Bucky's POV
"Bad idea bad idea!" I said as Steve was trying to enlist for the fourth time. "It'll be fine,Buck." He said as he walked in. "Get down." He whispered as he pushed me deeper in his shirt pocket. "Hey!" I whisper yelled angrily, Steve ignored me as he took off his shirt and hung it up in a locker so no one would steal it. "I'll be right back, I promise." He said as he closed the locker.
I huffed and waited, after about ten minutes he came back. "So how'd it go?" I asked, he shook his head at me in annoyance. "Let's go see that movie, ok?" He asked as he placed a folded paper into his other shirt pocket with a frown on his face. We walked a few blocks away to the theater where Steve bought a ticket to a cartoon he had wanted to see.
When we got in they started playing a short video of supporting the war effort , one man started yelling about it being annoying and how they needed to start the movie. "You wanna shut up?" Steve asked him angrily, the man glared at him. I gulped and turned my eyes back onto the screen.
After the movie, the man grabbed Steve and dragged him into a back ally. He forced Steve to face him and punched him square in the jaw, Steve got up from the ground and tried to punch him back but the guy just punched him in the face again. Steve grabbed a trash can lid and tried to shield himself with it, the guy just wrenched it out of his hand and punched him away. Steve got up again. "You really don't know when to give up, do you?" Asked the man, Steve shook his head.
"I can do this all day." He said calmly as he dodged another punch, suddenly another man came up and grabbed the man who was punching Steve and dragged him away. Steve took me out of the pocket as soon as they were gone. "You alright?" He asked worried.
"No," I said. "But I want you to take me somewhere in exchange for getting into that." Steve laughed. "I had him on the ropes." "Sure," I said teasingly, Steve smiled. "Where are we going?" "The future." I said as I pulled a newspaper clip from the pocket I had been in. "Ok," said Steve. "Let's go!"
