The moment your stupid ass brother got you on the phone his obnoxious truck dropped out of fucking nowhere. Beautiful you just get more lovely every day. Just in time too. These fucking bitches are getting on my nerves.
"Hold the fucking wheel!"
"Stop yelling at me!"
I will never understand the company you keep. Well, Tara. I understand. She's been holding her own just fine. She's currently hanging out the side of the car pelting werewolves. If I recall. I've seen her before. She was much less clothed. I'd ask if you've tasted but I know better. She's ga ga for this fool. I tore out the side of our rental and climbed onto the roof. I'm coming baby. I leaped car to car until I reached the bright orange eyesore.
Alcide was frightened to see me hanging off the hood. He continued to swerve and dodge the creature attempting to ram into the side. I figured I could help. After taking it out for him he still seemed ungrateful of my presence. I saw why. Bill was frantically trying to wake you. I shattered the window and drug him into the sunlight. I grunted as both my hand and his face began to sizzle under its rays.
"What did you do?!"
"Nice cloak. I don't have one. Let me go!"
We struggled until I was drug inside. The sight of your limp body set fear in my veins. I'm not used to seeing you so weak. So vulnerable. You've always gotta be so tough. I felt Alcide's eyes on me. As much as I'd love to blame him. I know it's this cunts fault. The guilt drips from his pores.
"How long has she been like that?"
"Long enough."
"You got any meat?"
"We tried that already. Blood didn't work."
"You idiot. She needs meat. Something like this!"
I ripped into the side of his neck just as he did you and yanked a chunk out. I happily kissed it into your mouth and massaged it down your throat. There you go, princess. I defended myself against his body blows while you healed. It was slow to happen but the wounds closed and those beautiful eyes opened. Oh, how I've missed you.
"Eric?!"
"I'll be with you in just a second love."
Just then we finally got ran off the road. The crash was violent. Multiple cars piled into rubble. We were flipped over. The sound of your screams echoed as that thing ripped into the truck and drug you out. I coughed on the smoke. Alcide has been quiet. I can still hear a heartbeat. Bill's been catatonic. From the sound of it. Police have arrived and we'll soon be caught. It's broad daylight. Shit!
"Bill. Come on. You gotta wake up!"
No matter how hard I shook him. He just wouldn't wake up. Damn. She must have been mighty jealous. I've heard of his maker. She was known as the catcher.
There was no better than she. Honestly, I'm not even sure she cared if she got paid or not. She probably would have run slaves down for free. Not only them but any outlaw or person with a price on their name. Lorena was on em. She made quite the stink when he left her. Just ran off.
Even his threatening to stake himself wasn't enough to let him go. Once the initial rage settled, his cowardly behavior turned her off. She hadn't even thought of him until you laid your eyes on him. That little flutter show? Only made her want him more. Just to spite you for embarrassing her. I tried to tell you, but no. You must do whatever you please.
I had no choice but to leave them both. It wasn't a choice I made lightly. I do know you care for him. I'll find them. Then come find you. As for your brother and Tara, they've both been told to find a motel and stay there in the occurrence of separation. While I shall wait in a dank trap house basement until the sun goes down. My time in this hellscape of a kingdom is starting to put me at the edge.
Russel Edgington? Really Sissi? Why must you attract every dangerous character in existence? Do you know the type of thing he is? First off. Not only is he obnoxiously psychotic but he's obscenely connected. He's our eldest. At least known anyway. He's needed a stake for a few millennia. We've crossed paths a few times over the years.
Although, I've never had such an encounter like last night. But let's start at the beginning. Just after your friend robbed Bill blind. We hopped back in that unseemly contraption your brother thinks a vehicle is. They started bickering the moment we pulled off. At this point, I hadn't seen the love that she holds for him. He's truly an idiot to waste it.
"I'm hungry."
"Say it one more time Jason."
"You said we would stop for snacks."
"Will you both please shut up?"
"If I may ask. If my sister ain't working for you? Why do you care where she's at?"
"He's in love with her stupid ass."
"Sissi is not stupid nor am I in love with her. She's an asset. One id like to keep. Now shut up!"
"Hmm. Whatever."
"Well, It don't matter cause Sissi is marrying vampire Bill and that's that. Ooo, Maybe we could have a double?"
