Today was the big day. And Bruno would be damned if he would let anything go wrong or let his bad luck get in the way.

Not today! This day was about Julieta. And Bruno more than anything wanted Julieta's day to be perfect.

And so Bruno did his best as he discarded his usual Ruana in his closet and put on his new suite instead.

The suite was in a delicate light blue color. Felix had gotten one too that matched while Agustin's wedding suite was mostly white with just some light blue accents.

It was a very nice looking suite. Alma had made sure of that. But already Bruno missed his Ruana. He liked his big Ruana he could basically hide inside. And pull up his hood whenever he wanted to put a barrier between himself and the people of the town.

And today he was going to be a centerpiece in the middle of it all… And he had no Ruana to hide inside.

Even his sandals were swapped out for dress shoes, which seemed sort of tight. And then finally Bruno pulled back his curly hair into a ponytail to the best of his abilities.

So now… His face was fully exposed.

Still though a few curls just refused to agree with him and worked themselves out of the ponytail making Bruno frown annoyed. "No! Today you behave!" he said just as a little squeak sounded from the nightstand.

"Thank you, Sofia. That means a lot." Bruno smiled at his rat friend.

The rat stood up on her hind legs gesturing at Bruno.

"No! Not today Sofia!" Bruno lectured. "See! No Ruana! I don't have any pockets to put you in. And you are not allowed anywhere near tables with food. You know that. Today. You are going to stay right here!" he pointed down at the ground.

The rat hung her head and Bruno sighed.

"Sorry." Bruno shook his head as he headed to one of his shelves and pulled down one of the boxes. "It's just… Nothing can go wrong today. We all need to be on our best behavior." he said as he opened the box and pulled out a full grain biscuit that he handed to the rat.

At once Sofia just grabbed the biscuit with her little rat paws and then started to nibble at it in the most adorable manner making Bruno smile as he replaced the lid on his box and then returned the box.

Just as he had pushed the box back in place Bruno eyed an ominous green glow from the floor and Bruno looked down to see the vision from the other night glowing right up at him.

Bruno groaned deeply. "No. Not today!" he stated as he kicked the jade slab under his bed and then kicked some sand over it just for good measure so even the glow was hidden.

Bruno offered the unwanted vision a final little huffed. Straightened out his jacket and finally left his room. Making sure to close the door tight so Sofia wouldn't get out.

Then Bruno hesitated a bit only to walk a few steps to the left and knocked gently on Julieta's door. "It's me," he said. "Can I come in?"

Bruno waited a few seconds for a response and then finally opened the door to see his sister sitting inside in her wedding dress while Alma was arranging her hair.

Pepa was next to them barely able to keep back her tears as a cloud was over her head.

"Pepa," Alma warned her second daughter. "You'll ruin your dress."

"I'm sorry I just… This is actually happening isn't it?" Pepa sniffed as she pulled out a handkerchief.

Bruno's eyes widened and quickly he rushed inside as he grabbed a tray from the counter and just managed to place it between Pepa and her own cloud shielding Pepa and her delicate blue dress from the rain while Pepa blew her nose.

Julieta smiled amused then looked at Bruno who kept the tray in place. "Hello, Hermano. You look very handsome today." she complimented.

"Oh. Thank you." Bruno looked at his sister sitting in a white dress. Her dark hair was beautifully arranged with flowers in it and Bruno halted. "Wow you're beautiful," he replied and Julieta smiled warmly while Pepa cried.

"Thank you," Julieta whispered.

Now Alma looked at Bruno and she sighed exasperatedly. "Brunito."

Bruno blinked at his mama as she stood up and then started to brush off Bruno's suite. "You're full of sand!" she reprimanded him. And then started to fix his hair too trying to get the sand out of it while Bruno was stuck keeping Pepa safe from her own cloud.

Eventually, though Pepa reached up her hands so she could hold the tray herself. Freeing Bruno to stand up and for Alma to go to work.

"It's everywhere." Alma huffed. "How did you manage that Brunito?"

"That's kind of how my room is." Bruno pointed out and Alma sighed deeply as she was in front of him and then straightened out his jacket for him.

Alma frowned deeply as she looked him over for specks of sand she might have missed. Her eyes traveled over Bruno's body until it, at last, ended at his face and Alma halted… She just stopped.

"Mama?" Bruno asked.

Then Alma smiled lightly. "Forgive me. You're just such a handsome young man," she said.

Bruno blinked and then Alma cleared her throat.

"Excuse me," Alma said. She straightened Bruno's jacket out one last time. Padded him on the chest and then finally headed out while pulling out a white handkerchief to wipe her eyes. "All grown up," she whispered as she exited the room and the door closed after her.

Bruno blinked as he looked at the door his mother had left through and then looked back at his sisters.

Julieta smiled amused. "You know what they say. Even if parents insist they have no favorites. They always do."

Bruno blinked confused. "That would be… You Julieta. Right?" he asked.

"Stupido." Pepa hit Bruno over the head with a hand.

