No real notes for the start, so it's review time!

Zathol: Yeah, it's kinda hard to be surprised by someone claiming to be from a different world, when almost every other demon has some demon blood art that controls space! Like the woman from the Entertainment District arc has an obi that contains people, Tanjiro's first mission has a demon that can go underground in a special area, and there are two separate demons that can shift around the interior of a house with instruments!

Robbeeyy: Who can say? Oh wait! I can! :P

Dethcat: As fun as Metal Gear Revengenances could be, I don't think I could make it work without it being a parody thing.

Oakarigan0: Maybe! I might already have a little something with the main cast coming soon! And thank you for your kind words!

Riotist: Damn that is a review! Okay so I won't address everything you said because I don't want this chapter an extra three thousands words from that. But I do agree with a lot of what you said. I probably won't use Berserk since I havn't really read it, but I do plan to send Jaune to a story with a darker premise. Not quite the soul crushing kind of premise of Berserk but still a darker tone overall. One thing I will be doing different is each world will be a growing point for Jaune, each unique and more than just learning to be realistic with his goals. Jojo is a no as well, it's a little too weird for me. I have read up to midway through Golden Wind and I don't think it's a really usable place. A more normal world is in the plan, just not too soon ya know. But thank you for the review!

TheNotSoFantasique: I don't know about Dead Space, I would have to actually watch a play through of the game to decide. Berserk is a no since I know really nothing about it. Tokyo Ghoul is one to consider, I do feel like I could have some fun playing with the themes of Jaune joining the distinctly non human side. And I know nothing of Dungeon Munchies, I will have to check it out though!

deans1000: I'm not saying Pyrrha trained Jaune poorly, more that she coddled him. She also only really trained him for a few hours on a rooftop after school. While they are still dealing with school work, Jaune needing to train more than his sword and shield work, and train his Aura. Simply put, five hours a few days a week isn't enough to actually train someone up enough to be really competent. You also have to remember Pyrrha liked Jaune and she is super insecure about her strength and how people see it. So of course she would take it easy to not scare away Jaune. Not saying she would of scared him away, but she is a teenager with her first chance at romance.

CheeseMan055: I don't really know much about Persona or Xenoblade, but I might listen to a timeline to two to get a feel. No promises tho.

It had only been two months in this world, and yet Jaune felt like he was settling in quite nicely.

His Aura was quite the help working out, both as a simple stamina increase, and also to help with the after effects of his training. Yang did make good on her promise and upped the levels of his training by a few levels of magnitude more. They were still increasing to the point where Jaune was regularly lifting boulders. Granted he cheated a little with Aura, but it was like two for one training! Yang and Mitsuri were regularly called away for important missions and always came back. Not always in one piece however.

Just last week Mitsuri came back with a nasty back wound! Oh sure she claimed it's because she wasn't used to the style she was slowly building, Love Breathing, but that did not stop Jaune from worrying!

Just because I can heal it easily doesn't mean you shouldn't be careful! And what does she do after I chew her out? Head out next week to fight again! God that woman!

Jaune sighed and put his thoughts out of his head. He glanced down at his training sword and tried tapping into that ability he used a while ago. The blonde remembered the fire and the screams, his breathing quickened his pulse raced and his hands tightened on his sword. Jaune took a few moments to breathe in and out, trying to even his pluse as he pushed the thoughts from his mind.

Jaune wanted to focus on the sheer power and speed he pulled out of nowhere when he first fought the Kitzuki member a few months back. He still didn't understand why he freaked out and saw it as Cinder, he just wanted to know how he could move faster than ever before. Maybe that was his semblance? Speed? Jaune tried remembering a conversation he had a while back with a certain red speedster.

"You want to know what it feels like?" Ruby blinked, Jaune had just approached her in the lunch line. He already had his tray in his hands but seemingly turned around when he spotted his best friend.

