Hello everybody. Any welcome back to "To Eternity, My Witch" and I hope that y'all are doing well. I have been quite busy with work harvesting/combining fields of corn and preparing them for being sent to South America for their growing season (I work for an agricultural company). I've done my best to get this next chapter to you for this week.

Now y'all know the antagonist of the story. I hope he's all that he seems and that y'all are liking the story so far. As far as this chapter goes, it's going to be the longest yet; though, there may be longer ones in the future. We shall see, ne? Please bear with me. I know this chapter may not be much in advancing the story, but, hear me out, it's all important to the story's development for later.

I DO NOT own any of these as they are and were created by their respective creators. Marvel is owned and created by the late Stan Lee via Disney. Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Weber. LofZ: OoT and TP by Shigeru Miyamoyo. Fire Emblem by Shouzou Kaga. Black Butler by Yana Toboso. And finally, Inuyasha by Rumiko Takahashi.

Now on to the newest chapter.

~ Chapter 5 Forgotten Memories~

Natasha's POV.

I breathed in deep as I woke up to the Wakandan morning light. I sighed, yet as I did, I felt sick to my stomach. Morning sickness. I jumped up suddenly and raced into the bathroom to puke, a tired Steve not too far behind me. He gently rubbed my back, holding my red hair up, which was now several inches past my shoulder, as I emptied my stomach due to morning sickness. He held me close, rocking me afterwards to comfort me and to help calm my stomach.

Wanda, who had awoken with Bucky at my race to the bathroom, offered me a cold, wet cloth and a dry towel to wipe my mouth. I did so and smiled to Steve, "Thank you Steve, for comforting me. And you, Wanda, for the cloth."

Wanda smiled sympathetically, still kneeling down and asking, "You alright, Tasha? Feeling better?"

I nodded, "Just morning sickness due to the baby. How about we get ready for breakfast?" Wanda and Bucky nodded, retreating from the bathroom to change. Steve still held me; concern written on his face. "Steve, I'm alright. Morning sickness is normal for pregnancy." I tried to stand, but Steve held onto me. I huffed, "What's wrong Steve?"

"How is it that you're pregnant when you specifically told me you could never have children because of the KGB taking your ovaries in the red room experience?" Steve stated, both questioning and accusing.

I lowered my gaze in shame, hesitant to answer because it had to do with Amelia, who was in Shuri's lab. When I didn't answer, Steve huffed, "It's alright if you don't want to say, but it's just frustrating and hurtful to know that you deliberately would lie and keep the truth from me Natasha. From all of us."

With guilt all over my face, I looked up to Steve, who had hurt written on his face. "I will not lie now Steve. I can have children. I told you the truth before because the KGB did indeed take my ovaries then during the red room experience…" I paused, unsure at Steve's annoyed smirk. He nodded and waited, letting me continue and I did, "However, the reasons why I can have children will have to wait until the truth about the woman in Shuri's lab comes to light. I am under oath with her to keep secrets about her. And the reason I can have children are tired to her. Can you be patient enough to wait until you know her history?"

I made to stand again, and this time Steve let me up this time, clearly letting the issue go for now. Though I could tell he wasn't all the way convinced about my pregnancy or happy about me keeping secrets from him, but he let it go for now. I went to the sink to clean up. He came over and hugged me with strong arms around me from behind. I smiled the best I could with a toothbrush in my mouth, content, despite Steve hindering me from brushing my teeth.

"Are you sure you are alright, Natasha? Is it truly normal for a pregnancy for you to get sick like this?" Steve asked, finally asking the last of his concerns and I understood his fear.

"Yes, Steve. I'm healthy as can be. Besides fainting, morning sickness, and mood swing are all normal. It could be caused by a plethora of factors. With you, I'm sure this pregnancy will go smoothly." I explained. He relaxed finally and smiled at me in the mirror. He released me and went to turn on the shower. I finished brushing my teeth and all when I joined Steve in the shower.

Amelia's POV.

I watched as the young Avengers arrived in the kitchen one by one. Tony and Pepper were surprisingly the first ones to be up, especially with them going to bed last. Tony sat Pepper down at the table and he went to start breakfast for everyone. I silently walked/floated to Pepper and touched her shoulder gently.

She didn't suspect a thing by my touch, but I could tell her thoughts that she felt like someone was watching her. She brushed it off and turned to Tony. I looked to Tony and looked into his mind and I saw worry and fear conquering his thoughts, wondering if he'd be a good father.

I smiled knowing what would bring him easement and comfort. I sent suggestions to Pepper who noticed Tony's gloomy stance as he made breakfast. She stood and went to him, touching his arm gently, "What's wrong, Tony."

