This was a big night for Kaito Marx. After months of anticipation, he had finally achieved his goal to have his first debut match. He tightened his mask and singlet to make sure it wouldn't become loose. He then turned his head to a photo he had of his parents, the famous mixed tag team, Aika and Hiroman Marx. Like his parents, Kaito aimed to become a great wrestler.

After reminiscing about his parents, Kaito left the locker room and headed to the main stage. He was greeted by the large crowd of proud fans who cheered for the son of the Marx power couple. But as much as he adored his fans, he was the most excited about his girlfriend who waited for him at ringside.

Catrina Horace was Kaito's faithful girlfriend for over a year and she has supported him in all his training. After meeting her in her red dress, he stroked her blonde hair.

"You ready, big boy?" Catrina asked twirling her finger at her boyfriend's pectoral area.

Kaito blushed at her gestures. "Oh, yeah. I've ben training, and I'm more than ready to follow my parent's footsteps. For luck?" He leaned in for a kiss, but Catrina placed her finger on his lips to stop him.

"My kiss is an award, not a good luck charm. Win this, and you'll get your kiss, and then some."

Kaito smiled at the insinuation and proceeded to climb into the ring. Once inside, he stood across his opponent: Vektor the Annihilator. If Kaito wanted to follow his father's footsteps, he was on the right track, for Vektor is Hiroman's greatest rival.

Vektor stood nearly twice as tall as Kaito and with three times his muscle density. He was like the Big Show had merged with Brock Lesner. Vektor had a bald head, but a very low-cut beard. What he lacked in hair, he made up for with scars; three that went over his bald head and three big ones that went diagonally across his chest. He also had two black wristbands that were worn alongside white bandages around his hands. He wore black tights along with big, black boots.

Seeing his father's greatest rival in person, Kaito was both scared and excited. He readied himself while Vektor just stood there smugly.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to present our main event match set for one fall! Introducing first, Vektor the Annihilator! And introducing his opponent, making his pro wrestling debut, the son of Aika and Hiroman Marx, Kaito Marx!"

DING-DING!

Kaito confidently jumped left and right waiting for an opportunity. Vektor on the other hand walked up to the center of the ring looking less than enthused.

"Come on, kid." Vektor said. "We gonna wrestle or we gonna dance?"

"You wanna wrestle?" Kaito asked eagerly. "I'll show you how I wrestle!" He shot him with a kick to his stomach, but Vektor didn't even feel it. Instead, the bigger wrestler grabbed him by his leg and shot his fist down right at his body sending him down to the mat.

Kaito groaned in pain struggling to breathe. But Vektor wasn't quite done yet. He wrapped his arms around Kaito's legs and spun him around. Kaito couldn't escape from this giant swing before Vektor let him go and sent him crashing back to the mat.

Kaito sorely stood back up facing his tougher opponent. He ran right at him and Vektor tried to grab him. Unfortunately for him, Kaito ducked out of the way and slipped behind Vektor. He then jumped right onto Vektor's back locking in a sleeper hold. He thought it would get the job done, but he was mistaken. Vektor ran backwards and crashed Kaito right into the ring turnbuckles. The poor Marx wrestler yelled in pain letting to and falling to the mat much to the surprise and worry of the audience.

Vektor grabbed Kaito by his shoulders and lifted him up so his feet wasn't touching the mat. "Is that all you got? I expected better from Hiroman Marx's bastard. But even my own daughter can crush you. Well, better get this over with." He hit him with several headbutts making the audience more and more worried. Catrina tightened her grips furiously. Once he was done, Vektor wrapped his arms around Kaito's body and squeezed very tightly. Kaito lost his breath quickly losing his vision. Eventually, he lost all his consciousness to Vektor's bearhug.

DING-DING!

The sound of the bell was what woke Kaito up. When he did, he looked up at Vektor who took in the boos of the crowd as if he was hearing applause. Kaito weakly rolled out of the ring and met up with Catrina.

"I lost, didn't I?" Kaito asked already knowing the answer.

"Yeah, big time." Catrina replied smacking him upside the head. "What was all that training for?"

"I know. I'm sorry." Kaito said. "So I guess no kiss tonight."

"Win a match, then we'll talk." Catrina said sternly.

It never got better for Kaito Marx. In fact, it only got worse. Match after match, his losing streak kept growing. After his third loss, his old gym coach decided to let him go to save face. He joined another gym, but was released after another set of losses. But as much as they all hurt, nothing hurt more than his tenth loss.

Kaito's opponent was a red-masked luchadore from Mexico called El Langosta. He was only half of Kaito's height, but just like all his other opponents, Kaito was at his mercy. Kaito was facedown on the mat while his opponent locked in a calf crusher. Kaito was screaming from the top of his lungs while coming face to face with his girlfriend who looked infuriated at this point.

"Come on, Marx! Don't lose this match! This is your best chance to win!"

She was right. Out of all the matches he had so far, this was the one Kaito had the best chance of winning. But he didn't even have a chance against El Langosta. Kaito kept screaming drowning out his girlfriend's yells until he had no choice but to tap out.