"Yeah. I've had my Aura for a while now, and yet I'm still no closer to finding my semblance and using it. I've already asked Pyrrha and Nora, they weren't exactly helpful. I don't feel a pull to metal and I don't wanna chance a lightning strike and hope I survive." They both laughed, remembering Nora's crazy story about finding her semblance.

Ruby hummed, "It's… hard to describe. It's like I… it's like I just feel something click and then my feet are moving. My whole body does. I feel the world slow down, or I guess I speed up. And then I'm moving. I go from being here to there. Sorry, Jaune."

"No, Ruby, don't apologize. I guess it would be kinda hard to describe moving that fast. Maybe I should ask Blake? Or Weiss. Thank you for your help, Ruby. I'll tell you as soon as I figure something out."

"No problemo friendo! Good luck!"

It didn't quite feel like how Ruby described her semblance. He ignored the tightening of his chest, the teen wanted to finish his training before he got lost in his memories of his lost friends.

If I want to be of use I should figure out my semblance as soon as possible. I need to get stronger! I want to stop these demons from killing anyone else.

Jaune clenched his sword tighter, his mind made and a promise made to himself. He got ready to get back into training.

"Dinner's ready!"

And promptly screamed. He swung his wooden sword at the intruder. Fighting instincts honed through numerous Grimm hunts and the recent weeks of training insured his strike was fast and accurate. Accurately past the laughing face of Yang as she dodged backwards.

"Haha! The look on your face! Priceless Shield boy!" Yang doubled over laughing to herself and Jaune felt an embarrassed flush cross his face.

The Flame Hashira seemed determined to make his life difficult at every opportunity. Whether that be from sudden changes to his training, surprise reflex testing spars, or even her favorite sport. Wait until Jaune gets absorbed in his thoughts and surprise him during training. Oftentimes she got him to jump from nothing more than asking him about the weather. That one annoyed him.

"Ugh. Yang, I was training! What if I hurt you!" Jaune pouted as he calmed his heart and put away his sword.

Yang kept uproariously laughing, between breaths she squeaked out, "The day you… snrk hit me is the day you become a Hashira!" She fell over on the floor.

Jaune rolled his eyes at the usual response. He turned away without a word and started making his way to the house. Leaving Yang laughing in the middle of the training yard. After another ten seconds she got herself together enough to catch up with Jaune and stopped him.

"Okay okay! I'm done now! But I have important news!" Yang said, still with that shit eating grin on her face.

Jaune huffed, he crossed his arms and raised his brow, waiting on her to continue.

"Tomorrow we will not be sparing, but! We start you on your breathing training! I won't be teaching you any Flame techniques yet, just getting your lungs and diaphragm prepared for the different techniques. I'll tell you the rest of the details tomorrow! For now we eat! Senjuro made a new dish! It's called Curry and smells DELICIOUS!"

Jaune rolled his eyes, but couldn't stop the smile on his face. Her mannerisms were just too cute sometimes. Jaune laughed with a light blush on his face and stepped in front of her.

"Then what are you waiting for? I wanna try it!"

Entering the house proper, they enjoyed a fun conversation while Senjuro finished the meal. Mitsuri joined them just before dinner. Both she and Yang laughed at Jaune's face, it seemed Jaune couldn't handle his spices. He did have a fun conversation with Senjuro about how he prepared it and what spices he used. Jaune did enjoy cooking after all, and it could not hurt to get a few new recipes under his belt.

"You want me to do what?!" Jaune looked on in disbelief.

"You heard me! Take a deep breath, channel your power, and blow apart the Gourd!"

Yang was serious. She really wanted him to break a Gourd with nothing but his breath.

"Okay, and why would this help me swing a sword better?" Jaune was honestly confused. He knew lifting would increase strength. He knew running more would increase his stamina and speed. But he didn't understand how breathing harder would help him defeat demons.

