"Let's give Auradon a taste of evil. Wicked ways beneath the skin, let all who taste it now join in."
We got all the ways to be
W-I-C-K-E-D
We got all the ways to be

Carlos had dumped a bucket of apples down the hall. Everyone in the hallway, which included the presence of Rosalie and Freckles, dove for an apple. Mal was closing the lockers behind the other students. She handed Rosalie an apple, who had approached Mal after the other students flew after the apples.
Crashing the party, guess they lost my invitation
Friendly reminder, got my own kind of persuasion
Mal tossed Rosalie a spray paint can. She grinned and caught it, shaking the can as she walked away to use it.
Looks like this place could use a bit of misbehavior
Happily ever after with a bit of flavor
Carlos threw an arm over Mal's shoulders and the two sauntered out of the hall.
Bad to the bone, with even worse intentions
We're gonna steal the show and leave em all defenseless
Jay was in the schoolyard kicking and throwing apples at the marching band.
A fairytale life can be oh so overrated
So raise your voices and let's get it activated
Evie had snuck Fairy Godmother an apple and she too had joined in on the chaos.
Long live having some fun
We take what we want
There's so many ways to be wicked
With us evil lives on the right side of wrong
There's so many ways to be wicked
Carlos had found Rosalie and the two were dancing with the other students in the hallway. Rosalie had laughed after she had smacked some poor kids book out of his hand-
A groan came from a heap underneath the covers of a bed. Rosalie had slowly made her way out of the covers, rubbing her eyes as her foggy dream seemed to disappear. The memory of her strange dream was fleeting and she found that she had trouble remembering what had occurred. Though the curiosity didn't stick with her for long. Rosalie pulled herself out of bed to prepare herself for the school day ahead of her. Freckles had yawned and stretched before curling back up to catch a few more minutes of sleep. Unlike her human, Freckles didn't need to get ready for the day. Rosalie had started getting up earlier to get ready for the day because of a certain particular someone.
The months since Ben's coronation had passed faster than Rosalie would have thought possible. Ben was crazy busy now that he was king and Mal had been pulled into the plans for the Royal Cotillion since she was Ben's girlfriend. As much as she was against it, Ben had been pushing her toward being his royal advisor. She was persistent in refusing, but she happily helped out him and Mal in her spare time. As long as the position wasn't an official royal position, she didn't mind giving her thoughts every now and again.
Rosalie quickly finished pulling on her clothes, washed-out skinny jeans, a red shirt, a cream cardigan, and black flats. The knock on her door sounded as she had picked her brush up to comb through her tangle strawberry blonde locks. Glancing over at the clock before she opened the door with her brush still in hand, she pulled the door open.
"You're early. As per usual." Rosalie couldn't help the smile that overtook her face when she saw who was standing in the doorway.
"Hi." Carlos breathed as he smiled back.
Rosalie motioned for him to come into the room as she began to brush her stubborn hair. The de Vil had changed a lot since he had first come to Auradon. His hair was longer than it used to be, straighter now that it was longer. It was still the same shade of white with a touch of black at the roots. He was more confident now, not as shy. He spoke up more during class and he had quickly become one of the top academic achieving students in Auradon Prep. Rosalie couldn't believe how smart he was. Subjects such as math and science were a breeze to him. It made her happy that he was still helping her in the subject she struggled in. Carlos made it easier to understand what she couldn't, plus the kisses were an added bonus.
A month or so after the fiasco at the coronation with Maleficent, Carlos had taken to meeting Rosalie and Freckles at their dorm room every morning so he could walk them to class. Dude usually joined him as well. Rosalie was happy for the company, and the extra time she got to spend with the boy who made her heart flutter. After raking her brush through her hair a few more times to ensure all of the knots had been worked out, Rosalie threw her hair up into a quick bun so it'd be out of her face. Once she was decently happy with her appearance, she had taken her bag and thrown it over her shoulder. Only for Carlos to take it to sling over his seconds later. Rosalie huffed but didn't bother to argue. She knew it was a lost cause. Jay and Ben had happily given him tips to be more 'gentlemanly.' Well, Ben did. Jay's suggestions usually weren't worth mentioning.
"Ready?" Rosalie asked after she glanced around the room to make sure she had everything she needed for the day of class.
She squeaked in surprise at the quick kiss that was planted on her lips.
"I am now." Carlos grinned as the red blush spread across her cheeks.
Rosalie stumbled through her words, "Um, let's ah, let's go."
