Ninja Storm: Rise of the Eclipse- Chapter 16: I Love Lothor
Disclaimer: Saban owns all Power Ranger lines. I only own Crystal and Lucy and anything else unrecognizable.
Lucy stepped into Storm Chargers, headphones plugged into a player. She hummed to the music that was playing in her ears. The silver guardian paused the music when she stopped near her sister. She tugged the headphones out of her ears. "Hey,"
Crystal didn't glance up from the fruit that she was chopping. "How was your workout?" She gathered all the fruit she had, dumping it into a bowl. Reaching down, Crystal plucked an uncut fruit from the container near her to snack on.
"Hey, Lucy." Kelly greeted, placing a box down on the counter. "Would you mind helping me? I got more fruit in the back," She pointed to the back of the store. The Silver Ranger nodded, tailing Kelly to the back.
The front bell rang. "Hey, what's this?" Dustin asked, making his way into the store. Shane, Blake, and Hunter came in after him. Tori came in and leaned on the counter near the Gold Ranger.
"'Real Sports Pro cook-off'?" Shane read the sign. He seemed in disbelief that something like that was happening in the store.
Crystal held her knife up but didn't turn to look at the boys. "Congratulations, Shane, you can read." She replied to him. Shane shot her a look. The blonde raised an eyebrow at him, placing more fruit in a bowl.
"Since when is cooking an action sport?" Dustin shoved his hands in his pockets.
Kelly wiped off her hands after placing a fruit box on the ground. Lucy pulled out the rest of the fruit. She reached over, snagging a piece of fruit from Crystal's bowl. "Real Sport Pro drinks has chosen Storm Chargers to host a series of cooking demonstrations." She explained.
"Dude, this stuff is nasty." Dustin removed his hands from his pockets and crossed them over his chest. "I don't care how you cook it."
"Stick around. It might surprise you." Tori stated.
"And they might learn something." Crystal told her. Lucy snorted, placing her hand over her mouth to stop a piece of fruit from coming out of her mouth. "On second thought, maybe not."
Cam walked into the store. "Hey."
Tori moved between the boys. "Hey." she returned, smiling at him.
"Cam, you taking cooking?" Shane chuckled. All the guys shared a laugh.
Cam shook his head. "Look, Tori wanted someone, other than the sisters, to take the class with her, and dad said I should get out more." He shrugged. "So, here I am."
Shane scoffed. "Yeah, but a cooking class?"
There was a sudden wave of girls that walked in. Hunter turned around and greeted them. Cam leaned in, smirking. "It has its advantages."
Shane scratched his head. Dustin nodded. "Dude's got a point." The Yellow Ranger commented, going to sit down. Cam and Tori sat together. Cam leaned over and whispered something to Tori, making her smile.
Blake sighed. "Great."
"Someone's looking a little green. And that color's taken." Crystal commented, gathering up all the fruit she cut. "Jealous?" She rounded the table.
Blake shook his head. "What about you?" He returned, motioning to the crowd. "You and Hunter seem to like each other, what if he was flirting with one of those girls?"
Crystal shrugged, wiping her hands on her jeans. "We're friends, Blake. besides, there's no reason to be jealous if you have no one to impress," She told him. "Look, be yourself. That's all a woman wants."
After everyone was seated, Tori leaned back in her chair, right in front of Shane. "I thought cooking was lame." She repeated his words from earlier.
"What?" Shane questioned, looking around. "Who said that? I mean, everyone should know how to cook." The group agreed with him, laughing and nodding.
Kelly cleared her throat. "Thanks for coming everyone." She told the crowd. "Right. Let's get started. Today's recipe: Storm Charger smoothies." Crystal put the fruit into the blender. "After blending the fruit, add the yogurt."
A few minutes later, all the smoothie got divided up. The Rangers and cooking group gathered around the table. What everyone failed to notice was that there was a pink heart that fell into one drink. Blake, unfortunately, picked it up. "Past the lips and over the gums," Blake spoke. He raised the glass to his lips. As he pulled the glass away, a faint pink heart popped out of his chest. "Whoa." He commented, shaking his head. "That tasted weird,"
Cam frowned, "Let me see." He took the cup from Blake and took a sip. "Hm." He commented. A faint pink heart popping out of his chest.