Yang rolled her eyes, "The breathing styles aren't named that to be funny. By using Total Concentration Breathing you can access strength even greater than demons! All Slayers utilize it to increase their speed, power, and it is the first step to using any Breathing Styles! When you use it your blood vessels expand, releasing more oxygen throughout your muscles! Your body temperature will increase, and you'll feel your body sing with power! It's difficult to do so, but once you can access Total Concentration Breathing we will work on being able to use it all day!"

"Okay… and why the Gourd?"

"Tradition!"

"Ugh fine okay, how do I Breathe right?"

"You must clench with your core and breathe in heavily! Feel the air as it circulates throughout your chest, the way it dissipates throughout your body, how it latches onto each cell, and then breathe out! It helps to meditate with it!"

Jaune looked thoughtful, "I think I understand what you're saying. I do similar exercises to better allow Aura flow. Ren taught me a little about it."

Yang gave a thumbs up and a grin, "Oh and don't mess up! Otherwise your blood vessels could rupture, leading to an aneurysm and death!"

Jaune stared blankly at her. Yang just kept grinning back. Jaune shook his head and focused within himself. He first tried to just breathe deep while feeling his chest move. After a few minutes he sat on the ground and meditated, trying to direct his focus on more than his lung movement. A few more minutes passed and Jaune was getting frustrated and light headed. Opening his eyes, he spotted Yang. She was sitting a meter in front of him. She looked completely relaxed, yet her breathing was not calm. It thundered through her nose, rattled in her lungs, and blew out her lips in a wave. Jaune could feel the air move his hair and shift his clothing, even as far away as he was.

He yet again, tried to focus and breathe more deeply and strongly. All he got was a sore throat and a coughing fit.

"This is hard! I can't focus on it the same as my Aura! My Aura naturally wants to protect me, it sets just below my skin and I feel it come to the fore! All I'm doing is breathing a little harder and trying to make my body do something with it!" Jaune huffed, his frustrations rising to the surface.

Yang laughed and cracked an eye open, "It certainly is hard isn't it! I was hoping it would come more naturally to you, but I guess it is just too different. Oh well the traditional way it is!"

Yang stood and lightly stretched her back. She walked over to a rack of swords and grabbed one of them. Jaune got to his feet and started loosening his joints, expecting a sparring session.

Instead Yang took a stance and motioned for him to throw a strike.

"Uhh shouldn't I get a sword?"

"Nope, it's Flame tradition that you fight with your fists! Do not use your Aura! Strike at me with everything you have and keep going past even that! I expect you to continue even when you are bleeding and have broken bones! Try to concentrate on your breathing!"

With that Yang lunged at him. She held nothing back, and each strike was designed to disable. Jaune was barely able to avoid a broken wrist with a yelp and a quick dodge to the side. He tried to focus, but with each strike coming too close and too strong he could barely calm his mind. He spent the entire spar on the defensive. Dodging blows when he could, blocking them when dodging wasn't possible. And after a few minutes of the brutal back and forth, Jaune could feel the breath leaving was a little different. That could've been the wooden sword tip in his stomach, but it was hard to tell.

Yang backed off almost long enough for him to gain his breath back. Key word being almost. Right as Jaune was about to relax, he was suddenly taking a wooden smack to the arm. Aura rose to the fore and Yang huffed and crossed her arms.

"Shield boyyyy! What did I say!" Jaune sighed, both at letting his lapse with his Aura and at the feeling of relief flowing through him. In the few seconds it took Jaune to get his Aura under control, it had already fully healed him.

Guess the training at the base has been making my Aura more healing inclined

Jaune didn't mind that one bit, his Aura had helped him save many Slayers at that house after all. He looked at his teacher and tried to form a response, but she cut him off.

"No it's fine, this might work better. Jaune, I want you to bring your Aura to the front." She walked off and came back with an actual sword! "I'm gonna beat it off of ya!"

Jaune yelped and raised his arms. He coated all of himself in as thick an Aura as he possibly could. He knew full well she could swing that blade through stone! Jaune closed his eyes, and opened them fully when a flash of light went off in front of his eyelids and Yang squawked.

