Momonga has been worried ever since he learned he had a child on the way. He had no experience even close to being a father. He had no younger brother or sister he has cared for. He didn't know how to raise a child right.
He took great care of Albedo, despite her being a level 100 warrior, he worried over her constantly. He stayed with her all day, not that it was a major change from before. His plans of exploration were put on hold and he decided that he would explore the world himself only when the child was an adult. He even imagined himself exploring the new world with his child.
Instead of going himself for the time being, Momonga summoned Hanzos using Yggdrasil's gold and sent them out on his behalf. He instructed them to map the new world and notify him of anything that might be of interest such as valuable resources like rare ores, rare creatures or beings able to somehow sense the Hanzos.
Momonga was both worried and expecting while spending time with Albedo. He was almost impatient. He knew women pregnancy lasted 9 months. But that was back in his world. Here, he had not yet confirmed how long it took to humans. Also, Albedo was a succubus, a devil grotesque not a human so he had no mean to know how long it took them. He even tried to look into the matter with the Yggdrasil's monster Encyclopedia but there was not such information about succubus. It didn't even mention that they could get pregnant. If Peroroncino had been around, he certainly would know.
Momonga who had not much experience with women but he at least knew a few things he could and should do. Back in his world, people married and lived together, then had children. A few members of Ainz Ooal Gown were married people and some had children. Momonga decided to make his relationship with Albedo official. He talked to her about it and soon regretted his decision if only a little. He had envisioned himself and Albedo along with a few people around to witness their union: what he thought was the norm for marriages back on earth. Instead, it spiraled into a grand ceremony that lasted 10 days. Albedo was so delighted by the idea of officially becoming his wife that she made preparation at an unbelievable speed that he had trouble following up. She came up with so many things, details ranging from their attire to the decoration and the attendees. Momonga just followed her and complied. She was so happy, almost wearing a smile brighter than usual, that he said yes to everything.
Eventually, things went smoothly and he was married. Well, to be precise, Albedo had become his Empress. Given that he ruled a vast and still expanding territory, he had to come up with a name for the territory he ruled. He had brainstorming sessions with Albedo, Osiliad and the representatives of the races under his rule. Momonga's ideal nation was one where all races lived together in peace and harmony. He wanted a name to reflect the idea of a utopia coming to life: something unique. The name of the Empire was decided to be Arcadia.
Momonga became an Emperor. He who was an ordinary salary man was now the ruler of hundred thousands of lives. He who had no girlfriend, had gained a beautiful and loving woman and they were expecting a child. When Touch-Me, his old guild mate told him about his family, he sensed joy in his voice but he couldn't understand it at the time. Now he could and his emotional suppressing ability was working more than ever. He could also understand why Ulbert hated Touch-Me because he thought he was winning in life. He had become a winner too and could understand why those who had no access to his joy would be jealous.
When Albedo gave birth, Momonga felt joy, curiosity and a hint of worry. The delivery in itself went without a hitch. He had assembled about 30 people with skills to help Albedo. It proved unnecessary as they didn't have much to do in the end. Momonga himself was the most anxious and afraid despite not experiencing his wife's labor. What he was worried was the look of the child. When he was transformed and impregnated Albedo, he looked a lot like a human despite being an undead Overlord and his wife was a devil succubus, so what race would the child be from? A grotesque: a demon or an undead? A human? This had long been on his mind but he did his best not to worry about it but now he would know. As a member of an immortal race, he didn't want his child to be of a mortal or from a short lived race. Not wanting to survive one's children was a common worry among parents but to immortals, it was more unbearable than to mortals.
He took his newborn nervously from Albedo's hands and looked at the child.
"A girl." He said aloud.
She had a small frame, an angelic sleepy face and on her back, tiny protrusions: wings. She seemed to have inherited her mother's race.
"I think it's a succubus like you Albedo."
"Oh!" she exclaimed before adding quietly "I'm not quite sure."
Momonga named her Ariel. He was renowned in his guild for having bad taste in names, so he carefully studied potential names and discussed them with Albedo way before she gave birth.
Momonga didn't have much experience on how to raise children but relied on what he knew from members of Ainz Ooal Gown experiences. There was what he knew Touch-Me and his child did, what Yamaiko as a teacher believed was the best education system. At the same time, he didn't want to overburden his child. So only once Ariel was able to speak properly, did he allow Albedo to impart her knowledge to her. As for his part, he did his best to play with her. He had to come up with games he remembered from earth.