Hunter tilted his glass to Crystal. She raised an eyebrow at the pink mustache he had. "Want some?"
Crystal shook her head. "No, I don't drink smoothies," Hunter raised an eyebrow but shrugged, downing the rest of his. He glanced at Crystal, who was motioning to her upper lip. Hunter wiped his mouth, realizing that Crystal was motioning to the mustache he had. He chuckled.
Tori pursed her lips. She glanced down the cup rim into the drink. "Not very sweet, is it?" She asked, turned her head towards Cam.
Cam stared at her. "Nothing will ever be as sweet as you." Everyone stared at him. It wasn't like Cam to be flirting with any of the girls on the team.
The Blue Ranger turned her head to find Blake staring at her, lovingly. "Why are you grinning at me like a lovesick Baboon?" Tori asked.
"Because he is one," Cam replied, making everyone wince.
Blake leaned forward to stare at Cam. "Hey." He shot.
Cam continued. "Go swing from a tree and let the humans have a conversation." He insulted. Crystal covered her mouth to stop the piece of peach from spilling out of her mouth.
Blake grabbed a handful of powder. He smashed it against Cam's shoulder, coating it in the flour. "Back off." He snapped. "I saw her first."
Cam picked up a container of flour and opened it. He tossed the content onto Blake's shirt. "Make me." He returned. Everyone watched in silent anticipation.
Blake opened his own container. "I will."
Crystal turned to say something to the tall blonde beside her. But the Gold Ranger caught the glint in his eye. She shook her head. Hunter grinned at her. "Food Fight!" He yelled. Everyone broke out into throwing things. Crystal yelped, ducking under a flying smoothie. She poked her head up from behind the counter. Smoothie covered everyone.
Lucy snuck up behind Crystal, dumping her smoothie on her sister. The pink covered blonde turned around, staring at the Silver Ranger. Running her hand down her hair, Crystal shoved her smoothie covered hand on her sister's face. Hunter came over to the two, grinning like an idiot. "I will kill both of you." Crystal pointed at Lucy and Hunter. The blond boy smirked at Crystal. He stopped smirking when he got smacked in the face with a hand full of smoothie.
Later that day, Tori was walking with Lucy. The Blue Ranger was looking forward to time with Lucy. They were hoping to relax after the ruined food demo. Crystal returned to the sports shop to clean up the mess and dragged Hunter into it. "He started it." She pointed out.
What the two female Rangers failed to notice was Blake and Cam fighting with each other. "Tori!" Blake called out after almost tripping because of Cam. "Yo! Wait up!" He called. Both girls turned to find Cam and Blake in front of Tori. Lucy patted her on the shoulder, moving away.
"I, uh, got you something." Blake handed her a gold-colored bag.
"Aw, how sweet." Tori smiled. "My very own…" Tori paused. She looked at the gift. "Socket Wrench set." Tori breathed. "This is really…" She trailed off, trying to find the right word.
"Pathetic and impersonal?" Cam offered.
Blake seethed. "You would know about pathetic and impersonal, wouldn't you?"
Cam brushed off the comment. "A true man would know what a woman really wants." He told Tori. He reached into the bag. "Is acne face wash." He held up the bottle.
Tori held the bag out to Blake. "I need a little time." She told both of them. "Alone." She clarified. She turned around and signaled Lucy. "I'll catch you two later." She walked away with Lucy behind her.
"Weird encounter?" Lucy asked once they turned the corner.
"Blake and Cam gave me useless gifts," Tori told the brunette. "A socket wrench set and acne face wash." Both girls shook their heads and made their way through the streets of Blue Bay Harbor.
The encounter with the two Rangers left Tori reeling. Cam and Blake were fighting with each other over her. Tori didn't want it like that. She was friends with Cam but, maybe he wanted something more. Tori shook her head. She glanced around. They walked towards the studios to find Kelzaks were entering one of the buildings. Tori leaned against the railing. "Kelzaks? In a TV studio?" The two took off towards the building.
Inside, the two females found Lothor talking to one of the various monsters within his army. Lucy turned around to head back out, but she found the exit blocked by Zurgane. "This is a closed set." He growled. Tori winced. Lucy shook her head. "Security." He called. A pack of Kelzaks appeared by his side. "Escort these visitors to their doom."
