Ninja Storm: Rise of the Eclipse- Chapter 24: Shane's Karma: Part II
Disclaimer: Saban owns all Power Ranger lines. I only own Crystal and Lucy and anything else unrecognizable.

Everyone sat around in Ninja Ops. Tori and Dustin sat on the table. The Blue Ranger was stuck in her own thoughts while Dustin was staring at the back of Cam's head. Crystal was pacing, biting her nails while she did. Lucy was meditating in the corner. Blake and Hunter were standing near Cam. "Maybe now would be an excellent time to contact Sensei," Hunter leaned over towards Cam.

The Green Ranger glanced at the crimson ninja. "I've tried already," He sighed. "Whatever's interfering with Shane's morphed is keeping us from reaching my father," He tapped on his keyboard for a second.

Dustin turned his head to Tori. "Hey, sorry your birthday got messed up,"

"I know. "It's nobody's fault," Tori paused, rethinking her statement. "Well, maybe Lothor's,"

Dustin hummed in agreement. "Maybe we should go get our stuff from the beach,"

"Our day off is pretty much over," Blake pointed out.

Hunter dropped his hand on Cam's shoulder. "We'll be back, Cam,"

"I'll contact you if anything happens," Cam told the Rangers.

All the Rangers walked along the water once they hit the beach. "Look at the swell," Tori pointed towards the ocean.

"I haven't seen waves like that in a while," Lucy muttered. "I was so looking forward to surfing until I turned into a prune," Tori chuckled and nodded her head in agreement with the Silver Ranger.

Hunter sighed. "I know what you mean," He breathed. He smiled when he felt Crystal link their hands together, giving it a soft squeeze. "I was looking forward to some downtime,"

"I think we all were," Crystal told him. "Lothor's been sending monster after monster and we haven't had time to do anything,"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute," Blake stopped the group. The Rangers rounded him. "I don't mean to sound paranoid here, but... uh," He pointed at where he was standing. "Wasn't this where we left all of our stuff?"

Dustin groaned. "Oh man, I can't believe our gear got jacked,"

"Wait, maybe our stuff got washed in the tide," Blake pointed out to sea.

Lucy looked at her watch, squinting to read the time. "High tide isn't for another hour,"

"So where is it then?" Hunter inquired.

"Guys, look," Crystal pointed over to where Choobo and Kelzaks were walking. They had gathered somethings in their arms and were hiding behind a rather large rock formation.

"That's the last straw," Tori stomped her foot in the sand. "Nobody steals my birthday cake," All the Rangers took off.

They reached the part of the beach that Choobo stopped at. The Kelzaks were going through everything, digging stuff out of a silver backpack. They threw a sketch pad out of the backpack then pulled pencils and a notebook out. "They better not destroy my doodles." Lucy clenched her fist together.

"This is wrong on so many levels," Dustin muttered.

Crystal gagged, seeing a Kelzak wearing her, Lucy, and Tori's swimsuits. The three henchmen were walking around in the two-piece suits. "Babe, please tell me you'll burn that thing," Hunter pointed to the Kelzak. Crystal nodded. Hunter stepped closer to the stuff. "Give us back our stuff," He yelled.

Choobo turned to him. "Make me,"

Crystal smirked. "Gladly,"

The six took off, taking their own pods. Crystal kicked a Kelzak in the chest while dodging another. She blocked an attack, kicking him back. She turned around, flipping a Kelzak. Dodging a swing, the blonde punched two then kicked another.

Lucy cartwheeled into her pod. She kicked sand into the face of two Kelzaks. She roundhouse kicked them, knocking them back. She twisted a Kelzak around, using its own weapon against its friends. She then kicked the Kelzak in the leg and flipped him over.

The fights ended when Dustin accidentally shoved Tori's birthday cake into Choobo's face. "Why do I always end up taking it to the face?" Choobo whined, watching all the kelzaks hit the ground. "Retreat!" He threw his hands in the air, making him and the kelzaks disappear.

