AN: Dani's wedding! Here we go! So sorry for the longest wait for this chapter ever. I was really struggling with this one because I really didn't want it to be the same as Audrey's wedding. 3 I hope you enjoy!
The next day, Saturday, April 30, 2039, Rome, Italy, Dani's Bridal Suite
The next morning, Dani woke up by her sister, Dana shaking her shoulder.
"Dani? Wake up."
Dani groaned. "Ugh. Five more minutes..."
Dana shook her head. "No, girl. You have to get up. Now. Unless you want to be late to your own wedding..."
Dani sighed as she sat up from the bed and got up from the bed. "Fine, I'm getting up!" She headed into the bathroom to shower. She undressed and got into the shower.
After getting out of the shower, Dani wrapped herself in the towel after putting some oils on her body and washed her face. She put her hair up in a loose bun when she walks into the main room.
After getting some breakfast with Dana, the bride to be headed to get her nails and toes done with the rest of the ladies, along with her sisters, Dana and Delilah.
Maya, Dani's mother turned her head to look at her daughter. "How did you sleep, honey?" She asks her soon to be married daughter.
Dani starts chuckling. "Well, you know, the tossing and turning were definitely a thing until 1AM so, I'm praying I don't fall the fuck asleep at the alter." She groans.
Audrey starts laughing uncontrollably. "You now know how it was for me, girl. You're running on a high of wanting to be married."
Maya looks at her niece. "Audrey's right. You'll feel better in a few hours."
Dani laughs. "Yeah, when I'm married." She says as they continue to get their nails and toes done.
They talk throughout the appointment and then head up to the bridal suite to start getting ready for the wedding. After getting their hair and make-up done, the girls decided to gather together for a photo in their robes.
Dani was one of those layed back brides, so they have white dresses. She didn't want them to find different colors and fight over everything.
After the ladies got into their dresses, they waited for Dani to appear out of her room. The waiting was driving all of them crazy.
They were chatting with each other before hearing the door open and close.
Maya looked up from her phone and saw her daughter in her wedding dress. Her eyes widened with tears in her eyes.
"Oh, Danielle, you look so beautiful!" Maya says to her daughter as she fights the need of tears coming. "I told myself I wouldn't cry..."
Bailey shook her head. "Too late, I'm already crying myself." She wipes her eyes, trying not to mess up her makeup.
Dani shook her head. "Mom, Aunt Bailey, you said you wouldn't cry." She breathes out.
Audrey looks at her cousin. "But- but you look too beautiful right now for us not to cry!" She tries to fight the need to cry herself. "God damn it! I promised I wouldn't cry! Look what I'm doing!" She laughs, wiping her eyes with her finger.
It was true. Dani looked so beautiful. Her dress was a two piece white dress with lace at the top, on the sleeves and where her waist is, and the bottom is a long train, being plain is looking beautiful.
Her hair has a braid at the top of her head and the rest is curled. Her makeup is a natural look. Her shoes are plain white.
"Oh, please. I'm just hoping Jake cries when he sees me. If he doesn't cry, I'll turn my ass around and then do it again." She chuckles.
Samantha, Jake's mother smiles at her soon to be daughter in law. "Oh, trust me. He'll cry. He cried when he asked you to marry him."
Dani nods, breathing in and out. "True."
Jake's Suite, a floor down from Dani's bridal suite
Jake was finishing up getting ready for the day he'll become a husband to the girl who he met when he was twenty two, and she was nineteen. Now, twenty four and twenty eight, here they are - getting married after being together for six years.
Vincenzo Rivers, Jake's father walks over to his eldest son. "Hey buddy. How are you feeling?" He asks Jake.
Jake chuckles a little. "Uh, you know. Getting married to my girl in one hour and my heart hasn't stopped racing since this morning, dad."
Vincenzo laughs. "That's how I felt when I married your mother thirty two years ago. I was thirty two and she was twenty."
"Did it feel weird being 13 years older than mom?" Jake asks.
Vincenzo shook his head. "No, it actually was something I wanted for two years. We started our relationship when your mom was 18, and a year and half later, her father found out and wanted to murder me, but I told him that I loved his daughter."
He chuckled a little as he continues. "It took your grandpa a while to get used to the idea of me being with your mom, now he's happy for us."
Jake's eyes were wide. "Wow. I'm speechless."
"Yeah, it's a bit weird, but it worked."