DING-DING!

El Langosta released Kaito and went around the ring in celebration. Kaito in the meantime rolled out of the ring holding onto his limp leg. He kept from falling thanks to Catrina.

"Are you all right?" Catrina asked. "Are you hurt?"

"Yes." Kaito said. "But I think I'll be fine."

"NO, YOU WON'T!" Catrina yelled out as she suddenly shot her foot up hitting Kaito right between his legs. The poor man gasped feeling numb in his lower areas. He fell to his knees.

"Catrina… why…" Kaito managed to say.

Catrina proceeded to kick him down to his back and press his foot on his chest. "Why? Because having you for a boyfriend is an embarrassment! Do you have any idea how this looks for me being in a relationship with a jobber like you? Well, no more! WE… ARE… THROUGH!"

The crowd gasped at that. Catrina removed her foot before walking away leaving Kaito nearly weak and helpless on the ground.

Kaito was thrown to the brick wall of a dark alley. He was covered with bruises that stung when the nighttime rain fell on them. His assailant continued to beat on him with kicks to his stomach. All he could do was cry.

"Miyako, please, stop." Kaito sobbed. "I'm your brother."

His sister growled and picked him up by his shirt. She pushed him roughly to the wall and kept her face close to his. "And that's the worst part. You kept deluding yourself with this stupid fantasy that you're meant to be a good wrestler. But all your losses have proven that you're nothing more than a disgrace. The fact that you're my brother makes me ashamed." She sent several jabs to his stomach after that before letting him fall to his knees groaning in pain.

"Stop!" Kaito begged. "What will Mom and Dad say?"

"Mom and Dad?" Miyako asked. "It's their fault for even giving you a chance to compete! Even with all your losses, they're still letting you wrestle when they know how much of a loser you are! Well, if this is the kind of family you all are, then I want nothing to do with you! When you get home, you can tell them that I'm moving out and proving myself to be a real wrestler! But before I go…"

Miyako grabbed Kaito by his arm and dragged him to a dirty dumpster. She opened it up and left his arm hanging inside of it. She then grabbed the dumpster lid preparing to slam it down right on his shoulder.

Kaito gasped with complete fear. "No! Miyako, don't!"

"Good luck wrestling with a broken arm, loser!" Miyako said preparing to slam the lid down. But all of a sudden…

"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!"

The woman's voice called in from outside of the alleyway. Miyako stopped herself and growled. "You got lucky." She walked away from the dumpster and ran off into the darkness.

Kaito manage to free his arm and sink down to the ground with raindrops falling all over him. The woman who saved him walked on over to him and covered him with an umbrella.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

"…No." Kaito admitted sadly.

Feeling sorry for him, the woman helped him up and helped carry him. "Come on. Let's get you out of this rain."

Kaito didn't say much when he entered the woman's hotel room. He just took a long shower, redressed himself, and sat in a chair with the woman bringing him a first aid kid. Kaito accepted it and applied it on himself.

"You got a lot of bruises, but it looks like it'll clear up." The woman said.

"Yeah, until I get back in the ring and my next opponent sends me to the hospital." Kaito said sadly.

"So you're a wrestler?"

"Not according to literally everyone. I'm nothing but a jobber and everyone hates me."

"Is that a fact? Tell me, are you Kaito Marx?"

"You heard of me, huh?"

"Heard of you? Kid, I knew your mother."

Kaito was surprised. "What?"

"You heard me. Your mother and I used to wrestle together. I was there are her wedding and she's been telling me how much she worried over her son. That's why I came here. I want to help."

"How? Do you have a can of spinach that can give me Popeye strength?"

"No, but what I do have is an opportunity for you. I'm starting a wrestling organization of my own, and I think you'll be a good addition to it."

Kaito scoffed at the idea. "I heard that before. But every time I face someone, I get hospitalized and my gym has to pay for it. That's why they keep cutting me from their rosters."

"You get hospitalized because your opponents are usually in a different weight class. Most men are. But my organization is going to have an all-female roster."

Kaito went from surprised to confused in an instant. "Wait. You're starting an women's league of wrestlers, and you're asking me, a man, to join?"

"That is correct."

"Do you see the controversy there?"

"I admit, it's peculiar to have a man join my women's roster, but I do believe this is a smart choice and I believe this could be good for you."

"Good for me? All I'm going to do is get my ass kicked by a bunch of women."

"And you'll still be able to walk. You said so yourself, whenever you face a man in the ring, you end up in the hospital. Well, at my league, the worst that can happen to you is a trip to the infirmary."

Kaito was hesitant. "I still don't know."

"Kaito, you said it yourself; no men's gym will keep you for long. Not only that, but no other women's gym will even want to have a man with them. This is the best deal you're ever going to get. Tell me, do you love wrestling?"

"…Yes. Okay. I'm in."

"Thank you, Mr. Marx." The woman offered her hand to shake.

"I should be the one thanking you." Kaito said accepting the handshake. "I don't even know your name."

"It's Sayuri Rogue. Welcome to Xtrema."
