I am not totally happy with this chapter, I ended up rewriting a good part of it but just couldn't get the flow right. I hope y'all still enjoy though!
Review time!
Outliner: I'll try that out, thank you for the advice!
Iwr1918: Thank you, I'll try that once I reach the next world!
Jt: You are 100% right! I likened the Breathing Techniques to entering a meditative fighting style, one where you have control over more parts of the body than normal. Damn, you are right again, Samurai Jack is really similar! I might have to rewatch some of it for some ideas. ;)
KorevainsoLightsire: Glad you caught that! This Jaune has yet to measure his words and be more than just a swordsman. Jaune still needs to learn to keep his foot from his mouth.
"Hey, Jaune! Get over here!" Jaune paused his swinging at a training dummy and approached Yang.
Yang had just returned from another Hashira meeting, this time was another introduction for a new Hashira. Yang seemed excited, if a little hungover.
"Hey, Yang. How'd it go?"
"Well, his name is Muichiro Tokito! He's thirteen and has been a Demon Slayer for only two months! He even invented his own style! He calls it Mist Breathing! Doesn't that sound so cool!" Yang was certainly happy, but Jaune felt more than a little curious.
"Does that happen often? People making their own Breathing Styles? I feel like there really should be more than a few, but you've only told me of seven?"
"Hmm, how should I put this. The Breathing Styles we know of today are just a way to bring forth the power of our bodies. Many Styles share similar strikes or ways to move the body, but can be adapted into your own individual Style. For instance, the First Strike: Unknowing Flame requires a great burst of speed, followed by putting all of your power into a singular slash! It's meant as a way to close the distance and put your opponent on the back foot." Yang had started pacing in her 'teacher' mode.
"Many people find that the style they've been taught is not compatible with their body, as such they make up their own style. Like the Sound Hashira, it's an offshoot of Thunder Breathing, but with a focus on strength over speed. He doesn't move his body as fast as a Thunder user would, instead he utilizes bombs to disrupt his opponets movements and combines that with fast unpredictable effects." Yang looked towards her student purposefully.
Jaune snapped his finger and looked towards Yang with a revelation in his eyes, "The Sound Hashira is the one with the nunchuck swords!" He knew he remembered the guy but couldn't quite imagine his face.
Yang groaned and reached for a training sword. "Were you even listening to me? Do I need to beat the information into you?" She raised the training sword on instinct, ready to disperse knowledge.
Jaune frantically shook his head, "Nope got it! Styles can change for the user!"
Yang squinted at him and slowly lowered the sword, "Then what was the style I said Sound Breathing came from?"
"Uhhh Wind?"
Yang raised the sword to dispense pain and a lesson, Jaune took off in the other direction. Yang naturally chased him, screaming about beating him until he could remember the exact grain of the training sword by touch.
This is the scene the six guests arrived at, a red faced Flame Hashira chasing a blonde teen lightly flashing yellow everytime an attack connected. Yang screaming about her teachings being very important while Jaune screamed back apologies.
Suddenly Sanemi sprinted forward from the group of Hashira with a yell of, "I want to fight him too!"
Jaune screamed louder, "It's the even crazier Nora! I don't want to fight you, you damn weirdo!"
Giyu was pinching the bridge of his nose, Gyomei was crying about the energy of the youth, Shinobu was laughing openly, Tengen was yelling encouragement to both sides to be even flashier, the new Hashira was silently observing the events playing out in front of him. Muichiro then turned to Giyu and pulled on his sleeve.
"Are all Demon Slayers like this?"
Giyu sighed, "Unfortunately."
The trio running around calmed down and joined the group of Hashira in front of the Rengoku family home. They were all sitting on the porch in front of the house and talking about various training regimens with the new Hashira. Apparently it was customary for the various Hashira to meet and help the others improve. Typically it was done one at a time and the newest would instead head to the various Hashira's training grounds.
Two things changed this. The first, Muichiro had been a demon slayer for such a short amount of time that they figured finding his actual skills and improving them would be quicker with them all together. Typically it took six months to a year for one to grow into the position of Hashira, if they ever did. But Muchiro skills and the ease at which he passed the Final Selection fast tracked him into the position, the second person of this generation to do it that fast! The other was Gyomei.
