several years later*

Bucky's POV

As HYDRA dropped me off at the place I was to ambush my mission they injected the growth serum. "You have ten minutes, soldier." Said my handler. "Do not fail." As I grew I nodded, failing equaled punishment, something that must be avoided.

I jumped out of my van and landed on the car roof, pulled Sitwell out through the window and threw him into the oncoming traffic, killing him. 'One down." I thought as I attempted to shoot the others. I shot about three times before someone pulled the break handle making me drop down onto the street, as another car smashed into the trio's car and pushed them towards me. I jumped back onto their car, smashed through the windscreen and pulled out the steering wheel.

"Shit!" I heard the driver say as a woman with red hair started shooting at me. But I quickly jumped onto the vehicle behind them. The blonde man broke open the door, holding onto The woman and driver, they slid on the car door through the streets. I was soon joined by HYDRA agents and they started shooting at them, the trio scatter and run off in different directions with me shooting at The woman but she managed to shoot me in my eye goggle mask and run off.

"She's mine.Find him." I said in Russian to the agent next to me. I jumped down from the bridge and landed on the roof of a car, crushing it as I pursued the woman. I thought that I had found Her hiding behind a car as I could hear her voice."I make an LZ, twenty-three hundred block of Virginia Avenue. Rendezvous two minutes. Taking fire above and below expressway. Civilians threatened. Repeat, civilians threatened." I rolled a bomb towards where I thought she was hiding. "I make an LZ, twenty-three hundred block at Virginia Avenue. Rendezvous two minutes." As the bomb exploded I realized she wasn't there She jumped onto my back and tried to strangle me but threw her off, she started running off as I went after her.

"Get out of the way! Stay out of the way!" She yelled before I shot her in the shoulder, she fell and looked around her, as I jumped on the car behind her to shoot her The blonde man jumped in and attacked me. We fought and in the process I grabbed his shield and threw it at him but He managed to avoid being hit, after battling it out with first my knife, then my fists, I started shrinking a few more minutes and I was completely back to normal. 'I took too long,' I thought in fear. 'Hydra is going to punish me... if my mission doesn't kill me first.' Then my mission picked me up, in a grip that wasn't bone-crushing, but definitely secure. He took my mask off, and he gasped in surprise.

"Bucky?" He asked breathlessly "Who the hell is Bucky?" I asked as I tried to wiggle out of his hand. He appeared not to hear me as he opened the front pocket of his jacket and slipped me into it, zipping me into it seconds afterwards. I felt the pocket shift as he ran from the agents. After a while I heard his companions joining him and them getting into another car, without agents. 'Why aren't the doing anything?' I thought. 'Why can't they just kill me and be done with it?' In my tiny state punching him would at most leave a bruise.

And probably make him and angry. But I started punching him anyway. "L-let me out!" I shrieked, hating how pathetic I sounded. "Please! Let me go!" I begged in desperation as I punched both human and pocket. I felt his hand push me down. "It's okay Bucky, calm down." I started hyperventilating and felt dizzy, soon after I passed out.

Steve's POV

I felt my friend stop moving and hoped they were alright. "So what are you going to do?" Asked Natasha, unaware that I had the Winter Soldier in my pocket. "You'll find out later." I said as we stopped at my house. I got out and walked into the house, I found a large storage box that was about a foot wide, three feet long, and two feet high. Big enough for Bucky to wander around in, and tall enough he couldn't get out.

I placed a blanket on the bottom of the box to be sure he would be comfortable and a tiny pillow I had made for a bed. I cut a section of an old blanket for Bucky. Then I reached in and lifted him out, he was passed out. I set him gently on the bed and covered him with the blanket I made for him. I would check on him in a few minutes, but first I had to make so calls.
