Barry was running through the sewers of Jump City, doing his part of the plan made up by the original Robin. No offense to the newest brat following around the Dark Knight in Gotham, but this one was the perfect mixture of Batman and normal, well as normal as one could be when you're a crime fighting orphan. Robin had kept the plan rather simple for everyone involved, but also had captured the attention of everyone including Barry with his words and attitude. That was the Batman in Richard Grayson, but the human was asking everyone if they had any adjustments they felt he needed to make, if they were okay with the plan, the kid was open to feedback in a way that Batman never was.

Robin had devised a plan where he did as he said he would, hacking into all of the TVs in Jump City and publicly saying that the Joker was losing it and that if he wanted to hear a real joke, he should head to the pier located warehouse. While the Teen Titans did that, Barry did his part by racing through the sewers, finding and disabling any and all bombs that he came across.

As Barry finished up, he raced out of the pipes and skit to a stop on the surface of the ocean before making a sharp turn towards the shoreline and could see the Teen Titans righting against the Joker and Harley Quinn.

Harley was as acrobatic as ever, weaving in and out the attacks from the staff by Robin, the metal collapsible Bo staff that Robin surely got from Batman. For an non-superpowered individual, Harley was one of the biggest annoyance.

The Joker was throwing explosives at Beast Boy who was forced to constantly change forms to avoid the explosions but Raven was doing a great job of running interference and keeping The Joker from getting the upper hand.

Barry was vibrating in place as he stood a bit off to the side invisible to the world, unsure of what to do. He could simply end this in a blur, but was that going to be the right thing to do for these kids? And they were kids despite their 'Teen Titans' title, make no mistake on that. By stepping in and taking care of this, he could undermine their confidence by stepping in and potentially sending the message that they couldn't take care of things by themselves.

However on the other hand, he was also not willing to let them get hurt because he felt that things were under control. Harley Quinn was a crazy bitch and the Joker was insanity personified. Raven roared in frustration as the Joker started shooting at her and Barry felt a twinge of guilt bubble in his heart before raced forward and a simple lightning speed karate chop to the neck, The Joker slumped over onto the ground, knocked out by the super fast blow.

Barry turned to help Robin, but the Boy wonder managed to hook Harley's leg with his staff and tripped her before a spinning blow from the staff to her head knocked her out.

Robin was panting heavily from the effort as he stood over Harley, his eyes narrowed and his body trembling whether from fatigue or anger, Barry was uncertain. But he picked up the terribly dressed clown and made his way over to Robin and Harley with The Joker slung over his shoulder.

"You did good kid" said Barry to Robin, "I got it from here though, I will take them back to prison, you guys head home and get some rest. Help the city rebuild and recover"

Robin looked like he wanted to say something, but just ended up nodding his head. That was the normal in him, Batman would never bit his tongue and followed an order from him or Superman or anyone really. Well, maybe Diana but that's because she had him by the balls.

As the Flash was about to zoom away with the pair of clown based villains, Robin spoke up "And next time Barry, don't wait so long to help out"

Barry at the mention of his real name as he shook his head, "I undersold you kid, you're a Bruce clown alright Dick. I'm not even surprised you knew I was there. He's going to be super proud when he reads this report and know that he will"

Robin grit his teeth at the mention of his real name but the Flash simply gave him a wink before disappearing in a red blur, leaving them behind while taking The Joker and Harley Quinn with him, The mention of Batman reading the report of this incident made his heart race for a moment, but he knew that it wouldn't matter, he left Batman and there wasn't any going back.

Raven floated down next to him and Beast Boy came racing over as well, "Now what?"

Robin wanted to shrug, because his green skinned friend was asking a great question in his opinion. Now what? The Flash had said to reunite the city and rebuild it, but that seemed a little simple to him. Back in Gotham, he was never really part of the clean up efforts, Batman would have him deliver the criminals to prison and by the time that they regrouped, things were taken care of.

"I think that we should listen to the Flash and try to take care of Jump City, make sure that our people are okay. Also, we have to make sure that Starfire is okay" said Robin after thinking about it.