Lucy rolled her eyes. She blocked a hit from a Kelzak and kicked another in the stomach. She then flipped around, stopping a slice. A Kelzak tripped Lucy, sending her to the ground. When she tried to get up, the Kelzaks placed their weapons above her. Lucy twisted her head, seeing Tori standing in a butterfly net.
Zurgane laughed. "You're mine."
"Do you know how long it took me to get that smoothie out of my hair?" Crystal asked, walking into Storm Chargers. Hunter turned from where he was mopping to find the blonde rubbing her head. She wore a pair of athletic shorts and a t-shirt with her wet hair thrown into a bun.
Hunter stared at her, watching her movements. He shrugged. "I saw an opportunity, and I took it." He answered, getting close to the small blonde.
Crystal rolled her eyes, pushing his face away from hers. "Don't invade my personal bubble." She pointed a finger at him. She packed up the unused fruit in a box. "Lucy told me that Cam and Blake are fighting over Tori," She mentioned. Hunter raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, gave her gifts while fighting for her affection,"
"What about you?" Hunter asked his eyes on the mop in his hands.
Crystal shot him a confused look. "What do you mean 'what about me'?" She asked, leaning on the counter. "Hunter, I hope you know, I'm far from dating material,"
Hunter followed her lead, leaning on the counter. "I don't know, you're interesting, and not far from dating material,"
"Is that what you think?" Crystal asked, laughing. Hunter nodded slowly. Crystal's smile fell. "Are you serious?"
Hunter breathed in. "Crystal Brewer, I have liked you since I met you at the track. I fell head over heels for you because you were different. You didn't care that there was mud on you or that you were racing with a bunch of boys." He confessed. He picked up one of her hands. The smaller blonde just stared at him. "You enjoy everything about everyone and I'm glad that you trusted my brother and me in the long run,"
Crystal dipped her head for a second, her cheeks heating. She turned back to Hunter, smiling. "I just have one question," Hunter raised his eyebrows in anticipation of the question. "What took you so long, Hunter?" She asked. Hunter shot her a confused look. She laughed. "Hunter, I… considered you a friend when you saved my life, and my sister's, from Lothor. But I started falling for you after the whole island trip. I realized that there was more to you than just the brooding side," Both chuckled. Crystal shrugged. "I guess I wasn't looking in the right place till now,"
Hunter was about to say something else when they heard a scream. The two blondes turned their heads to find Kelly standing behind the register. "I knew it!" She called, pointing at the two. "I knew that you two would get together," She stopped. "Crystal, your sister owes me 10 bucks,"
Crystal shot her look. "You guys were taking bets?" Kelly nodded, smiling. "Y'all are so rude," She glanced around the store. "Weren't Dustin and Shane coming to help?"
Hunter checked his watch. "Yeah, they were," He turned to her. "Think they were in the bet?"
"No, I think it was Tori, Lucy Kelly and maybe your brother," Crystal answered.
Just then, Dustin and Shane came in, smiling at the two. Crystal shot them a look, picking up her box of uncut fruit and carrying it to the back. Hunter continued to mop while Shane and Dustin straightened out the chairs. Once they were all done, the four took seats in the front. Dustin on the outside with Crystal to the right of him. Hunter sat on the Gold Ranger's right, and Shane sat at the other end. The two blondes had their hand intertwined together. But neither Red nor Yellow Rangers noticed.
Kelly sat down next to Dustin and twisted around to see the audience. "And now, we'll be following the real sports executive chef's appearance on the cooking channel." She powered up the TV. Instead of seeing the cooking channel, all the audience found was a picture with Lothor on it. Crystal scrunched her eyebrows at the picture. "Hey." Kelly sat straighter. She tried to flip channels, but they were all the same, Lothor.
"What the-?" Hunter asked, glancing at Crystal. The girl was looking around the audience, avoiding the screen. She met his eyes.
Dustin leaned towards Crystal, Hunter, and Shane. "I read the TV listings every week, and I'm pretty sure that this wasn't in there."