Peeking open his eyes, the blonde saw his Aura glowing a bright white. Looking at his glowing limbs closely, he lost a bit of his control over his Aura. The white color faded back to his bright yellow, then sunk under his skin. Glancing up at Yang, he widened his eyes when she was lightly bleeding from a cut under her eye shattered blade held in her hand. Well the hilt was in her hand. The shattered blade was all over the place.

"What the hell was that! When I hit you, you glowed bright as shit! The training blade just shattered! And it bounced my wrist back! Was that just your Aura?" Yang looked slightly shocked at her shattered blade, then intrigued at the new development.

"Uhh I dunno? I just kinda brought my Aura all the way out? You kinda frightened me, and I accidentally put too much Aura into it." Jaune paused, he regarded his Aura level and his eyes widened. "I used ten percent in that! What the hell?!"

Yang just walked over, grabbed another blade and came back. "You can work on that later, I have a patrol tomorrow so I'd like to get you to the point where you can focus on Breathing yourself!"

Jaune yelped, again, and threw up his Aura. This time he made sure to not throw too much into his defense. After a few minutes, Yang stopped when Jaune told her his Aura was too low. She passed him the blade and let him chip away at his Aura carefully. It gave a weak shimmer and dissipated. Jaune stumbled and shook his head. He tossed the sword away and put up his hands.

"Okay, let's do this." Jaune grinned weakly at her.

Yang paused, her grin was a little more shaky. Jaune's Aura always seemed impenetrable during training, yet she broke it within five minutes. She shook her head and raised the training sword. "Remember to Breathe!" she crooned out before swinging again.

The day passed, blood lightly staining the wooden sword. Pain breathes left the boy, but not once was he able to call forth the Breathing he wanted.

Jaune lightly scratched the healed scabs off of his skin. His Aura had long since healed the skin underneath, but the scabs would stick until they were rubbed away. The displaced teen leaned back, silently observing the moon. Fireflies had started coming out with summer being just around the corner. The blonde had started breathing training almost a month ago, and yet he felt no closer to reaching the basic technique every Demon Slayer used.

Letting his frustrations show, Jaune huffed and thumped the wooden bark at his back. How am I to become a real Demon Slayer, if I can't even Breathe properly. Jaune huffed again, considering yelling his frustrations to the moon when footsteps approached him.

Looking over his shoulder he spotted the form of the former Flame Hashira, and current patriarch of the Rengoku household, Shinjuro Rengoku. Shinjuro didn't say anything to the teen, he just walked to a nearby seat and looked at the moon. Jaune shrugged, the rarely seen patriarch had ventured out of his room every now and again. Typically for laundry or food, but he had made a token effort to be cordial with the Hunter in training when he saw him just never more than that.

He looked like what Jaune imagined Yang would look like if she was a man. Only more unkempt, light stubble graced his chin in patches, his hair was unwashed, and his face was gaunt. The waft of wine coming from him was lighter than usual.

Shinjuro sighed. "Boy, do you know why I came out here?" Jaune blinked at the tone, he lightly shrugged.

"I figured it was to admire nature, that or clear your nose from the booze." A little cattish? Sure, but the man had pretty much made Yang raise her little brother. Seems all the Yangs naturally fall into mothership positions when needed.

Shinjuro barked out some laughter and turned to the teen, "You got some spirit boy, but I'd put you down quicker than you could move. Learn some respect or I might just take back my advice."

Jaune whipped his head towards Shinjuro, "About Breathing right? Do you have anything to make using it easier?"

Shinjuro raised an eyebrow, and Jaune sighed. "Sir, can you please help me."

He grunted, "Good enough. Meet me in the yard tomorrow at sunrise. I know you're heading to the mountain tomorrow, but that can wait."