"Smart" agreed Raven

"And don't worry Beast Boy, I forgive you for calling the Justice League. We probably wouldn't have beaten them with The Flash's help" said Robin

"Uh ... you uh knew about that huh?" asked Beast Boy as he scratched the back of his head

"Yeah, don't let it happen again, we need to be able to handle things on our own" said Robin, "We only ask them for help if it is absolutely needed"

Beast Boy nodded in agreement and Raven waved her hand and opened a portal to their tower, all of them walking through the icy depths of Raven's soul magic and appeared on the other side inside of their medical bay.

Starfire was still in the bed, but there was a taller dark haired man sitting on the chair in the corner of the room. An expensive black suit, silky white dress shirt, the top button was undone as the man wore no tie. His pants were hemmed perfectly and his glossy black shoes were expensive red bottoms.

"Hell-O children" greeted the man in a slow British drawl

Robin's Bo staff extended and he pointed it at the man, "Who the hell are you?"

"Hell is such a rather dull, boring place my dear child" tsk'd the man, "But where are my manners? My name is Lucifer Morningstar"

Of the three people, only one of them reacted and it was Raven with a gasp.

"What type of weirdo names their kid after the devil" said Beast Boy as he made a face

Raven slapped him on the back of his head and put her other hand on Robin's shoulder, "He isn't named after the Devil, he is the Devil"

Robin made a face of disbelief and Lucifer flashed his eyes blood red and Robin dropped the ground as he saw the scene of his parents falling to the ground over and over until he felt his mouth fill with vomit and before he could stop himself it was covering the floor.

Robin stopped vomiting and Lucifer snapped his fingers, his dark coarse magic flooding the room, blanketing every inch of it. Robin felt chills roll down his spine and he felt the urge to kill himself dominant his mind, his will crumbling within seconds.

Lucifer rolled his eyes and with a tsk, snapped his fingers again. The dark feeling sunk back into Lucifer's body and Robin noticed that the vomit on the ground was gone as well.

"Now, are we going to speak or do I have to perform another little parlor trick for you lot?" questioned Lucifer

Raven grew her extra set of eyes on her forehead in response to feeling the dark cold magic of Lucifer, Beast Boy was shivering like a dog would in the moment, and Robin was slowly climbing back up to his feet. All of them were unnerved by the display, none of them wishing to test him.

"Lord Lucifer, what brings you here?" asked Raven, figuring that if any of them should talk, it should be her. She didn't trust Beast Boy in a situation like this and Robin had just failed.

"Ah finally someone with some bloody manners" commented Lucifer before he narrowed his eyes at Raven, sniffing the air as if he smelt a foul odor.

Lucifer let out a chuckle, the long pronounced kind that echoed throughout the room, "My my my, oh my Father. Is that Trigon I sense in there? Yes, I can feel the nasty little bugger banging on the window of that gem on your forehead"

Raven frowned, "You know my father?"

"Not per say" replied Lucifer, "But I know of him. I know that not this October 30th, but the following one, you are set to have your soul ripped apart as he uses it as a portal to dimension as he seeks to conquer everything, Destiny talks about it all the time"

"Then you know that our world is doomed" said Raven

"Perhaps, perhaps not. It all depends on whether or not I decide to step in. Trigon might be a multidimensional demon, but my father is the Presence. I created the dimension that he spawned in with my brother Michael. His power is vast, but nothing compared to the Arch Angels" countered Lucifer

"I doubt that you're offering your help out of the kindness of your heart" spat Robin, "None of us are interested in playing any kind of sick game that you want to play, none of us want to make a deal with the devil. You wouldn't be collecting any of our souls"

Lucifer rolled his eyes, "Why would I want your soul? It's stained with bad deeds and sins. Come one Richard, your little jerk off sessions covered soul has no value to me. The only souls worth making any type of deal over are newborn souls and I have never allowed myself nor demons to make those deals."

Robin snarled "Get out of here, nobody wants anything to do with you"

"Lower your volume boy, your female friend is sleeping" tsk'd Lucifer, "Besides the decision isn't yours to make, the decision belongs to the lady"

Robin frowned, he wasn't very experienced with the whole cosmic being most powerful being he ever met was Superman and he was constantly trying to prove how human he was. But even he could tell, this Lucifer being was more powerful than anything or anyone he had ever faced before. The concept of the actual Devil walking the worth was crazy, even more so was that he actually did the deal thing from the myths.