"Nothing's wrong, Pep, I'm fine." Tony smiled, a fake smile, as he tried to write it off, though Pepper saw through it.

"Tony, you're slouching, moping around, and you've had a scowl on since we came to the kitchen. Now tell me… What's wrong, Tony?" Pepper pressed into him with a hug.

Tony sighed, knowing he couldn't hide from Pepper, "I'm worried I'm not going to be a good father to our child Pepper. I mean… look at my track record in life the last few years. That's not normal. Besides that, we're not even married yet."

Pepper softened her features, smiling, "Tony, you're going to be a great father. I mean look at Peter. You're practically his father. I feel like we're already making great parents to him at the rate the adoption is going. As for marriage, I…" She stopped in shock as Tony knelt down in front of her. He held her hands in his.

"Then would you, Pepper Potts, be my wife?" Tony asked, shaking, afraid she'd say no.

Pepper's heart skipped, hardly able to breath, at his proposal. Tony worried, asked, "Pepper?"

Pepper nodded vigorously, "Is that a yes?" Tony asked her as he stood.

She all but screamed, "Yes! I will marry you Tony Stark! With all my heart!" She hugged him, kissed him. Tony sighed in relief, elation flowing through him. That's when Peter, MJ, Shuri, Pietro, Clint, and Scott all came waltzing into the kitchen.

"What's all the fuss going on in here, Miss. Potts?" Peter asked.

"Tony asked me to marry him and I said yes!" Pepper shouted, feeling as if she were on cloud nine.

Shuri and MJ shrieked in excitement, racing over to Pepper, chattering like magpies. They lead her away to the balcony to talk about wedding plans.

Scott, Pietro, Clint, and Peter converged on Tony, congratulating him, and helping him to finish cooking and making breakfast. Peter went over and gave Tony a hug, elated that he was finally getting married to Pepper and having a baby girl. Though Tony was uncomfortable with the praise after what happened with the avengers' civil war.

Scott smirked as he cooked the bacon, "Again the billionaire playboy and philanthropist has been roped and tamed."

I smiled, trying to keep my giggles to a minimum, as I watched as the five men set out all the dishes and drinks as Steve, Natasha, Wanda, and James walked out. I looked at Wanda and I gently yet cautiously entered her mind's edge, it was more like pressing against her mind's edge, distant and vague, yet close enough for her to hear me and know I was present,"Good morning Wanda, youngling."

Without skipping a beat and acting natural without giving us away, Wanda responded back, Good morning Amelia. How's it going? She walked over to the table and sat down; Bucky, close behind, sat close to her. She leaned her head on his left shoulder, clearly comfortable with it.

"I am as good as can be in spirit form, Wanda. As for my body, it's still recovering. You did a great job for healing me, but I still need to generate enough energy from light to help with everything and anything." I explained, giggling.

Wanda reached forward and grabbed an apple to eat as she waited for the others to join her and Bucky. Well, those other stones are what we need. I'll speak with Thor and T'Challa about them later.

That's when Bucky chimed in, unintentionally interrupting our private conversation, "Hey Wanda, doll, are you going to speak with the woman in Shuri's lab today like you promised?"

Wanda frowned as she turned to him, "Yes, James. I promised you last night, did I not?"

Bucky smiled, putting his arm around her, "Good. Hey Tony, why are MJ, Shuri, and Pepper still on the balcony? They need breakfast too."

Tony stood, a brow raised that Bucky would treat him nicely, and he went to the door, fetching the women and once they sat down, T'Challa came in announcing Thor's return. Said person wasn't far behind T'Challa. I smiled as the whole group greeted each other. Wanda and Thor greeted each other like siblings, like she was a younger sister to Thor. Though now Thor had a hint of underlying worry to his young, handsome face. Something was terribly wrong for him to be worried in such a way. He joined the others and I watched as the Avengers eat breakfast and clean up.

Afterwards, as the group broke off into groups, I noticed Bucky and Steve glance my way where I was invisible. I frowned, noticing I was near a knife, which metallic or reflective surface could reflect any spiritual light. I moved away quickly. I watched worried as Buck looked over to Steve who understood they both saw a possible glance at me. They stood and walked over to a corner and spoke in a low tone so the others couldn't hear.

I moved towards them, intending to listen. As I approached, I could begin to understand their conversation, not seeing the mirrored tray on the ottoman.

Bucky asked, "…that glimmer against the knife?" He glanced to said object.

Steve nodded, frowning, "That knife was too far from a window to reflect light, Buck. But I did see it. Aside from that it was at a bad angle as well. Something had to cause it."

"I saw the reflection of someone in the metal, Steve. It looked feminine." Buck mentioned.

"I also saw that, but issue is…" Steve stopped as Bucky finished.