The second reason was because of the dimension traveling teen. Ubuyashiki decided the real information of Jaune's origins were best kept to the Hashira. To the rest of the Corps he was a foreigner with a different type of ability. His people healed instead of using Breathing Styles to fight. A simple excuse, but not an unbelievable one.
Muichiro was, understandably, skeptical.
"I don't see how that is possible. Are you sure you aren't insane?"
Jaune wanted to be mad at his question. But the boy was so blank faced and asked the question so matter of factly that Jaune couldn't find any anger to respond with.
"I don't believe I'm insane. If you like you can test my aura yourself. I'll let you strike anywhere on my body. Please don't aim for anywhere sensitive though, I still feel pain."
As soon as Jaune finished speaking, Muichiro was on the blonde. Jaune widened his eyes and pushed his aura to the fore. He barely got his aura between himself and the lightning fast blade swinging for the side of his neck.
Muichiro's katana hit Jaunes neck, and instead of bouncing off, his sword forced Jaune to take a step to the side to maintain his balance.
Holy shit! This kid is strong as fuck. Are we sure he's really thirteen and not a short bodybuilder? His clothes are baggy enough to hide it. Jaune thought to himself.
Jaune rubbed the side of neck as he stepped away from the blade and regarded the boy closer. He was rather short, about Shinobu's height, if a bit shorter. His hair is long, reaching about mid back and faded from black to a mint green at the ends. His eyes were the same mint green as his hair, and set in a young boyish face. His outfit was rather simple, same as the other bodysuits but with longer baggier sleeves and legs. And the katana being sheathed was a light blue in color, almost white.
The Mist Hashira spoke, "To tell you the truth, I knew you were different. I can sense the aura of humans and demons and can separate them easily. But your aura is strange. It fluctuates rapidly and lights up in my senses more than any other. I knew you were different but could not confirm you were not a demon. Actually blocking a Nichirin blade is enough for me."
Muichiro stepped closer to the teen and bowed minutely, "I hope your healing skills will be enough to save my life should I need it."
With his piece said, the Mist Hashira walked away and sat next to the rest of the group. Most were staring at Jaune intensively, for many this was their first time seeing the blonde use his aura in a defensive manner. Sanemi in particular seemed more like if he couldn't fight the teen soon enough that he might just explode. Muichiro then cleared his throat and inclined his head in Yang's direction.
"You have a useful Tsuguko, please ensure he lives to heal the rest of the Corps."
Shinobu then turned towards Yang, "Oh! I didn't realize you had already claimed him as your Tsuguko! So afraid of someone stealing him from you?" She wiggled her eyebrows at Yang.
"He hasn't even passed the Final Selection yet! I can't claim him as my Tsuguko until then! I haven't even spoken to him about it!" Yang laughed, completely missing the subtext.
At her declaration the heads swiveled back at him for a different reason, they looked hungry. Jaune gulped and figured he'd ask the unspoken question.
"W-what's a Tsuguko?"
Yang stood and approached the teen, "A Tsuguko is the second highest rank a Demon Slayer can obtain! It means a Hashira has noticed your skill and wants to personally teach you to prepare you to become a Hashira! It awards certain freedoms that even a Kinoe doesn't have! You can request various Corps members to assist you, freely meet with the other Hashira, and you won't have to take as many missions! Your main mission will be to accompany me on my missions and learn from me! We will talk more once you pass your Final Selection! Speaking of, how's your Breathing going?"
Jaune sighed dejectedly, "Not great. I can start Breathing every so often, but I can't hold it for more than a few seconds. Which sucks! I know I can do it now, but why is it so hard to grasp!"
Muichiro spoke up, "It is simple, you believe you deserve to Breathe simply because you trained it. Just let it happen, forcing it just makes it slip away."
The other Hashira gave him a look as he just calmly sipped his tea. Jaune looked thoughtful and tried Breathing yet again, this time relaxing and letting it happen. After thirty seconds Jaune felt it take hold. Pushing the excitement deep within his chest, Jaune tried to maintain his calm and let it take over. Jaune just focused on Breathing in and out, letting his body circulate it correctly for him. Just taking note of the processes. After nearly a full minute of Breathing, Jaune dropped it. His body immediately protested, and aura flooded his capillaries to heal the miniscule amount of damage to them.
He jumped towards Yang and hugged her, "I did it, Yang! I Breathed!" He then lifted Muichiro and hugged him too. "And thank you, Muichiro! How did you know that's what was missing?"
