Sorry for the long hiatus on this story, but since I'll be putting the Human AU on hold for the time being i figured i would start to try and get this ball rolling again for this story. Hope you enjoy what is in store!

Elena gets to start first grade. How will this go?

Ch 10: First Grade

(Heart's Pov)

The whole summer went by so fast. After Lizzy's wedding the two went away for a week to a small lake in a cabin in the woods. They said it was a nice getaway for them and with different scenery.

First day of school had finally come back around. I was actually up before Elena came to wake me up. I was slowly starting to get used to the girl waking me up so early. I was ready. When the girl came into my room as excited as she was on the first day of Kindergarten, I was already getting out of bed to get ready.

"Aw you beat me to wake you up. That's no fun." Elena whined slightly.

I giggled. "Nice try pup. Maybe next time."

Elena still laughed and then came over to me to give me a hug. "I'll see you downstairs then. I already have an outfit I want to wear. I'm going to try and get dressed myself."

"Well, if you need help just let me know, ok?" I reminded her.

"Yes mommy." She let go of me and then left the room soon after.

I felt the bed shift behind me, "How do you think her first day will go?" Alastor asked.

Sighing, I said, "I don't know. I'm worried if those bullies will be in the same class as her."

"Well, I can always work some strings if I have to." Alastor said.

"No." I said, shaking my head. "We talked about this. No overlord special treatment."

Alastor sighed. "Yes, I know dear, but that doesn't mean I won't worry."

"Maybe have a shadow watch over her, just for today?" I suggested.

"You know she is getting better at sensing them. Her powers are starting to probably develop." Alastor pointed out.

I laid back and looked up at the deer demon. "You think I'm overthinking?"

"No, you're just worried." The Radio Demon kissed my forehead. "Mothers are allowed to do that."

"Fathers too." I said, chuckling as I poked his nose.

Alastor laughed lowly from that. "Very true that they do. Especially for their little girls."

"Plus, she is a daddy's girl thanks to you." I stick my tongue out at him.

He leaned down to kiss my forehead, "Can't blame me for being the cool parent."

I pushed him away with a laugh "Oh shut it you." Standing up from the bed I stretched and then headed towards the bathroom. "I need to get ready."

Alastor still chuckled. "Can't run away from the truth." He called after me.

I flipped him the bird before entering the bathroom. I got a quick shower and got dressed for today and headed downstairs. When I got down there, I noticed the girl wasn't in the kitchen so I went to her bedroom. I knocked on the door before entering.

When I entered the room, I saw Elena was struggling a little with putting on a dress with some stockings. She had part of the dress stuck on one of her antlers and couldn't get it out. The stockings were not all the way either. She looked frustrated and annoyed. Rufio sat on her bed looking at her confused.

Elena turned to me when she heard me walk in and gave me a shy smile. "Hi mommy." She greeted me.

I chuckled. "Hello pup." I greeted her. "It looks like you need some help?"

"Um...maybe." She said sheepishly.

Shaking my head with a smile I went up to the girl and got her unstuck from the dress and straightened it out on her. I then went and helped her put the stocking all the way on. I fixed her hair a little and then helped her put on her shoes.

"There we go. All pretty." I say as I look at her.

"Thanks mommy, guess I needed more help than I thought." Elena said to me.

"No worries, you have to get use to those antlers. They grew a lot over the summer so they are bigger than before. I know I needed to get used to my horns when I fell. Wasn't easy." I told her.

"I'll be better about it." The girl said proudly.

I chuckled and patted her head. "Let's go have breakfast. What do you say?"

"Sounds like a delicious plan!" Elena says and runs out of her room.

Shaking my head, I stood up and headed behind the girl to the kitchen.

"What would you like for breakfast?" I asked as I walked to the fridge.

Elena already sat at the table and hummed a moment in thought. "How about some pancakes?"

"Oh, I can agree with that. Do you want some chocolate chips with them?" I asked her.

"Yes please!" She answered excitedly.

"Ok I'll get started." I say and then got right to work on making the pancakes.

As I was halfway done with the pancakes, I heard Alastor come down the stairs. Elena's tail wagged quickly and once Alastor got into the kitchen she went up to him to hug him.

"Morning daddy!" She greeted him

Alastor wasn't expecting the hug and was surprised as his bowtie still lay undone around his neck. "Well good morning my light."

"You going to take me to school today?" The girl wonders as she lets him out of the hug.