"Is that there was no one near the knife or counter it was on." Bucky stroked his beard.

"Do you think Wanda could take a sweep of the room? I…" Steve stopped, seeing a glimmer on the table near them. Bucky saw it as well. I reeled back as they clearly saw my reflection again on the ottoman's mirror for several seconds.

"Did you see her?!" Bucky hissed at Steve, who nodded earnestly, both of them tensing.

"Wanda! We need you to sweep over the room! There's something… or someone… invisible in here!" Steve demanded. Wanda looked my way, momentarily, knowing exactly where I was in the room. Wanda connected with me and asked, panicking, What should I do?!

"Act natural. Play it out and I'll reveal myself at the right moment! Just make sure you are next to me when it comes to that point which you will know." I smiled, encouragingly, even though she couldn't see my smile, she could feel it.

Wanda shut her eyes and spun in a slow circle, hands outstretched and her powers flowing out in all directions, as the other avengers stood at the ready for an attack. Clint came over to Wanda and watched her intently. I walked/floated over to Wanda, carefully, still telepathically connected with Wanda knowing I was there for our plan.

We were standing in the lounge among the couches. Her powers swirled around me in droves, trying to make me appear, yet answered to my will, my power being greater than Wanda's since I gave them to her in directly through the tesseract, the tendrils were unable to make me solidify into a semi-transparent entity. Only when I wanted to be seen would her powers be able to make me solid enough to be seen.

Wanda opened her eyes, looking around the room before stopping at Clint, who I stood next to. "I can feel the presence of another here aside from all you here. I can tell you… she… is somewhere here in the lounge. Right, Amelia?" She smiled as she looked straight at me in the eyes as she let her powers fade away even as they swirled around me, making me visible to everyone.

As I become visible, I kept my eyes locked with Wanda's, causing fearful shock through all there to stare at me. Clint scrambled back onto the couch, tense and fearful. I entered all their minds hesitantly at once to introduce myself, "Hello, my name is Amelia, queen of Reslutia." I then backed out of their minds just as suddenly, as I continued to look at Wanda straight in the eyes.

They all looked to my body as if I would disappear from Shuri's lab. They all then turned back to face me, still in shock. Yet this time, Pepper moaned, hand held to her head. I could tell it was because of the baby and watched helplessly as she fainted. Tony caught her, panicking before he disappeared to take Pepper to their room.

Buck and Steve came and stood near Wanda, both weary, yet curious to know who she was.

Steve's POV.

I couldn't get the huge nagging feeling out of my head as I stared in awe and curiosity at the transparent spirit of the woman named Amelia. She seemed so familiar… So very familiar. I know her from somewhere, but where? And how? I looked to Wanda who approached Amelia with a smile, I see they know each other somehow.

Bucky's POV.

My arm… my metal arm… twitched… actually twitched on its own… and grow shockingly warm, as I usually didn't feel it ever grow warm. It even moved of its own accord, which made me unnerved. I felt it with my real hand, surprised to feel the warmth coming from it. Wanda must have felt my anxiety as she moved over to me with a concerned look.

"Are you alright James? Why is your arm warm?" She asked.

No. I am not fine. And I don't know why to either of your questions. It's as if my arm is reacting to her presence and her voice. Like I said earlier, she's familiar somehow… very familiar… Maybe I met her when I was in HYDRA or before and she imprinted memories in my arm possibly. Perhaps that is why my arm is warm and twitching… I looked to Amelia's spirit form looking at me, smiling.

Thor broke the silence, emotions masked, his face unreadable, "Who are you to appear… Amelia? How are you able to be in spirit form if your body is over there?" Everyone agreed. Thor immediately recognized Amelia, elated beyond relief, though he didn't want to say or reveal anything until later to her in private.

Clint added, "How is it you're unable to wake up Amelia?" He stood, approaching her cautiously.

Amelia walked, or rather floated, over to Wanda and I, reaching out to gently stroke Wanda's check, though her hand passed right through her check. Whatever they spoke about, Wanda nodded, "Yes, you can."

Amelia smiled before she took Wanda's hand in hers. Wanda closed her eyes before seconds later she opened eyes, Wanda's flashing and staying a deep sapphire blue instead of her normal red when she used her powers. When she spoke, it was a blend of Wanda's and Amelia's from earlier, a beautiful, siren voice, "I am Amelia Draconsire, Queen and Keeper of Reslutia, a realm beyond your universe's knowledge. I have powers and abilities I have gained over the centuries to allow me to be able to roam in spirit form from my body without dying. I have a spiritual rope connecting my body to my spirit. In simple terms. As for not waking up… But before I explain…"

Wanda, under Amelia's control, walked over to Amelia's body, Amelia's spirit being dragged along with her. Unnerving blue tendrils of all shade of Wanda's powers with Amelia's leaked from Wanda's scarred fingers. The blue tendrils were eerie, and they floated around of their own accord as Amelia and Wanda interacted. The blue tendrils even made the area feel… calming… I stayed close, everyone following Wanda and I to the lab. Wanda grabbed the necklace from Amelia's right hand I saw a few hours ago when I went to get her from the balcony. The white gemstone swung slightly on its beautiful gold chain.

