Since quitting Eric has enlisted Bill to search for Amy. She broke multiple laws, most notably she killed a vampire. She bled Eddie. She's what they call a bleeder. They are people that hunt down vampires, hold them captive for their blood and either keep them as slaves or drain them completely. That's what Denise and Mack Rattray were doing to Bill that first night I met him.

I also found out that the reason why Lafayette was kept instead of just killed wasn't because he was pretty. Eric was searching for a ring. A bleeder ring. Amy was deep in some shit!

The rights of Vampires in the United States are limited. They do have legal citizenship but are currently still fighting for equal rights. In saying that, crimes committed by Vampires or to Vampires are investigated by them. Not humans. Hence my annoyance. I don't know why it never clicked. Bill and I were always together when I worked for Eric.

He still sent me a check this month. I can't stand him and his non-boundary respecting ass.

Anyway, I had no clue that Bill's job wasn't just sitting on his ass. He apparently works for Eric and has this entire time. It's been cutting into our privacy. He has Bill gone all hours of the night. She probably isn't even here anymore. Ughhh!

Speaking of Lafayette, he and his boyfriend have started a side business. They have been doing psychic readings online and have opened up a small shack selling herbs and odd ends. It turns out that Jèsus is a Brujo... a witch. I'm honestly glad, Lafayette truly shines when he is around. Hell, I might stop in and see if he can help me. God knows I need it.

As for Tara. After she kicked my ass, she's been coming around. It's slow but steady. Right now she's been helping her mother for the umpteenth time. Lottie has decided once again to get sober. I hope it lasts, I'm usually the one that cleans up the mess after. Tara loves her mother so much but maybe it's time to love her from a distance.

Speaking of sober. Jason decided to kick V. After the whole debacle with Amy and dealing with Eric breathing down his neck. It seemed to have scared him straight. Right now he's in some treatment center. He found the information and everything himself... Im so proud.

Bon Temps for once seems like everything is starting to come together. Well, except for me that is. To counteract my cravings I've been eating red meat like crazy. I mean bloody steaks. Thick hamburgers and more. It's been hell on my toilet.

I heard a knock on my front door. It was my first day off since coming back from Dallas. I was hoping to be left completely alone. To my surprise, no one was there. I looked around and about tripped over a package sitting on the porch.

I sat down on the steps and opened it. Inside was the most gorgeous dress. It was more modest than I would have liked but gorgeous none the less. A deep forest green, the neckline was off the shoulder. Bundles of rose-shaped ruffles covered the girls. The silhouette trailed down into a mermaid cut with the train brushing the floor. I tried it on and it looked extravagant.

I hadn't noticed the card that fell out onto the floor in my excitement. It was an invitation. I was to show up at the Tuscany restaurant within two hours. As I got dressed the memory of my first date played on repeat.

Just before Jason left for his treatment. He mentioned Bill asked him some questions about jewelry. I've been on my toes since. I wonder if tonight is the night he will pop the question. There's no question of my love, if he asks tonight, I'm saying yes!

On the dot, two hours later another knock rapped on my door. I opened it and was shocked to see it wasn't Bill. But a chauffeur, my ride tonight would be a Rolls-Royce Dawn.

The man led me to the back, opened the door, and waited for me to slide in. My heart was pounding. I made sure to check my make-up and hair during the ride. It was in a sleek high bun. A gem-encrusted pin sat behind it making sure it doesn't droop. Long gold draping earrings fell from my ears. My nose ring now held a gold chain across.

I made sure you could see the vibrant tattoo on my left shoulder. Golden highlight glinted across them too. I went ultra-dramatic, with long lashes and sharply pointed eyeliner. A juicy nude lip. I wore one of the only real pair of designer heels I owned. A pair of Giuseppe Zanotti Cruel wing sandles. I splurged after Gran's death. I got really high one night and went on a shopping spree. Most of it I sent back but these bad boys I couldn't part with.

The parking lot was empty except for Bill's car. Damn, I hope I don't have to pee. I was wearing a thick pair of Spanx underneath and really didn't want to mess with them. My very own red carpet was waiting outside the front door.

As soon as my nails clinked on the handle I began to panic. Was I ready to be engaged? I took a deep breath. Bitch it doesn't matter! You love him and he's got a lot of money, open this door. I opened it to see the entire place empty, with only one table in the room. It was drawn to the center underneath a large chandelier. A bottle of champagne already sitting open waiting to be poured.

I took my seat and waited for Bill to show up. I hadn't expected him to come from the back. He donned a three-piece suit in a marvelous inky black. I hadn't seen him wear this color before but suddenly it's the only one he's allowed to wear. His big blue eyes popped! On top of his shaggy head was a chef's hat. I couldn't help but burst into laughter. Bill managed to clear the building, rent a glamorous car to match my attire. Made sure I felt special with the venue being the one of our first date. And he cooked for me!

"I do so hope that's a good laugh." A large smile worked its way across his face. In his hands held two plates. "This is the first course, Baked Brie topped with figs, berries, and a sprinkle of black pepper. "

Bill placed them on the table. The second plate held a freshly baked baguette drizzled with honey and butter. I almost died and went to heaven as the cheese melted in my mouth. The sweetness of the honey paired well with the tart fruit. The pepper brought out a smokiness to the bread and cheese. Bill's lids dropped with desire.

"I'm sorry, I just really love cheese."

"Yes. I've noticed. I never said anything about it but I've noticed cheese and bread seem to disappear around you. I'm glad you enjoy it. Would you like to taste the next one? Or should I let you marinate, we have all night."