"Let's go." Crystal stood up from the chair. She headed out of the store with Hunter, Shane, and Dustin following her.
"That ought to hold you two," Zurgane growled. He tightened Tori's bonds that held her to a plastic cactus.
Lucy rolled her eyes from the other side of said cactus. "Great." The Silver Ranger muttered. Tori shushed her to hear the conversation between Lothor and Zurgane.
Zurgane poked Lothor in the shoulder. The evil man pushed the mirror out of his way. "Sir, excellent news." He held his arm to his chest. "We have captured the Blue and Silver Power Rangers." He motioned to Tori and Lucy.
"Not now." Lothor snapped at Zurgane. "I'm about to make my big debut."
Tori and Lucy didn't have to look at each other to know what they were thinking. They had to get out of the building before everything was taken by Lothor.
"Have you seen the recent fall TV line ups, Sensei?" Shane asked, holding Crystal's wrist. Crystal shot an annoyed look at Shane behind his head. Hunter and Dustin chuckled at the Gold Ranger.
"Yes, Lothor is using subliminal signals in his broadcast to make people fall in love with him."
Crystal scrunched her nose at the thought. "Ew, who would ever love Lothor?"
"Those must be some serious signals," Hunter added. "But we have to shut down that broadcast."
"Hurry, I will try to reach the others."
Hunter paused. "How do we know which studio it is?" He asked. Suddenly there was screaming heard. Hunter, Shane, and Dustin pushed off the wall. They pressed themselves into the other wall to avoid being seen.
The boys were behind Crystal, who had the unfortunate pleasure of being the lookout. She poked her head around the corner, seeing the wave of people. "We follow," She stated, glancing back at the boys. "Ninja style," The boys smirked, taking off after the golden guardian.
At the beach, Cam and Blake walked towards each other. They each had serious expressions plastered on their faces. "Let's do this," Blake spoke.
"Ready when you are." Cam agreed.
Both took fighting stances, telling each other they were ready for a fight. Blake charged first, blocking a kick from Cam. The Navy Ranger roundhouse kicked over Cam's head. The Green Ranger followed with the same move.
Blake threw a punch. Cam blocked it. Blake kicked Cam back. Blake hit the ground. Cam fell to his knees. They stood and charged each other, wrestling. They flipped each other over. Cam climbed on top of Blake and shook him around. Blake, tired of the shaking, got his foot under Cam and pushed him over his head. He got up to charge, but Cam was faster and used his foot to send him flying to the ground.
They both climbed back to their feet, ready for another round.
Lucy struggled against her bonds. She was listening to Lothor rattle on with stories. "And they lived happily ever after."
"Just like us," Marah added.
Zurgane turned to the monster of the week. "Earthlings are storming the front gates, begging to do Lothor's bidding."
"Am I a genius or what?" The high-pitched voice of the monster rang out.
"But there is a complication," Zurgane spoke up. "We've spotted Rangers at the beach. Get down there and take care of it!" He ordered.
"But I am the director." The rat monster complained.
Zurgane got closer to the rat. "I said move it."
The rat raised his hands. "Okay, okay." He disappeared in a flash.
Both Rangers, who had heard the entire conversation, struggled against their restraints.
Blake and Cam still were going at it.
Cam blocked two hits from Blake, grabbing his arm on the third and twisting him around. Blake flipped over, dropping and swiping his foot under Cam. The Green Ranger flipped around in the air but landed on his side. He swung his leg at Blake, who hit the ground on his back. Both glared at each other. They climbed back to their feet and charged.
"Oh, an action scene." The rat monster commented, watching Blake and Cam from the safety of the trees. "I love it." He raised his blaster and shot at Cam and Blake. He sent both the Navy and the Green Rangers to the ground, grunting at they smashed into the sandy beach. They turned to see the monster standing in front of them. "Get up." He waved his blaster around. "We're still rolling." He commented, excitedly, and wildly pointing his blaster at the two.
Crystal covered her mouth with her hand when she got a look at the mass amounts of bodies in front of the studio. They were all crammed into the compact space that was the front of the studio. Crystal got a glimpse of Kelly, who was shoved against the glass, trying to get in. "This is just wrong." She commented, looking at the three boys that were standing beside her.