"Yes, I am my fawn. Your mother and I will be taking you today."

"Will you be picking me up as well?"

"Yes ma'am. I'm doing a very short broadcast today."

Elena hugged him again and then went back to sit down. As she did, I had some pancakes done for her and put them on a plate in front of her. She thanked me and then dug in. Alastor came up behind me when I went back to the stove and warped his arms around me.

"Good morning my little wolf." He whispered in my ear.

I felt a shiver go down my spine. "Good morning my great buck."

He chuckled and then kissed my neck. "Can I have you for breakfast dear?"

"Alastor no." I said as I giggled from his kiss. "Afterwards." I warned him.

"Fair enough." He says and kisses my neck again before going over to make his coffee.

I rolled my eyes before finishing the food and took a plate over to the table to sit down. Elena was happily eating her food and humming a song. I smiled at her before sitting down and starting to eat. Alastor soon joined us as he got his coffee and made today's paper appear in his hand. Rufio was even enjoying his morning food as well.

"So, what are you expecting from first grade?" I asked Elena to break the silence.

"I'm excited for all the things I'm going to learn." She responded.

"Do you have a specific thing you want to learn?" Alastor wondered.

"No. I want to learn it all." The girl answered.

We both smiled at her. "That's a good pup. I'm glad to hear you so excited to learn."

"I want to do more art classes." She added. "I want to learn new techniques and stuff to get better."

"That would be fun. You are already so good at your painting." I said to her.

"Yes, and I want to be awesome at it." Elena said with a sparkle in her eyes.

"Would you want that as a job?" Alastor asked.

The young hybrid put her hand to her chin in thought, "I honestly don't know yet. I like doing it for fun."

"As a hobby." Alastor told her.

"She could make money from it if she tried." I spoke.

"Maybe not live off of it but could definitely make some money." Alastor corrected.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Either way, we'll support you." I told the girl.

Elena's tail wagged happily. "Thank you, mom."

I smiled but Alastor didn't seem to be convinced with my words but went back to reading his paper. Soon we finished eating and I cleaned up the plates. I took them to the sink to wash them quickly.

"Elena, why don't you go get your book bag ready. We have to leave soon." I heard Alastor tell the young girl.

"Yes daddy." She said cheerfully and skipped back to her room.

Alastor walked over and put his coffee cup on the counter. There was a moment of silence but I could hear Alastor's stations flicking between his ears. Something troubled him.

"You're being too soft on her." Alastor finally said.

I stopped what I was doing and looked at him strangely. "Excuse me?"

"I said, you're being too soft on her." He repeated.

"How am I being too soft on her?" I questioned as I gave him a look of confusion.

"Putting ridiculous things in her head, like being a painter and stuff like that. It would never happen." The deer explained.

I slanted my eyes at him, "Alastor, she is only six. She is a child. She's allowed to dream."

"She should have more realistic ones." The Radio Demon said after a short pause.

"Alastor!" I snapped at him. "What has gotten into you? Why are you being so serious about this?"

"I'm just trying to look out for her wellbeing!" He snapped back.

"Not accepting your daughter's dreams is not looking out for her wellbeing." I told him as I crossed my arms.

"Heart, this is hell. You have to think differently. Outside the box." Alastor says as he taps the side of his head. "You have to grow up fast here or you can't survive."

"Being in hell has nothing to do with it!" I growled.

"It has everything to do with it!" Alastor yelled.

Before I blinked, the coffee cup he had in his hand flew across the kitchen and smashed against the wall. I gasped and looked at the broken cup and then back to the deer demon who looked mad and his eyes were aglow as he stared at me. My ears went and pinned back against my head. I gave a whine and gripped the front of my shirt as I looked at him with fear in my eyes. He never lashed out like that, ever. I don't know what was wrong with him. It scared me for his wellbeing.

Then the smallest voice sounded from behind Alastor. "Mommy? Daddy?"

We both paused at that and Alastor seemed to snap back to normal as he turned around. My ears went back up as I heard those small words. Elena stood by the doorway of the kitchen, her ears pinned back and she looked afraid as she was holding onto Owen tightly.

"I heard yelling and saw something break." She said softly. Then her gaze turned to the floor. "Are you mad at me?"

I finally snapped out of my thoughts as my ears went back and I went and kneeled down in front of the girl, pushing past Alastor as I did. "No sweetheart, we aren't mad at you. You did nothing wrong." I put my hands on the girl's cheeks. "It's ok. Mommy and daddy were just having a disagreement."