He played tag and hide and seek with her. They had fun all around the Palace in the capital of Arcadia. He bought tons of toys manufactured in Arcadia. He even crafted new ones for his daughter. He told her stories of his adventures in the game of Yggdrasil with his friends, some mythologies of the game lore and so on. His child was lovely and growing fine.
While growing up, Momonga realized that Ariel was not a succubus like her mother but an angel. Once she was 16, Momonga started teaching his daughter about the knowledge he had from Yggdrasil and real life. He used his Encyclopedia to show her Yggdrasil's monsters and the knowledge he had on them. He told her about his classes and races that existed in the game, about his experience in the earth of 2138. He made long lectures on PKing and PKKing strategies using Punitto Moe's guide. He also started showing her magic spells he knew and had her try to reproduce them. The Overlord Wiseman was tasked with helping her in magic study.
Natives of this world were unable to learn tier magic and even wild magic was difficult for them but his daughter had no trouble with it. She was talented even. Momonga had acquired the magic spells he could use from Yggdrasil's game mechanism, not by learning and practicing them himself. The Overlord Wiseman for his part was created that way. But Ariel learned tier magic from the ground up. All Momonga and the Overlord Wiseman did was show Ariel the spells and have her try to reproduce them. It took her 4 years before she could cast her first spell but from then, she acquired spells with ease. Sadly, she couldn't learn any wild magic even with the efforts of Osiliad who taught her.
By the time she was physically strong enough, Albedo and the Grim Reaper taught her warrior techniques too. Momonga had come to understand that acquiring levels and skills in the New World wasn't only about killing monsters and acquiring experience points. Even by practicing or sparing, one could acquire levels and skills. Sadly, none of his summons nor Albedo could progress anymore, their levels seemed set. But Ariel born in this world was able to progress and she was progressing even faster than Momonga. She seemed better suited at being a warrior than a caster.
Since Momonga acquired levels in Fighter and Fencer, he had only got the Armored Mage, Commander and Ruler classes. If he had to give a rough idea, it looked something like:
Fighter Lv. 7
Fencer Lv. 6
Armored Mage Lv. 5
Commander Lv. 2
Ruler Lv. 3
Some of his old classes like Necromancer had level upped too. So he was now level 129 or so. But his daughter was a real genius. Since she started training at 16, she had progressed faster than he had since coming to this world. Each time she acquired a new class or a level she came to him and her mother to get praised. At the age of 50 her levels looked like that:
Race Levels
Angel Lv. 10
Archangel Lv. 3
Class Levels
Fighter Lv. 7
Knight Lv. 7
Lance Master Lv. 7
Guardian Lv. 3
Cleric Lv. 5
Wizard Lv. 8
Armored Mage Lv. 3
She was already level 53 and still had an infinite growth potential. Momonga was convinced that as a native to this world, she wouldn't be hindered by Yggdrasil's level cap. Ariel was also a versatile character, allying close quarter and long range abilities. She was a decent mage and a great fighter. She had tried diverse weapons before setting on the lance and had acquired levels dedicated to using that weapon. She also had more MP and HP than a level 53 player could possibly have, even a specialized warrior or mage would have less.
Ariel was growing up just fine. Albedo was doing well too. She had grown way outside her setting. She was getting less and less disgusted by outsiders in general and humans in particular. At least, she had grown to be really caring for the people Momonga ruled. She showed genuine interest in matters pertaining to their well-being, often dealing with those matters personally rather than leave it to Osiliad.
As for Arcadia, it was now a vast Empire. Its population comprised more than 30 races of subhumans, humans and grotesques. Its total population neared 6 million. The expansion had stopped and the borders were clearly defined. A Great Wall extended at the entrance to Arcadia and its territory ended by the sea. The races living in Arcadia had started mixing with each other, a sign that harmony was achieved. In the beginning, most races, if not all, kept to themselves. A few subhumans collaborated and lived next to each other but that was all. For years, humans kept to themselves, as did subhumans and grotesques. Now, it was a common sight to see those races living in houses next to one another. Cities designed for humans only had to be remodeled to accommodate other races. Momonga's utopia was a reality.
When Ariel reached level 60, Momonga added real combat to her training. Father and daughter travelled their dominion to hunt wild monsters. Then Momonga started using summoned monsters for her to gain experience. He started with undead of the middle-tier, then demons of the same levels. Next he used high tier undead and demons.