She looked around the room, holding out the necklace mounted stone, as she continued, "This stone…" She nodded to Tony who joined us before going on, "Is called a Reflection Gemstone. In my world it occurs in legendarily rare amounts, but naturally. It has the ability on its own to discern truth from lies. True lies will turn it pure black. Partial truths or lies will turn it varying shades of gray. And truth will either keep or turn it pure white. I should warn you all though, it shouldn't always be relied on. It can only be used so much before it becomes a crutch, but it should serve its purpose during this session."

As we all listened to Amelia explain to us all what she had explained to Wanda last night, we had moved to the lounge to get comfortable after a while. During it all, we asked questions, Amelia's answers keeping the stone white. Though occasionally, the stone did turn slightly grey, possibly something she didn't yet need or want to reveal. All of us were still in shock, taking in all the information she told us. I sat there deep in thought, How do I know her?

Thor frowned, deep in thought, "It'll take a few days for me to speak with the council of Asgard before I can get the Aether to you, Ame. I'll see what I can do. Wanda… Sif is willing to take you dress shopping with Natasha and your ladies later today if you can hear me." Wanda nodded smiled, her eyes flashing red before they flashed deep blue again.

Thor stood up and looked around, all faces had concerned looks as they watched him. "I'll head back to Asgard to speak with the council now. I'm not sure how many or long it will take, Lady Amelia. Especially with my older sister Hela is threatening Asgard. However, with Loki's help and the help of you all who are able, I'll be able to deal with her. Though with the threat of Amelia being here, Hela will be gone within the day.

"Not only that, but there have also been weird happening inside the city, the Bifrost, and the surrounding towns and villages. The rumors and sightings of shadows moving independent of things and people. I even had a disturbing and urgent report from Heimdall that the portal to Muspelheim activated without permission or movement from him. I'll be back ASAP. Sif! My queen! Where are you, my love?" Thor shouted, even as a hint of worry and concern was on his face.

Sif, a beautiful, dark haired woman of average height, came strolling in with a few of her maids. She stopped chatting, before she addressed Thor like a chastising mother, "Thor, you need to speak quieter in indoor settings."

Thor laughed heartily enough, even though it was muted with his worry over the situations with Hela and the shadows, "There, there my love. These people are friends they do not mind. Anyways, I have to go back to Asgard to speak with the council on a matter of extreme importance. You can bring Wanda and the other women back whenever they decide. Is that fine, love?" Thor kissed the back of her hand.

Sif smirked, snorting in a warrior-like way, "Yes, dear. Just don't be gone too long." She smirked, a twinkle in her eye.

"Thor!" Amelia shouted in all their minds, a surprise to them all at the lack of pain and no warning from her. Only Natasha, Wanda, and Steve remained passive as everyone frowned at her intrusion. Thor turned, looking to Amelia with a frightened frown, eyebrow raised.

"Yes?" Thor asked.

"When you arrive back in Asgard, send these images to her via this piece of technology." Amelia had Wanda walk over and with her own hand touched a recorder and changed it to such a degree that it looked far more advanced than current technology. Thor approached and picked it up, curious.

"What is this?" Thor asked, Tony and Shuri were nearby, curiosity getting the better of them.

"I have been to the 29th century and as a Chronicler dragon, I remember the technology from that era. I even made it into something better. I modified it to be able to project 3D images. There are memories stored with its memory drive. Show them to Hela and you can… do away with her. Thor…" Amelia said gently.

Thor looked up at her, sadness in his eyes as she brought a hand to his check. "When the memories come to light, you will have the abilities to kill her. She cannot be reached. As much as you want to, she never will be saved. Cannot be saved. The best thing to do is to kill her. I know it's not what you want to do nor what I want, but it must be done. She needs to be put to rest. It must be dealt with today. As for the shadows, I will speak with you about them… Alone… Later… Go… Be at peace." Thor nodded slowly. Everyone present had concern now over the situation with the shadows, knowing there was a potential growing threat soon for them to deal with. However, they all collectively put it away for now.

"Very well. Thank you, Amelia." Thor quietly said, pain and sorrow clearly heard in his voice, though he didn't show it. He turned to me, "James, Wanda is getting tired. Make sure you catch her when Amelia separates from her mind."

