We then entered a cave and I saw Littlefoot tumble down. I slide down after him. He landed on some sort of strange thing. It looks strange to me. Very strange. I don't understand what is going on. Then all of a sudden, it moved.
That's surprising. Sure is. I then got my eyes open wide. I know that that is. It's a scolosaurus. From what I saw, it doesn't look happy. Not one bit. Littlefoot looked scared a bit. I have to defend him. I can also protect him. Now! The scolosaurus then said, "What is going on?" Littlefoot whimpered. I would be brave. I will for Littlefoot's mother. That's what I'll do. I am gonna do it.
The scolosaurus then said with a huff, "What's your problem? You're not hurt." I snapped at the scolosaurus and said, "Back off creature! Leave him alone!" The old dinosaur looked surprised at me. I didn't move and just glared at the scolosaurus. Littlefoot was in tears and said, " It's not fair! She should have knew better. That was Sharptooth. It is all her fault."
The scolosaurus realized what he is saying and meant at the same time. Littlefoot came to me and I comforted him. I glared at the scolosaurus and said, "Well you see, a nasty carnivore that is named Sharptooth came out of nowhere and attacked us. His mother died trying to protect us, so don't you dare say that we are hurt!"
The scolosaurus nodded saying that he sees. Littlefoot whimpered, "Why did I wander so far from home?" I sighed and said, "It's my fault too Littlefoot. I didn't have enough courage to fight that carnivore. I could've stopped that carnivore from harming your mother when I had that chance."
The old scolosaurus felt sorry for us. He then said, Oh, it's not your fault. Neither of you. It's not your mother's fault, either. Now, you pay attention to ol' Rooter. It is nobody's fault. The Great Circle of Life has begun. But you see, not all of us arrive together at the end." Littlefoot then said, "What'll I do? I am going to miss her so much."
The scolosaurus then said to us, "And you might always miss her. But she'll always be with you, as long as you remember the things she taught you. In a way, you'll never be apart, for you are still part of each other." Littlefoot then said, "My tummy hurts."
The old scolosaurus then said, "Well, that, too, should go in time, little fella. Only in time." Then he took a look at me and he said, "Well I'll be, a real human." I gasped and said, "Have you seen one before?" The old scolosaurus nodded and said, "When you get to be my age, you would know most things, I seen them before and heard stories of them as well. Wonderful creatures they are indeed. Tell me young girl, what's your name?"
I answered, "I'm Aurora." The scolosaurus then said, "Well sweet Aurora, I'm seeing you have a strong noble and loyal spirt. You're braver than you seem and already know. I want you to remember this now Aurora: what makes you stronger are the ones you hold so close to your own heart."
I got confused. I didn't know what he meant. What does he mean that I am braver than I seem? Then he left. I have a lot to know about.
Maybe I'll find out.