Ariel was talented and progressed fast. The only problem so far was her equipment. Momonga had few powerful spare equipment for his daughter. Back in Yggdrasil, he would just collect materials and use the creation tool kit to create equipment for her but he couldn't in this world. All the equipment useful to Ariel Momonga had were mainly Relic class, two tiers lower than Divine class, the highest available. His daughter was about to reach level 85 but she still had the equipment of level 70s players. That slowed her progress a little. Only a little because, even at her level she could take on undead and demons 2 to 5 levels higher than herself. Her physical stats were already on par with level 90s characters.
Being an angel, it seemed her skills had developed to match her racial abilities. She had a very good karma value and had acquired the Holy Knight class. The only other person with that class Momonga knew was Touch-Me, the pure-silver holy knight. His daughter's abilities were similar to Shalltear Bloodfallen, their guild base first three floors guardian created by his friend Peroroncino. She was an all-rounder, a highly capable close quarter fighter and a good caster. No matter how he looked at it, his daughter was a genius. She also had a compassionate and caring personality befitting an angel.
Since she had reached a high level, Momonga left her some space and allowed her to wander Arcadia to her heart's content. Time seemed to have passed fast. Since the age of 50, Ariel's physical appearance hadn't changed. She looked a lot like her mother. Their height was the same. She had inherited her rationality and intelligence. Her wings were pure white, her hair golden blonde. Her face had a western beauty close to how Momonga looked when he used {Change Form}. Her eyes were a deep purple.
Ariel was atop a Soul Eater somewhere near Arcadia's border. She could see the great wall that had been erected to signify the border between the Empire's territory and the outside world. She looked admiringly at the wall or rather at what laid besides the wall: the unknown. The stories of her father's adventures with his friends back in Yggdrasil and with her mother in this world were vivid in her mind. She wanted to explore the world like them but she still couldn't.
She was 175 years old but her parents still saw her as their little girl. The most liberty she got those past 50 years was permission to go explore Arcadia, the territory her father ruled, alone. Before then, she had to be accompanied by her father or high level guards. But even when the guards weren't escorting her, she knew ninja-type monsters were tailing her from afar. Her father also had the Mirror of Remote View he could use to keep an eye on her. She knew they worried about her well-being and loved her but she wanted to have more freedom too.
Some 20 years ago, she brought the subject up, asking for permission to go outside of Arcadia but was denied. Her father took a look at her abilities and levels and told her to wait until his Hanzos were done exploring the world for threats. How long that would take? She didn't know. What her father feared the most was World Enemies. He had confronted one in this world and knew they existed. She wanted to tell him that he was a bit paranoid. So far, the Hanzos had mapped most of the world and found almost any entity stronger than them and reported to her father. None seemed to be as strong as the dragon Emperor but she couldn't say for sure that he had killed the sole dragon this strong. After all, Osiliad, a dragon she knew since her birth had been getting stronger just by living. It wouldn't be impossible for a dragon that has lived 300 or 500 years to be out there. But that was precisely the reason she wanted to explore the unknown. She wasn't suicidal enough to fight a World Enemy class monster head on, but she wanted to see dragons and other powerful unknown entities for herself. The only dragons she knew was Osiliad and his children that were still dragonlings.
She wanted to explore the outside world and discover new creatures, species and places. She already knew Arcadia better than anyone. That's how much time she had spent exploring the Empire thoroughly. Each time she went out of the Palace on a journey, she ended it near the wall separating her from her dream. Today was the same except she made up her mind.
I'll ask father again and if he doesn't allow me, I'll go outside no matter what.
She returned to the Capital with her resolve firm. Once at the gates, she left her Soul Eater with a Death Knight and flew to the Palace. She was so popular in the Arcadia Empire in general and in the Capital in particular that she couldn't walk within the city without attracting people that came to see her for themselves. She was even more popular among the citizen's than her parents. That was mainly because her angelic appearance was more appealing to them than her father's undead appearance or her mother's demonic features. She didn't really get why the three of them were viewed differently despite all being grotesques races. A religion worshiping her was even born and was the most popular of all the religions within Arcadia. Even more widespread than those about worshipping her parents or Osiliad.
She landed in the training grounds of the Palace then took the way to the Throne Room. She passed the numerous undead guards without looking at them. When she was younger she had tried to start conversations with them but now she knew that only a handful of undead, even among high levels ones, could speak. None of those guard could. They were just positioned here for show. She had put her ring on to suppress her aura. She had to be careful with some of her passive abilities too or she might accidentally purify the undead guards. They certainly knew her given their link with her father or one of her father's subordinate.