"Yeah," Dustin breathed, agreeing with the Gold Ranger.
Hunter glanced at the three Rangers for a second. He looked back at the girls." We got to get 'em outta there." He stated.
"But how do we do it hurting anyone one?" Crystal asked, her hand flying to Hunter's shoulder. "They are just people under a spell."
Hunter's eyes lit up. "Hey, everyone." He yelled, getting their attention. "Lothor is a creep. He's put you all under a spell." Crystal eyed all the girls in the crowd.
Kelly turned to the Rangers. "No way!" She yelled. "We love Lothor! Get them."
"That wasn't a bright idea," Crystal shot off, jumping down all the stairs with the three boys behind her.
"Excellent sir." Zurgane clapped to his leader. "Your legion is growing by the minute."
Lothor smiled. "Just wait until my next episode." He smiled. "When I tell them all to jump off a cliff." He laughed.
Zurgane threw his hands up. "I'll tune in for that." They passed by Lucy and Tori, who were still struggling to get out of their bonds.
"That is what you think." Tori spat. She bit the bond that was holding her arm with her morpher.
"Oh, thank god, this cactus was hurting my back," Lucy told Tori, yanking her arm free of the fabric. She pulled her other hand free. When she was done, the silver ninja moved around to Tori
The Blue Ranger chuckled. She lifted the morpher. "Sensei, Lothor is trying to brainwash the public through TV."
"He is a little late for that. But I am working on the problem. Meanwhile, you two must help Blake and Cam."
Tori nodded. "Right." She untied her other wrist. Both Ranger girls made a sprint for the door, running to the beach to help the three in trouble.
Back at the beach, both Cam and Blake cartwheeled to avoid the monster. Blake stuck his arm out in front of Cam. "I'll handle this guy."
Cam had other ideas. He stuck his arm in front of Blake. "Back off, Blake." He said. "He's mine." Blake grabbed the front of Cam's shirt.
"I said I got it!" Blake yelled at him.
"Yeah?" Cam asked.
"Yeah!" Blake replied. They got back into the grudge match that they started.
"Cut!" The monster yelled, jumping in the air. "Cut! You two are running my scene."
Blake and Cam stopped and turned to the monster. "Tight back at ya." Cam shot at him. The two Rangers went back to fighting.
"All right, that's it," Blake told Cam. He pushed them away.
Thunder Storm, Ranger Form
Samurai Storm, Ranger Form.
Green Samurai Power
Power of Thunder
Cam pulled out his sword. Blake whipped out his staff. They paired and block each other, ignoring the monster that was standing in front of them. "Hello? Can we stick to the script?" He sarcastically asked.
Cam turned to him while he held Blake off. "Hey, can you see we're busy?"
Blake forced them around. "Yeah, take a hike."
"Actors." The monster muttered. Tori and Lucy made their way to the beach. They shot each other looks. They sighed. Tori ran to the two and stood between them. Lucy stood in front of them, facing the monster.
"Hello?" Tori asked. "Giant monster about to attack the city?" She pointed to the creature.
"My rating is about to go through the roof." The monster laughed.
Ninja Storm, Ranger Form
Before Tori could morph, the monster shot at the Blue Ranger. "Tori!" The boys yelled. Lucy turned but was hit in the stomach by a blast, sending her to the ground.
The four Rangers had narrowly avoided the mob of people after them. They were all pressed against a wall, hiding under a stairwell. The Gold Ranger exhaled deeply, listening to the distant sound of people yelling. "I think we lost them. Man, can those girls run fast." She commented, leaning on her knees.
Shane nodded. "We better go check on the others." The four took off towards the beach.
Cam and Blake ran over to the Blue Ranger. "Are you okay?" Blake asked.
"She won't be for long." The monster held his gun up. He shot at the four, but Blake and Cam stopped the hits from getting to Tori and Lucy. A blast sent all four back. Lucy taking more damage than the others because of her not being morphed. Blake's staff hit the sand behind the monster.
"Romance… action." The monster listed off. "This episode has it all." He squealed.
Tori tried to get up. "Cam, Blake, you are under a spell." She fell to the ground. "You've got to fight it."
"This is no spell." Cam pushed upwards with his blade, but he fell back to the ground.
