Ninja Storm: Rise of the Eclipse- Chapter 10: Return of the Thunder: Part IV

A few days after the island incident, the brothers were helping Crystal and Dustin with the stock day. The two Rangers were each carrying two boxes into the building. The Gold Ranger was cutting them open and sorting. Dustin stood with Crystal, the two digging into the boxes." This the last of the new stuff?" Hunter asked Kelly, walking by her.
" You guys are doing great." The redhead smiled, leaning against the counter. " Keep it up and you never know." She hinted, walking away.
" I'm not enjoying this," Crystal muttered, standing over a box. She pulled a pair of scissors from the back pocket of her jeans. Dustin held the box while Crystal sliced through the tape. When the two Rangers opened it, the Gold Ranger raised an eyebrow. " What?" She muttered, digging further in. " Oh," She scratched her head. " Surfing gear,"
Dustin laughed at his coworker, walking over the Thunders. That left Crystal to open more boxes. " Haha. How goes life in the workforce?" He asked, clasping hands with Blake. He clasped hands with Hunter.
" It's all good," Blake answered, smiling. " Thanks for the hookup." He looked at the Yellow Ranger. " Yeah, we own you both one." The taller blond agreed with his brother.
Crystal set her scissor down, walking over to the three. " Never say that in front of Dustin." The Yellow Ranger reached over and flicked her shoulder. The blonde laughed, returning to the boxes. " You, uh, want an easy way to repay me?" Dustin asked.
Both Thunder ninjas turned back to the Earth ninja. " If it involves morphers and Megazords, we're still thinking," Hunter replied.
Dustin threw his arms over their shoulders. " I know the whole Sensei guinea pig thing seems a little out there. But once you get past the big teeth and the clothes and the talking, it's not that unusual." He told the two. Crystal walked over with a box.
" On what planet is it not unusual?" Hunter sarcastically asked.
" Look, it's nothing to do with Sensei, alright?" Blake informed him. " It's just, uh, we got a big decision." He motioned to him and his brother. " But we won't keep you having, okay?" He patted Dustin on the chest.
" Cool, hey, you guys still riding later?" Dustin asked, pointing at the two.
" After work," Hunter responded. " Meet us at the beach."
" All over it," Dustin replied. Crystal nodded. She left to the counter to check people out. The brothers left the store.
Lucy huffed, rolling her eyes. She stood beside Cam and Tori near the supercomputer in Ninja Ops. She turned her head, finding Shane on his skateboard, practicing tricks. " I'm confused," Cam stated. " Does it now say 'Skate park' outside the secret entrance?" Tori chuckled.
" Sorry." Shane apologized, picking his board up.
" Someone knew what they were doing when they built these Thunder zords," Cam muttered. Shane walked over and stopped behind Lucy. " The technology's amazing." All four looked at the schematic of the Thunder Megazord.
" Yeah, now all we need is someone to drive them." Tori sighed.
Sensei walked over. " Blake and Hunter will follow their destiny." He told the four. " Whatever that may be."
" That's weird," Cam commented.
" What?" Lucy asked, looking at the layout.
" Finally find something you can't figure out?" Shane asked, looking over at the boy in green.
" No," Cam answered. Tori smiled. " I've scanned the Thunder zords for damage and I keep coming up with this nonfunctional retrofit." He explained.
Shane and Tori looked over at him. " Can you repeat that with few syllables?" She stared at him.
" A part that doesn't function but is apart of the overall design of the zords," Lucy answered. Everyone looked over at her. " I took an engineering class during my freshman year. Then I switch to art." She explained.
" I'd love to what the deal is with it," Cam muttered, rubbing his chin.
Shane raised an eyebrow. " Wouldn't that count as something you can't figure out?" He asked. Tori smothered her smile. Cam turned his head to him.
Later that day, Hunter and Blake rode to the beach. They swerved down the ocean. The crimson boy went further inland than Blake. The younger Bradley spun water at Hunter. The navy boy popped a wheelie, speeding off and turning his bike as did his brother. They revived their bikes making the back wheels dig into the sand. Both boys pulled off their googles then their helmets.