Muichiro looked towards the spilled tea with a blank gaze, "I had just started Breathing two months ago, I remember the processes and struggles more clearly than the other Hashira who have been using it for years."
Jaune dropped the boy and shrugged, "I guess that makes sense." The blonde then gasped and whirled to a wildly smiling Yang. "Can I start learning Flame Breathing now?"
Yang laughed boisterously, "We will start Flame Techniques next week, first we have to get you used to Breathing for extended periods of time!"
Jaune laughed in glee and jumped around, clearly excited for finally moving on from the basics. "Yes ma'am," he saluted, "I will get right on training!"
The Hunter in training then dropped to a meditative stance and started practicing his Breathing. He did not want to be behind the rest of his peers. The Final Selection was approaching, just a month or so away. And Jaune was looking forward to actually passing an initiation on his own merits.
The Hashira continued their talk, going over the various responsibilities and such with the Mist Hashira. Eventually they all split with their various goodbyes. Jaune was still deep into meditation by this point.
The damage caused by his Breathing was offset by the natural healing of his aura, but Jaune was considering finishing up for the day. He managed to hold his Breathing for almost ten minutes and was proud of the fact. His twenty percent aura wasn't as proud. The teen nodded to himself and stood, letting out a sigh of relief. Holding his Breathing was pretty taxing on more than just the body and his mind was feeling pretty tired right now.
Jaune entered the house and gave Yang and Senjuro a wave goodnight, he was feeling more tired than hungry. He knew he should eat, tomorrow he was headed back to the mountain, but his bed was just too compelling to refuse. Laying in bed, Jaune thought back on his time here.
He might not have done a lot so far, just helped slay a single demon and heal people who were not in any real danger of dying, but he felt proud of his personal progress. He felt stronger by the day, he had made friends with an eccentric group of friends, and he was getting a real chance to set out and accomplish his goals! Much earlier than Beacon would have afforded him to boot!
Jaune felt the warm glow of accomplishment suffuse his chest. With a smile on his face and hope in his mind, the dimension hopping teen dreamt of saving the masses, having fun with his friends, and most of all, of running next to fiery yellow hair, smiling the entire time.
Yang grinned down at the boy in front of her, she pulled over a rock so she could stand taller than him for once, and laughed as she delivered her speech. "You have done amazing, Jaune! You have trained your body for any situation, honed your mind sharper than your sword, and shown the true strength residing in your soul! This is your final test! Last night I set several flags around various obstacles, your goal is to dodge, attack, and reach the bottom of the mountain as fast as possible!"
"The objects you will be cutting have been marked with a red flag showing the Rengoku house seal! The white ones are civilians! Cut any of those and you instantly fail! Leave any object uncut and you lose! They must all be sliced through in an even stroke! If you don't reach the bottom quick enough you will fail! I will be following you the entire way down, so do your best to impress me with your progress! If you pass!" She gave Jaune two huge thumbs up and flashed him the toothiest grin, "Then I will give you my full recommendations to participate in the Final Selection!"
She then hopped off her rock and walked up to the Hunter in training, "Do you accept these terms, Jaune Arc!"
Jaune flashed her a determined grin and nodded. Yang nodded back, grin still in place. "Then it is settled! Your time. Starts. Now!"
Jaune allowed himself one breath to calm his nerves, with the next one he started his Breathing. Before the third could pass his lips he was off. He immediately sprinted for the first flag, that being a training dummy from the yard.
One slice without even a look back was all it took to topple its head from its shoulders. Sprinting down the hill full tilt Jaune carefully surveyed his surroundings. There, twenty meters ahead, three rolled tatami mats surrounded a training dummy. The mats all had a red flag and the dummy a white. Jaune ran a step behind the mat to the right, before twisting on his heel and swiping up through the mat. His slice was as clean as his follow up to the middle one. He brought the second mat down just as quickly as the first. The third was an easy slice through its "neck" as well.
The blonde instantly crouched and shot off for his next target. Another few seconds pass until the third obstacle appears. It was the exact opposite of the last, three mats with a white flag around a dummy with a red flag. Jaune ran straight for the dummy, he crouched just before reaching it and sliced through its neck. He then jumped over the rolling head and unicked mats.