"That's it!" Lucy yelled, climbing to her feet. "This is stupid." She called out. She pressed a button on her morpher. Her suit wrapped around her body. She pulled out her rapier. She slashed upwards; whipping around slicing through the stomach of the monster. He tried to swing at her, but Lucy was faster and dodged the blow. She turned around and sliced across his stomach again. Fed up, the monster shot Lucy back to the ground. She rolled backward, coming to a halt near Tori and the boys.
"My feelings are genuine," Blake stated, holding his special weapon up. "And I will prove it." He yelled, stumbling in front of Lucy and Tori, who were in extreme pain at that point.
"Come on, you lovesick stooge." The monster insulted. "Show me what you've got."
"Blake don't," Tori told him.
"I'll protect you, Tori." The Navy Ranger told the girl.
The monster pointed at him. "How heroic." He commented. He fired off several shots at Blake.
"Blake, no!" Tori cried, struggling to get up. Blake lost his weapon, which landed near Cam. Blake threw his arms out, signaling that he wasn't going down without a fight. "Get back." She tried.
"You want more?" The monster questioned. He fired off more shots that hit Blake directly in the chest. He didn't fall.
Tori's visor snapped open. "Blake."
"What?" The monster asked. "Now I'm getting mad."
Blake turned to Tori and heaved her up. "You've got to get out of here." He pushed her. Tori fell back down onto the ground, further from Blake. The monster shot once more, hitting Blake in the chest. There was a flash of lighting, and a crack of thunder, but the Navy Ranger remained standing.
"Whoa…" Cam commented. Lucy grinned, holding her stomach. Tori smiled.
"Impossible!" The monster fisted his hand. "Nobody can be that strong."
Blake grunted. "Nothing can beat the power of love." Blake stumbled forward, intending on taking out the monster.
"No, wait! Hold on now." The monster stuttered, suddenly scared out of his mind. He tried to shoot Blake once more, but the Navy Ranger grabbed his thick wrist and squeezed as hard as he could. The monster dropped his gun.
"This is for you, Tori." Blake pulled back and punched the monster hard enough that it sent him flying backward.
"You… you…" The monster snapped. Blake sighed.
"Okay Blake, you win," Cam announced. He then turned his gaze and found Blake's pinchers right next to him. "Catch." He called out.
Blake grabbed his staff, elongating it. He twisted it around, catching the antlers on the end, calling forth a wave of lighting. Blake swung against the monster, lifting him to his feet. Lighting crackled when the monster exploded. Blake turned to the Blue Ranger. "Tori I…" A hot pink heart floated out of Blake's chest and popped right in front of his head.
Tori, confused on the entire matter, turned to Cam. She watched a hot pink heart float out of his chests, and pop in front of his faces. The Blue Ranger was about to speak, unsure if everything that had happened was real. But both seemed to have genuine feelings about her. All she knew was that Blake would say something important and Tori might have had a clue.
"Lu!" The four Rangers on the beach turned to find the Gold Ranger trailed by the Crimson, Red, and Yellow Rangers. Crystal moved to her sister. Hunter followed, helping lift the Silver Ranger up to her feet. "What happened?" Crystal asked the two.
Shane and Dustin lifted their third member up. "I don't know," Tori answered. "But I got worked." She squeezed her eyes shut. Her legs gave out from under her. Blake and Cam came running over. Just then, Lucy's knees gave out. She would have taken her sister out if Hunter was holding her up.
"This is the big time!" The monster yelled out. He grew about fifty feet. All the Rangers turned to find him there.
"We'll handle this one, right, Cam?" Blake turned to the group.
Cam nodded. "Yeah. He's all ours." He turned and ran to the edge of the beach. "Come on. Samurai Star Chopper." The chopper came flying into view.
"Be careful," Crystal muttered to Hunter.
The Crimson Ranger nodded. "I'll try," Hunter glanced at his little brother. "Ready?"
"Thunder zords." They both called out. The dark-colored bugs came crashing into view. Dustin and Shane held Tori from falling. Crystal slung Lucy's arm over her shoulder. Blake and Hunter formed the Thunder Megazord and Cam's chopper turned into the Star Megazord.