" Man, I could get used to this," Blake commented. He looked around. Hunter swung his leg over his bike. " So that's a vote for staying." He glanced at his brother. He looked out into the ocean.
" It seems like everything we've been through must be for a reason." Blake crossed his arms.
Hunter groaned. " Don't get all zen on me, dude." He tapped Blake's shoulder. He turned away, walking over to his brother's bike.
" Hey, we both know it's the right thing to do." Blake turned towards his brother.
A zapping noise was heard. Both turned around. " To Ranger to not to Ranger," Choobo spoke up. " What a stupid question,"
Hunter walked closer to his brother. " Yo, dude, private conversation." He shot back.
" Yeah, what do you want anyway?" Blake questioned.
" I'm thinking…" Choobo tapped his head. " Revenge," He snarled. He released shots that hit behind Blake and Hunter. Both boys jumped to the side, avoiding the blast. Choobo laughed. The blond and the brunet breathed.

Both fell into a stance, ready for anything. " Here, let me give you a hand." Choobo pressed his hands together, shooting them out. Two hands shot out from his backpack. Hunter and Blake watched the hands gripped them, pulling them into the backpack. The backpack snapped shut. " Two Thunder Rangers on ice." He joked. " Who's the evil genius now?" He pointed to himself. He laughed.
Hunter and Blake looked around. A purple fog covered everything. B. " Nice look," Blake commented. " Early dungeon." He joked.
A growling noise caught Hunter's attention. A green blob came at the two rangers, hitting them. It came back before going up. It continued to hit the two. They fell to the grassy ground. " Your powers are no good here," Choobo told them. " My ultimate realm might seem scary at first, but you'll get used to it…" Choobo slammed his stick down on the ground. " After a few hundred years." He exclaimed.
" Sorry, but we won't be staying." Blake curled his hand, throwing it down to his side.
" Hold up." Hunter placed his hand on Blake's shoulder. " We gotta be careful. This is his house." He informed his brother.
" That's right, little Ranger." Choobo agreed. " And you'll never get out. But don't worry, after I capture the other Rangers, you'll have plenty of company."
" Not going to happen." Hunter stepped in front of Blake.
" You will learn to respect me," Choobo commanded. " Or you will suffer a fate worse than you can imagine." He disappeared. " Now, take a whiff of this." He blew out a large gust of wind.
" Nasty." Hunter covered his face.
" Gross." Blake tried not to breathe in the air.
Dustin popped a wheelie on his bike. He and Crystal were racing to the beach. So far, the Brewer was winning by a long shot. Placing his wheels on the ground, Dustin slowed his bike. He reached where Crystal was stopped. He stopped a few feet from where Crystal had parked her bike and pulled off his helmet.
" You see them anywhere?" Crystal asked. She was checking the lonely bikes.
Dustin looked around. " This is too weird." He commented.
" Their bikes are still warm." Crystal had a hand against the engine of Hunter's bike. " They haven't been gone long, but it's weird that their bikes are alone. We need to go tell the others," The blonde placed her helmet back on and slipped onto her bike. She led Dustin back to Ninja Ops.
" Hunter and Blake aren't the most reliable guys, but leaving their bikes?" Shane asked. " No way." He looked at everyone. Dustin and Crystal had returned from the beach, explaining the whole situation to the rest of the team.
Tori turned to Dustin. " I don't know about you, but I smell a rodent." She then turned to Sensei. " No offense Sensei."
" None taken, Tori," Sensei replied. " I, too, suspect foul play."
" It may have something to do with this." Lucy pointed out. Everyone walked closer to the supercomputer. Choobo was in the middle of the forest, his eye's closed and he was muttering.
Cam pushed his glasses up. " I'm assuming he's not there for the scenery."
" I don't know, dude." Dustin pointed to the screen. " That place is kind of cool. Especially this time of year." Everyone looked at him with skeptical looks. " Right." He and Shane moved to stand in a straight line. " Ready."
" Ready."