The Rangers ended up collecting all their stuff from the pile. "We kind of killed your cake," Hunter pointed out, looking back at the smashed cake Crystal was holding.

"It's still edible, we just have to carve around Choobo's face a little," Lucy tried, sheepishly smiling at her friends.

"Let's just get back to Ninja Ops before anything else goes wrong," Tori told the group. She turned to Dustin, who was rubbing lotion on his arm. "What's that — sunblock?"

Dustin chuckled. "Just the opposite," He rubbed more of the lotion on his arm. "Cyber Cam gave me this new sunless tanning lotion."

"Sure you want to use that much?" Tori questioned.

"Yeah, I'm gonna be a bronze god!" Dustin walked in front of the group.

Crystal leaned over to Hunter. "Or a chicken wing," She joked. Hunter snorted in agreement.

A few hours later, Crystal, Lucy, and Tori were sitting on the ground, playing a card game that Lucy packed. The monitor beeped. "Look who's back," Cam spoke up.

"Are the Megazords fixed?" Tori asked, walking up to the computer with the rest of the team.

"Of course," Cam scoffed. "I am the brains of this operation, remember?"

"Then why can't you get the swan back online?" Crystal asked him. "Or find the coyote?"

Everyone smiled. Cam turned to the Gold Ranger. "Touché," He responded. "But the energy force in the forest is weakening. I should be able to call them any second. The swan will need another second to finish, though,"

"We'll meet you out there," Hunter told Cam.

"Hopefully, I'll also be able to get a lock on Shane." Cam sighed.

"We'll take it for now," Tori pushes off the computer desk. Her eyes landed on Dustin, who was tanner beyond belief. "You ready... Bronze god?"

Ninja Storm, Ranger Form!

Dustin and Tori quickly formed the Wind Megazord. "Guess you're ready for round two," Zurgane whipped his zord around, facing the Rangers across from him.

The Megazord armed itself with a blade. "It's on," Dustin told Zurgane. Tori agreed with him. They shifted their controls forward, moving the lumbering Megazord forwards.

Once the Wind Megazord got close to him, Zurgane kicked his Megazord into drive. He shot lightning from his zord. The power sent the Megazord back, crashing into the hill behind them.

"I got it!" Cam yelled. "Thunder Megazord is back online. And the Eclipse Megazord is ready,"

"Let's get out there," Crystal patted Cam's shoulder, stepping away from him.

Hunter nodded. "Right,"

"Ready?"

Thunder Storm, Ranger Form

Eclipse Storm, Ranger Form

Just as Zurgane went to strike the Wind Megazord, a rapier-like weapon stopped him. A navy colored foot collided with Zurgane. The multicolored colored Megazord turned around. The Thunder and Eclipse Megazords appeared on the scene. The Eclipse had its rapier-like weapon out in front of them. THe Thunders stood right next to them. "Welcome to the party," Dustin told the four.

Blake nodded. "Yeah, thanks," The three Megazords fell in a formation.

"Lightning Mode, engaged," Zurgane ordered, pressing a button on his console. In seconds, the sleeker version of the Zurganezord appeared.

"Let's do it guys," Tori yelled. "Come on,"

"Yeah!" Hunter and Blake agreed.

"Inserting Power Disk," Dustin pulled a disk out, putting in his console. "Locked and Dropped," He twisted the handle.

But before the Wind Megazord could get the sphere, Zurgane swiped it from them. He laughed. "So easy,"

The Samurai Star Megazord appeared quickly. "Hey, Zurgane, this one's for you," Cam spoke, sticking a power disk in his console. "Locked and Dropped," A spider-like yo-yo appeared. The Samurai Star Megazord threw the spider at the general, grabbing the power sphere.