"Daddy seemed mad." Elena whispered. "He's never gotten that mad at you before."

Alastor's radio seemed to go quiet at that moment as I heard his sounds die off. Like the sound of a radio being turned off.

"I know, he wasn't mad. He was just concerned." I told her.

Elena looked away from me for a moment and hid her face in Owen. "I don't want daddy to turn into the old grandma. I don't want him hurting you."

"No sweetheart, daddy isn't like that. He would never hurt me and he would never hurt you." I reassured her.

The girl gave a small whine. I gave her a small kiss on her forehead and hugged her. When I pulled her out of the hug, I gave her a small smile. "Now, it's your first day of school. We should get going or you'll be late." I said.

That gave Elena a little smile and she nodded. "I have my bag ready. Let me go get it." She said and then ran off.

I stood up and turned around to see Alastor leaning against the counter, his arms crossed and his ears back. I could tell he was upset and probably with himself. "I'm sorry." He whispered. "I didn't want her to see me like that."

I walked up to him and put a hand on his arm. "She's going to find out more about you eventually. She's going to know what you've done in the past. You are her father though and nothing will change that or how she sees you." I reassured him.

Alastor sighed. "I hope so. I don't want my own daughter to be afraid of me because of what I am."

I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Let's just get her to school for now, ok?"

"Ok." The deer answered softly.

Soon enough Elena was back and with her bookbag on her back, her tail wagging excited. "Alrighty let's go!"

We smiled at her and went to collect things before going out to the car and getting into it. Once we were all set, Alastor took off towards the school. The drive to school was quiet. Elena enjoyed just looking out the window. Alastor kept both of his hands on the wheel. I have my hand on the seat in case he wanted to hold it, but he never did. He was probably to upset with himself right now.

Pulling into the parking lot we looked up at the familiar building. I turned in my seat to look at Elena. "Now, we can't walk you this year like we did for kindergarten. Your home room number is in your bookbag on your notebook. Alright?"

"Got it. Thanks mommy. Can... you guys at least walk me up to the stairs?" She wondered as she played with her fingers.

"Of course, pup." I answered smiling. "Let's go then." I then got out of the car and went to the back seat to get the girl out.

Alastor got out and stood close by. When I took the girls hand, we started walking. We stopped soon after and Elena held her hand out to Alastor. That made the man smile more and reached down to hold his daughter's hand. We walked her up to the front of the school and stopped at the bottom of the steps.

I kneeled down in front of Elena and put my hands on her shoulders. "Alright. First day of first grade. You behave yourself." I said to her.

"Don't let those bullies get to you either." Alastor added.

"Yes daddy. They won't get me this year." She says determined.

"That's my girl." He said as he patted her head. "Now go on. Don't want you to be late and you have to find your room."

The girl nodded. She gave both of us a hug and then ran up the stairs and into the school. We watched her walk in with a few other students. Once she was out of our sites we turned and walked back to the car. I reached over and held Alastor's hand, which seemed to surprise him at first but eventually he held my hand back. When we got back to the car we sat in silence for a moment as Alastor got into the driver seat.

I saw him grip the steering wheel a little. "I'm sorry for my outburst this morning." He started. "It was unnecessary for me to act that way."

"It's ok Al." I said softly as I put my hand on his leg. "You were just looking out for Elena and her future. I can understand."

He sighed. "I know, but...I shouldn't have done what I did in front of Elena." The deer said sadly as his ears went back.

"We didn't know she was there. It's not like we could have stopped that." I said and then sighed. I leaned over to give him a kiss on the cheek. "Let's go home and relax, ok?"

Alastor nodded and he smiled more at my kiss. "Sounds wonderful to me, my love." He said as he started to car and we headed back home.

(Third Person POV)

Elena walked down the main hall of school and saw all the kids there. She took a breath and walked to her room. She tried to remember the number. 165? No no. 175? She huffed out annoyedly and took out her notebook from her book back and looked at the number her mother had written down for her.

"Oh, 157. I was a little off." Elena giggled at herself and then walked off towards the room.

She looked along the numbers as she walked and soon got to the room and walked inside with a big smile on her face. The room was a little bigger than the one she had last year. Some kids were already there talking and putting things away. Plus finding their desks that were arranged in a half square. There were little cards on the desks that had kids' names on them so they knew where to sit.

