Rin and Shippou sighed in their sleep, furry and scaly tails curling around them.
Inuyasha's eyes drifted towards the village again.
"Kagome-sama can handle herself. You have no reason to worry."
"Keh! I ain't worried." Clawed hands folded into red sleeves. "The meidou was enough."
Sango looked up from sharpening her sword. "I still don't know how the two of you ended up in different times."
"K'gome tried to explain it to me when she got back," Inuyasha said, shrugging. "But I didn't get it. She thinks the well was trying to fix itself."
"Her coming back was the well trying to fix itself. It was probably the Shikon that separated you."
