The next morning Julieta quickly headed to the kitchen. Excited to bake as many empanadas as she could before they went to town at noon so they could show all the villagers what she was now able to do.

Pepa and Bruno had been quick to offer their help but then Julieta had pointed out that she had to be the one to make them or it might not work!

And then Alma reminded the two that they still had a punishment to do. And so they were cleaning the entrance hall or they wouldn't even be allowed one of Julieta's empanadas anyway.

That didn't seem to hinder Pepa's mood though. She was smiling all over her face while sweeping.

Bruno glanced at her with questioning eyes.

"What?" Pepa asked.

"You're smiling in a weird way." Bruno pointed out.

"No I'm not," Pepa informed him importantly.

"You are," Bruno said. "Why?"

"It… It's a secret!" Pepa said. "I'll show everybody when Julieta has shown she can heal." then she stopped and looked at Bruno. "So erhm… have you noticed. Something different since yesterday?"

"Well I mean three big rooms magically appeared and Julieta's food heals people," Bruno pointed out.

"Well aside from that," Pepa said. "Have you noticed something different about… You?"

"Me?" Bruno asked.

"Yeah, you know… Have you done something you… couldn't do yesterday?" Pepa asked.

Bruno looked at Pepa blankly. "I have no idea what you're talking about," he said.

"Well… Maybe you need a trigger then." Pepa contemplated.

"Huh?" Bruno blinked.

"What if I… TICKLE YOU!" Pepa shouted as she jumped at Bruno and suddenly pinned him to the floor. Tickling him all over his neck and arms.

Bruno screamed from laughter. "HAHAHAHA! Sto… STOP!" he laughed.

"You feel anything yet?" Pepa asked.

"Other than it tickles?" Bruno asked and that only made Pepa mercilessly continue and Bruno screamed in laughter. "Stop it!" he said and suddenly his eyes quickly flashed green as he gasped. "Mama is going to be mad!"

Barely had he said it before a shout came.

"PEPITA! BRUNITO!"

At once both children scrambled up and stood up with their hands behind their backs to face their mother who obviously looked annoyed.

"Have you finished cleaning the entrance yet?" Alma asked and both looked down.

"No Mama." they both muttered.

"Then get to it! It needs to be finished before we go to town." Alma stated.

"Yes Mama." They both muttered again and Alma huffed before going back to the kitchen to supervise the daughter that was cooking.

Then Bruno glanced at Pepa. "That one was your fault."

"I just wanted to know what you can do!" Pepa stated.

"What do you mean 'what I can do?" Bruno asked and Pepa sighed as she stood up.

"It's what I wanted to show," Pepa said as she held out a hand and then suddenly a little cloud appeared above it and Bruno's eyes widened.

"That… that's like the cloud from yesterday!" Bruno gasped.

"Yeah. And I can control it!" Pepa grinned as she threw the cloud over herself. Made it disperse and then she laughed only for a gust of wind to nearly knock her over. "Well… I can sort of control it." she corrected herself.

"Wow." Bruno wide-eyed looked at her. "You can… make weather?" he asked.

And Pepa grinned as she nodded. "Ever since my room appeared! And Julieta can heal with food so… What can you do?!" she asked.

"I… I don't know." Bruno blinked.

"You don't have any idea?" Pepa asked. "Your room is full of sand… Can you control the sand?"

"I don't think so." Bruno shook his head.

"Well, I guess we'll figure it out," Pepa said as she picked up a broom and continued sweeping, soon followed by Bruno.

Neither wanted their mama to shout at them again.

They were done exactly on time! And as a reward, Bruno and Pepa got to be taste testers for the empanadas.

They were… Amazing.

Both Pepa and Bruno's eyes were fluttering as they both let out a big. "Ummmm!" And Julieta grinned happily.

Then they packed up and headed to the town square where they had the big announcement.

Old Miquel had broken his leg last week and Julieta offered him an empanada and suddenly…. Miquel gasped as he stood up and walked.

"It… it's a miracle!" His daughter gasped.