With that piece said, the former Hashira left. Jaune wanted to ask why he even wanted to help, but he decided not to. It might be best to wait, he didn't want to squander this chance. Instead, the teen turned back to the night sky and regarded it for a moment longer. Getting up and stretching his back, Jaune left. He went to bed that night smiling and with hope in his soul.

Jaune made it to the training yard just in time. Shinjuro was lighting a fire. He was wearing a clean slayer uniform. His uniform stopped higher up his wrists, and his legs were covered by a similar style of wrapping to his daughter. Stepping back from the lightly crackling flames, the Rengoku patriarch beckoned Jaune forward.

"My daughter is many things. But one thing she is not is a natural talent. Nothing about being a Demon Slayer came easy to her. She struggled just as you did, she only got through and learned how to Breathe as well as she does because she had a decent teacher. It's hard to teach that which you yourself barely understand, and had to struggle day after day for."

Shinjuro pointed at the fire, "This is fire. It burns through everything in its way. Do you know how it does such a thing, Jaune?"

"Uhh, it pulls oxygen from the air for fuel?"

"Partially right." He pointed to the sticks underneath the fire. "Those are its fuel. Anything can be its fuel. Logs, animals, grass, humans, the fire cares not for its fuel. It just burns and burns. Unknowing that by continuing to live it ends up destroying the one thing keeping it alive." He turned to the blonde Hunter in training.

"We are the fire, Jaune. We burn bright and painfully short. Just by existing we use up our fuel. The difference between us and fire, is we can choose how much fuel we burn. The fire burns at a constant. We add the accelerant to it." He poured a jug of alcohol on the flame, it merrily burned higher.

"We burn ourselves bright, until we finally end. Not with a bang, or a whisper. But we end with nothing. There is nothing we can leave the world behind us that would have been more meaningful than if we still lived." A tear slid down his cheek as he stared at the fire. Lost in a moment far away from here.

"If you want to Breathe, stop trying to force it." He clapped his hands and peeked into the jug. "That's all I can tell you, the rest is for you to figure out yourself."

The fire petered out behind his retreating back. The jug was raised to his lips, before he cursed silently and let it drop. He reached the entrance and turned around to the teen, he jerked his chin once towards the mountain and left.

Jaune stood in the courtyard. The leftover blackened ends and ashes smoking pitifully. The teen looked lost in thought, puzzling over the former Hashira's words. With a small shake of his head the teen set off for the mountain.

Woof, one hell of a chapter. Jaune is starting to settle into his routine of waking up, training, and going to bed. It's peaceful and as a result Jaune is starting to feel relaxed. His friends are all strong enough to take care of themselves and he has a goal. That being the final selection in three months.

What's this, trouble with Jaune learning a new technique? In my fanfiction? Well of course, Aura is always present and always around. He simply grabs that feeling and pulls. Jaune learning breathing techniques would be best compared to you trying to open up your veins by thinking about it. It is possible, monks have actually been able to control the temperature of their arms by constricting and opening the veins and arteries, but you and I do not have the ability to do so. All we would do is try to concentrate on the feelings in our arms and think it's doing something.

The Rengoku family is starting to consider him as one of their own. Yangoku and Mitsuri are taking missions and doing Demon Slayer business. Mitsuri is gone more often than Yangoku because she's only been an official one for a few months now. But during that time she's been busy! Yangoku only seems to have less jobs than her, because her main job is to be seen around and protecting a set area. Can't have the Hashira fighting every random small fry that comes along.

I know this chapter is short, Shinjuro's lesson just seemed the perfect leaving off point. That's why I prepared an omake for you all! I wrote it back during chapter two for the purpose of using it when a chapter ends up short. So enjoy!

Omake one: non canonical, Jaune's Demon Slayers!

Jaune had just finished his chant to call forth and awaken Yang's soul. Stepping back, Jaune observed the red outline around Yang. Next time she fought the demon she'd be protected with more than a deep breath.