"Deals are two way agreements, that means you want something from us" said Robin as he realized the wording that Lucifer was using.

"You are a smart little bugger" complimented Lucifer, "That is correct, I have something for you guys to do for me in exchange for my help against her daddy dearest. But she has to make the decision"

Raven looked even more pale than usual, what could the Devil want with her. She was much more versed in the actual facts of who the being in front of her was, one of the 10 strongest beings in existence. The only people possibly more powerful than him were his twin Michael and his father, The Presence. So, what could someone this powerful need them for?

"What are you asking for?" said Raven

"I need you lot, to take care of a young man by the name of Naruto Uzumaki. He's out in Gotham and as much as I would love to personally take care of him myself, I have things to do" answered Lucifer

"This is over a random boy, why don't you snap your fingers and just kill him. We don't kill people" questioned Beast Boy

"Woah woah there my green friend, nobody said anything about killing anyone" said Lucifer, "Take care of him as in make sure he's okay"

"You want us to babysit some random boy?' asked Raven, "That's hardly an equal exchange, you're offering way more than you are receiving"

"Well, the blond brat is my son, so I assure you that it is an equal trade off" said Lucifer

"You want us to babysit the Antichrist?" asked Beast Boy with a blink as he struggled to understand the concept of what was being asked of you.

"Nobody is babysitting anyone and the brat isn't the Antichrist, there is no such thing" said Lucifer

"He's right, there isn't really any real proof of an Antichrist" said Raven, "Especially considering that he's not even evil. Don't let the fact that he seems like a smug ass distract you from the fact that he's an angel"

"You are rather well versed in Celestial lore" noted Lucifer, "Now do we have a deal or not?"

"I don't suppose you could tell me how to defeat Trigon could you?" asked Raven

Lucifer's eyes glowed with otherworldly power for a brief moment before he shook his head, "No child, if I tell how you can defeat Trigon, you wouldn't confident in yourself to do it"

"But the version of Raven who did it" they finished together

"Makes sense" said Raven, "It could never be that easy for me"

"Sorry, I would never shaft anyone in a deal, telling you now will only cause it to sour on you" agreed Lucifer

"So what exactly do you want from us?" asked Raven

"My son, Naruto, has the potential of myself and then some. I would like someone to help guide him into being a better person, my nature is too chaotic to simply be left alone" answered Lucifer

"Then why not raise him yourself?" asked Robin

"I was in Hell when he was born, I didn't even realize he was alive and my son until just recently. At the age of 16, it's a little too late for me to just step into his life and act like a loving parent" replied Lucifer

"Ok, but I want a confirmed set of rules and guidelines for the deal" said Raven as she finally caved in and agreed to the deal with Lucifer.

The devil you know

Lucifer nodded "You are to try and recruit my son to the Teen Titans in hopes that he can become of hero. And for your attempt in doing so, I will do everything in my power to help you defeat Trigon on that dreadfully planned sweet sixteen birthday of yours"

"That's rather straightforward" said Raven, a twinge of surprise in her usually emotionless voice, "What's the downside? If we don't get him to join the deal is off?"

"No, you have to actually try of course, but if he's anything like me, he will probably tell you to fuck off or get into your pants. Especially boy wonder here with the tight pants" said Lucifer

"So, you're going to help us as long as we try?" asked Beast Boy

"Yes" was the simple one word answer that Lucifer gave the green shapeshifter.

"Then I agree" said Ravens

Lucifer extended his hand, his hand dwarfing hers as they met. His eyes flashed their pulsing red, the same as all four of Raven's eyes and there was a pulse of dark empty cold magic that wrapped around both of their bodies, the magic pulsed once, twice, then thrice before disappearing from the room, a soft silvery outline surrounding both Lucifer and Raven before their handshake ended.

"A binding contract with a celestial, that was intense" commented Raven in awe at the sheer power that had flowed through her upon agreeing to the deal.