"MY SISTER CAN HEAL WITH FOOOD!" Bruno shouted happily as he stretched up his arms and Alma smiled.

"Our Encanto has given us yet another gift." Alma smiled. "My daughter is now able to heal. And we swear we shall use this gift to help our community. For the good of all."

And Julieta grinned.

"That's not all! LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!" Pepa shouted as she jumped forward and made a cloud that rained. She twirled around taking the cloud with her. She created a wind that ruffled the skirts of the people around her and they laughed.

Alma's eyes widened.

"I CAN MAKE THE WEATHER!" Pepa laughed holding up her hands.

"Well… She can't completely control it. When she tripped yesterday it rained and she didn't do that on purpose." Bruno commented.

"Hey don't tell them that!" Pepa exclaimed and Bruno grinned.

"What can you do?" A kid suddenly asked Bruno.

"I errh…" Bruno hesitated. "I don't know yet," he admitted.

"He must be able to do something," Pepa said. "We all got brand new rooms! And that's when we got our gifts!"

Bruno shrugged then he opened his eyes and they flashed green making everyone gasp. Everyone saw it. "Pepa your wind is going to knock over the apple stand."

"What?" Pepa asked. "NO IT'S NOT!" she shouted.

And as she shouted it, her wind picked up strength and the apple stand right behind them was knocked over, sending all the apples rolling.

Everyone quieted and then they turned to Bruno who, shocked, looked at all the apples on the ground.

"Did…" A woman suddenly gasped. "Did he just make the apple stand fall?"

"NO!" Bruno cried as he looked up. "I didn't! I just… I saw it happen. In my mind! And then it happened I swear! I didn't make it happen!"

Pepa's eyes widened. "So… You can see into the future?"

"Huh?" Bruno looked at her.

"YOUR DOOR!" Pepa shouted. "It's an hourglass! Time! You can see into the future Bruno!" she shouted, grabbing his shoulders.

Bruno gaped. "I can see into the future?" he asked and his eyes widened. "I CAN SEE INTO THE FUTURE!" he shouted.

And then the two girls screamed in delight as they piled onto Bruno and they both laughed and yelled as they held hands dancing around.

Then Bruno halted. "Wait… What use is it to be able to see into the future when I can only see things that are just about to happen in a few seconds?" he asked as he scratched his cheek.

Alma chuckled as she put a hand on her son's shoulder. "I suppose we will find out. You each got your gift for a reason. I know it! And you will help and protect this Encanto. All of you."

Wide-eyed, Bruno looked up at his mother and then he smiled. "Sorry my gift isn't any better," he muttered as he blushed.

"It's perfect," Alma said as she sat down on her knee to get closer to the boy. "It's just as wonderful and special as you," she informed Bruno, poking him on the nose, and Bruno chuckled.

"READ MY FUTURE!" A little girl suddenly shouted as she ran up to Bruno. "What is my future husband going to look like! Is he going to be a prince?"

"Read mine!" A boy then shouted. "Do I become strong like my Papa?"

And several children came asking similar questions.

Wide-eyed Bruno looked at them and then he beamed. "I'm not sure how to do that yet. But I'll find out and then I'll read aaaalll of your futures!" he promised and they all cheered in eager excitement. "For now though have one of my sister's empanadas! Even if you are not hurt they still taste amazing!" he laughed as he picked one up and stuffed it into his mouth and all the children cheered, easily ignoring Bruno for an empanada.

Bruno smiled and then Pepa grabbed him, flinging an arm around his shoulder. "Told you you had something too!"

Bruno grinned at her showing his shiny white teeth. "That's good! Now we can all have gifts together!"

"You were worried you didn't get one?" Pepa asked.

"A little," Bruno admitted.

And Pepa chuckled. "That's funny you were worried about that considering you are the one who can see the future."

"Well… Only seconds of it and only a very short time into the future." Bruno sighed.

"As far as you know." Pepa pointed out. "Maybe you can do even more."

Bruno nodded thoughtfully. "Maybe."
