It had been another average day, and now it was night and everyone had gathered around the fire. sango and miroku were sitting together, with kirara laying by her feet. and kagome and inuyasha were sitting together as well. and it was growing colder and shippo who was sitting by himself moved closer to the fire. he would of sat by kagome or sango but he didn't want to intrude.

kirara awoke afew minutes later and was expecting to shippo with one of the other in the group, but he had stayed put and continued to feed the fire. she realized he was still alone and quickly hopped up and walked over to him. she mewed as she approched him, and shippo looked back to see kirara walking to him. shippo smiled as kirara stepped beside him and sat down. "hi kirara!" he said happily, and kirara mewed back to him. kirara puts her tails around him and rests her head on his shoulder. "kirara?" he asked slightly bewildered by her actions and she mews her reply to him. "its not that cold out, but thats still nice thou." he says and put an arm around her and hold her close, and he blushes alittle.

kirara looks at the ground for a moment and starts blushing, then looks at him. kirara puts a paw on his leg and leans up to him and licks his face. shippo sits shocked for a second, he turns and looks at her, gazing into her luminous orange eyes. he was nervous untill kirara mewed again. kirara was looking at him with a pleased expression, and she came closer to him again."are you sure its ok?" shippo asked, and kirara nodded and mewed.

shippo moves so he is sitting infront of her, and kirara leans up to him again. Kirara starts licking all over his face."that tickles, kirara!" he gasped as he felt her sandpaper-like tongue slide into his mouth. Instinctively, he pushed his tongue back at hers, amazed at the feeling. The taste of her tongue against his was incredible, and Shippo groaned in disappointment when she pulled her tongue back. and kirara jumps up and shippo hugs her.

kagome & inuyasha who were still awake watched in complete silentence.