I nodded, "Thanks for the heads up." Worry laced my voice as I looked to Wanda. She was sweating. I stayed near her.

Thor smiled hauntedly before he disappeared to go to Asgard, he was still holding the modified recorder. Sif and her maids, along with several Asgardian warriors, went to go explore the Wakandan market as Natasha joined Steve and I on the couch. Pietro and Shuri shared the white couch with Peter and Thalia. All four were at a lost to say anything. Sam and Scott sat on the floor looking as if they were trying to consider life itself. Tony was pacing back and forth, just boggled about the situation. Clint stood with Wanda and Amelia in the center of the lounge, a comforting hand on Wanda's shoulder.

T'Challa growled, stroking his chin in thought, "I, like Thor, will need a few days to convince the Wakandan council and the keepers to release the stones, Amelia. Even as powerful as I am here as king, I will need some time. They're dangerous items as you know. But I'm sure I can get them for you. Do not worry."

Tony stopped, "Dr. Strange will be the hardest to contact, Amelia." He looked to Wanda and Amelia, before he turned to pace again. "He's usually away in the universe somewhere. However," He paused considering his thoughts.

"I know a colleague of his residing in New York who would be able to speak with him Amelia. She's called the Ancient One and she goes under the guise of Angie Moriaen. She lives inconspicuously and could speak with him about it." Tony added. Steve stood, relief flooding his face and as well as the others.

"I know of the Ancient One and Dr. Stephen Strange. They along with three others know who I am from when I was here before. I know how dangerous the stones are Tony. Their powers shouldn't be taken lightly or for granted. Ever." The gemstone remained white as Amelia spoke through Wanda.

"Alright, do you have another reflection gemstone? I may need it to convince her fully that I'm telling the truth." Tony stated, despite being resigned to all the news. Though he was excited to talk technology with Amelia once she was awake.

Amelia spoke up through Wanda, "If you go to my body, Tony, I have a ring, my engagement ring, my mate gave me, with a Reflection Gemstone set in it. It's not as big, but it should be as effective. Its presence alone should convince her enough, possibly even to come here. Don't lose it, my husband gave it to me…"

Tony nodded at Wanda and I, still somewhat shell-shocked over all the news. He walked towards to Amelia's body, gently taking off her ring off and placing it on his pinky finger. He quickly walked to the hallway and disappeared. His pilot who flown Pepper here was still had his airplane in the landing area. T'Challa called Shuri over to him and they left to go speak with the Wakandan council about the Space and Power Stones.

Peter, MJ, and Sam decided to go sight-seeing as there wasn't much to do in the lounge midday. Scott decided at the last minutes to join them, leaving Clint, Pietro, Steve, Wanda, Natasha, and I in the lounge with Amelia. Pietro stepped towards Amelia's body, asking her, "What would happen if I placed the Soul Stone with you and your body Amelia?"

"Well, I would gain a much wider range of movement aside from me being a tad more animated than I am now." Amelia spoke through Wanda. I placed an arm around Wanda, as I noticed she was starting to look exhausted, sweat pouring down her face from the use of her powers. She even looked pale. I went closer to her and placed my arm around her waist incase she fell.

Amelia noticed as well, looking to Wanda in concern. Clint crossed his arms, asking, "What about Wanda having the Mind Stone inside her?"

"Since it's infused inside her, she will be the last to join in the circle to wake me up. Meaning it won't be useful until all the other stones are gathered." Amelia spoke quickly.

"What's your range of movement now without any of the stones?" Clint further asked.

"About 25 miles at most without any of the stones, Clint, but with a stone or more it'll exponentially grow. With the curse at least… Without the curse, I could move with an unlimited range. Why?" Amelia again spoke quickly. I growled a tad.

Pietro raced over to Amelia's body before she could get out a word edgewise, taking the Soul Stone from his neck and placed it in her hand, causing her body to jerk and settle in response. I watched in concern, as the soul stone pulsed. Amelia physically moaned. Wanda groaned in pain, her eyes flashing red before going back to normal. Amelia's spirit disappeared, and at that, Wanda immediately fainted. I caught her as she fell, exclaiming, "WANDA!"

Clint, Pietro, Steve, and Natasha surrounded Wanda and I in concern, but we all tensed and jumped in fear when Amelia in Shuri's lab started to scream in pain. Shuri came racing in, scrambling around, taking Amelia's vitals as she moaned in pain, before she started to scream again in spurts. She jerked, shuddered, and convulsed as if she were having a seizure. Her scars shining with black energy, her face twisting in pain, and her hands clutched, blood trickling from the one that held the Soul Stone. I held Wanda close to me, she was still unconscious, as I was at a loss at what to do, panicking. Shuri rushed about her lab as Tony and T'Challa raced in with their faces twisted in concern.