Speeding through the forest at top speed, was something that Crystal didn't have on her bucket list. Especially when she was riding on someone else bike. She sat behind Shane, which terrified her a little more. She turned her helmeted head to find Lucy holding on to Tori. It didn't take a mind reader to see that Lucy wasn't comfortable either. Shane stopped in front of the green general with Tori and Dustin stopped behind him. All five Rangers climbed off the bikes and faced the general. Shane pointed to him. " Where are our friends?" He demanded.
" Why don't you join them." Choobo stood up. " There's room for five more."
" We'll pass but thanks." Shane denied.
Choobo whined and turned. " I'm hurt but not surprised." Choobo turned back to the Rangers. " How about some new playmates instead?" He asked. " Kelzaks." He ordered. Kelzaks flashed into battle.
Each ninja took on their own pack. Crystal hand sprung forward, slicing through kelzaks. She rolled to the ground, standing up. She was tackled by kelzaks in an instant.
Lucy backhand sprang to avoid hits. She fell to the ground, whipping all the kelzaks' feet from them. She stood up and breathe. She yelped when kelzaks tackled her to the ground. " There's too many." She struggled. She kicked and kicked but to no avail.
" I'll handle this." Tori whipped out her weapon; the Sonic Fin. She jumped from the ground up to a tree. " Hey. Kelzaks." She called, making every kelzak turn to her. " Wave bye-bye now." She ordered. All the kelzaks waved. In a sudden burst, all the henchmen were gone.
Shane, Dustin, Lucy, and Crystal scrambled back to their feet. " Storm Striker." The three Winds called out, piecing their weapons together.
" How does this strike you?" Choobo asked. He slammed the end of his staff down on to the ground. Suddenly, a larger version of the tip hit where the Rangers were standing. Crystal and Lucy flipped out of the way but the Wind rangers were pushed by the force.
" Everybody okay?" Shane asked, looking at his fellow ninjas. Everyone agreed. They stopped to catch their breath. Crystal and Lucy ran over the three. Shane's morpher beeped.
" Guys, I've locked onto Choobo's genetic encoding," Cam informed the Rangers. " And found the routing system for the cementing in his pack." He explained. " It's the key to releasing the Thunder Rangers."
" You guys get that?" Shane looked around.
" Yeah, right," Dustin replied.
" To get Hunter and Blake out, you need to slash the tubing that connects the control center on his chest to his backpack." Cam reiterated.
" Oh, the necklace." Lucy nodded.
" On it." All five ninjas ran in separate directions.
" Hey, where are you going?"
The Wind Rangers streaked over to the general, flipping. " Ninja…Power." They yelled, striking the tubing. Choobo screamed. Lighting surrounded him and his necklace fell off. He fell to the ground and the backpack opened. Two streaks flew out of the pack and landed in the quarry.
" That was weird," Hunter commented. They looked around. The two turned to find the Rangers running up to them.
" You guys okay?" Crystal questioned, stopping between the blond and brunet.
" We're fine." Hunter nodded to her.
Choobo jumped in on the reunion. Everyone fell into a stance." You Rangers and your teamwork cheeses me off." He seethed.
" You guys ready?" Shane asked, looking at the crimson and navy boys.
" Oh, yeah," Blake replied.
The Wind Rangers fell into a stance. One arm in front of the body and another overhead. " Wind Rangers."
" Thunder Rangers." Both grabbed both ends of their staff.
The sisters placed a hand on their hilts, facing inwards to each other. " Eclipse Rangers."
" Oh, how shocking." Choobo rolled his eyes. Orange lighting shot out of his eyes. When the smoke cleared, seven multicolored uniforms that were on the ground. " Oh, I hate it when they do that." He snarled. He whipped around.
Dustin whacked him with his hammer. Hunter and Tori ran at him with their blasters drawn. Choobo howled in pain. Blake jumped at him and wrapped his pincers around him. " Oh, not my love handles." He joked. Blake shocked him, jumping back. Crystal ran behind him and flipped over, slicing him in the backpack and shoulder. Lucy dove to the side and hit his leg.
" Ninja air attack," Shane commanded. He flew around Choobo and sliced at him. He pushed back, flipping and landing on the ground. Everyone ran to him.
" Let's do it," Hunter suggested, holding his blaster.
" Yeah." Shane agreed. The Rangers put their weapons together. In a second, they had created the Storm Striker and the Thunder Blaster.