Jake laughs. "Apparently. I wouldn't be here if it didn't."
"No, you wouldn't be. And, I'm happy we had you and your sisters." Vincenzo says, fixing Jake's tie.
Zack walks over to his soon to be son in law. "I'm about to head to the bridal suite to grab my daughter. I'll see you at the aisle with my daughter." Jake nods his head with a smile.
"I can't wait."
Dani's Bridal Suite
The ladies have been trying to get Dani to not touch her dress or makeup and it's extremely hard. Dani has been bouncing up and down the walls for hours, itching to be married already.
A knock on the door snaps Dani out of her nervousness. Audrey walks over to the door and opens the door for her uncle.
"Hey uncle Zack." She says, smiling.
"Is everyone dressed?" Zack asks, and Audrey nods her head. "Yes."
Zack's eyes grew wide when he sees his eldest daughter in her dress for the first time.
"Wow, Dani. You look gorgeous." Zack says, with a smile.
"Thank you, dad." Dani smiles at her father.
After the ladies had left the room to head down to courtyard where the wedding is going to be held, Zack turned to look at his daughter.
"Danielle, I can't believe you're getting married today. You are my firstborn, and I can't believe I'm giving you away to a man who stole your beautiful heart. You mean everything to me, sweetheart, and all I want is for you to be happy." Zack starts, with a few tears burning in his eyes.
"I love you, my sweet girl. All I want is for you to have love and happiness with your husband, who loves you so much and I can't picture anyone else being forever yours, honey." He smiles at his daughter.
Dani felt the tears burning in her eyes. She faught them back before nodding her head and linked her arm with her father.
"Let's get you hitched." Zack says and he walks his daughter to the courtyard, where family and friends are waiting to see her walk down the aisle.
All that matters is her and her husband.
Jake looks up and sees his bride walking down the aisle. His eyes started to water, with a big grin on his face. When Zack and Dani arrive at the altar, the priest looks at Zack.
"Who gives this woman to this man?" The priest asks. Zack looks at him. "Her mother and I do, happily." He says, placing Dani's hand into Jake's.
Both looking at each other with big grins on their faces. "You look so gorgeous." Jake whispers.
"Thank you." Dani whispers back. The priest smiles at the couple and then at the guests.
"Today, all of you are witnesses to see Danielle Martin and Jake Rivers take on the adventure as a married couple. These two have been together for five years and now, finally, they are ready to be Mr. and Mrs. Rivers." He looks at Dani.
"Danielle and Jake have their own vows, so Dani, you may go first."
Dani takes a deep breath before taking Jake's hands into hers. "Jake, here we are, we're finally going to be husband and wife. After six wonderful years, I get to call you my husband, officially. I can't wait to go on an adventure called life with you." She says, tears filling up in her eyes.
"I can't wait to continue to show you how much I love you. You mean everything to me. I don't think I could love anyone more than I love you." She lets out a sniff, trying not to let tears fall down her cheeks as she spoke her vows.
"I know our future is unknown, and I can't wait to see where our lives go as we go on the next great adventure - husband and wife. I love you so much."
Jake wiped a few tears away as he squeezed her hands. "I hope I can top yours." He says before hearing the guests laugh. He takes a deep breath before telling his vows to his beautiful bride.
"Dani, my soon to be wife, I can't wait to spend the rest of my days loving you. I can't wait to raise our children together someday. I can't wait to go on an adventure called life with you as my best friend and wife."
He smiles at her. "Honey, you mean the whole world to me. I want you to know I'll be there for you until I take my last breath. I want you to know that I can't wait to do parenthood with you someday." He continues.
"Danielle, I love you so much." Jake smiles before looking at the priest.
"Rings please?" The priest says. After the ring exchange, and they say I do, the priest looks at Jake.
"Jake, you may kiss your bride."
Jake smiles brightly at his bride and nods, and then takes Dani's face into his hands, leaning down and kisses her passionately.
Dani wraps her arms around his neck as Jake's lips touch hers and they kiss passionately. The wedding guests stand up and start clapping and whistling.
After a few minutes of kissing, the now Mr. and Mrs. Rivers pull away from their kiss.
The priest looks at them. "I now pronounce to you all, Mr. and Mrs. Rivers."
Dani and Jake are now onto a new adventure as husband and wife.
AN: Dani & Jake are finally married! 3 Chapter three will be out on Saturday, maybe sooner, depending on when the chapter will be finished.
