Breathing in the salty air, Lucy jogged around the beach. She was finishing her training for the day with a 5-mile run. The brunette slowed down, pulling an earbud while she listened to her breathing. She sat on a log, stretching out her legs. After a few seconds, red and crimson blurs flew in front of her. Startled, Lucy turned her head to find Shane and Hunter sparring.

Shane flip kicked Hunter back. The Crimson Ranger fell into his stance. Shane wiped his nose. " You never heard of cutting your losses?" He asked. Hunter frowned. The Red Ranger charged but Hunter and quicker and swept Shane's feet from under him. Shane landed with a yell. Hunter went for the chest. Shane blocked it but Hunter twisted his arm to behind his back.

" What losses?" Hunter leaned down. Shane grabbed Hunter's ankle and flipped him to the ground. The red ninja rolled over and stood up. After a few more moments of sparring, Shane hit Hunter's wrist, making the blond shove the boy away. He looked down, rubbing his wrist. " I thought we were sparring."

" Hey, if you can't keep up, we can get my sister over here." Shane joked. Lucy rolled her eyes, plugged her earbud back in. She stood up and walked behind the log. She bent over backward and started to lift up her right leg. Once it was in the air, she kicked it over and landed in the same position but her legs were switched. She landed on the ground and back bent once more, flipping over.

The Silver Ranger stood on both feet and bent over, reaching for the back of her legs. Her torso collapsed against her shins. She stood up from her spot, saw that the two boys were doing pushups then decided to leave.

Lucy walked over to the end of the rock and started to jog once more.

The younger Brewer walked into Storm Chargers. She walked over to Crystal, who was helping Dustin put the Total Trek banner up for everyone to see it. " The banner looks great," Tori commented. She touched the edged of it. Crystal climbed down from the ladder. " If you had surfing, I'd be all over this Total Trek," Tori commented.

Dustin looked over at her, fixing the sign. " You blowing everyone out of the water?" He asked, stepping over to face her.

" Ant the problem with that is?" Tori smiled. She, Dustin and the Eclipse ninjas walked over to Kelly, who had a poster up.

" Guys, check this course out," Kelly commented. She pulled out her pointer. " We start at the skate park the run to the motocross track then an urban climb to finish." She told the group. " You entering, Dustin?" She asked.

Dustin made a noise of disparagement, throwing his hands up. " I'm never getting on a skateboard again." He held his hands in the air. " I've got bruises from last year." He smiled. Crystal moved to behind the counter, shaking her head.

Hunter and Shane walked in. " Hey, you got an entry form for my kick flip-challenged friend here?" Shane asked, pointing to Hunter.

" Individual or are you guys doing the team competition?" Kelly asked.

The Red and Crimson Rangers chuckled. " Us; together?" Hunter asked, laughing a little more.

Crystal crouched to see the entry forms so she could grab the right one." So, individual," Crystal muttered. She grabbed the form. She pulled out a highlighter, marking a few things on the form.

" You got a better chance of seeing me on blade skates." Shane joked.

" Just asking," Kelly muttered. " Well, you're the second one to sign up, Hunter," Kelly told the crimson-clad boy. Crystal handed him the papers.

" Who's first?" Hunter asked. Crystal pointed to behind him. Hunter turned his head.

Shane dust off imaginary dirt from Hunter's shoulder. " You're toast, dirt boy." He insulted. He started to walk away. Dustin, Tori, Lucy, and Crystal all laughed.

" Wait," Hunter called out. Shane turned to him. " Do you hear that?" He asked, looking into space. Shane scrunched his eyebrows. " It sounds like, uh…your hopes and dreams coming crashing down around you." He walked past the Red Ranger. Shane followed him.

" And here we see alpha males in their natural habitat." Tori joked. Everyone burst out laughing.

" So you got…so you got to balance yourself on the bike, okay?" Dustin questioned. He was at the motocross track later that day with Crystal and Shane. All three were outfitted in their moto gear. Shane sat on his real dirt bike. " Not too far forward. Not too far backward…" He trailed off.

The blonde in gold reached over, hitting Shane in the head. " Are you even listening?" She asked. She sat on her bike, next to the Red Ranger. Dustin was right beside her.

" Look, all I need to know is how to beat Hunter," Shane admitted. Dustin and Crystal shared a look. " What?" He asked.

" Shane, Hunter is almost as fast as I am," Crystal told him. The blonde leaned on her handlebars. " He's like one step below Factory Pro."

" Yeah, yeah." Shane blew off. He shoved on his helmet and revived the engine on the bike. " Here it goes." He let go of the brake bar and was sent flying through the grass. He swerved and hit a pile of hay bales, crashing over them.

" Yeah, he is never going to beat Hunter." Crystal shook her head. The two ran over to the Red Ranger, pulling him to his feet. " Both of you are screwed." Crystal smiled.