"What are you talking about Jason?"
"Oh. Here's my new woman. Look."
Jason pulled out his cellphone and then proceeded to stick it in both our faces. It took me a moment to recognize the woman but sure enough. Mrs. Newlin.
"Stackhouse? Pam told me about your unfortunate lack of intelligence but I didn't know it was this devastating. Do you know who this woman is?"
"Uh... alright look, it wasn't like that. She didn't know."
"You don't learn, do you? The last one wasn't enough?"
"Now Tara. You better watch your mouth bout my woman!"
"Jason, what would you like to eat?"
The question brought on confusion.
"Uh."
"Please don't make me repeat myself."
"I ain't got no money."
"He'll take surf and turf."
"Oh really?"
"Yes, and you're paying."
"Why not let Bill pay?"
"Who is Bill?"
"I like you. Surf and turf it is."
"Who said I wanted that?"
"It's steak boy!"
He got quiet and tried to avoid eye contact. Tara correctly surmised he had no idea what 'Surf and Turf', was. You are such a patient soul. If I was a stronger man I'd stay away from you gorgeous. But that I am not. You better be alright!
"Don't love her my ass."
Despite how sour her face looked. I could see the fear in her eyes. I'm not particularly proud of how I managed that situation. These humans. You love them and I hurt you by harming them. I've been conflicted on how to manage my duties as sheriff and my devotion to you. It's irritated Pam to no end. I'll figure it out.
The rest of the drive to New Orleans was filled with obnoxious bickering between them. Once in the city, we stopped at that little boutique you enjoy so much. Mainly to clean up their attire before seeing Sophie. I've kept my eye on that one. Our last encounter was certainly entertaining however her desire to have you has grown. I'll be damned if I allow that.
I was amazed to see how well your friend put herself together in a navy blue pants suit. Its crisp lines suited the structure of her body. That was paired with an electric yellow corset and matching heels. I was happy to help braid her hair in intricate patterns. I wasn't in the mood to argue with Jason about his attire. He at least allowed me to pay for a clean pair of jeans that didn't have holes in them. I don't understand the trends of today.
To soothe Tara, I allowed her free reign with my money at Dickie Brennan's. While there she ordered roughly the entire menu. At that point, I believe she was testing how far I'd let her go. I put an end to it once Jason tried ordering liquor. He was certainly pissed off about it. He's not ready to be out here. I shouldn't have bothered him. I'll pay for his re-entry to rehab once we get you both home.
Upon arriving at Sophie's manor. I was forced to explain to your brother how important it is he shuts up in her presence. Tara more than happily agreed to make sure Jason didn't get us killed. Andrè, her guard, escorted us to the pool room. That is where we found Sophie spread eagle with some human. Your brother was attempting to look anywhere else, while Tara was unabashedly watching in awe.
"Get out!"
"As cute as that is Sophie, I have a problem. An employee of mine has gone missing. Sissi Stackhouse? Have you seen her?"
The way Sophie tossed the poor girl to the floor once hearing your name clued me in that she wasn't aware of your situation.
"No, I have not. When was this?!"
"It's been a few days since anyone has heard or seen her. I've begun a preliminary investigation. So far all that's been found is she was taken with Bill and werewolves are involved. So I'll ask again. Have you seen or heard from her?"
Sophie rose from her pool chair and covered her slender body with a robe. As she waltzed over to where I stood with the knuckleheads my patience was wearing.
"You've brought me treats? Why thank you Northman."
"Sophie."
"Queen!"
"Yes, my queen. Have you or have you not seen Stackhouse?"
"You must be related to her. You smell. Not quite as delectable but close. You are?"
"Oh me? Um. I'm Jason."
"Well, Jason. Why don't you come play with me? I'm so bored."
"No, thank you, ma'am."
"Are you denying me what I want?"
"Look. I suggest you tell Eric what he wants and leave us be."
"Oh, I've seen you and her together before. You're her friend... uh, Tara? Right? You work at that ugly little dive bar with her. Both of you come play before I lose my desire and drain you both. Northman, you can wait over there."
"We're on a tight schedule, Sophie. Make it quick."
"Oh, alright."
As I inched closer to the pool chairs I noticed the girl had yet to move. My attention on her was taken as Sophie giggled with delight and jumped in the pool. Jason was quick on her toes, while Tara was taking her sweet time undressing. I decided to help her.