" Wait." Choobo stalled.
Shane stood straighter. " What now?" He asked impatiently.
" I want to have a puppet show." Choobo laughed. He pointed to himself. " I'll be the puppeteer and you'll be my puppets." He shot strings out that wrapped around the Wind Rangers.
" What's happening?" Shane asked, frantically glancing around.
" This way," Choobo ordered. He pulled the Wind Rangers to him. They set up their stance so their blaster was facing the Eclipse and Thunder Rangers.
Crystal scratched her helmet. " I have a sneaky suspicion that he really hates us,"
" What gave it away?" Hunter questioned her, his visor facing her. Blake let go of the blaster but stayed kneeling.
" I have a feeling it's just built-up tension," Lucy joined in, her hands finding her hips.
" I'm holding the strings were," Choobo snarled, cutting the conversation short. " Now, do what I do." He curled his index finger.
Shane's finger resisted the action. " No, I won't do it." He strained.
Lucy looked over at Hunter and Blake. " Choobo's going down." Hunter placed the blaster back on Blake's shoulder.
" Hunter, be careful," Blake advised. " If you hit the Rangers, it could strip them of their powers."
"We don't have any choice, bro," Hunter responded.
" He's got a point, right?" Choobo patted Shane's helmet.
The three Winds struggled against Choobo's orders. " Hunter, go for it," Shane ordered. " I can't fight him much longer." He breathed. Blake stood up. Hunter looked at him. " Can you do it?" The Navy Ranger asked.
Both Eclipse Rangers watched Hunter's finger moved his finger from the trigger. " No." Hunter sighed. He lifted the blaster. " I can't risk it." He tossed the weapon down to the ground. It split apart and settled.
" I knew you didn't have it in you." Choobo pointed to the crimson ninja. " Two powerless Thunder and Eclipse Rangers." He lifted his hand. It started to glow. An electric shock flowed through the Wind rangers. They grunted to get away from the force.
" Ahh, hold on." Shane breathed.
" I can't," Dustin told him.
" It's too strong," Tori complained.
" What are you doing?" Choobo asked, watching the Wind ninjas rise from their spots. " I said, you're supposed to listen to me."
" Duck," Hunter yelled. He went for his blaster, rolling on the ground to grab it. The Wind Rangers ducked. The Crimson Ranger fired shots, hitting Choobo. Blake used his brother's shoulder to push off, kicking Choobo in the chest.
The general fell to the ground while the Rangers regrouped. Tori stood straight after leaning on her knees. " Nice more you guys." She smiled.
Dustin nodded his head. " Yeah, definitely smooth." He agreed.
Shane stepped up to match the Thunder Ranger. " Good job, Hunter." He congratulated.
" No worries." The Crimson Ranger replied.
" Hello!" Choobo stood up. " I'm still working here." He called out.
Crystal stood in front of the team. " See, I think that's the problem," She backed up, meeting her sister behind the Rangers. " That and I think you talk way too much,"
" Let's try this again." Shane held up the Storm Striker. Hunter and Blake recreated the Thunder Blaster. The sisters stayed behind the two teams.
" Fire." Shane and Hunter yelled. They pulled the trigger of their weapons. The two balls swirled, combining and smacking Choobo in the body. The smoke cleared to Choobo both laughed and coughed at the same time.
" Aw, man," Hunter complained.
" Don't count me out yet." Choobo stood wobbling on his feet. " I still have one trick up my sleeve." Everyone looked at him in shock. He pulled a scroll out. " This scroll of Empowerment." He tossed it in the air. " Now you're gonna get it," Choobo started to grow larger. His voice got deeper. " They said, I'd make it big someday," He growled.
" Cam, it's zord time," Shane ordered.
" They're on their way," Cam replied.
Hunter's zord came barreling out of a hill while Blake's jumped over as the Wind zords appeared next to them. The five Rangers disappeared into their zords. Crystal and Lucy demorphed and streaked up to the cliff to get a better view. In a matter of seconds, all zords combined to create the Storm Megazord and the Thunder Megazord.