Elena walked in more and saw the cubbies along the left side of the wall. Those also had names in them. She walked along them until she found her name. Her tail wagged as she hung up her book bag and took out her pencil case since, she already had her notebook out and then her folder. She then went and looked around the desks. They were put in two rows so she went to the front row and started to look at the names.

We went down the desks and didn't find her name in the first row. Although she did find her friend Sam's name on the desk at the end of the row. That made her excited to see that her friend would be in her room again. The hybrid found her desk in the second though, right on the end, behind Sam. She smiled as she sat down in her chair, it wagged behind her with excitement. Since she was right on the end...she didn't get to see the name beside her.

The person in the desk beside her sat down as well. Elena was too busy setting up her supplies on her desk as well as folding up the nametag to stand up. She didn't have an opportunity to stop from being pushed off her chair and flung to the floor.

The girl let out a small scream in surprise since she was not expecting it. She fell to the hard floor luckily, she didn't hurt herself but her tail did get stuck in the chair and she let out a whine from the pain of her tail being pinched. She tried to get her tail unstuck but then the chair was pulled and she let out a high-pitched fawn cry of distress. Usually, her deer noises never came through that often but it was so sudden that it came out that way.

"Aw did the poor little deer get its tail stuck?" A fake sounding baby voice said. Then a puff of air followed by laughter. "How pathetic."

Elena knew that voice. When she looked up, she saw none other than that hellhound, CJ. The hound leaned down and put his foot on top of the chair. The grin on the boy's face had Elena worried a little. Damnit, it was only the first day of school and it didn't even start yet.

"Looks like we get to sit next to each other." CJ said smiling. "This year is going to be fun." The boy said and then took Elena's pencil case and dumped it to the floor. "Oops, I'm clumsy. Sorry about that." He laughed and then threw the case at the girl's side.

The boy walked off and his other imp friend, Tick, which was close by.

Elena sighed and reached to try and get her tail unstuck. "Le con." She whispered under her breath.

The young hybrid picked up on her dad's French now and then. He was teaching her as well now and then so she was becoming better with her French. Her dad did always tell her to use her French more often so she could get the hand of using it now and then.

As she tried to get her tail unstuck, someone reached over and got her tail for her. The girl was surprised and when she looked up, she smiled. It was Sam. She was finally here.

"Sam!" Elena said excitedly as she stood up and hugged her Imp friend.

The imp chuckled as the hybrid hugged her and she hugged back. "Nice to see you, Elena. I already see you getting in trouble with CJ." She says.

The girl sighed and her ears went back. "He sits next to me. I didn't even realize when he sat down and he pushed me."

"It's ok. Maybe we can talk to the teacher." Sam suggested.

"Maybe." Elena said sadly.

Sam patted her friend's shoulder. "It will be ok Elena, I promise."

Elena smiled. "Thanks Sam." Her ears went up and her tail wagged, even though it was a little sore. "At least you sit in front of me."

"Wait, really!?" Sam says and goes to the desk in front of Elena's. "Bitching." She whispered. She turned around to look back at her friend. "Teaming it up as always." She winked.

"Agreed." She smiled with a tail wag.

Soon the door to the classroom opened loudly. Soon enough a giant grey minotaur demon walked into the room. He wore a dress shirt that seemed too small for him and a red tie. Small glasses framed his nose. He had pants on but no shoes so his hooves clicked against the floor. The room all jumped at the door opening and they all scrambled to their seats or trying to find their seats.

The room was quiet as the minotaur grabbed a piece of chalk and wrote on the board. Mr. El Toro was his name. He was their first-grade teacher and he was a scary mother fucker. He turned around and fixed his glasses a moment before standing taller.

"Good morning students." He started off and he had a deep voice with a slight Spanish accent. "Welcome to your first day back and your true first day of real school. This isn't kindergarten anymore kitties. This is the real deal."

The students were silent as they looked at him. This dude was serious for only teaching a bunch of first grade demon kids. I guess that's hell for you though. As the teacher talked Elena had picked up all her pencils and put them back into her holder. She kept everything on the left side of her desk so that CJ couldn't grab anything. She glanced at him a moment from the corner of her eye and she could tell that he wasn't intimidated by the big bull type demon.

"Since the day has started, let's do a roll call so I know everyone is at least here." Mr. Toro said and went over to his desk to pull out a clipboard.

He went around the room calling on everyone's names and then when he got to Elena, he paused. He looked around the room for a moment. "Elena Ledet?"

