Golden light engulfed their vision and before they knew it, the three sidekicks were being spat out in the Relativity room; a place filled with stairs much like the Escher artwork for which it was named. Blinking back the stars with a low groan, Rachel did her best to untangle herself from the archer & the speedster who had dogpiled on top of her and not fall off of the edge of the stairwell. It was only when she glanced upwards that both of her heart soared and her stomach dropped. Standing there, across the way was her beloved mentor bound in ropes…and one of her more notorious wayward siblings, Klarion. Qarf.

"Mr Kent!" Rachel called as she rocked up onto the balls of her feet, hands gripped to the edge of the stairwell as she debated whether or not she should go over there & help.

"Abracadabra!" Wally added, identifying the other charlatan of a mage.

"Well, would you look at that?" Kent grinned mischeviously, a tinge of relief touching his tone. "It's a regular ole family reunion"

"…What?" Wally deadpanned, eyes snapping back & forth between the two.

"Ooh~! Little sister!" Klarion crooned as he danced in place upon spotting the young witch.

"Klarion" Rachel growled, fingers digging into the stairs below her as she leant further out. The last time she had even seen one of her many, many siblings would have been about six months ago, when she & her brother had both been bored and had consequently come across each other. She didn't particularly hold any real ire towards the boy (in fact, he was likely one of the few amongst their siblings that she actually enjoyed being around), but he was the one responsible for holding her mentor captive and whatever kind of…fun that he thought to inflict upon the man in the name of boredom.

"Wait—! You know this creep?" Artemis added, just as confused, but they were both ignored.

"Let's have some fun~! Come play with me!"

"Why would I wanna play with you, brother?" Rachel snarled in retort, lips practically pulled back as she took in the visage of her mentor bound at his feet. She ignored the blatant looks of disbelief on her companions, because if they didn't believe that they were really mages, they were still villains and that was a hard pill for anyone to swallow.

"C'me on!" Klarion whined petulantly, "Play with me! Play with me!"

"No" She stubbornly refused.

"…It's him, isn't it? It's his fault!" The witch-boy kicked at the old man at his feet, practically grinning at the low threatening growl that emanated from his sister at the action. "But if you won't play with me on your own, I guess I'll give you incentive by finishing him off! This bossy bastard won't bedevil you anymore!"

"RAAAAH!" Rachel saw red. Literally. Skin burnt crimson and eyes that doubled to four, all appearing at the drop of a hat as she launched herself forward with immense force (leaving a small crater in her wake) and with fangs outstretched; intent on ripping out the witch boy's jugular.

"Ahahaha~!" Klarion giggled manically as he danced out of the way of his angered sister, arms still clutched tightly to his feline familiar.

Together the two danced, interweaving around one another without any real menace. Sure, Rachel was upset that her brother had decided her mentor was going to be his play toy for the day (or however long he had held him hostage), but bored beings of chaos had done a lot worse for a lot less. Even so, their game of impromptu tag likely involved far blood and violence than any of the others were used to. Especially if Wally's wince as she used to talons to skid across the stairs and jump up with snapping jaws, was anything to go by. Normally, nature dictated that it was the cat who chased the bird, but not today.

As it turned out, Klarion's real reason for coming to the Tower today was not because he wanted to play with Rachel, but more so because he wanted to possess the Helmet of Fate (not that he could wear it, but likely so he could give it to his pet, Savage). There was also likely some childish part of him that thought if he got the Helmet of Fate, they could have more fun like they did a couple of months ago, in Bialya. That had been a fun day, despite all the paperwork afterwards.

In any case, before the young witch could get another hit in, she found herself suddenly yanked backwards as a familiar golden glow enveloped her once again. Stumbling over her own feet, Rachel barely muffled the squawk of surprise as she crashed to a stop in the small elevator that Kent had summoned her into. Struggling in Kent's grip, Rachel tried her best to get free only to find herself stuck fast. Strong arms held her in place as she growled and thrashed, wanting nothing more than to dive out of the moving doors and back towards her brother who had more or less insinuated that he would burn down the Tower in search of the Helmet of Fate. A gentle hand ran soothingly through her hair as her face was smushed up against the silken tie of her mentor's two-piece suit.