"Let me get that."
As I unlaced the corset she shivered under my touch.
"Thank you."
"You need to be careful here. She's up to something. Trying to stall. That girl over there hasn't moved. I think her neck is broken and she's got Jason in that pool."
"Should I do what she wants?"
"He should. She likes when women are shy. Don't do that. Just be yourself."
"Get us out of here. Fast!"
"Just as soon as I get what I need."
I returned to my seat as I watched that beautiful woman saunter into the pool. I wasn't the only one mesmerized by her shape. Jason couldn't keep his eyes off those perky glistening breasts that bounced with Tara's every step. As she fully submerged her body he had acquired drool. It wasn't until I heard Andrè that I removed my eyes from them both.
"Is she yours?"
"Tara? No. She's a work of art though."
"Not her."
"Ah. Why do you ask?"
Andrè was standing guard over me. Probably to ensure I don't kill his queen. His eyes never left her as she played with her food. I've always wondered.
"Is she yours?"
"I love her... that girl can never come here."
"Help me out then."
"I can't. I won't betray my queen."
"So she's been here?"
Silence.
"She's being held somewhere?"
"All I know, she's in Mississippi."
"Shit."
"I suggest you get a move on."
He moved away from me in order to collect the corpse. Once he returned he very loudly declared a phone call for Sophie. She angrily hopped out the pool and stomped away. The moment I was sure she was out of earshot I collected them. Tara was forced to run while half-dressed. Jason's idiotic self tripped multiple times during our escape.
We were driving off just in time. That's when the wolves were sent on our tail. Not as violently. I believe Sophie's intent was to have me collect you for her. It's why I sent Alcide rather than tip off Russel. This is where things started to get very interesting. I wasn't sure who had you. Whether if it was Lorena or him, so. Jason and I went to Russel's gentleman club. Tara certainly enjoyed helping. She was situated in the back. We bribed one of the cleaning crew to hand over their uniform and disappear for the night.
While both Jason and I were dressed up. I've had a few dalliances with men but I'm a sucker for the ladies. Russel. He certainly seems to be the opposite. I'm not sure what you've done but even the mention of your name and he gets this look in his eyes. He's always been nuts. But. He's never been this off his rocker!
There we stood. In pretty much nothing but leather straps. I have a feeling this is some shit you'd get off on. Not the straps. The fact at that point I was giving Russel a lap dance. It was the only way I could get close enough to question him. He wanted your brother. The things I do for you. During, all he talked about was you.
For the most part, he was testing my knowledge of what you are. But occasionally he'd slip up and ask questions that seemed a bit too... personal. Such as your relationship with Bill. But most importantly. Me. He seems positively certain you're in love with me. Even recalling in detail about hearing you call out for me in your sleep. My sweet. All you needed to do was tell me. I'd of gotten rid of Bill. Nah. Even then I could tell he was just trying to rile me up.
I may love you. You are certainly attracted to me. But. You're in love with William. I may not like him. But I do respect his care of you and yours of him. I didn't say that though. I fed his desire to know just how much he was up against. I freely told lies of some love affair between us. It sent him into a rage. I went from dancing for him to trying to kill him. The only reason we escaped with our lives was Tara was packing and threatened to blow a silver bullet into the back of his head. He just laughed.
Just as we were leaving he gave me a parting gift. A little memory of you. You were writhing in pleasure with his name in your mouth. A glass dildo twisting inside you. My love. You are the most beautiful creature I've ever laid my eyes on. I'm not ashamed to admit. I've been consistently trying to not think about what you looked like. That pretty face all screwed up just as you creamed yourself. He's going to die. Russel. Or whatever the hell you were calling him. He's dead!
Anyway. From there. We made it back to home base. Some cheap ass motel 6. The entire city was crawling with those things. Russel knew I was in town now, he would have had them looking for us. That didn't include Sophie's own pack. There we changed out of the fetish gear and into plain clothes. To blend in better I cut my locks down and donned my cloak.
I was preparing to leave them there and head out towards Jackson. There was a pack of shifters that I knew would have no choice but to help me. A while back I helped them out with a little problem.
