Prologue: After Cerberus . . . the Rise of G.

Weiss, the powerful SOLDIER, lay dead upon a single rock beneath the torn wreckage of a now silent Midgard. Two tachi length Japanese swords lay upright in the stone. They were his weapon of choice, made to also be lever action rifles with incredible firing rates. However, his strength, even when fused with the almighty power of Omega, had not been enough against Vincent and Chaos.

Weiss and the resolved master of Chaos had fought tooth and nail, their movement too fast to see, the dark energy bullets of the dreaded Death Penalty had ripped through the alternate reality inside Omega's being.

Dodge.

Parry.

Thrust.

Slash.

Gunshot.

Repeat.

It seemed like a lethal dance that would never end . . . and so Omega decided to assist Weiss the Immaculate. Vincent had drawn upon greater powers within Chaos and defeated them both in an explosion that engulfed the horizons. When all was over, both Omega, and Chaos, its 'squire to the lofty heavens' as written in Dr. Lucrecia Crescent's thesis after reading the texts of the Cetra, or Ancients; had returned to the Lifestream. There, they would wait until the true end of the world; not the fake one started by Hojo and his insane plans.

To the shore of the small pond of water, lay an enormous crystal, a silhouette was held within its shadowed sheen. The crystal began to draw what little pure Lifestream was left in the defeated Weiss, glowing ever brighter as it continued to draw the energy from the surrounding area.

Finally, growing to a pure white light, the crystal shattered in a cacophonous roar, the shining halo of energy dissipated. Out from the crystalline remains stepped shadowed figures, his knee high boots let out a soft echo as his approached the water. Without hesitation, he stepped out to the pond, his foot fall never sinking as he crossed the surface of the lake with slow, deliberate steps. Not a single ripple passed over the water as he made his way toward the fallen warrior.

Finally arriving on the small isolated mass of land, he scooped up the dead Weiss. The full moon shined down on them through the hole in the ceiling. Deep brown hair with mako eyes looked down upon his fallen comrade, a fellow SOLDIER. The mystery man was dressed in a samurai styled long coat. Dark grays and blacks lined the fabric underneath the raven colored armor.

"Dear, dear brother. This isn't over yet my brother . . . not by a long shot."

A single, lone, long darkened wing unfurled itself from the left shoulder of the SOLDIER a dark laughter rumbled in his chest.

"Heh heh heh . . . not by a long shot. This is only the beginning."

With a mighty flap of his wing, the figure took flight, Weiss, still limp in death in his arms as he left the ruins of Midgard behind, destined for who knew where.

All hail G, the true SOLDIER incarnate, the basis for the child of Hojo and Lucrecia Sephiroth.

Cloud was the failed copy of the legendary SOLDIER, so Sephiroth is the copy of G. G, a man whose existence was thought to be fairy tale even among SOLDIERS as the unmatched leader of them all, wielding power unimaginable, the true incarnation of Ashura, the God of War.

Prepare thyself. It is time for the true battle for the world.