"Really? All night? No running out to help Eric do god knows what?"

"Eric won't be a problem. We found her. It wasn't pretty."

"What happened?" As I listened I munched.

Amy was found in the Bayou. Somebody got to her with a machete. They found pieces of her inside an alligator.

"I'm so thankful he isn't here. "

"Jason? Yes, I was beginning to be worried about you as well. With the liquor and all. You've seemed to slow it down."

"Yeah, it's only cute for so long. The champagne is lovely but I'd much prefer my weed. Keeps me hot and mellow."

Bill held my hand in his rubbing circles on it. I could tell he was getting antsy. I took pleasure out of it for just a moment.

"Alright, I think I'm ready for the next."

He moved the dish around and ran back to the kitchen. While I waited I reached over and took a sip of his True blood. It didn't taste good at all! I tried wiping my mouth without ruining my lipstick. The aftertaste was metallic... makes sense.

My nerves settled down once he came back out with a rather large rack of lamb. Thankfully it was rare. I bit into the meat. It was marbled beautiful and slid off the bone with ease.

"Perfectly tender. What's in the sauce?"

"Blood."

"Excuse me."

"I've noticed your eating habits have changed. You haven't said anything but."

"I'm sorry... I just didn't know how to explain it. It's been happening since Maryann."

"Eric told me. You ate her heart and he mentioned the man that tried to kill you in Dallas was missing an ear. It's ok my love. "

Tears started to form in my eyes. I waved them away and took a deep breath in. So much had happened between us. It's a wonder we even survived it.

"Thanks, you have no clue. Just hearing you say that makes me feel less weird. The meat helps... so does the blood."

"Is it humans you crave?"

"Honestly anything will do. I'm ashamed I let it get so bad. I was in the kitchen wolfing down raw meat on my period. It was horrible."

"Baby, why didn't you say anything?"

"I was scared. I just, it's terrifying Bill. You were already so afraid of me, I didn't want to make it worse."

"I'm not afraid of you."

"You are!"

"Baby, let's not fight tonight. But to clarify, I'm not afraid of you. I'm afraid for you. We still have no idea what you are and now you're going through so much. I just want to keep you safe."

I reached over and grabbed his hand. I devoured the rack of lamb. After I excused myself to go to the bathroom. I wanted to fix my makeup. Just before I stood Bill got up and was on one knee blocking me from leaving the room.

"I wanted to wait until dessert but it's killing me. I mean it. I'm not afraid of you. Sissi Stackhouse, since the day I laid eyes on you I knew.

You had the prettiest smile. Do you know that? You just walked right up to me, even though you knew what I was. You treated me like a person.

Did you know, I hadn't felt that way since I was created? I was a nobody, less than a nobody. A monster. I've done things. Some you know of, others you don't, the point is. My life had no meaning or purpose until you and that pretty smile waltzed in. And then you started changing me.

Making my monstrous ways change. Showing me that there is a better way. I am not afraid of whatever you are. Because to me, you're my angel. Sissi Marie Stackhouse. Would you do me the greatest honor of being my wife?"

The tears openly fell, I'm sure mascara was now running down my face. I don't care how big waterproof is written, it never works.

"Sissi?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I got stuck in my head." Bill laughed and held my hand. I took the box from him and held it up to the light. "Why Bill, Jason taught you well."

"I knew he wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut. I went with him instead of asking Tara."

"Good choice. The whole town would know if you confided in her. Yes, baby, I'd love to be your wife." He lifted me in his arms and spun me.

"Really?"

"Yes. A million times yes." We shared a kiss as he brought my feet down back to the floor. " Now if you'll excuse me. I need to fix my face. I can't take pictures like this"

I heard him laughing as I hightailed it to the ladies' room. Once in the bathroom, I started stripping off clothes. I had to piss so bad! The entire time my eyes were mesmerized by the shine.

A rather large halo cut black diamond surrounded by smaller white and chocolate ones. Set in a rose gold band shaped like vines. It screamed opulence.

I allowed myself to fully enjoy the moment to myself. My life flashed behind my eyes. I never thought that someone could love me like this. In this way I mean. All my lovers before Bill, if they lasted long enough. Grew afraid of me. Out of every horrible thing that has happened Bill has been there at every moment. Even the flesh-eating hasn't turned him away!

"Mrs. Compton "

I tested out the name that would be mine. It felt strange on my lips. When I thought of Mrs. Compton the image of his first life came to mind. I never held jealousy for Caroline. How could I? But I did hold intrigue. I wondered what Bill was like before.

What type of problems did they have? Whether if he had a happy marriage before Lorena. Lorena still made my blood boil when I thought of her. Thankfully her name hasn't come up. If she's smart she won't show her face again.

As I stood up to put my dress back on I began to feel woozy. I tried to steady myself. I hadn't drunk that much! This shouldn't be happening. I tried calling out for Bill but I heard nothing.

I managed to pull the door open. Just as I collapsed I saw Bill being carried out with a sack over his hand. His mouth must be bound. Muffled screams bellowed as he struggled in the silver chains he was wrapped up in. Arms caught me and soon I too was being carried out. The last thing I saw before my eyes closed was Lorena. Of course, it would be her! Am I just cursed?

She smiled down at me. My ring! She had my ring in her hands. She placed it on her bony finger before shutting the lid of the truck I was tossed into. The darkness took hold as the car pulled off into the night. Fuck!