The process of Jaunes penultimate test continued in such a way. He would run into a new objective every thirty seconds or so, eliminate the enemy, and continue onward. Until he hit the last test. Rather than it being a test of his precision or ability to quickly identify threats this one was a simple test.
A giant tree stood just before the end of the mountain. It was easily wider than the katana Jaune was wielding, thicker than Jaune could even wrap his arms around. Yet the red flag waved lazily from it. Coming to the tree, the teen stopped his running. This was his final test. And so Jaune paused. He knew he could cut through it easily enough if he used his aura and ran around it. But that felt like cheating. This was a test of his ability as a Demon Slayer. As such Jaune paused and took a deep breath.
"Third form: Blazing Universe." Jaune intoned as he swung. Blazing Universe was designed to be used as a heavy downward slice, emboldened with fire to make the swing as powerful as possible. But Jaune learned something important when he first started using Flame Breathing.
He couldn't conjure forth fire. Sure he could swing and call forth the name, but all he would do is embarrass himself as he swung normally. Instead after practicing for two weeks, Jaune discovered something. The Breathing Forms were a way to express the power residing within their soul, a different more focused way to exude their will upon the world. And well.
His sword swung through the tree, and instead of fire erupting in the blade's path, a glowing trail of pure white aura followed it. He was not using his aura consciously, but by using Flame Breathing his aura responded in a way Jaune couldn't control in his usual ways.
Jaune's sword finished passing through the bark. He stopped the blade outside of the tree and sheathed it. The trunk in front of Jaune groaned and cracked dangerously. The teen walked away as the tree finally gave into gravity and fell onto the ground. Jaune smirked as he realized he had done it. He could finally take the Final Selection!
The tree still groaning behind him had Jaune look back. His eyes widened considerably as he started sprinting down the hill. The tree fell the wrong way! Jaune yelped as he tried to outpace the tree chasing him down the mountain. Then Jaune sighed and face palmed as he realized what he was doing. He then slowed down and jumped over the log.
It passed underneath him and slammed into a few trees at the bottom. Jaune ignored his embarrassment as he jogged over to where Yang was waiting.
"Time, Shield-boy. Good job!" She jumped over and gave Jaune a bone crushing hug. "I think that's one of the fastest times we have had! You've learned so much! I am extraordinarily proud! Just after six months and you're already a Demon Slayer!" She laughed heartily, lost in her own joy and excitement.
Jaune couldn't stop the laugh from bubbling up his own throat. "Well it's nothing unheard of, Mitsuri did the same. I think you are just a wonderful teacher!"
Yang looked Jaune in the eyes, her words dying on the tip of her tongue. Too close! She let go of the blonde boy and stepped back. Clearing her throat she spoke up, the slightest tinge of red on her cheeks. "Well of course! Flame Breathing is the best of them all! But also take pride in yourself, you have worked hard, harder than most, to get to where you are today!"
Jaune chuckled and rubbed the back of his head, "Thanks, Yang. I'll remember that, when is the Final Selection? And where is it?"
"Well it's a two to three day walk to where they are currently holding it. The Ubuyashiki family holds it in four different parts twice a year. Once during the middle of the Spring months, and during the beginning of Fall. Since you arrived here just after the Spring you'll be headed to Mount Fujikasane. There you will stay for seven days and seven nights on the mountain. Once you pass, you'll select a Nichirin ore and get a uniform. Head back here afterwards. You won't go out slaying until a blacksmith finishes your sword."
"Once you get back, we're gonna throw a huge party! And if you wish I can name you as my Tsuguko!" Yang cheered as she threw her arms into the air.
"But can I pass? I don't have Breathing one hundred percent down. Will I even be able to pass by only being able to Breathe for thirty minutes?" Jaune was hesitant, although his Breathing had progressed a fair amount in a short amount of time, he was still nowhere near able to hold it for a full day. And enough of a shock to him would snap the teen out of it.
Yang laughed in response, "Oh course you will, Shield-boy! If anything you'll end up making over half the aspirants pass as well! Try to not coddle them however, if they can't pass the Final Selection on their own merits, then you will just be sending them to their deaths out in the field. Save them if they need it, but make it obvious to them that they are too weak to actually fight!"
"I- I'll do my best to keep them safe." Jaune closed his eyes in thought. Could he really tell them that they didn't possess the ability to actually fight? Is that something he could realistically do? Or would his heart ache at the sight and urge them on to their death.