Lucifer gave a bright smile, "If you have faith in yourself, you'll be able to scratch power close to yourself"

Raven was uncertain about that but she didn't voice her opinion.

Lucifer snapped his fingers and Starfire gasped as she woke up completely healed.

"That's a bit of a freebie, because I live here so I probably would have helped with the whole Trigon thing ... maybe" said Lucifer with a cheeky smile before he vanished in a burst of darkness.

"So, did we get tricked or ...?" asked Beast Boy?

"I have no idea" replied Robin

"Can someone provide me with the filling of info?" asked Starfire.

Central City:

Wally West was not supposed to be snooping around this lab, but his Aunt Iris said to go look for uncle Barry. The lab itself was actually amazing, the large wall of beakers and vials filled to the brim with different mixtures and chemicals, it was quite the sight.

Speaking of sights, the large window that made up the roof allowed Wally to see the entire city skyline.

"How the hell does a Police forensics lab tech afford a personal lab like this?" questioned Wally

Looking out the window, Wally saw the thick storm clouds that blanketed the sky, it was clearly about to be a massive thunderstorm or at least a some rain. Hopefully Iris could find her husband Barry before it actually started raining, Wally didn't want to get caught in the rain if it started to fall.

Lightning split the sky and the following thunder clap shook the building, causing a water bottle to fall off Barry's desk. Wally stepped on it and he lost his balance, stumbling backwards into the wall of beakers and vials, causing most of them to come crashing down on his body.

"Ah shit, Uncle Barry is going to kill me" groaned Wally as he was not drenched in a bunch of weird chemicals.

He slowly stood up, looking around the lab for a mop to at least try and keep this up and pray that Barry didn't kill him. But as he turned his back on the large window, he missed the massive bolt of lightning that crashed through the window.

He started to turn around as the sound of the window breaking but the lightning already was upon him and he couldn't move fast enough to avoid it. At first, he felt nothing as the lightning coursed through his body. Then he felt his body start to vibrate as he realized that he was shaking in place.

He heard a scream louder than anything he had ever heard before, but he quickly realized that it was him screaming. Then the pain hit him and he felt his body spasm as he couldn't handle it. It was overwhelming, it was burning and cold at the same time. As he twitched, he saw the hands of the clock start to slow down, the second hand tickling by slower than ever.

Looking down at his hands, he saw his skin was bubbling as it was burned off of his body, as the combination of the chemicals and the lightning burned him. There was a bang and he was confused as to whether or not that was in his head as he struggled to breath due to the pain.

Wally looked to his left and saw Barry push the door open, running over to him, but it was weird. Why was the second hand on the clock moving slower than Uncle Barry? Wally coughed and struggled to stand as felt Barry approach him, The pain was giving way to all body numbness, his skin was shivering. A coppery taste filled his mouth and he now felt the inside of his cheek that he had ripped when he bit down after screaming.

Finally making his way to his feet, Wally tried to take a single step towards Barry who was a couple steps away from him when he raced past him and slammed into the wall in a burst of speed that he had only ever seen in the videos about The Flash.

Dazed from slamming into the wall, Wally was about to slump over when Barry was holding him in his hands outside of the building and Wally gasped in surprise.

"What the fuck" wheezed Wally

"Aye watch your mouth, Mary wouldn't appreciate you using that kind of language" said Barry

Wally groaned from his position in his uncle's arms and he looked around as the rain fell from the sky, but it was so slow that he almost thought that the rain was frozen in place.

In fact, everything seemed to be frozen to him. Everything but him and his uncle Barry. The people on the street were frozen in horror looking up at the lab that had exploded post lightning strike. But the glass from the window had still yet to fall down to the street. Something was seriously wrong, the world was out of wack.

"What's going on?" asked Wally

"You were part of an accident Wally, but everything is going to be okay" Barry assured Wally

"Why isn't anyone else moving?" asked Wally

"There is no better way or time to show you" answered Barry before he took off running, racing through the streets at speeds that nobody but Wally was able to process. In fact, to Wally it wasn't even that fast.

But they made it the house that Barry and Iris shared in a matter of minutes, nearly three dozens miles away from Barry's work place. Wally's wrist watch showed that they had traveled the 35 miles in less than a second.