"Here!" Elena raised her hand and the teacher quickly looked at her as she put her hands down slowly.

"So, they weren't lying to me when they said the Radio Demon had a kid. And said kid would be in my class." He then chuckled and then took a pause. He shrugged. "I'm not impressed." He huffed. "I expected something more if it was from the Radio Demon. Not...this." The bull gestured to the girl.

Elena felt a little hurt from the teacher's words. Why were they always expecting so much from her? She didn't understand. She knew her dad was an overlord, which was something special. He was powerful, she knew that as well. Her dad could do a lot with his magic and spiritual things. Stuff that she would have to learn eventually. Was there more to her dad that people expected out of her? She didn't understand.

"I'm just a kid though. What would you expect out of me?" Elena asked curiously.

The bull walked over to that side of the room. "Come on, a kid of the Radio Demon and they aren't some kind of psychotic, stuck up, asshole? I'm honestly surprised. Plus, you're not ugly so I guess that's a plus."

Elena's ears went back at that. "I don't know why you think my dad is any of those things."

"Oh, he is. Or at least he was. He got soft. He isn't no tough overlord anymore it seems. Until he got married to that just plain, old, boring demon." Mr. Toro said with a huff.

"You leave my mommy out of this. She had nothing to do with affecting my dad." Elena said, a little angered.

"Oh, did I strike a nerve?" The bull grinned.

"My daddy could still kick your ass." Elena threatened. "He protects us. So, he can be scary when he needs to be."

Mr. Toro looked at the hybrid with slanted eyes then. "All the Radio Demon ever does is hide away in his radio tower, doing his shows. He never comes out to cause chaos anymore. The city used to be fearful of him. He slaughtered many. Killed and ate thousands. The city used to be on fire and people hid. He overthrew overlords and gained power faster than anyone I've ever seen. So, tell me...is that the same man?"

Elena listened and her ears went back again, what was he saying? She didn't understand. Did...did her dad actually do all those things? How scary was he for real? Elena just went quiet as the room was quiet. She had nothing to say to that. Her gaze went to her desk.

Mr. Toro laughed. "That's what I thought, runt. You better watch your tongue."

Then a voice spoke up from in front of Elena, "I don't know what high you get from bullying your students but you're just being an asshole."

Elena looked up to see Sam was the one that said that. The girl loved her friend and enjoyed when she helped her but this was probably a fight, she couldn't help her with.

"You keep yourself out of this little miss or I'll have your parents out of a job before I can blink. That and I'll give you detention." Mr. Toro huffed.

Sam flipped him off and just didn't way a word. The bull had smoke puff out of his nose and he stood up straight. He said nothing and just continued on like nothing happened and called out the rest of the names.

This year of school was going to already be interesting and Elena wasn't sure if she was ready for it after all.

Heart and Alastor sat in the parking lot of the school together. They didn't have any calls from the school, which they were grateful for. At least nothing happened on the first day. At least not physically. They didn't want what happened in kindergarten to happen again.

"Do you think she had an ok day today?" Heart asked Alastor.

"Hopefully so. We didn't get a call so I'm assuming today went fine." The deer reassured her.

"Yes, that's true. Hopefully she got an ok teacher this year." Heart said a little nervous.

"Honestly, probably not." Alastor informed her. "I've heard that some of the first-grade teachers can be tough."

Heart's ears went back to that, "Well, I hope she still has a good first day." Heart sighed.

When the bell rang the kids ran out of the school. After coming back to school, the first day was always one you wanted to get out the fastest. Plus, the last day of school.

The parents got out of the car and went to stand in front of the vehicle. Soon enough they saw Elena but she did not look very happy. Sam was beside her and it looked like she was trying to comfort her friend. The young hybrid's ears were down, her eyes to the ground and her tail wrapped around her leg, they could tell she did not have a good first day. Heart looked to Alastor worried and reached over to grab his hand. Alastor looked down at his wife and saw the worried look on her face. He brought her close to his side, whispering in her ear that things will be ok.

When Elena got to the car she went up to her mom and hugged her around her legs. Heart was surprised by this and leaned down to hug the girl better. Sam stood behind her friend and had a frown.

Heart pulled away from their hug. "I take it you didn't have the best first day at school?" She asked her softly.

Elena just shook her head.

"You want to talk about it?" Alastor asked her.

Again, the girl shook her head.

"Ok, let's head home and you can relax. Daddy can make dinner tonight." Heart suggested.