It didn't hurt. It was a playful little hit and Pepa smiled amused as she removed the tray now that her little cloud had stopped raining.

"How is your head?" Julieta asked Bruno switching the subject.

"Huh?" Bruno asked and then suddenly realized what Julieta meant. His headache from the other evening. "Oh! Oh, it's much better! I suppose all I needed was some sleep. Heh heh. Nothing to worry about!" he smiled nervously as he put his hands behind his back and crossed his fingers where his sisters couldn't see that was what he was doing.

…. Stupid prophecy!

Both his sisters looked oddly at him but then obviously decided to dismiss his behavior.

"So erhm… How are you feeling Julieta?" Bruno asked.

"I'm… Kind of nervous." Julieta admitted as she bit her lip. "I just keep thinking that maybe… Agustin won't show up. Or the ground just breaks and swallows us up. Weird right?"

Bruno really didn't want to comment on that at all, the image of a crack in the wall only to be too real in his mind. Then Bruno shoveled the image aside, pulled up a chair so he could sit down between his sisters, and look at Julieta.

"You don't have anything to worry about," Bruno said firmly. "Agustin loves you so much. He was willing to get himself stung by bees just to see you for a few seconds."

"Heh… Yeah. That was kind of stupid of him wasn't it?" Julieta asked.

"Yeah." Bruno agreed just as Pepa sniffed and Bruno smiled as he wrapped an arm around his emotional sister making the cloud disperse even before it got a chance to rain again. "You okay there Pepa?" Bruno asked amused padding her lightly on the back.

"Uhu." Pepa nodded and sniffed. "I… I'll make sure you'll get a sunny wedding day. So-Sorry! Just give me a minute. Clear thoughts." she closed her eyes. "Clear thoughts. Clear thoughts!" she gasped.

"Pepa," Bruno said. "Remember what you told me yourself. Sometimes you just need to… Let it out."

"I can't do that today! It's Julieta's wedding day." Pepa gasped.

"Pepa! I'll rather have a rainy wedding day where you are happy than a sunny wedding day where you are upset!" Julieta stated. "It's my wedding. And I want my family to enjoy it!"

"Come on Pepa." Bruno encouraged. "Just let it out. I won't tell Mama."

"I'll ruin my dress!" Pepa swallowed and Bruno smirked as he stood up. Walked to Julieta's closet where he pulled out three umbrellas. Walked back and handed one out to each sister so now they each had an umbrella.

Pepa sniffed as she looked at Bruno.

"Better here than at the wedding itself right?" Bruno asked.

And then Pepa just opened her mouth and cried as there was an indoor rainfall. But the triplets were kept safe by the umbrellas.

"There you go. Just let it out." Bruno smiled amused padding Pepa on the back.

"So-Sorry." Pepa sniffed.

And Julieta chuckled. "Not at all! This just wouldn't be right without something like this!" she laughed. "I want my family at my wedding. Not some… marionette dolls. Also… This rain is lovely." she glanced up as she smiled.

Bruno smiled as he looked at Julieta while he kept holding Pepa and padding her on the back.

"Hermana," Bruno whispered.

"Yes." Julieta looked at him.

"I just… I want you to be happy. You know?" Bruno asked. Then he swallowed as his own eyes got a little teary. "Whatever happens. I want you to be happy. I love you you know."

And Julieta sniffed as she swallowed. "I know," she whispered. "And I love you… Both of you. Thank you for being here."

"JULIETAAAA!" Pepa cried loudly as she dived forward to hug her sister. "I love you too!" she cried. "And you!" she grabbed Bruno's sleeve to pull him into the group hug so now all three siblings could hug.

Of course… The rush had made all three of them drop their umbrellas and now… They were wet.

Bruno couldn't help but chuckle as he stood up while wiping his eyes. "Oh Mama is going to chew us out," he commented.

Julieta shrugged. "It's just water. She can manage."

And Pepa giggled as the clouds dispersed and heat rose in the room as if the sun was shining in and all the three triplets were laughing.

Soon after Bruno was walking Julieta down the aisle as promised. She was clinging to his arm and Bruno gave her an encouraging smile and then finally… As they were next to Agustin and Bruno had to let go. He felt a big lump in his throat too. But sat down on his chair now sitting between Alma and Pepa.

Pepa was crying into her handkerchief and Felix was holding an umbrella over her head to shield her from the cloud.

Thankfully though the rain wasn't covering the entire church. It was a very controlled little cloud.

Alma was crying too as she kept wiping her eyes with her handkerchief and then finally Bruno put a hand on his mother's shoulder. Keeping it there gently while Agustin and Julieta exchanged vows. Put rings on each other's fingers and finally, they kissed to a great cheer in the entire church while Bruno could finally exhale a breath of relief.

The wedding had not been ruined! Nothing had happened! The ceremony had been beautiful. And silently Bruno thanked god while he kept padding his mama on the shoulder. Just thankful that the world hadn't ended.