Lucy breathed, running through the Blue Bay park, her earbuds in and her music loud. She lip-synced to the music while jogging. She didn't finish all of her 5 miles earlier that day, so she was rounding off her miles by running through the city. She was so in tune with her music that she didn't realize the two Rangers trailing behind her. Lowering her music, she continued to jog in front of them. " And since this is open to the public. No ninja tricks." Lucy rolled her eyes. Of course, they would be arguing.

Evil laughter caused the three to stop. A metal kangaroo with red punching gloves stood in front of them. " Splendiferous, gentlemen and lady." The kangaroo greeted. The three fell into stances. " I'm the Boxing Bopp-a-Roo. A bouncing bounty of bodacious bombastic." Bopp-a-Roo continued. He threw his fist out and shot at the three, sending them to the ground.

" I'm already sick of the guy," Lucy muttered. They stood up and fell back into stance.

" Check me out," Bopp-a-Roo commented. " I'm the prognosticator of powerful punches."

" Prog-what?" Shane asked, looking at Hunter and Lucy. Both shrugged.

" Forget it." Hunter rolled his eyes. " It's time to morph." He threw his wrist down. " Thunder Storm." He started to say.

Shane stopped him. " I say when it's time to morph." Shane pointed to himself.

" What?" Hunter got up in his face.

" Follow my lead and stay back," Shane ordered. Lucy groaned. Bopp-a-Roo shot again. Hunter cartwheeled, Lucy backflipped and Shane rolled.

" Now it's time to morph," Shane commanded.

" Thank god," Lucy commented.

" Hey, didn't you see the signs?" Shane asked. " Zoo's that way." He pointed one way.

Bopp-a-Roo scratched his head. " I'm flabbergasted."

" What?" Shane asked. The two Ranger boys decided that they were going to see who could end the guy first. They managed to push him back but Bopp-a-Roo had other ideas. He sent flames to the boys, pushing them to the ground.

" Bodacious and vainglorious," Bopp-a-Roo spoke.

Hunter climbed to his feet." I'm getting tired of trying to understand this guy." He stated.

Shane got up and called on his hawk blaster. " I'm plain tired, bye-bye Bopp-a-Roo." He shot Bopp-a-Roo in the nose, making his stumble.

" Have you seen my fabulous, vainglorious wheel of fun?" Bopp-a-Roo inquired. He shot red lighting at the three Rangers. Shane held his blaster up again.

Hunter walked over to him and hooked his staff behind the barrel of the weapon. " Hey, you already tried that," Hunter commented.

Shane got pissed. " What are you doing?" He asked, grabbing the thunder staff in Hunter's hands.

Lucy sighed, rolling her eyes. She pulled her rapier out. She charged Bopp-a-Roo, her rapier tip scraping the ground. Bopp-a-Roo went for a punch but Lucy fell to the ground and slid. She jumped up and slammed her weapon into his stomach. She growled, running forward, hitting Bopp-a-Roo with a back full of concrete. Bopp-a-Roo looked over her shoulder.

" Blathering, bickering boys." He said, striking Lucy in the stomach with his iron fist. She tumbled and rolled until she was the feet of the boys. " Ready to get blasted?" He asked the two bickering Reds. He shot red lighting at the two.

Hunter blocked it with his staff while Shane rolled. " Let me handle this, thunder-style." He grunted. Bopp-a-Roo stopped his attack. " Thunder staff, full power." He ordered. His staff emitted blue lighting that surrounded Bopp-a-Roo. The kangaroo fell to the ground in a shower of sparks but got back up. Shane appeared at Hunter's side.

" He who rumbles and runs away lives to brawl another day," Bopp-a-Roo admitted. He took off.

Shane stepped forward. " Hey." He called out.

" What?" Hunter turned to him.

" Power down," Shane ordered. The three ninjas released their morphs.

" What…you let him bail." Shane accused hunter. " I would've pounded that pouch potato."

" You?" Hunter asked. " All you did was get in my way."

Lucy's morph shattered. She grunted, trying to push herself up to her feet." All you two are doing is argue," Lucy yelled at both of them. " I'm better, no I'm better, blah, blah, blah," She shifted around, breathing heavily. " When are you two gonna grow up," She gave up, lying on the ground.

" This is so lame," Shane commented. " I'm going for a run,"

Hunter moved to help the Silver Ranger. " You okay?" He asked.

" No," Lucy muttered through gritted teeth. " This is one time I wish I didn't go running,"

Crystal raised an eyebrow when she watched Hunter help Lucy into Ops. The brunette Ranger didn't look pleased while she was slowly moving down the stairs with help. Hunter helped her sit down, then turned to Crystal. The smaller blonde already had the medkit in her hand. The two started to patch Lucy up. " Definitely bruised," the girl in gold commented. " Nothing serious but you're gonna go get them looked at." Once the two were done, Hunter took off, most likely to go run somewhere.