Jaune shook his head and ignored the feeling in his gut, "When should I set out for the test?"
Yang looked at the sky in thought, she tapped her chin a few times before she smirked and held out a finger. "Oh, about yesterday! I wanted to supervise your final test before I sent you off to the mountain!"
Jaune yelled out obscenities as he started sprinting to the Rengoku house. "Why the fuck didn't you tell me! God damn it! I don't want to be late!"
Yang clutched her stomach laughing at the teen as he sprinted off. His reactions were just too cute sometimes. She'd let him get worked up a bit more before she actually told him it was a week out.
Consider it revenge for beating my own time. She looked back at his path down the mountain, eyes softening. He really did impress me, I'll have to make sure he gets just as good a reward as what I gave Kanroji for passing her own test.
Yang chuckled to herself as she lightly jogged home, ideas flashing through her mind.
Oh wow! The mountains are so pretty! The path up the mountain was picturesque. Stone steps led through several torii gates, hanging between each leg of the red gates were several slips of decorative paper. Surrounding the steps were thousands of softly glowing Wisteria flowers. Aren't they out of season?
Reaching a plateau, the young girl took a look around. There were about fifty aspirants looking several shades of nervous. Very few looked calm and even less looked eager, those few stood out to her. First there was a boy around her age with short choppy yellow hair, he looked steely eyed at the forest around them. A slightly older boy with black hair cut in a mohawk and several face scars looked as determined. Off to the side a girl with short black hair and a butterfly pin in her hair was looking almost tranquil, a butterfly fluttering around her landing ever so often. The only egear one was an older teen. He appeared to be a foreigner, he had dark blue eyes and golden blonde hair. He was smiling to everyone around him and politely making conversation as he wandered the group. But she could see the tension coiling around him like a spring. His hand never once left his katana even when he spotted her and wandered over with a lazy grin.
His voice came out calm and higher than she would have expected, "Hi there, my name is Jaune! I don't suppose you know anything about when the test should start?"
She half bowed, standing straight she regarded him with a warm smile, "Hi there! My name is Tanjiro Kamado! But everyone just calls me 'Rose' because of my scar." She pointed at the burn mark on her forehead. "And unfortunately not, I wasn't told a whole lot about the Final Selection!"
After she finished talking, two young children walked forward and bowed to the group. "Greetings everyone. Thank you for all gathering tonight for the Final Selection. This mountain holds demons that various Demon Slayers have gathered and brought here for this test."
The other child continued without missing a beat, "Demons hate Wisteria flowers, which bloom here year round. However, the flowers only continue halfway up the mountain."
The other spoke again, "Halfway up the flowers no longer bloom and demons roam free. You must survive up there for seven nights and seven days."
"If you do then you will have passed."
The blonde man next to her raised his hand, "So how will we be reaching the top? Just walking?"
The children blinked at Jaune. "Oh father told us about you. Yes you will be walking, and try to not clear the mountain as fast as you could. We would like to accurately test everyone here after all."
Jaune chuckled and rubbed the back of his head, a light blush painted across his cheeks. "You got it, I'll take it easy." To himself he whispered, "well, at least I won't be launched off a cliff into a forest this time." He chuckled to himself as if it was an in-joke only he knew.
Tanjiro, however, was speechless. This teen was being told to take it easy? And he had been thrown off a cliff for what?! Training?!
The black haired kid with the mohawk whirled around with a snarl on his face, "Take this fucking seriously. Our lives are at risk here dumbass."
Jaune just smiled serenely at the boy. "Don't worry, I'll do my best to make sure you all survive this." He offered a thumbs up at the crowd.
This only made mohawk even angier. She could see a vein pulse on his forehead and he turned back to the forest.
One of the children spoke up again, "If that's everything then you may go."
Everyone started up the mountain, several sprinting ahead. She saw the angry one amongst them, and she herself wanted to join them. Before then, she turned to the foreigner next to her ready to ask half a dozen questions.
She cleared her throat to get his attention and started speaking faster than she meant to. "Did you really get thrown off a cliff? You must be really strong to survive that! What's with the extra sheathe at your side? Did you lose your other sword? What did they mean by take it easy? Do you have some sort of plan?"