Shuri frowned as she scanned Amelia, who was still screaming and moaning in pain. After several minutes, Shuri slumped in a chair and sighed, "She's just in pain, apparently from her scars… They're causing a massive seizure… Seems that the multiple inputs of pain from all or most of her scars causes a massive seizure and pain signals to go through her, causing her to scream. There's nothing I can do except to keep an eye on her and keep her on the table and away from stuff, so she doesn't harm herself."

T'Challa frowned in concern and left again, without a word, for the council. Tony stood rigid, spooked, "I'm leaving for New York in about ten minutes. I checked on Pepper and she's fine. She just fainted due to the baby. Angie is in New York and I'll be speaking with her once I arrive there in person. She'll know where Dr. Strange is. Perhaps she can also help with Wanda's abilities, or have Dr. Strange to do so."

Steve nodded, "Sounds like a plan Tony. Safe travels to you." Tony nodded thanks in turn, soon disappearing down a hallway. I was at the end of my rope about Wanda when Shuri came over.

Shuri scanned Wanda, noting my anxiety, "She's just asleep, Sergeant Barnes. Seems that using her powers to allow Amelia to use her voice and body exhausted her. She'll be fine, though just let her sleep."

I sighed in relief, carrying my sleeping beauty to our room. I undressed her down to her underwear to be more comfortable before I kissed her forehead and left to join Nat, Steve, and Clint. Pietro went to join Shuri on a tour of Wakanda.

I glanced over to Amelia, who still moaned in pain and cry out occasionally. She still had some convulsions as the seizure wanned. I wish to help her, to take her pain away. She felt familiar, trustworthy, motherly, and that was what made me want to shield her from her pain, yet I could do nothing. I walked over to join Nat, Steve, and Clint in the lounge. I sat next to Steve who clapped me on the back encouragingly. I also felt sadness and self-loathing. When I saw Amelia, those feelings arose in me for some reason.

Natasha cleared her throat, starting, "Clint, have you told Wanda of the good news you have?"

Clint shook his head, looking away, "No, since yesterday was chaotic and Amelia revealed herself this morning, I never got the chance to. I'll do so later when she awakens."

Nat turned to Steve and I, a worried expression on her face knowing not to push Clint, "I can tell without reading minds that you two recognize Amelia. Am I right?"

Steve and I looked at each other before looking to her, curious. Steve spoke first, "Yes… how did you know?"

Natasha sighed, leaning back again the couch, "The reason why you both recognize her is because you've both knew her before and during your super soldier days back during World War II. I couldn't reveal this to you before, but now that you all met her, again. For the very first time… Uh…" Steve and I chuckled at her words, but when she frowned at the two of us, we sobered quickly. Neither Steve, nor I wanted an angry Natasha. Clint remained impassive are her words, thus warranting safety for him. She continued, "I can reveal to that I have known her since she arrived her yesterday."

Steve, Clint, and I were stunned. Natasha knew Amelia all along? Clint burst out, "How?"

"During the last leg of my time as a KGB agent in late 1965, the KGB took into captivity a woman by the name of Amy Hansdotter. That was an alias for Amelia back then, one of her disguises. She's the source of the super soldier serum that HYDRA and the US used to make you two super soldiers. I…"

I shouted, "Say what?! She's the one who created the serum?!"

"No, what I mean… is that as a Chronicler Dragon, Amelia has powers and abilities that cannot be found anywhere else or that are unknown or not easily understood as she mentioned earlier. She has quite a few different proteins in her blood, a few of which were concentrated to create the serum. Those proteins are unknown to most of us. Most of which are unique only to her race. She worked willingly with the US government for over 13 years before HYDRA abducted her and placed her under tortured captivity to get the knowledge about it forcibly in under a year. Though I do know she was in their foul hands for over 25 years."

"Yes… I… I remember a woman with that name. Where do I know that name from?!" Steve wondered in frustration as he rugged his temples, mirroring my own questions and frustration.

Natasha looked to Steve, continuing, "I'll get to that in a moment Steve… After an incident with HYDRA in 1965 after she spent 27 years in tortured captivity with them, she escaped only to be captured by the hands of the KGB where she and I bonded for a year or so against our wills, during those last 2 years I was with them. She became like a mother to me in that time period. She was in captivity along with myself. I, to the best of my ability, got in contact with Peggy, her friend who we all know was Steve's first love, as a double agent. They were also like mother and daughter. Peggy was the one who was Amelia's spokesperson for the serum they developed.

