Prologue
Two blondes entered the Great Hall. Lord Lucius Malfoy and a boy confusingly similar to his son. The sight caused a great stir among the students. Mostly those sitting at the Slytherin table. However, the most surprising thing was that the so-called Golden Trio was completely unaware of this situation.
Harry Potter stared at Ginny Weasley, who had recently been his girlfriend again. Ron Weasley tried to get the attention of the curly bookworm with which he had had a crush for some time. And Hermione Granger? She dreamed of going out and escaping from an overly enthusiastic friend. She didn't understand why the two boys she considered brothers had returned to school with her instead of attending Auror Training.
"Look what happens at the entrance." - Neville Longbottom drew the attention of the Gryffindor girl, placing his hand on her shoulder.
Hermione reluctantly turned to the source of the confusion. A broad smile spread across her face. - "BRAX!" - She shouted disregarding the reaction of her friends and the rest of the Gryffindors. After a while she got up and started walking towards the door.
The young blond man, standing next to the surprised Lucius Malfoy, quickly looked around the Great Hall at the sound of his nickname. As soon as he encountered the storms of familiar frizzy hair and sparkling chocolate brown eyes, he immediately smiled back. He moved to the Gryffindor table, catching the girl walking towards him in his arms.
Almost instinctively, he pulled her close. He missed her more than he expected. Fortunately, he sensed that she missed him just as intensely. After a moment of silence, he whispered in her ear. "Hermione... Given the comparison now, I think you look better in the Slytherin uniform. The green one suits you better." - The boy couldn't hide his satisfaction at meeting again.
"From what I remember I told you that I am a Gryffindor."
"Honey, you were a Gryffindor. You have become a snake and nothing will change that anymore."
The two friends didn't pay attention to the fact that their meeting was watched not only by other students but also by the professors. Mainly by Severus Snape, Minerva McGonnagal and Albus Dumbledore. And it was the last who spoke.
"Hello, Lord Malfoy. What brings you here?" - the Hogwarts Director's voice was remarkably calm despite the circumstances.
The wizard nodded at the boy standing next to Hermione Granger and said, "I think that's what we should talk to in private."
An uncertain smile appeared on the Headmaster's face. The older wizard nervously took off his glasses, put them on again almost immediately, and then replied with one sentence. - "So I invite you to my office. Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape... Please follow me."
While the professors and Lucius Malfoy headed for the door, two friends were still talking in whispers under the watchful eye of the other students. One of them was Draco Malfoy, who was too intrigued and too confused to try to ask his father what was going on.
His godfather's emphatic voice broke him, and not only him.
"I think YOU young man Miss Granger and Mr. Draco Malfoy should also come with us." - At that moment, Severus Snape saw outraged Harry Potter out of the corner of his eye. - "No, not this time, Mr. Potter. Your presence isn't required." - the amount of venom in the potions master's voice could kill even a basilisk.

Upon entering the office, Albus Dumbledore, resigned, sat down at his desk. He guessed what was going on. However, he didn't know how it could have happened. He wanted to know the answer to the question How Abraxas Malfoy traveled through time without a Time Turner. The last time he spent a year trying to send Miss Granger into the future. Now he wondered if he was facing a repeat of the worst school year in his teaching career?
"Yes, then Lucius... What happened here? I think that I know, but I'd rather have confirmation of my assumptions."
The man looked around at the crowd, took a deep breath, and began to speak.
"My irresponsible father was playing with a Time Turner. I have no idea where he got it from. I reported the situation to the Ministry and they stated that if you don't mind, he should stay at school until the situation is resolved to finish his education."
Dumbledore looked at the boy standing faithfully next to Miss Granger. Not to be overlooked was the fact that the fingers of their hands were tightly intertwined. Under the influence of his gaze, they both sat down almost immediately. - "I agree." - He said, running his fingers on his long beard. - "That would be an appropriate solution. Severus, Minevra, what do you think?"
The old witch was clearly confused. He wasn't surprised by her reaction. It was the first time she had encountered such a situation. He was worried about Severus Snape's calmness.
"I think it depends on Severus. I suppose you are..."
The young boy got up, took the professor's hand by the knit, and placed a kiss on them. - "Minnie, how can you not remember me? Abraxas Malfoy, at your service."
