All heads turn to the door being slammed open. At the door stood a young man, chest rising rapidly, he ran there, with everything he's got. He look to Cor then to Titus. Cor's eyes widening when he spots what the man is wearing.

Cor keeps his eyes on the man wearing a kingsglaive outfit, though customized with purple ribbons on its back and pelts of blue-grey fur on his left sleeve. He walks forward. Joining Cor and the king. Standing in front of the them his eyes narrow. "What are you doing?" the man asks.

"What are you doing?" Titus asks, though it's sounds threatening with the mask on.

"I'm doing my job, to serve and protect the crown. This is what I signed up for." he answers.

"That's not why I signed up for. Of all the people here you should understand why I'm doing this Nyx." Titus says. Nyx shakes his head.

"I don't."

"You're also from Galahd, how can you not understand? The king left," he says with so much venom it was easy to see how much anger he's been stewing in, "left Niflheim to invade. Didn't try to get it back. You are our king!" he shouts.

"He was able to protect me, saved my life. But he can't protect everyone, he's just one person." Nyx says in defense to the king.

"You don't win every battle Titus, not to win a war." Regis says.

"You never would have won the war! And you never won a battle! City after city, one after one taken into the hands of Niflheim, and you did nothing!" the general shouts.

"Then what are you doing fighting for Niflheim? Shouldn't you be mad at them?" Cor asks.

"The war is over! Galahd was given back." Clarus shouts.

"I don't care who I fight for as long as I gets to kill Regis, and everything he holds dear. It's too late." he says. Nyx pulls his hood on, covering his black hair and blue eyes, his hood having silver horns. He summons a pair of kukris.

"I won't allow that to happen." Nyx declares.

Regis pulls Clarus back, the shield shocked, even more shocked when the king hands over Astrum. "You are no longer my shield, you are his." Regis says low enough for only them to hear. Clarus eyes grow larger. He did not hear that right. "Now go." Regis pushes him to start running. "Run!" Regis shouts. Clarus grits his teeth and starts running.

"After them!" Titus orders, the shield almost to the door. A kingsglaive ran after them. Not making it far when a fellow kingsglaive appears out of nowhere and knocks him back.

"Libertus!" Nyx shouts at his fellow kingsglaive, glad to see him protecting the shield with the child.

"Leave the child alone, he has nothing to do with me." Regis says. Libertus making his way to Nyx side. The general grins not that anyone can see it.

"Oh, really? A little birdy told me you have a grandson. I didn't want to believe it but seeing the child's face I must say, he looks very similar to Noctis." Regis eyes narrow more, impossibly more. "Oh I'm right. Good. I'll send Luche after them."

"So this is where you were, Crowe and Pelna are evacuating the Citadel and the surrounding just in case." Libertus explains hushed so the king and Cor can hear.

"Good call." Cor says nodding at them.

"I'm glad to see you as not one of them. I was worried, didn't know who to trust when I heard about Titus plan." Nyx says, eyes on Titus and his men.

"Eh, we knew you weren't one of them, you always talk about how the king saved your life." Libertus says with a grin on his face, it growing when Nyx gives him a glare.

"We can not let them pass the door." Cor says.

"He will not put a hand on my grandson." Regis adds.

"So he really is your grandson." Nyx says.

"I wouldn't know how to face his mother if she came back and he was harmed." Regis answers.

"It'd be the end of the world." Cor says.

"Then let's get this started." Nyx grins. He throws one of his kukris at one of the kingsglaive, they dodge it but that doesn't matter to Nyx. He warps to where his kukri landed. That causes some confusion, to those who didn't know about his abilities. Libertus turn invisible, silently moving his way to the other side. He can warp too but doesn't like the feeling when he does.

As those two fight the kingsglaive, Cor and Regis stare down at the General. He leading the charge against the Queen of Tenebrae. How many times has he been around Noctis? If he wasn't careful then something could have happened to Noctis and it would have been too late. After this, if he lives, he's going to have to do a full screening on everyone's background. And by everyone he means everyone. The council included.

In one second Cor unsheathed his katana blocking an attack from the general that aimed towards the king. That shakes Regis back to reality. He needs to focus on the now. Cor charges forward. Regis behind him. Dealing a team attack. Though neither of them have ever actually fought the general. Regis has seen him but always retreated. Now he knows the armour is as tough as it looks. Titus attacks back, his summoned sword no longer connected with the Crystal now that's he's attacked them, he doesn't need the connection to the crystal anymore. His suit is more than enough.

Titus attacks the king, then Cor, both blocking the attacks but get knocked back. Cor slides back while Regis gets thrown back into the chairs and large table. He groans as he gets back up, he's got a bad back and old knees. His age catching up to him, but he'll go through this fight, it's the least he can do for Sylva. He knows she fought hard against him while he ran away, if he knew, maybe things would have been different.

Cor and Regis try as many attacks as they they can on him but nothing seems to be working. How did Sylva push him back?