After patching up her sister, Crystal helped Lucy sit down on her colored pillow around the table while the Silver Ranger explained the entire fight to the team. Cam brought over his computer to the downed Ranger. The rest of the team watched Hunter and Shane race around the beach. " Those guys are still at it," Dustin commented.

Tori paced near the school library." So let me get this straight." Tori spoke up. " There's a kickboxing robot kangaroo bouncing around Blue Bay Harbor. They're out playing following the leader?" She thought out loud, sitting between Blake and Dustin, who were right next to Lucy. Crystal sat on the other side of the brunette.

" Sensei, we need help here," Dustin admitted, looking at the guinea pig. " Something Sensei-like."

Sensei started to trot around. He walked along the computer edge. " They must both learn that the best quality of a leader is to understand when to be a follower," He advised.

" Dude's way deep." Dustin leaned over to Tori and Blake. " Especially for a rodent."

" Okay, Dustin, whatever you say." Lucy rolled her eyes. Everyone smiled.

The computer beeped suddenly. Shane's helmeted head appeared on the screen. " Cam, that kangaroo clown's back for round two," Shane informed the genius. " We need help."

" Right." Cam agreed. He turned to the four moving ninjas. Lucy stayed put on her seat.

Crystal stood in the middle with Blake and Tori on one side and Dustin on the other. " Ready?" She asked.

" Ready." Dustin and Tori answered.

All Rangers arrived in front of Bopp-a-Roo; who had new black spike-covered fists. " I'm one manically mad marsupial." Bopp-a-Roo rumbled. He slammed his fists together.

" What did he say?" Tori asked. The six rangers started to circle with Bopp-a-Roo.

" No idea," Shane answered truthfully.

" He a pissed-off kangaroo." Crystal summed up. Everyone looked at her. " Don't ask." She shook her helmeted head.

" A conflagatory conflagration," Bopp-a-Roo told the rangers. His wheel spun around until it hit a spot and he burst into flames. He shot them at the six, who were slammed against a shipping container. All winced in pain when they tried to move. " Aha, rumble-fried Rangers." He laughed. " Exceptional, position no current commotion," Bopp-a-Roo commented. " They are fully in the grasp of my fingermins."

" I've had enough of this," Shane growled, slamming his fist into the ground. He pushed himself up to his feet, his fellow Wind Rangers following him. He, Tori and Dustin formed the Storm Striker. Hunter and Blake created the Thunder Blaster. Crystal shook her head, pushing herself up to her feet. She ended up between the two teams of Rangers. After the two shots were fired, a shield appeared in front of Bopp-a-Roo, sending the blasts back to owners. All Rangers fell to the ground, withering in pain. They looked up to see Bopp-a-Roo alright.

" How?" Crystal grunted, climbing to her knees. She ended up falling back on her butt.

" What happened?" Shane asked. He pulled Dustin up off the ground.

" Some kind of shield," Hunter told them. He and Blake tugged the Eclipse Ranger to her feet.

" I did it." A high pitched voice cried. " It worked." All Rangers turned to see Marah, Kapri, and Zurgane standing right behind them. " My shield worked." Marah squealed. " How cool am I?" She asked.

Kapri scoffed. " How lucky are you?" She asked.

" Great," Tori remarked. " The whole family is here." She rolled her eyes under her helmet.

" Let's do this." Shane rallied. Everyone readied to fight. Bopp-a-Roo took Shane, Tori. Dustin started going head to head with Zurgane. Hunter, Blake, and Crystal took on Kapri and Marah.

Crystal kicked high while Kapri ducked. The blonde threw a punch that Kapri caught. Pulling back, Crystal's morph instantly shattered. The blonde scrunched her eyebrows together, looking down at her morpher. Her disk was gone. The pink-haired girl open her hand, finding the solar coin in her palm. Crystal looked over to see Hunter and Blake on the ground in front of Marah. They turned their heads when they saw that Crystal didn't have her morph.

" Bopp-a-Roo taught us some bucolic biggerific tricks," Marah announced. She bounced on her toes.

Kapri nodded, her hand curling around the coin. "Let's face the ruckus through rarificated roosterment." She continued.

All three Rangers exchanged glances. " What?" Crystal asked, holding her arms up. The Thunders stood, moving to behind the girl in gold. " I'd like my coin back," The ninja stared at Kapri. When the girl didn't give it back, Crystal narrowed her eyes. " Fine, by force it is," She charged the girl. Kapri screamed, throwing her fist out. It met Crystal's cheek. The blonde staggered back, holding the right side of her face. The Thunder Brothers watched in silence.