Yet again neither one of them was willing to stay behind. So we hopped in and left. Jason was quite paranoid about us getting caught. It didn't help that I stuck out like a sore thumb. I've designed a special cloak. The fabric it's woven in is dipped in uva/ uvb protective chemicals.
Ask Pam what it is. I just made the thing. They aren't on the market yet but once they hit. Vampires shall day walk. Oh, I shall make a killing! I should thank you. I do believe she obtained her samples of the sun from you. My little faerie.
Didn't think I knew. I've known since my sire sent you that damn book. Along with his number... is there something you need to confess? I hope not. He did seem quite fond of you... more alive. I have been concerned for quite a long time. That wasn't his first attempt to take his life. The first time I witnessed his, insanity, I chose to leave his side. He wasn't happy about it. But I couldn't bear to. I love my father and I am forever in your debt.
Oh, I'm so tired. I can barely keep my thoughts in order. I must rest. My eyes closed against my will. All brain waves began to cease. I woke not soon after. It seemed to still be day. It was a tickling along my skin that woke me. Then a nibble. I creakily snapped my neck in the direction of the creature attempting to feast on my corpse. I snatched the little bugger and drained it. I loathe the blood of animals but it shall do for now.
At one point. I was forced to feast only from them. It was a punishment for something I undoubtedly did. It was more of a lesson. A hard one. You must survive at all costs. Even if you must grovel. Yet he wants to die?! No. Enough about my father. Back to Jackson.
Tara was driving, while I was tucked in the back covered up, Jason sat upfront. The paranoia stemmed from the fact the entire town was shut down. Roadblocks were placed up and all sorts of creatures lurked around. For most of the ride, I was forced to listen to them bicker and fight over you. Tara isn't too sold on your marrying William. She'd prefer you dump him. I can't quite get a hold of why, it's possible because he's a vampire.
However, she seems suspicious of him for some reason. While your brother he seemed smitten. For the most part, I believe his acceptance stems from your grandmother and hers. He's still in mourning. Even more, than you are.
During the bickering? They could barely keep their eyes off each other. It was hilarious. Seems that little dip set something alight. I wonder if by now they've acted on it. This business with that Newlin woman sort of stinks. She's certainly lying to that boy about her character. If I see her. She will be taken care of for even thinking about harming you. I don't care if she later changed heart. She will suffer greatly my love.
When we made it to the backwoods I told them to stay in the truck and loaded. I wasn't about to risk their lives once more. I'm not fond of those creatures. Shifters in general irritate me to no end. But wolves especially. I have. A personal history. I don't want to talk about it. Lest think about it. The pack leader is Marcus Bozeman. A cunning son of a bitch. One that owes me quite a lot of money. I was able to cut a deal with him. He lends me one of his pack and I'll call it even. Despite having my pick of the litter. I was convinced to go with Alcide, rather than the second in command. J.D. From the greedy look in his eyes. I assume he was hoping Alcide didn't come back. Knocking two birds out.
This is where things changed from bad to worse. Alcide escorted us to his apartment. We were meant to wait there. Turns out. That J.D? Yeah. He was planning to overthrow his pack leader. He's managed to team up with Russel and now runs a full-fledged werewolf nest. The apartment complex got swarmed. Those things were climbing walls?! We barely made it out of there alive. We had been running ever since. Those things were chasing us down and then you came.
An ache began building in my fangs. That rat wasn't enough to fuel me. I need to feed and keep moving. I forced myself up. It seems I have sustained injuries. My cloak. It's damaged. I'll just have to be careful. I crept up the shoddy stairs. The scent of decay hit my nostrils and animal feces. I could hear the bugs in the walls.
Houses are almost like corpses too. There was a squatter upstairs. Male. I climbed toward the unfortunate meal. I stole his boots and a tattered jacket. I'll need the extra layers just in case... I hopped out the window and stayed in the shadows. My search for a trail began. My first step was stealing a cellphone. I dialed home and got in contact with Pamela. She picked up on the third ring.
"Fangtasia. How may how I help you?"
"With enthusiasm Pamela."
"Oh. It's you. Have you found the princess yet?"
"Sissi is being held captive by Edgington. I need you to send some bodies my way."
I hung up and tossed the thing. I'm sure every phone in this state is being tapped. The next step was checking the nearest hospital for Alcide. Hopefully Bill too. Then we're coming for you my little love...