Upon passing the double doors of the Throne Room, she scanned it for her father. He wasn't on his throne. She looked at a door near the throne. It was where her father or her mother usually worked. She knocked at the door ignoring the kneeling Death Emperors placed on either side.
"Come in Ariel. I was expecting you." Came the voice of her father.
I knew it. She just thought. Her father had certainly been observing her via his Mirror.
"Father, I have a favor to ask." She started upon entering before taking the seat in front of him. She sensed her father inexistent eyebrows raise. She could read his emotions and face as if he had used transformation and had flesh on it. Her mother seemed to be the same but at a lesser degree.
"What is it about?"
"I would like to go out of the Empire. I want to explore the world beyond the wall."
He placed his hand to his chin for a moment. This was the gesture he did when he was pondering the pros and cons of something. After he reached his answer, he replied.
"Alright. I'll allow it. Guess I should stop holding you back now."
"I intend to go no matter what you... Huh!? What did you just say?" she had started to complain as she had already expected him to be against the idea before his words sank in her mind.
"Oh! Surprised. I agree. You are a big girl now even if you'll forever be my little girl. So I should let you taste freedom. So go explore the world to your heart's content and then return to us."
"You are not joking right? Or are there several conditions attached to it? I won't accept any escort you know? Not even people to tail me in the shadows."
"I won't do anything like that. I promise. I will just keep an eye on you with this." he pointed to his Mirror.
"Alright thank you father."
"Just be careful out there. Other than natives of this world, some beings from Yggdrasil seem to have appeared in this world as I did. That was some 87 years ago I think but they are certainly still around. They were high level so I couldn't investigate too much with the Hanzos."
"I'll be careful. I still have knowledge of PK and PKK tactics, plus I'm an experienced fighter too."
"I won't interfere with your adventure. I trust you. You are over level 100 already. I know you are strong and that you'll stay conscious. Besides, this will be a good experience to you Ariel. You'll put all the knowledge you got to a better use than by just touring Arcadia where you are familiar with almost everything."
"Yes!" she answered energetically.
"Good to hear. You can never be too careful. Now then, when are you leaving? Won't you stay with us a few years before departing?"
"I have some preparation to make so I will leave once it's done. Maybe in five years."
Time sure flows differently when you are busy doing something you like. To Ariel, her conversation with her father happened just the day before but it has been years since then. She had remained with her parents five years as she had promised before leaving. She had started her exploration of the world outside some 30 years ago. Usually, she rode a Soul Eater to explore Arcadia rather than fly or teleport to places she already knew. This way, she discovered the territory under a new light each time she passed by. Now, however, she was flying.
She had her Infinite Backpack where she stored potions, scrolls, food, water and clothes. She also had equipped the armor her father gave her back when she was level 80. When she was about to leave her father gave her his Yggdrasil monsters Encyclopedia telling her to take notes of monsters and beings she encountered as part of her exploration course. Her mother for her part gave her some of her finest clothes and her World Item. She even wanted her to equip her armor but she refused. For starters, her mother's armor was better suited for defense than for her fighting style. The armor she had on mainly protected her upper body from her torso up. It allowed for a better mobility. She had some defense oriented levels and skills too but she was better at offense.
So far, she had yet to encounter any dangerous opponents. She was mainly attacked by wild flying monsters she easily dispatched. She often stopped at places that caught her attention to explore them with care or encountered dragons weaker than Osiliad who should be around level 100 by now. She sometimes spotted human's and subhuman's settlements but didn't stop by for long, 5 years at best. Most of the humans almost begged her to stay with them but she couldn't. The subhumans for the most part either hid from her when she landed in their settlements or started shooting at her when she tried to approach from above. Other than that, she mainly flew over only landing at night for a break and to sum up what she had learned so far. Her routine remained so for years more.
Her exploration was going fine until she spotted a huge explosion in the horizon. She decided to head that way to investigate because she knew the nature of that spell: Super-Tier.
In Yggdrasil, more than a thousand guilds existed. Most guilds had guild bases but there was a great disparity between said bases. Some guilds had just a rented base. Others had cities as bases. The most powerful guilds had conquered Guild Base-Type dungeon and used them. A guild ranking depended on its member's strength, the items they possessed and the nature of the base they occupied.