"…Hm, oh, I'm Kent Nelson, by the way" Kent introduced himself to the two teens once Rachel had calmed down some and returned the somewhat forced hug.

"No duh" Wally sneered.

"Oi!" Artemis elbowed the speedster in his ribs as Rachel glared at him from under Kent's arm.

"Ow!" Wally hissed in surprise, hand coming up to rub at the spot that would surely bruise.

"I'm Artemis" Artemis turned to the elderly man. "Ms Manners here, is Wally"

"Well, Artemis, we're up against an opponent with tremendous mystic power. Are you up for it?"

"Abracadabra?" Wally scoffed in disbelief, "Tch! Flash proved that he uses futuristic technologies to simulate magic. Guy's all show and no biz"

"Right you are" Kent nodded as Rachel's demonic features receded.

"He is?!" This time it was Artemis who scoffed in disbelief as the speedster crossed his arms and smirked ever so smugly.

"Abra is a charlatan, but Klarion Bleak? The witch boy? The kid with the cat? He's an actual Lord of Chaos, the ultimate enemy to a Lord of Order like Doctor Fate and Rachel's big brother"

"Right…you're a Lord of Order?" Wally drawled, still not believing any word that was coming out of his mouth.

"Grrr!" Rachel growled low in response as her eyes flashed red in warning.

"Easy there, Rachel" Kent soothed, carding wrinkled hands through her loose locks before he turned back to the speedster. "Oh no, not me, per se. I'm just an old coat that Fate used to put on. At least that was until my wife, Insa, convinced me that there could be more to life. Ah…she was a real pistol, that one…"

"Wait, wait, wait—! Back up! Back up!" Artemis interjected, gesturing wildly as the latter half of Kent's sentence seemed to sink in. "Klarion—a Lord of Chaos—is your brother?!"

"Step-brother" Rachel amended. "We don't talk much"

"Same difference" Wally rolled his eyes.

"Does…does that make you a—a Lady of Chaos?" Artemis posited.

"I guess…?" Rachel replied, "I hadn't really thought about it"

"Huh…" Artemis eyed up the young girl who was still clinging to Kent's front, as thoughts of her own villainous sister washed through her mind. Perhaps, these heroes weren't so different afterall.

"That makes so much more sense!" Wally muttered to himself.

"What's that s'posed to mean?" Rachel demanded.

"Uh…!" The speedster floundered for a moment as all expectant eyes turned to him. A phantom tingle wrapped itself around his throat and despite his clear disbelief for magic, he still knew what Rachel—apparently a Lady of Chaos—could do and he didn't particularly want to go through it again.

"Yeah, Wally what is that s'posed to mean?" Artemis agreed as she turned to him with a smirk, likely remembering the same thing.

"N-nothing!"

"Anywho~" Kent chirped as he took in the rather domestic scene with smiling eyes. "Klarion's after the Helmet and if he gets his sticky little mitts on it, he'll turn the planet into his own personal playground of pandemonium"

"Any idea why?" Wally asked, more than happy to redirect the conversation off of him.

"I dunno" Rachel replied before Kent could. "He's probably just bored"

"…Bored?" Artemis asked hesitantly, almost as if she were afraid of the answer.

"Bored creatures of Chaos are dangerous things" Kent explained authoritatively. "The last time these two decided to fix that little problem, they animated the Statue of Lady Liberty & Christ the Redeemer and made them battle each other out in the desert"

"Wait…that was you?!" Wally's eyes exploded wide as he turned to the watch the witch with wary eyes.

"Hehe~!" Rachel giggled childishly as she remembered the day (she had been the one piloting Lady Liberty). "Yeah~! That was fun!"

"Fun?!" Wally grew incensed at her casual nonchalance. Like an international incident was something to sneeze at. "You destroyed two international monuments, wrought immeasurable havoc and put four Leaguers in the hospital!"
"…What's your point?"

