Her hand brushed up against the wall as she moved down the stairs, a heap of metal under her other arm. This was the third day in a row that she had brought home scrap metal. This only being the first load of many that still lay in the trunk of her car. She was sure if she kept this up the employees of the place would ask her about it.
She hopped off of the bottom stair, walking to the drone which was currently staring at a wall, crippled hands moving across wires, connecting them effortlessly. "Well," it did not flinch as she spoke, "seems like you don't need any help." a smile rested on her face as she made it to the end of the table, setting the chrome heap down. Clanking metal against metal as it continued, a whine of the speakers trying to work. "For now, no. however," it's head turned in her general direction. One hand brought its way up to its face, finger grazing the hollowed out area of the optics. "This," the speaker hissed, "is the next project"