"The US and HYDRA still don't know how she knew how to create the serum, only that she had access to it. That's how you both know her. When she had to leave for her realm, Amelia told me all that we learned today years ago, warned me to not say a word to anyone about it. She made me swear an oath to her to stay silent until she herself could relate what you all learned today herself. That oath prevented me from speaking a word about her until she revealed herself today…

"I personally don't know why she is here, only that it is for something important. Perhaps it has to do with some relatives she has… Hmmm… I wonder… Could it be… them?" Natasha wondered looking up and tapped her chin, her last comment unnerving. Her statement was though provoking and the threat of "them" was not missed amongst the three of us. She had an air of worry and fear go through her that was not missed by Steve, Clint, and I because of the mysterious "them". Though neither Clint nor Steve nor I broached the subject, thought best to leave that subject alone for another time.

"Did she mention how to get our memories back of her?" I asked leaning forward on my knees, Steve nodding in agreement with me.

"Yes. She did. She even told me why she locked away your memories. It is because she didn't want you two to suffer consequences due to your personal knowledge of her. For you Steve, my love, to unlock your memories, you have to touch her, I would assume hold her hand, while you say the word 'Peggy'. And you James, have to say, 'Rebecca'. The words while touching her will unlock your memories. Though I warn you, although I am not you two, the memories I assume will be both good and bad. Come. We can do it right now if you both want to." Natasha stood, walking towards Amelia, who had settled down and was a lot quieter, though she did moan every so often.

Steve and I made eye contact both of us thinking the same thing. I was hesitant as was Steve. We both had memories of Amelia which were locked away. I wanted to know, but I also was afraid of what was unknown about our relationship. Why was I so scared of remembering, yet so eager to do so as well?

Steve and I stood, him going over to Amelia's right arm. Clint came over, yet he remained several feet away to keep watch. I went over to Amelia's left arm, my arm twitching and moving on its own. Natasha, noticed, "Your arm, James, why is it doing that?"

I shrugged, "I don't know Natasha. It's been doing that since Amelia arrived. Perhaps she locked away my memories in my other arm and my new arm remembers her touch. Maybe it's trying to tell me to touch her to help me to remember. I'll use that arm. Steve? On three?" I asked him, glancing at him across the table. Steve nodded, taking Amelia's right hand, "Nat, my love, would you count for us?" She nodded.

When Natasha counted to three, Steve and I spoke, "Peggy,", "Rebecca."

Suddenly, in pain, Steve and I both doubled over, memories flowed through my mind of Amelia, both before and during HYDRA. We both let out yelps of pain. I remembered everything, even the holes and false memories which Wanda couldn't fill, my memories finally being made whole. Amelia was Peggy's friend and confidant, and not just to her, but to Steve and I as well. But what I remembered about her the most is our last two interactions at HYDRA, when we both were under tortured captivity. The second to last interaction made me hate myself.

Horror filled me as I watched in third person as I was being controlled by my handlers. I couldn't control myself as I beat her, whipped her, to test me to become strong. Our final session, I was controlled, unable to fight to prevent myself from harming her. HYDRA had me, instead of whipping her or beating her, they had me, or rather the soldier, rape her.

I helplessly watched in horrified and unbelievable shock. Her eyes, undeniable, deeply empty as she laid there, uncovered, on the ground, her face hopelessly blank as I finished up with her. I watched myself leave uncaring as the soldier was in control, without looking back. Her arms and ankles were chained to the walls and floor though she remained unmoving on the floor, empty looking and empty. Her clothes were in tattered shreds around her, even as a female Nazi scientist rushed in after I had left to dress her. I remembered the nurse had been a spy and was cursing HYDRA and myself at her treatment at their hands.

I remember screaming in my mind that I was a wretched man for taking her and using such a pure soul, yet as a controlled being, I couldn't do anything. The soldier was in control. Yet my final memory of her, was when she had escaped from HYDRA. The day after I had raped her…She had over the twenty-seven years at HYDRA of tortured captivity and 19 years we were in captivity together. 27 years after she was captured, she had stored up enough energy in her diamond lined bones, to literally destroy the facility and escape.

She had broken her chains with raw power, creating a set of clothes made of light, and destroyed much in the HYDRA labs. Running into me as she escaped the compound. I remembered after we fought that she had pinned me down, she was surprisingly far stronger in her human form than I was despite being a super soldier and having a vibranium arm. Obviously, she was a dragon even though I didn't know it at the time of her escape. She created a forcefield surrounding us, stopping time, giving her time to speak to me, the real me under the winter soldier.

*Flashback*

"James Barnes, do you know me?" Amelia asked, a fierce look in her eyes as looked into mine.

I struggled, saying I did not. I grimaced and moaned in terrible pain as she entered my damaged mind, restoring my memories and placing my fractured mind to its original self in moments. I gasped, remembering everything. "How… Why… why do you look at me with happiness? I am a wretched fool! A monster! I raped you Amelia!"