Kapri, filled with energy, charged the Eclipse ninja and punched her again, right in the lip. Blood started to dribble from Crystal's lip. Standing up, Crystal pressed a finger to her lip. She turned around, facing the two. Without warning, the Gold Ranger charged Kapri. The girl screamed. But that didn't stop the Ranger. The blonde threw a punch, hitting Kapri in the face. The pink-haired girl was thrown back into Marah.

Crystal stood in front of the Thunders. " Next time," In a flash, the blonde stood in her Ranger suit. " Just give it back," She pulled out her rapier. She turned her head to the Thunders. " You take care of Marah, I'm dealing with Kapri," She turned back the two. As soon as Crystal took a step towards them, the two fled.

The Thunders moved to behind Crystal. " Remind me to never get on your bad side," Blake patted Crystal's shoulder. The Gold Ranger nodded, chuckling under her helmet.

Hunter disappeared to help Shane with the boxing kangaroo. It got to where Dustin appeared with the Storm Striker while Blake had the Thunder Blaster. " Ready?" Dustin asked.

The Thunders nodded. " Ready,"

" Not so fast." Kapri cut in. Crystal smirked, seeing Kapri's cheek bloom red from where she was punched. " You thought hers was good. Try mine." A stronger shield appeared in front of the four.

Tori huffed. " That looks pretty strong." She pointed out.

" What now?" Shane asked.

" What if we combined all our weapons?" Hunter suggested.

Shane looked over at him. " That might work." He agreed.

Hunter locked the back of the Thunder Blaster into the front of the Storm Striker. " Thunder Storm canon." They yelled. Hunter and Blake held up the end of the blaster. Tori and Dustin were right next to Shane.

Marah and Kapri started to freak out. " Look at that thing." Kapri gulped. " Let's get out of here," Kapri ordered.

" You don't have to tell me twice." Zurgane agreed. He, Marah and Kapri disappeared with a flash of light. They left Bopp-a-Roo all by himself.

" Huh?" Bopp-a-Roo peered around. " My buddies have bailed." He held up his fists.

" Ready?" Hunter asked, patiently waiting to destroy the marsupial.

" Full power," Shane called out. Then a ten-ton ball of power flew out of the blaster and was heading to Bopp-a-Roo. It shattered the shield and caused Bopp-a-Roo to explode. Everyone celebrated. They finally destroyed the annoying kangaroo.

Then, Bopp-a-Roo reappeared. Everyone stepped back in surprise. " Cam!" Shane held his wrist. " Zord time." He said.

After the fight against the larger version of Bopp-a-Roo, the Rangers were able to relax. They were all watching the Total Trek competition. Hunter and Shane finally decided to do a team competition. Surprising all the Rangers. Lucy was grouchy due to her ribs hurting whenever she moved. The two reds both apologized to the Silver Ranger. But the silver ninja had implied that she was going to get back at them for the fight, which made both boys a little more scared of the smaller ninja.

As Kelly had said, the trek started at the skate park, where Shane busted serious moves. All the Rangers were on the sidelines, cheering the boy on. After Shane had finished skating, Hunter and Shane took off after each other. They ran to the motocross track, where Hunter pumped out serious lap times. Dustin kept pointing out that he was getting fast. Close to the times that Crystal was putting out. The blonde only grumbled and watched Hunter cross the finish line first.

After the moto race, the boys ran to the urban climb. Tori, Blake, and Lucy all stood at the bottom, cheering the boys on. Both boys hit the finish bar at the same time, signaling that they had won.

" And the winner of this year's Total Trek is the team of Shane and Hunter," Kelly announced. The two of them claimed their trophy. Everyone clapped and cheered. A cameraman came over and snapped a picture of Hunter and Shane holding the trophy and the medals they got.

" What happened to your cheek?" Shane asked, noticing Crystal's bruised cheek and split lip.

Crystal leaned closer to Shane. " Kapri thought she could keep my power disk," She answered. " I taught why she should never mess with me," Everyone laughed. Hunter threw his arm over her shoulders. " You smell weird," She told him.

Tori lifted the Red and Crimson Rangers' raised arms to walk underneath." Not bad." She smiled.

" Hey, we try to learnify with great knowledgeness." Shane mellowed. Crystal raised an eyebrow.

Lucy itched her side, walking up to the four. " Can you not speak cryptically? " She asked, looking between the two boys.

" We're starting to hang together better." Hunter simplified for her.

All the Rangers nodded in understanding. Crystal ducked under Hunter's arm and walked around to her sister. Tori took the trophy from the two Rangers. Crystal and Lucy turned to watch the train wreck. Hunter went in for a handshake while Shane went in for a hug. They stared at each other for a moment. Hunter went in with hug and Shane went with the handshake. They finally decided on the handclasp thing that guys do. They began a mid-air arm-wrestling contest.

Everyone looked over. " At least it's a start," Lucy mumbled.