"I can even make your favorite tonight." Alastor added.

Elena looked up at Alastor and just smiled small and nodded.

"Come on pup, let's get you in the car." Heart says and takes the girl to the side of the car.

Sam stood there still and Alastor looked down at her. "Do you need a ride home little imp?"

"If its ok, I'd like to come over and be with Elena?" She told him. "My parents are out on a job right now anyway. It is taking them longer than they thought."

"Of course. I'm sure she would enjoy her friend's company." Alastor said with a smile. "Would you like to tell me what happened today? I'll assume you are in the same class together?" He wondered.

Sam nodded with a small sigh. "To put it short. Our homeroom teacher is an asshole."

Alastor chuckled. "I assumed as much."

"That and he said that he was expecting more from Elena because she-" The imp got cut off.

"-She's the daughter of the Radio Demon?" Alastor finished.

Sam just nodded sadly.

The deer demon let out a sigh of frustration. "I had a feeling she would run into a demon like that eventually."

"He also was saying you've gone soft." Same said in a low voice.

Alastor's ears twitched with annoyance and his stations flickered around a moment. "Soft? If there is anything I am not; it's soft." He said with a lot more static behind his voice.

"Then you won't like what he said about why you're soft. He talked about your wife." Sam winced.

The deer let out a huff. "If it's because I got married and have a family now than they are more wrong." Just then Heart walked around to stand beside Alastor. He looked at her. "Remind me to kill Elena's teacher after school is over."

"Alastor!" Heart says and smacks his arm. "No killing teachers."

"What? I said after school is over. He hurt our daughter and made fun of me and you. I will not take kindly to that." Alastor said with a hiss.

Heart sighed. "Say what? What kind of prick is this guy?"

"A big one." Sam said.

"After school is over. Unless he gives us a legitimate reason." The woman told him sternly.

"Maybe I'll take him to be a special guest on my show." Alastor said with a grin.

Heart rolled her eyes. "He is a free game to you. Although I think it will be fun."

"Oh, you are such a devil." Alastor said with a big smile as he looked at his wife.

"I blame you." Heart grinned back at him.

Sam coughed. "Can you flirt later? Is it ok if I come over please?"

Alastor and Heart pulled away and they blushed. Alastor cleared his throat. Heart was the one to answer though, "Of course you can Sam. Let's get home then."

The three got in the car. Sam sitting next to Elena who wrapped an arm around her friend to comfort her. The parents sat in the front of the car and just gave her a comforting smile. Alastor started to drive back home.

"Elena don't let that teacher get to you. If there is anyone who knows your father best, it's us. They don't know anything." Heart said to her as she looked at her daughter in the back seat.

The girl had her ears pinned back. "But it felt like they did know him." She said softly. "He talked about things daddy used to do and why he doesn't do them anymore."

"What kind of things?" Heart wondered.

Elena was silent for a moment but then said. "That...he used to do a lot of bad things. Like causes chaos around the city. Kill people. Eat people." She kept getting softer with each thing she listed.

There was a moment of silence in the car. Alastor just kept his eyes on the road even though his hands were gripping the steering wheel with force as his daughter spoke about him. He didn't want to have this conversation with her. Not yet. It looks like it couldn't be avoided now either.

"Elena, you realize we're in hell, right? You know, full of bad people who did bad things." Sam said bluntly to her.

"Sam." Heart hushed the girl.

The Imp only shrugged, "Just being truthful."

"I know." The hybrid eventually said softly. "I know. I guess...it's something I'm not used to yet."

The car went silent again.

Eventually Alastor spoke. "I'll tell you everything when we get home."

"Alastor?" Heart said surprised as she looked at her husband.

"She deserves to know. If she is curious about it then we should tell her." The Radio Demon said.

Heart's ears went back as she looked down at the seat. She gave a sigh. "I guess I should tell her why I'm here to."

Alastor gave a small chuckle. "Yours isn't as bad as mine darling."

Heart turned in her seat with her ears still pinned against her head. She faced her upper body towards the door. "I still did it though...and I'm here...all because I got angry." She whispered.

Alastor looked over to his wife a moment with his ears going back slightly. He sighed and just placed a hand on her side and rubbed it slightly. Elena sighed as well and just leaned into Sam. She wasn't sure what her parents were going to tell her. She did know one thing though...no matter what, they will always be her parents and she will love them no matter what.

Poor little Elena, she can't have anything go right in school, can she?