"Don't call me Minnie!" - Minerva's face turned a dark blush. "I'm a professor now, so you should show me respect. I don't need to finish the sentence. I remember well you were in Slytherin. You are as obnoxious as I remember it."
He gave her a broad smile in response.
"Severus, why did you invite both my father and Miss Granger?" Lucius Malfoy was trying to understand what was actually happening and it was not very successful. - "This case doesn't concern her."
Before Severus tried to reply, the Headmaster interrupted.
"On the contrary. If Professor Snape hadn't asked her, I would have sent for her anyway. Miss Granger will spend her last year at Hogwarts in Slytherin because of this situation. Or at least in the Slytherin Dormitory."
"WHAT?" - Draco Malfoy finally spoke. - "She's a Gryffindor."
"Albus you can't ..." Minerva McGonnagal seemed to be indignant at the words of her employer "I am the head of her house and I don't agree to it."
"Anyway, how do you two know each other?" Lucius looked like he wanted to explode.
"SILENCE! Miss Granger, please don't laugh like that. You too, Abraxas. I'm just heading for a reason for my decision. Something similar had happened in this school before. In 1943, Abraxas Malfoy's sister appeared. We tried to separate them, but one wouldn't go away from the other one. They calmed down only when we stopped interfering with their arrangements regarding their place. Hermione, could you clear this up?"
"Don't stare at me like that." she sighed irritably before she started talking. - "As you know, I was tortured during the war ... In short, the energy from the Bellatrix cruciatus hit my damaged Time Turner, accidentally triggering it. I moved to May 2, 1943. Due to the fact that time travels change time, not the place where you started to move, I appeared on the floor of the living room in Malfoy Manor. I was hurt and Brutus took care of me. Over the summer, I bonded with Brax. In September, I went to school. The situation was reported to the Department of Secrets where my dad worked." - Hermione looked at the blonde sitting next to her. "Yes Brax, I still think of him as a father. In any case, if it was unsuccessful to send me back to my day, he offered me to join the family. At school I was, as you well know, Headmaster, assigned to Slytherin. And I spent most of my time with my family."
"Granger a Slytherin? This hasn't happened yet. Mudblood in Slytherin."
"You know that when I come back, I can take my property from you and hand it over to the Grangers?" Abraxas retorted.
"Father, Grandfather won't let that happen."
"And here you are wrong. As my father's adopted daughter, she had received half of the Malfoy estate on the day of his death." Before anyone could react, Abraxas continued. - "We'll get our old shared dormitory?"
Lucius and Draco paled, and Severus began to choke. Minerva was the only one who could say something.
"Shared dormitory? It's not moral."
"Maybe not, but they are siblings." - Albus Dumbledore sounded like he didn't see anything wrong with that. "We'd have to give it to them anyway. I and Dippet have tried to keep them separate, but the bond between them is stronger than that between Miss Granger and Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley. Miss Granger had dismantled the guards preventing the girls from entering the boys' dormitory and had benefited from their hospitality more than once. Besides, it will be easier to keep an eye on them if they are together. We need to send Mr. Abraxas Malfoy back. Not only because of the possible destruction of the timeline. I just can't take another year with the Malfoy siblings. Last time I ended up walking around with green hair for half a year. Nothing could erase it. I had to cut them in the end, because Miss Malfoy… I'm sorry Miss Granger didn't know or wouldn't give me the counter-spell."
While Hermione was delighted to be sitting next to her brother, four adults and one teenager stared at the girl in shock. Was that really their Hermione?

Abraxas Malfoy looked at the wizard who was said to be his son. If he were to guess, his grandson looked more like his son than Lucius himself. He sighed and, smiling, turned to Hermione.
"Honey, is this the ferret you told me about?" - The blonde asked his friend.
She chuckled at his direct question. - "You know he can hear you?" - Seeing his confident smirk, she knew that he was aware of it, so she answered his question. - "Yes, it's him."
The family senior turned to his grandson. And he said with a certain voice. - "Don't stare at her like that. Everyone can see that you like my sister." - he sighed and continued, "Take it easy, she wasn't adopted by blood so you can still marry her."
Hermione looked into her friend's eyes. She blushed and hid in his embrace. The boy felt the warmth of her tears. And he heard a soft whisper.
- I missed you so much. So…
- Me too. That's why I threw myself into deep water. I will take you with me. I don't know how, but I'll do it. The boys are waiting. And they will not stop. We'll change history when you come back. Together.