Jaune chuckled to himself as they continued up the mountain, he thought about how to answer the hyperactive dark haired teen in front of him without giving too much away. "Ummm, yeah. I come from a far off place out west. We have a similar test for our own forces. It's called initiation. They threw us into a forest at the bottom of a cliff. We were told to collect a relic from the other side and return to the top of the cliff to pass."
Tanjiro looked at him with stars in her eyes. "Oh wow! So did your place have demons there too?"
"Ehh, kinda? They don't work the same as your demons. For one, they aren't people. They mostly look like animals, but different. They look like they are made of shadows and bone. Only they don't die in sunlight. They also don't have blood magic. We call them the Grimm."
"Ooh! That sounds scary! I can't imagine what would have happened if demons were out at all times of the day!"
Jaune chuckled, scratching the back of his head. "Well it's not much different actually. We just had to be more careful out on the road and during night time."
Whatever else he was gonna say got cut off by a scream from the forest in front of them. "Careful, Tanjiro. It sounds like our comrades have entered the dangerous parts of the forest. I'm gonna go ahead, they might need help. Happy Hunting, Tanjiro."
Jaune waved at her as he sprinted off. "Uh yeah, bye Jaune." She shook her head lightly, "Gotta be careful. I don't have an uber strong adult nearby. I've been training for this."
She took a sniff, "Blood. I hope everyone is okay." With that final thought she strode forward, hand on her hilt and awareness spread. She would ensure she survived this. Anything less and she would be letting Nezuko down.
Jaune Breathed as he ran around the forest. He knew he heard the sounds of pain and fear ahead, yet now the path seemed eerily quiet. The blooming flowers were a ways away from him now. And yet he hadn't encountered any demons. He found a few other trainees as he ran, but all of them were okay. The few he asked just vaguely pointed off in the same direction he had already been running.
The blonde had already started setting up plans for what he would do when he encountered the injured party. Okay so, any demons I run across I should take out without using my aura. Right now in this place it is a precious resource. Healing anyone is far more important than killing demons. I should also find an easily defensible place so I can heal any injured persons without fear of being taken by surprise by a demon.
Plan set, Jaune nodded to himself. And not a moment too soon. He could hear strange sounds ahead of him. It couldn't have been any natural wildlife, he didn't believe any existed on this mountain. Loosening his sword, Jaune stepped around a tree, encountering a scene he never would forget.
Ahead of him was a scene straight out of a horror movie. Body parts littered the trees, a half eaten corpse leaned against a tree, guts pulled out and being consumed by a demon in front of him. Two others snacked on various body parts. Jaune saw all of that and felt his Breath stop. Guilt rose from his gut in equal measure with bile. Had he let them die while he was chatting with Tanjiro? He should have rushed ahead, not make conversation with someone who reminded him of his best friend.
One of the demons noticed the teen stop upon just entering the clearing. He chuckled to himself as he dropped the arm and wandered over to the teen. "Look at that, another child, unready to see the true horrors of the world. Hopefully you will scream as much as your friends did. Eating you humans just isn't the same without fear flavoring you." The demon raised a claw, "I'll make sure you don't go to waste!" The demon laughed as he brought his claw down.
He then blinked confused, where did the human go? And why was the ground a lot closer than before.
The demon stopped moving seconds later, his body turning to ash upon the wind. The last image he saw was the ground rolling beneath his eyes. Head turning to see a white glowing blonde cutting the heads off of his demon compatriots.
The last thing Jaune saw were two demons laughing above their meal. The one in front of him taunting him as he moved to kill him. Jaune moved first, easily decapitating the first. Then all Jaune saw was red.
Jaune passes the Flame trial! I figured each school of Breathing would have their own version of Tanjiro slicing the boulder! I really really tried to do something involving fire since Tanjiro cutting the rock in half could at least be tangentially connected to water. Sadly I came up with nothing. But then I remembered that the reason Rengoku has no students besides Mitsuri was because he pushed them all too hard in training. So I figured it would be something really difficult!
Jaune passes, then goes to Initiation two! This time with more on screen death! I figured now would be a good time to see how others from the "Main Cast" perceives Jaune.
Just a side note, Tanjiro is Ruby. Jaune just couldn't see that because it's rather dark out, and assuming someone with the nickname "Rose" is Ruby is kinda out there.
We finally see more of the mental issues Jaune has been pushing to the side flare up! He really should of taken the time to grieve and process his situation., not throw himself into training. Hopefully I set that up well enough.
