A/N: Meh. The format on this one is screwed. I'm sorry. I typed it from a hotel computer that didn't have Microsoft Word.
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. I don't make any profit off my (miserable) fanfics.
Children
They are not children anymore Sakura realizes when she graduates from the acadamy, and it feels like the weight of the world has come crashing down on her shoulders. She sees it in Sasuke's dreams,-there is someone I need to kill-in Naruto's eyes. They are not children anymore, forced to grow up too fast in a world where more spirits break then bend.
There is no going back, but Sakura can pretend that she is normal, can be the only one on her team normal because Sasuke and Naruto aren't strong enough to be normal. She can watch them fight and grow, and if she is never fully in that world well then, maybe that's for the best. She thinks her heart would shatter if she pushed it that far.
She can think all this, and try her best to believe it, but no amount of thinking can take away the blood on her hands.