"Ready and…" The rat rubbed his gun. "Action." He called. Cam pulled the star from the Megazord's chest and threw it at the monster. He ducked when his gun when off, aimed right at Cam. Before the shot could make it, the Thunder Megazord blocked the laser.
"Got your back Cam," Blake told him.
"Thanks." Cam nodded. "No hard feelings?"
"You know it."
Hunter jumped in. "Let's do this."
Cam's zord pushed off the ground. It formed back into chopper mode. "Samurai Thunder Megazord," Cam called out. The grounded Rangers watched the Star Chopper and the Thunder Megazord combine.
"Check it." Dustin pointed upwards at the Megazord. "A new combo."
"It's amazing," Tori commented.
Then the chopper rotors started. The Megazord flew into the air. "We're going up…" Hunter spoke.
"… He's going down." Blake finished.
The monster tried to hit them, but the shield that the Thunder Megazord had blocked all the shots. Their laser hit the monster directly. They flew close to the monster and swiped across his chest. All four cannons on the Megazord fired up with crackles of lightning and thunder.
"Laser charged," Cam announced.
"And ready." The Thunders called out.
Then all the firepower of the lasers hit the monster at once. "That's a wrap." He yelled out. He exploded in a fit of sparks and fire.
"Way to go guys!" Tori yelled out. The Samurai Thunder Megazord settled onto the ground, standing tall above the city.
Lucy grunted. She blocked another hit from Crystal. The two were practicing, dancing around the ruins of the destroyed Academy. The toppled walls and grounds made it easy for the girls to practice. The fight ended with Crystal on the ground and Lucy standing above her, her fist inches from the blonde's nose.
"I never thought I would see the day when Crystal was defeated." Hunter chuckled. He and Shane walked over to the two. Lucy turned her gaze to the two.
Crystal then used the opportunity to twist her sister and flip them over with her sitting on top. "And you never will." The blonde smirked, standing and pulling her sister up. She walked over to Hunter, smiling. She noticed the silver tray that Hunter was holding. "What's on the tray?" She asked, placing her hands on her hips.
"You'll see," Hunter smirked. Crystal shook her head, ruffling his hair. He rolled his eyes, bumping hips with her. He made his way into Ops, trailing Shane. Crystal and Lucy followed them, enticed by the tray.
"Peace offering," Shane said, motioning to the chicken. "Since your cooking class kind of got messed up."
"I think you mean destroyed." Lucy pointed out.
Hunter lifted the tray. "Homemade and from the heart." He smiled. He placed it between the three Rangers on the table.
Blake sat up while Tori eyed the food. "Fried chicken?" Tori asked. "There's something wrong."
"I know, this looks edible." Crystal reached over and picked a piece up.
Suddenly, Dustin came walking in with containers from a fast food place. "Who ordered take out?" He asked. Hunter and Shane shared scared looks when Dustin pushed them out of the way. "I'm starving."
"Since when does homemade food come in a bucket?" Tori asked, smiling at the antics of the team. Everyone then burst out into laughter. Tori grabbed a piece of chicken and pushed it into Shane's mouth.
Crystal threw her piece of chicken at Hunter, making the Crimson Ranger push her face away. The Rangers laughed at the two. Hunter picked the piece up off the ground, catching Crystal's eye. She shook her head, silently telling him not to follow through with his idea. Hunter reached over, catching Crystal in a headlock. She grabbed his arm, pushing his hand with the chicken away. She turned her head, laughing.
The smaller blonde yelled out, laughing. "Hunter, you smell like chicken,"
"Wait, are you two a thing now?" Tori asked, picking at her piece of chicken.
Hunter and Crystal shared a look. Hunter tried to smack Crystal in the face with his piece of chicken. "Hunter!" Crystal got the piece away from Hunter.
Lucy laughed. "I'm gonna take that as a yes," She answered. A piece of flying chicken then hit her. She turned to Crystal, who's hand was out like she had thrown it. "I hope you know that Tori, Kelly I all took bets on you two," She muttered. Everyone started laughing.
"Yeah, I won!" Tori yelled.
Lucy shook her head. "No!" She yelled, standing. "I won, remember,"
"Not cool, guys!" Crystal yelled.