But how was that possible, you would have to be moving at the speed of light and the only people that Wally knew that could actually do that were The Flash and maybe Superman. His uncle Barry couldn't be The Flash, he wasn't cool enough to be a superhero.

"What's going on Uncle Barry?" asked Wally

Barry slowly placed Wally onto the ground and spun around and Wally's eye widen in shock as the form of his uncle was replaced by The Flash. His favorite superhero was his uncle? How did he miss this?

"You're the The Flash, that's how you moved so fast?" whispered Wally

"Yes, Wally, I am The Flash. I was involved in an accident much like the one that you just experienced, it gave me the ability to move to move as fast as lightning" answered Barry

"Okay, but then why is everything moving so slow for me? I don't have any super powers. I'm not the Flash like you" questioned Wally

Barry smiled at his nephew, finding some humor in Wally's ability to not realize what should be obvious at this point.

"Kid, I have no idea how you haven't realized it yet, but if me racing through the city and everything in the world is moving at nanoseconds pace for you, clearly the accident just gave you powers similar to my own" said Barry

Wally's eyes widen, he could be a superhero, just like the Flash, just like his uncle Barry.

"I could be Flash Jr or Speedy or something like that" exclaimed Wally excited about the idea.

"Eh, I was hoping you would be sold on the name 'Kid Flash' it has a certain ring to it" said Barry before he quickly added "In my opinion"

"I love it" said Wally

"Good, not let's give you, your first lesson. Because we're currently both on a plane of movement that is moving at 186,000 miles per second and you have school tomorrow and that's already boring and long" joked Barry.

In Washington DC

Lex Luther was inside his limo, holding on his lap, a special briefcase lined with lead so the ultimate Boy Scout couldn't use his little special eyes to see into it. And that was truly the last thing that Lex would want. The briefcase was holding something that Superman would be furious to see and Lex knew it.

The car stopped and he smiled as the door opened and he slid out of the car. His cybernetic assistant had opened the door and he ordered her to protect the limo with her life. Waiting for him was a man that he knew fairly well at this point. Dr. Desmond, the head of the genetics research at Cadmus. He was the one who had created the energy source that had pushed Lexcorp into a new high for the past 2 quarters. He was also the man that had been supply the Light with next technology and weapons seemingly week after week.

"Mr. Luther, it is a pleasure to have you visit the lab once again. I heard that you have something for me as well. I hope that it's something that is worth pulling me off of Project Blockbuster for" said Dr. Desmond.

"Let's head into the lab before I give you any more details" said Lex before they walked into the building side by side and into the high speed elevator that was not suitable for the 3 story building. But it was very much needed for the 52 secret sub-levels hidden underneath the building. They stopped at Sub-Level 23, the main genetics lab at Lex's insistence and they walked into the lab.

Lex placed the briefcase on the nearest table and opened it, revealing a jagged edged piece of tan skin, no bigger than 2 inches by 2 inches.

"That is a chunk of skin" said Desmond

"Correct, notice anything else?" challenged Lex

"It's completely preserved, you've either had it frozen perfectly before putting it in that briefcase or it's special" replied Desmond

"Correct, it's something special. There is nobody that I would trust more with this Desmond. This is a chunk of Superman's skin" said Lex

"You've managed to obtain Superman's DNA" gasped Desmond

Lex just gave him a knowing look and a cocky smile

"What do you want me to do with this?" asked Desmond

"I want you to create our very own Superman" said Lex as he closed the briefcase and slid it over to Desmond.

A/N: There we go, another chapter in the books. I am happy with this one. We are slowly setting up the team that I want there to be. We have the TV Show Teen Titans of Robin, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire. But now we also have Wally West set to join the team as well, with Naruto set to be offered a spot as well.

Lucifer will probably be absent from the next couple of chapters as the story shifts to a more teen centric case, but Batman will be in and out of the next arc as well.

Should I name the arcs? I really never go out of my way to name chapters but I wouldn't mind naming the arcs of the story.

If you are interested in talking with myself or other fans of this story and other ones, please feel free to join my discord, it full of great people from all over the country and several international members as well.