The beings that would later be known as the Eight Kings of Avarice were members of a guild ranked among the top 50 guilds. To begin with, most of their members were power gamers who sought power at any cost. Their characters build were efficient, well rounded and powerful. Secondly, they had amassed a lot of powerful items. They had a great Guild Weapon whose power surpassed divine tier equipment. Moreover, they had managed to find and possessed two of the only 200 World Items of Yggdrasil. Finally, their guild occupied Eryuentiu, a Floating-City. This was their guild base.
Since 8 members of their guild had been transported to the new world along with their guild base, they set off to explore their surrounding and understand what had happened. Then they discovered that this world's level of power was ridiculously low. From then, the 8 of them set off to conquer the world. Their plan was simple: exterminate the most powerful species of this world then rule over it as their successors. Their primary targets were dragons, mainly dragon lords who ruled over many species and had large territories. To battle particularly powerful dragons or groups of dragons, two of them sometimes teamed up temporarily.
Their progress had been going well. They had slain any who opposed them so far, even a grotesque undead player who tried to stop them. They already ruled over vast territories but still wanted more. It had turned out to be a contest for the favors of the only female of their group. The 7 male players wanted to gain her favor and to do so, they wanted to acquire as much territory for themselves as possible.
On one occasion where two of the 8 were fighting a group of dragons, something unexpected happened.
Momonga's daughter had set off to explore the world. For his part, he had enough information. He had long since lost interest in the outside world. All his Hanzos did those past years was keep a warming net around Arcadia to notify him of any threat. All that was important to him now was his family and his people. He no longer sought to discover the unknown or to get more power. He spent long hours each day observing Ariel through the Mirror of Remote Viewing. Sometimes, his wife, Albedo joined him. His family was alive and healthy. Albedo was happy with him. Ariel was enjoying herself exploring the world. She had been doing it for more than 50 years now. She sometimes teleported back to say hello or sent them a [Message]. Arcadia, the paradise he had created for all races was a success. Humans, elves, subhumans and grotesques were living in happiness and perfect harmony side by side. Momonga was satisfied.
However, his peaceful daily life was abruptly cut. His Hanzos had reported him of two high level individual that were getting near the Great Wall of Arcadia. Momonga used his Mirror to get a clear view of them. From their gear, he knew they were players. He couldn't know their equipment's data capacity, but certainly Legendary at the very least. They seemed to be warriors. Who should I send? Momonga searched for suitable opponents for the two warriors. Most of his summons were level 70 at best and wouldn't last long except if he sent a great number but he would lose some of them in the process.
Tsk. He was annoyed by it. His emotions were suppressed for the first time in a long while. But his irritation still remained. Maybe I should vent my irritation on them? At that thought, he pounded the merits and demerits. He would win for sure if he sent a great number of subordinates but he would lose a few. Finding corpses to use for High Tier undead wasn't impossible but it would take time or he will have to kill beings he had not grudge against. If he went personally, there was no loss. He eyed the two warriors one more time and saw something that decided the matter.
"Alright. Albedo, I'm going out for a second. [Gate]"
"See you soon my love."
As soon as he exited the [Gate], he began attacking. He already knew who those beings where and what they had done so far. They had conquered many countries nearby and slain dragons and tons of subhumans. If they were here now, it was for one reason: conquest. I won't let you get any closer to my country and citizens. Besides, your armors will be a fine present for Ariel.
[Dimensional Lock] he cast a spell to prevent their escape
[Triplet Maximize Magic: Reality Slash] assaulted the one with the lance then [Triplet Maximize Magic: Vermillion Nova] burned the one with the sword. The pain from the attack damage made them incapable to react or move for a moment. That's one of the inconvenience of playing a humanoid character. As an undead, my pain is suppressed automatically to a bearable degree.
[Triplet Maximize Magic: Call Greater Thunder] [Maximize Magic: True Dark] the second wave of attack further depleted his opponents HP. He didn't need to use [Life Essence] to find out. He just knew it. Magic was the most destructive depending on the caster's ability and Momonga was a great caster. In the past, he would have evaluated himself as among the 5 best caster of his guild. In terms of firepower he would be among the 10 best. But as he was now, he allied great casting ability and high destructive power. He had transcended the level cap of Yggdrasil after all.
[Create Greater Item] Momonga created two swords to get this over.