No matter how many times he surprised her like that, she still became a stuttering mess. The past months with her relationship with Carlos had been amazing. But Rosalie wasn't sure what their relationship was. He had never asked her to be his girlfriend, but she knew they were more than friends. Normally she would have brought up the issue with Ben, but he had become so busy with his kingly duties that she didn't want to bother him with her simple problems. Rosalie was much too nervous to bring it up with Carlos. Although she had opened up more around the VKs, it was still difficult to talk about things that were more personal. Carlos grabbed Rosalie's hand and intertwined their fingers as they walked to Rosalie's first class. Carlos squeezed her hand and gave her a small smile after he left her at her class.
The next thing Rosalie knew, she was in the hallway with Freckles running to her locker. After she dropped off some books, she quickly made her way to Mal and Evie's room. She was supposed to meet them for Mal's dress fitting so she could give Mal her opinion. During the past few months, Rosalie had also become good friends with Mal. She saw her all of the time since she was Ben's girlfriend and Rosalie was Carlos's. It was hard for them to not talk and spend time together. Finally, Rosalie had made it to the room. Ducking in, she saw Mal already in her dress. She was standing with Evie in front of the television watching the newscast of Mal and Ben.
"Anything good?" Rosalie asked.
The look on Mal's face was enough of an answer.
"Mal must be counting down the days until the Royal Cotillion where she will officially become a Lady of the Court." the newslady on the television said.
Mal was a visual epitome of stress. Rosalie felt for her. Mal had picked up her spellbook and her Lady's Manners book before reciting a spell and quickly flipping through the pages. Two or three months ago Rosalie had walked in on Mal using her spellbook. Mal begged her to not tell Ben. Against her better judgment, she agreed in hopes it would help Mal calm down a bit.
"I know Mal's secrets of fitting in and Ben wouldn't like it one bit." Evie said with disapproval, "Haven't you guys had enough secrets between the two of you already?"
Evie motioned for Rosalie to come over for dress measurements. Rosalie huffed but complied. Evie had been persistent in insisting on designing Rosalie's dress. After much disagreement, Evie finally wore her down.
"Evie, you remember what I was like before I started using my spellbook. I mean I was a complete disaster." Mal argued.
"Well, personally, as your best friend, I strongly believe that this spellbook," Mal made a noise of protest when Evie picked up the book, "It belongs in the museum along with my mirror. Don't give me the face. Put the pout away. You know I'm right."
"You don't ever miss just running wild and breaking all the rules?" Mal burst out.
Rosalie made to leave the room, sensing that the conversation was going to be more private than she would've liked. She closed the door behind herself and Freckles, letting out a sigh. She pulled out her phone to send Mal a text message.
To: Mal
From: Rosalie
The dress looks good. I don't know if the colors are you though
Mal and Evie had met up with Jay and Carlos, Rosalie was meeting them at the lockers. All of the girls were swooning at Jay.
"Why do you torture them?" Carlos asked, "Just pick someone to take to Cotillion already."
"I'm going solo," Jay informed, "That way, I can dance with them all."
"Ah, you're the expert. Um, Jay. If you were gonna ask someone, what's the best way to go?"
"Listen, all you gotta do, is look like me."
"Oh ha ha."
"Isn't Rosalie your girlfriend anyway?" Jay asked.
"Uh, well,"
"Hey, Mal." Carlos was saved by Jane coming over to ask Mal questions on the Cotillion.
Jay pulled Carlos away while Jane fired off questions at Mal.
"You haven't asked her to be your girlfriend?" Jay was quick to bring the subject back.
"Well I mean, it uh, it never came up!" Carlos stuttered, wincing a bit.
Jay groaned, "Do I have to do everything myself?"
Before Jay could respond, Carlos felt a hand grab his. He turned quickly to see the subject of their conversation.
"Oh, uh, hey Rose." Carlos greeted.
"Is everything okay?" Rosalie asked, noting the tension between Jay and Carlos.
"Uh yeah! Everything's fine."
"Carlos has something to ask you!" Jay fired off before fleeing, grabbing Evie along the way.
Carlos was glaring holes into Jay's back as he left. Rosalie looked up at him in confusion.
"Something to ask me?" Rosalie prompted.
"Oh, well,"
Before Carlos could finish his thought, the two heard Rosalie's name from behind them. They turned to see Jane waving Rosalie over to where she stood with Ben. Mal had disappeared.
"Shoot I forgot that Jane wanted me to help her and Ben. Um, I'll text you later?" Rosalie's face was apologetic.
Carlos gave her a small smile, "Yeah."
Rosalie pushed herself up onto her toes to place a gentle kiss on Carlos's cheek before she ran off with Freckles to help Ben and Jane. Carlos sighed as she left. Every time he tried to come up with the words, he just couldn't get them out.