"Jaune what did you do? I feel invincible! I'm gonna go kill the demon for sure this time!" With that Yang blurred out of existence and the sounds of a demon screaming and pleas for mercy started up. After a few seconds, Yang walked out of a building. Wiping blood off her sword she rejoined their group with a thumbs up.

Jaune smirked, "How'd the fight go, Yang?"

"Ha! That demon looked shocked when I busted through the door! He looked even more shocked when I shrugged off a dozen bullets! Tell me, Jaune, do you feel this powerful all the time?"

He scratched his cheek, "Yeah you always remember your first bullet. Don't let it get to your head though, it's not invincible and won't last forever. Just make sure to keep an eye on your level and practice meditating with your Aura."

"You got it! Any ways you can teach me to use it better?"

"Sure I don't mind teaching you how to sharpen your sword with it or increase your own skills." Jaune remembered the third member of their party, "Oh, Mitsuri! Would you like your Aura unlocked as well?"

Mitsuri was looking between her teacher and the Slayer Corps aspirant in front of her in fear and shock. Jaune had just said a few words and all of the sudden her teacher had glowed red and could block bullets?! What the Fuck?

"Uhh, Mitsuri? You okay there? You're looking a little pale."

"And she's passed out. Welp, mission successful, shall we report to the Master our success, Jaune?

"Sure, Yang. I'm not carrying Mitsuri back to your house though." Jaune turned his head to look at Yang, to ask about renting a cart or staying at a local inn for the night. And sighed at Yang smirking at him, her finger on her nose.

"Guess I am then."

Yang and Jaune had just returned to the Ubuyashiki home with news of their success. The other Hashira looked skeptical that Yang could take bullet shots with no sign of damage, and then they looked positively shocked when Yang had taken a blade to Jaune's neck and shattered the blade in one strike!

"Believe me now?" Seeing five nodding heads in front of him, Jaune then grinned. "Well then, who's next?" Five Hashira, and the Ubuyashiki family head, frantically raised their hands.

After five minutes, six Aura unlockings, and two throat lozenges, Jaune smiled at the softly glowing colors of the group.

"Okay so, Aura will block a certain amount of damage regardless of the source so long as you have it active." A metal chair impacted the back of his head, courtesy of his assistant Yang.

"See, nothing. It will drop with damage taken. Too much and your shield will break. The amount varies from person to person. I have a particularly large pool of Aura, so I can take a lot of damage." Yang then demonstrated this with the result being a few broken katanas, a dozen broken wooden training swords, a dented folding chair, a shattered porcelain toilet, a snapped metal hammer, and a shattered bottle of champagne.

Wiping the alcohol from his eyes, Jaune continued his lecture.

"It can also be applied to objects. With enough focus it can even make your swords sharper and far more durable. However, it doesn't have to be only on your swords." Jaune lifted a softly glowing wine glass up. Yang then swung a sword at the glass, and then almost fell on her ass when her sword bounced back out of her hands and smacked her in the forehead.

"Aura can also be used to increase your physical power. Apply it to your limbs just right and you can swing your sword harder, move faster, and increase your senses to the max." Yang was darting around the courtyard, but once she started glowing red she disappeared. Only reappearing once to punch a training dummy hard enough to turn it into a pile of straw. She then lost control of her speed and ran into and through the wooden wall of the courtyard.

"With enough practice you can even unlock your semblance. Or soul powers unique to you. It can be anything from increased speed, the ability to boost your strength with electricity, or control metal. I've often heard it described as the manifestation of your soul."

Yang then walked back through the hole in the wall, lightly coughing and brushing dust from her shoulders. Jaune nodded at her, and she took a stance. Screaming to the heavens her Aura rippled and she was consumed by flames. When she stopped yelling, her form was gone, replaced by a flaming figure several times taller than her own body. It was a faceless giant made of pure fire, with four arms, each wielding a katana made of flames.

Jaune then clapped his hands, returning his audience's attention to him. "Any questions." All six hands raised. "No? Good. Get to training!"

