"He sounds strong."
She fiddled with the pouch of tea in her basket. "He is, but it's more than that. I told you before; he's changed since I've met him."
"And you were adamant that it was not due to your influence."
Laughter, but it sounded strained. "I'm nothing special."
"I disagree." He said with such vigour that she jumped.
The miko stared at him for a moment, blue eyes searching before she smiled softly. "Thank you."
"I only speak the truth."
Humming softly, she placed the tea next to the flower. "Maybe one day he'll think so too."