The two fighters had finally regained their senses after experiencing intense pain successively. Momonga parried the attacks of one of them ignoring what little damage the other was doing. He focused on the warrior with the lance. He had trouble parrying Momonga's two sword swings with his lance. Momonga had started with a slow rhythm before abruptly increasing the speed at which he swung. The lance on his opponent hands dropped with a ting! While Momonga severed his head.
Witnessing his companion headless body, the other tried to distance himself from Momonga. But his speed was child's play to him. He closed the distance between them, exchanged a few blows before
"Wait. Wait wait." Said his opponent before dropping his sword. "I don't want to fight anymore. Please spare me. Please." He was on his knees in a praying posture with his hands joined.
Momonga exhaled deeply.
"Alright. I won't kill you. But you can't be free either. So submit or die."
"Huh!" at his hesitation, Momonga resumed his fighting stance. "Fine. Fine. I'll serve you."
"Now then. What should I do with you?"
Ariel arrived to the location of the explosion in time to see 3 dragons lying dead. They were certainly targeted by the spell. So it really was a Super-Tier spell. Meaning: Players.
They had killed 3 dragons slightly huger in size than Osiliad. They certainly were long lived dragons. 3 dragons that seemed less powerful remained. Their opponents were two humans. One male that seemed to be a close quarter fighter and one female that looked like a magic caster.
Ariel landed between the two. Then turned to address the dragons behind her. She had already chosen her side.
"Leave this place and flee for your life. I'll slow them down."
The dragon's seemed unable to make out what she said before their expression turned to surprise and disbelief. Nonetheless they started retreating. The warrior tried to reach them but she intercepted him with her lance. After the first blow, the warrior was pushed back. When he regained his stance, he seemed to understand that they wouldn't be able to pursue the dragons with her around.
"Why don't you just mind your business huh? We have nothing against you and no reason to fight you. Just leave us be and we'll let you go too."
"I can't stand by idly while you are doing this" she pointed at the dead dragons. "What did they do to deserve death?"
"They stood in our way. That's why. The former rulers of this world have to perish for us to rise in their place. So you better move out of our way too." It wasn't the warrior but the female caster in the back who replied to her. The warrior turned to look at her with a look of panic and shock on his face. It seemed like he hadn't anticipated she would reply this way. The warrior had sensed that he was no match for Ariel and certainly wanted to talk his way out of this. Ariel for her part wouldn't pursue them but she would kill them if they tried to fight or if they targeted others for trivial reasons like that.
As an angel and a holy knight, she had a strong sense of justice and was against slaughtering the weak for no good reason. Her father was strong, he used to be human but even after becoming undead, he bore no hatred for the living nor did he try to conquer the world through violence or hunted those weaker than him for sport. On the contrary, he protected all races by creating a sanctuary for them and ruled peacefully over those who accepted his reign. Since the erection of the Great Wall, Arcadia had not expanded its territory. Those who wished to migrate there were welcomed but her father never sought more conquest.
That was why she could not tolerate beings that were transported from Yggdrasil like her father, who, rather than set to live peacefully, brought destruction to the world. Her father had told her that his original world was all but destroyed by the hands of its human inhabitants. Her father found this unpolluted new world to be a paradise. Those players in front of her should have felt the same but they were devastating it, killing its inhabitants.
"Guess it was no use even asking. My bad." She said before readying her lance to attack.
She exchanged a few blows with the warrior. His weapon was better than hers, but the sheer strength behind each thrust of her lance more than made up for the difference in performance. She held the advantage. While fighting the warrior, she had to dodge or tank the caster spells. But she had an ace up her sleeve.
Her father was capable of using Silent Cast. It activated the spell effects without one having to voice it. But it consumed a little more mana to use. Ariel used that to retaliate against the caster while fighting the warrior.
"Teleport us ASAP I won't last longer." Shouted the warrior.
Oh! Wanna run away already. I don't mind but
She kept the pressure on the warrior. Eventually, he jumped back, near the caster and they teleported. She didn't feel disappointed as she knew that they wouldn't go far. She turned around and spoke seemingly to empty space.
"What do you plan to do with them father?"
Her father revealed his presence. She had sensed someone teleport behind her and then turn invisible. But she knew it was him. She could see past the invisibility spell without trouble. That was why she let them escape. If her father wanted them to stay or wanted to prevent their escape he would have taken measures but he did nothing. Meaning he had other projects.
"I see this as an occasion to do something unprecedented."
"Oh! What might that be?" her father's tone of voice made her expect something incredible.
"Conquering a Guild Base."
"Wow! For real!"