Ubuyashiki approached Jaune, the teen had just gotten done after his latest training session with the Hashira. It had been a few days since they started and already they had a decent grasp on controlling their Aura. A few were already incorporating their breathing styles with their Aura, with some interesting effects.

"Jaune, if I may bother you with a request?" Jaune raised an eyebrow at the man, he had progressed further than the Hashira with his Aura training. Yet he didn't heal his forehead.

"Sure boss, what's the problem?"

Ubuyashiki smiled pleasantly at the boy and explained his plan. Jaune looked thoughtful for a few minutes. Pacing back and forth as he considered the plan.

"It could work, I'd need a month to get everything set up. Unless." The blonde looked back at the six Hashira training.

"Give me two weeks, and the ability to order those six to do whatever I ask."

Ubuyashiki smiled, "Consider it done."

One month later

Muzan grumbled to himself. Somehow the Slayer's had managed to find the city he was hiding in, and the body he was last inhabiting. That was annoying. They forced him to call several of his lower ranked demons to create a distraction for him. Unfortunately they were taken out too silently for him to figure out any information on the force chasing him.

Muzan sighed and looked at the body he was inhabiting. He was forced to take the body of some homeless man in a back alley to escape detection. It was so mortifying. Looking around the forest path, the elder demon considered his next move.

He hadn't visited Kyoto in the last two hundred years, and the Sakura festival was coming up soon. Perhaps that should be his next base of operations. Sighing yet again, he swiped the kunai headed at the back of his neck out of the air.

Turning around, Muzan was greeted with the sight of eighty Demon Slayers and the six Hashira leading the group. He raised a finely manicured eyebrow at the group.

"You think a measly eighty of your rank and file will be enough to kill me?"

A boy with yellow hair and a while and gold heater shield strode a few steps from the group and regarded Muzan, the blonde looked the first demon from head to toe before nodding to himself.

"Nah, I wanted thirty. Boss thought that these people deserved to get their licks in. Tell me, Muzan, do you know what it means to be jumped?"

Muzan raised an eyebrow, "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

The teen grinned, he lifted two strange metallic objects to the air and some odd music started playing from it. It was full of heavy drum beats and screaming.

"It means put em up, we're jackin your Timbs."

With that declaration made, a wave of bodies, sword swings, elemental attacks, and hand bags smacked Muzan until his regeneration gave out.

Once Jaune saw that Muzan had stopped regenerating he urged the group back.

Muzan groaned on the ground when Kagaya Ubuyashiki strode out of the group, "Come to gloat over my bleeding broken form?" Muzan groaned out.

"Nope, I came to deliver a few words." Ubuyashiki's face was then healed from its curse in a flash of silver light. "Aura is bullshit." He then stabbed a sword into Muzans head. And then each Slayer stepped forward and left their sword in Muzan's body.

Jaune clapped his hands over the bloody mess of swords and spit. Several Slayer's had made their displeasure known with more than a sword point. "Since Tengen landed the last attack, he gets dibbs."

A wave of groans erupted from the group as Tengen strode forward and put Muzan's hat on his head. "I call this!"

Ahahah! God, I had this idea when I was first planning out the second chapter. When I first decided Yang couldn't have an Aura I thought to myself, "But what if she could?" That obviously led to the thought, "Well, the boss guy would then want Jaune to unlock the Aura of every demon slayer he could." And then I got the image of Jaune and co hunting down Muzan and jumping him. Shame I couldn't go into more detail, but there was only so many ways to write "And then X turned his face/arm/body part into a bloody mess"

The music came from Jaune's scroll, in the actual story Jaune's scroll broke in the fight with Cinder. In this omake his scroll survived and he had a speaker in his pocket. It was queued up with an inspiring song when he pulled a "My friends mean too much to for me to die" from his ass, that didn't happen. Instead he pulled up a Doom Eternal song as they beat the shit out of Muzan.