The Star Megazord used the attached sphere as a weapon to do some damaged on the Zurgane Zord. The Eclipse Megazord came in, slashing downwards on the Zurgane Zord, creating more sparks from the suit. The Wind and Thunder moved near each other. "All right, guys, finish this," Crystal told them.

"You got it," Hunter nodded. "Locked and dropped." The Mini zord appeared. The Wind and Thunder Megazords broke apart, creating the Thunderstorm Megazord.

Zurgane tried to fire lightning at the rolling Megazord, but it was flown past them. "This does not look good," Zurgane muttered. He pushed his zord up, trying to get the upper hand.

But the Thunderstorm Megazord had other ideas. It punched the Zurgane Zord a few times in the chest, rattling the general. They powered up the lion blaster as the Zurgane Zord climbed to his feet. The lion went off, destroying the zord once and for all. "Aw, yeah," Tori yelled out.

"No problemo!" Dustin cheered.

"See ya, Zurgane," Hunter nodded.

"Chalk it up," Blake fist-bumped the air.

"That's a wrap," Cam spoke.

Crystal nodded. "Hasta la Vista!"

Everyone regrouped after the fight. They all stood together, hearing something in the distance. Chasing after a ship, Shane was flying through the air. He had a battle like armor on, but there were various pieces that resembled something different. He zipped around the sky, avoid and firing at the ship he was tailing. Finally, Shane got a clear view of the ship. "Go, Shane!" Tori yelled. The Rangers watched Shane powered up the blaster in his suit. He fired the lasers, causing the ship to crash, sparking then finally exploding.

"Awesome," Blake commented. Shane flew to where the Rangers were standing, landing with an enormous cloud of smoke. Everyone looked at the battlizer, staring at the pieces.

Everyone moved back to Ops, hoping that they would at least get the rest of the night off. Shane had gone into detail about everything that had happened when he was in the forest. He described the bounty hunter he had encountered, extremely obsessed with the power that he was hunting. He smiled when he talked about Skyla, the woman he met in the forest. All the Rangers caught on, sensing that the Red Ranger had come to develop a crush on the woman that helped him out in the end. "Hey, you all right?" Blake asked, placing his hand on Shane's shoulder.

Shane sighed. "Yeah, I feel kinda bummed,"

"You miss her," Crystal observed.

"Yeah, I guess I do,"

"She will always be with you, Shane. Her power lives through you for all eternity," Sensei spoke from his cart.

Shane nodded, understanding what his teacher was saying. "Thanks, Sensei,"

"Yeah, but can we talk about the battlizer?" Hunter asked, an arm around the blonde beside him. "Sick, huh?" He smiled

The Red Ranger smiled. "Yeah, I guess it is sick,"

"You all did well in my absence," Sensei noted. "I am proud,"

"Pity it had to happen on someone's birthday," Lucy pushed Tori's shoulder. "I think we were all looking forward to something happy in this grey world,"

Crystal shot her a look. "Don't go philosophical on me, little sis. It's not gonna be good for the both of us." Everyone chuckled.

"No worries," Tori smiled. "There'll be more, right?"

"Hey!" Dustin yelled, bringing everyone's attention to him. His face was a burnt orange color, except for where his sunglasses sat. Everyone stopped to admire the extremely tanned Yellow Ranger. "The day's not over yet," He came in carrying a large cake with candles on it.

"Well, if it isn't the Orange Ranger," Tori joked, raising an eyebrow.

Dustin chuckled. "Yeah, well, Cyber Cam will be cyber toast the next time I see him," He told everyone. He held the cake out for Tori. "Make a wish,"

Tori breathed in, making her wish. She then blew out her candles. Everyone cheered. They pulled each other in for a hug. "Happy Birthday, Tor," Crystal smiled, hugging the girl.

"Can we eat the cake now?" Lucy asked, making all the Rangers laugh. "No, I'm serious, guys, I really want cake,"

Not a very interesting chapter, I know. But I'm excited about the next two-parter.