"What's my point?!' My point is that it was an international incident! Bialya was calling for blood!"

"Nngh!" Rachel ever so maturely poked her tongue out in response when she couldn't think of a good enough comeback.

"…Y'know, I'm staring to see why Zatara was so against you being here"

"Grr!" Rachel made to threateningly step towards the redhead, only to be held back. Either way, Wally flinched hard into the back corner of the elevator.

"Ah-ah-ah~!" Kent tightened his grip to keep her from launching at the speedster. "Don't listen to that ole bag of bones, Rachel. He's all work and no play"

"I'm not old…!" Wally pouted as he crossed his arms in defiance but he did not move from the corner.

DING!

Stepping out onto the twentieth floor of the Relatively room where one of the bell towers resided. The quartet found themselves faced with a great golden bell, that had been inscribed with several old runes around the base. Rachel (having reluctantly let go of her mentor by this point) recognised some of them as the writings of the sixth dimensional magic from whence both Order and Chaos resigned (her father had been quite insistent that all of his children learnt to read those cursed letters, no matter how incomprehensible they were).

Trotting up the small flight of stairs, they were greeted to the sight of another Forbidden Door which appeared on the overhanging stairwell and tossed out the rest of their Team onto the floor below. Both Conner & Kauldar landed with an almighty huff as the breath was knocked out of either of them; M'gann, however, was much more graceful in her descent thanks to her telekinesis. "Friends of yours?" Kent cocked a brow down at Rachel (despite knowing the answer) as the two teens hurried over to help their friends to their feet.

ZZZT!

"Look out!" Wally cried as he zipped back over to the pair stationed by the bell, just as their adversaries reappeared on a nearby stairwell. Ducking out of the way of Abracadabra's attack, the two mages plus one speedster hurried clambered to their feet. "Friends of yours?"

ZZZT!

"Where's the Helmet, you little brat?!" Klarion cried, growing increasingly annoyed that that object of his desire was still out of reach.

"Nngh!" Rachel stuck out her tongue in response, baiting her witchy brother into chasing after her. While not particularly wanting to play with Klarion, as she had stated before, she also didn't want her friends to get caught up in a game between chaotic siblings. Because if their previous foray with the monuments was anything to go by, then there was going to be causalities if anyone else got involved. Fate might have a chance, being a Lord of Order, but that was about it.

"Oh! You little—!"

"Rae! Is now really the time to be doing that?!" Wally worried, arms still encircled around the old mage's elbow as she baited the witch boy.

"Ah!" Klarion squawked playfully, before he bounced after the girl with a wicked grin plastered across demonic lips.

Rachel, noting her brother's chase, ignored Wally's (understandable) sentiments as she dove straight through the bell and out onto the other side. As both Klarion & Rachel were in an essence sixth dimensional creatures (or at least partially), they were able to pass through the gateway hidden in the bell without much trouble unlike Kent who had to use Fate's conduits, to ask for permission to enter. A sort of sluggish feeling passed over the witch as she passed through the gate and emerged out onto the uppermost level of the Tower, standing amongst the stone turrets and the glistening night sky.

"How about a bet, sister dearest?" Klarion grinned wickedly as he eyed up the golden helmet that hovered behind Rachel. Neither of the chaotic siblings could actually don the artefact which is why Klarion had hauled Abracadabra along for the ride. Not because he needed help getting into the Tower, but because he needed a dummy to wear the Helmet until he could give it to his pet.

"What…kind of bet, brother?" Rachel replied, warily eyeing up his mischievous figure before her.

"If I win, I get the Helmet!"

"And if I win?"

"Hmm…" He stroked his chin in mock-thought, "How about…if you do somehow win, then I'll give you a Golden Sol Sundae!"

Rachel's eyes glistened at the promise of the extravagant ice cream. Her tongue darted out to wet her lips as she thought of the delectable dessert found only in the fourth dimensional town of Limbo, Klarion's hometown. "Deal!"
