This poem is dedicated to my grandmother, who died on Tuesday, August 22, 2006. It might be short, so bear with me, since I was very upset when her funeral ended. Bear with me for my loss. Please? Just pretend that Yugi's grandfather died, and you'll understand.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the poem. Thank you.
Missing you completely,
My soul feels empty without you.
Even though you watch over me,
I feel lost.
You were once taken away from me,
But I brought you back.
Now, I can't see you.
But I know that you're there.
Farewell, and we shall meet again.
Someday soon.
I promise.
Yugi stood in front of his classmates, tears lining his cheeks. The entire room was silent as the students stared at the spiky-haired duelist. He collapsed to his knees, and sobbed. Joey, Tristan, and Tea ran over to comfort him, ushering him back to his seat. Yugi held the poem in his hand, his fist clenching tightly as Tea placed an arm around him. Solomon Moto had died a few days ago from a heart attack. But Yugi knew that his grandfather would always be there for him, as would his friends.
Sorry that it was short.
Review please!