Choobo turned around. " Things are about to get a little sticky for you, Rangers." He spun his staff around, charging. The Thunder Megazord grabbed the pinchers on its chest and blocked the hit. Choobo knocked the tool up in the air and struck down on the Thunders' twice. Yellow beams hit Choobo. He turned to see the Storm Megazord equipped with their blade and a blaster. He growled. The tool that the Thunder Megazord had flickered yellow. The spin blade appearing on it.
" Glad I took those spinning classes," Choobo commented. He started to spin around. The two Megazords went in to hit him. His staff kept hitting the Megazords, causing them to spark. The Thunder Megazord fell to the ground but the Storm Megazord was still standing. Tori pulled out the squid drill and it attached to the dog gun. The lion head started to spin as did the weapon.
" Bring it on." Choobo challenged. Light beams started to spit out of the Storm Megazord's weapon. Choobo spun his staff to avoid getting hit. The Thunder Megazord appeared right next to the Storm Megazord. Choobo opened his big mouth. A fire hit the Megazords directly, erupting sparks from both towering machines. They fell to the ground.
" Guys, that part I was telling you about; I figured out what it does," Cam exclaimed to the Rangers. " Check this out."
" Thanks, Cam. But how about filling us in on the big secret?" Lucy and Crystal heard Shane asked. Hunter agreed with him.
" The only way you're going to beat Choobo is to combine your Megazords," Cam informed the group.
" How, Cam?" Tori asked.
" Call the Mini-zord," Cam informed the piloting Rangers. " He was part of the program all along."
" The Mini-Zord?" Hunter asked, not believing the name.
" Trust me," Cam instructed.
" Yeah, I rule." Choobo stuck his hands in the air. The Megazords stood back up. Two spheres; gold and silver, popped out of both Megazords. They clonked together, popping open and piecing together.
Flying high above both Megazords was the Mini-zord. It had a crescent moon on its chest. It had a blue and silver body with gold shin guards. " I am Mini Zord." It introduced. Its voice sounded wonky and buzzy. " Storm Megazord, Thunder Megazord. Combine." He ordered. " Thunderstorm Megazord formation." He called out. His hands moved through different words.
The body of the Storm Megazord broke apart. The lion head moving to the front as the whole body twisted around. The Thunder Megazord broke in half before each piece broke in half, creating the feet and the arms. Mini Zord broke apart, becoming the head and fists. The Dolphin and Insect placed themselves on the shoulders. The dolphin head pulling apart. " How do you like us now?" Shane asked Choobo. " The bigger you are, the harder you fall."
Choobo moved and started to strike the Thunderstorm Megazord. After a few hits, Choobo's staff broke. " You broke my stick." He marveled. He stared at the broken half of his weapon. The Thunderstorm Megazord started to roll forward, startling the general. " Oh, so that's the way it's going to be." He growled. The general shot more lighting out of his eyes. The Thunderstorm Megazord blocked it, continuing to roll. A fist pushed the general back onto his butt. " That was your lucky shot." Choobo stood up.
A wire wrapped around the head of the lion. The arm of the Megazord yanked on it. The lion head charged up. It shot a powerful beam at Choobo. The beetle and dolphin joining in, all hitting the green monster.
" You always have to win, don't you?" Choobo asked. He screamed in pain. " You can't just let me have one…" Choobo was going to finish his sentence but was cut off when he started to spark. " Ahh. Mommy." He called out. He fell to the ground in a fit of sparks, blowing up.
" Yeah." Crystal and Lucy tapped gauntlets.
" I can't believe you said no," Dustin spoke up. He, Crystal, Hunter, and Blake returned from work. " Factory Blue… that's nuts. I mean, I can understand Crystal saying no but you guys, no way."
" We had something more important to do," Blake replied.
Crystal and Lucy walked over to the group. " And what could that be?" The blonde asked, scrunching her face. Tori chuckled at the face her friend was making.
" We're in," Hunter told them. Everyone started to cheer and hug each other.
They stopped when Sensei spoke up. " You have made a difficult decision." He told them. " I believe it was the correct one."
" Yeah, no lie, this is sweet." Dustin agreed. The eight, including Cam, pulled in for a hug.
" You're one of us now." Shane smiled.