"Yes, I know… But… we both were under tortured captivity by HYDRA… Forced to do things against our wills. Given situations that we both did not want James. In that you still are a good man. You are not the man HYDRA made you to be, but the man that was before HYDRA. You were forced against your will to rape me. Yes, I am… not… pure… anymore, but in the circumstances that we had… I forgive you." Amelia gazed down at me in sympathy, I could hardly believe it. Shame, self-loathing, and self-anger raged through me. I had deflowered her, raped her against her will. Now she wasn't clean. She was despoiled… And I was to blame for it all. Yet… her peaceful control and her gentle command brought my thoughts to a shrieking halt.

"Stop. You are not to blame James. HYDRA forced you to do it. I do not blame you; I blame HYDRA. As I said, I forgive you. With all my heart. I hope you believe me. Until the end of the line." Amelia cried all the while smiling despite that.

I could hardly believe it; how could she forgive me for what I did to her. I tried to change the subject, "How can I just forget you Amelia? You were the one good thing I had in HYDRA. You became my light. My star to bring me back to sanity. Now I raped you. How can I protect you further if I can't fight control? How can you forgive me? This wretched, broken monster of a man?!"

"I know right now at present you can't fight the control HYDRA has over you. I cannot help you at present as I am too weak to help as I only have enough to allow myself to escape. But to help you later, I want to store away your memories of me. In your arm. As much as I want you to remember me, I do not want, cannot have you suffer the consequences if it was found you knew of me, James. If it was known that you purposely allowed me to escape, you would suffer greatly.

"I don't want that to happen. Until I have someone somewhere along the way to tell you how to unlock those memories, I will lock them away. I just want you to know I forgive you James, with all my heart, even if it means to the end of the line. Do not forget that I love you, youngling. My son and friend. Besides… I was never pure to begin with." Amelia looked at me sadness filling her eyes.

I wanted to cry, yet if I did, I knew I'd be a mess, a manic that would go on a rampage. I nodded in agreement, giving her permission to lock away my memories. She gently kissed my forehead, which still amazingly shocked me, she did it in a tender mother like fashion.

As she locked the memories away, I forgot about her, only remembering that she was someone important that I knew I should not harm. Yet as she escaped, my handlers raged at me, controlling me to try to capture her. I failed, both elated that this woman, who I did not know, escaped, and annoyed that she gotten away.

*End Flashback*

I went wide eyes at Amelia, stumbling back and barely able to hold myself up on the nearby table, shame, self-loathing, and self-anger running though me. How could she forgive me for raping her? Beating her? For whipping her. Harming her so much she bled? And she forgave me? Why? How could she?! I noticed that Steve was crying, hugging Natasha who was doing her best to comfort the broken man. Yet I didn't really register it. I didn't care. I was too emotionally raw with the newly restored memories.

"Oh god… oh god…" I whispered raggedly, falling to my knees as I stared in horrified memory at Amelia.

I am such a wretched man; I couldn't even protect the one I wanted to protect the most during my time when I was being tortured to become a super soldier for HYDRA. I screamed in pain before I raced out of the room, Clint calling after me, but I couldn't hear him amongst the thoughts and feelings of shame and self-loathing for what I had done, during the sound of raging hate against myself.

I reached the roof top of the palace, where I raged on and on in anguish, only falling to my knees after an unknown while, uncaring to whoever saw me.

~Ragnar's POV…~

I walked through the gateway to the realm of the Valkyries, towards the Light Spirit's Spring with a few hundred corrupted Twilight beasts. These Valkyries made moves to defeat me; however, my army was too strong, and the Valkyries couldn't fight shadows, several scores were killed. As I approached the Light Spirit, he tried his best to stave off my army, though he was soon overwhelmed, trapped in a cage of shadows.

I sneered at him and growled, "Are you also going to grovel and tell me of Amelia's graces?"

The Light Spirit sighed, nodding, "Ragnar, I know you've been hurt, betrayed in a proverbial way, by Amelia. But please, know the truth, she did it to try to lessen the blow that if it had been thrust upon you suddenly, you would have completely collapsed and killed yourself. She loves you, Josiah."

I raged, "NO! DO NOT SAY THAT NAME! I am not that name that she gave me!" I cursed at the name before continuing, "I will deal with for face to face for how she so callously chose to tell me!" I shattered the Light Spirit to pieces, leaving him a shade of himself and his light scattered across the realm. I raged as I left the realm covered in Twilight, as beautiful and helpless as Muspelheim.

Oh dear… now James and Steve have memories they both know are good and bad. And James is raging about it all.
