Shane ordered. Everyone streaked off to their cords. Both sisters watched from their spots on the ground. The Winds combined to create their Megazord. They also stared at the Thunder zords becoming their own Megazord.
Super Toxipod laughed. " Hey, Rangers." He pointed to the zords. " You're going to be sorry you ever crossed my snail trail." He spit fire, surrounding the megazords. The heat of the fire caused the Megazords to spark.
" Dude, it's hot," Dustin commented. " It's, like, Africa hot." After talking, the Megazords started to spin, causing the fires to go out.
" What?" Super Toxipod screeched. He stared at the Rangers after they dealt with the fire.
" Spin Blade," Hunter ordered. The sphere popped out and open.
" Lighting Mode, engaged," Shane called out. The sleeker Megazord came through and both were battle-ready.
Thunders went first. They stopped the staff with their blade before striking down. Sparks went everywhere." Ahhh, quit it." Super Toxipod ordered. The Thunder Megazord delivered the specialty blow. It made Super Toxipod stagger back and spark with red lighting. The Wind Megazord used the arm of the darker Megazord to push off and land a double kick on the snail. The sleeker Megazord flipped over and pushed off of the Thunders' hand again, making the zords fly. " It's time you came out of your shell." Shane punned. The blades hit Super Toxipod. The Megazord flipped then cartwheeling. The sleeker Megazord kneeled on one knee. They crossed their blades while Super Toxipod sparked more.
The snail screamed. He hit the ground in a fit of sparks.
" Now, that's what I call a crab feast." Shane joked. He heard something on the shoulder of the Megazord.
" All you can eat." Tori played along.
" Detonation of the crustacean." Dustin laughed.
" Let's go home," Lucy muttered. She knelt on the Wind Megazord. Crystal nodded from her position on the Thunder Megazord's shoulder.
The Megazords entered the water as the island finally sank, leaving the world to go back to the normal weather that inhabited that part. Crystal breathed, lifting her helmeted head up to the sun.
The evil Rangers saga was over.
" Hey, Kel." Dustin greeted. He, Hunter, Blake, and Crystal walked into the store.
Crystal walked over to the store owner and helped her pick up the box. Kelly smiled at her, turning to Dustin. " Well, look what the cat dragged in." She stood up from the ground.
" Kel, I can explain." Dustin pressed his hands together. " I was kind of stuck in the middle of nowhere…"
" It wasn't his fault," Hunter spoke up, saving the earth ninja from the red head's wrath. " He was helping us out."
Kelly huffed. She picked up a few shirts. " You could've called or emailed." She shot back. She struggled with the shirts.
" You gotta understand." Dustin walked closer to the woman. " If there was any way, I would've been here." He spoke. Kelly took down the sign that was up. Crystal walked over and took the shirts from her. " I'm really sorry."
" Dustin's telling you the truth," Blake spoke up. Kelly stopped what she was doing. " As for my brother and me. Well, we know we let you down a bunch of times." Kelly rolled her eyes as she picked up a few things. " We're through with that. We want to start over." He told her.
" We'll make it up to you. We promise." Hunter promised. Crystal looked at them then at the redhead. She huffed. Crystal shook her head, taking care of a few more boxes.
" Well, I'm still kinda shorthanded." Kelly thought, placing her hands on her hips. " I could do with some stock boys." Crystal covered her mouth with her hand before she fell behind the counter, almost in a fit of giggles.
" Stock boys?" Hunter asked.
" You know, someone to open boxes…clean the floors at night." Kelly listed off the jobs. Crystal inhaled too quickly and was left coughing on the ground. " You okay?" Kelly asked, worried for her only female employee. Crystal nodded, pulling herself up by the counter.
" I was thinking more along the lines of head mechanic…" Hunter was stopped by Blake.
" We'll take it." Blake smiled.
" Great." Kelly smiled. " Well, you can start by helping me clean up this mess." She suggested.
Hunter started to walk over to her but was stopped by Dustin. " We just got one more thing to take care of." He said. " And we'll be back in like, half an hour. I promise." He promised. Kelly groaned. All three boys ran out of the store. Dustin ran back in.
Crystal turned to him." I'm saving my job."
" Whoa, wait a minute," Shane spoke up after Hunter and Blake explained their choice. " Let me get this straight. After all we went through, you guys just want to walk away from being Rangers?" He asked.
" We have too," Hunter answered.
" Lothor isn't going to let us rest until he destroys us." Blake continued.
" Join the club, dude," Dustin replied, motioning to Lucy, who only nodded.
" We can't risk anything happening to you because of us," Hunter spoke up. " You're the only thing standing in between Lothor and millions of innocent people."
Lucy coughed. " You guys were given an amazing gift," She spoke up. " Yeah, Lothor after you, he's after all of us, but that doesn't stop us from doing what's right,"
" Lucy's right, we've been given a gift, isn't your responsibility to use it?" Tori looked at the boys.
" Tori and Lucy are right." Sensei agreed. " Hunter, Blake. Sensei Omino knew the Thunder Ranger powers were meant for you." He told them. " But I cannot force you to live up to your responsibility."
" So, what do you say?" Shane asked, walking over to in between Tori and Dustin. He grabbed their shoulders and pulled them into a hug. " You guys in or not?"
Hunter and Blake glanced at each other. It was going to be a long thought process.
