Author's Note: Even though I didn't write this poem I thought it would be fun to share. :) Also if you understand the meaning to this poem you'll realize it's not a love poem, there's not much emotion to it but just think about it. And if you flame this or say I copied it then you didn't read the Author's Note like good little boys and girls so yeah. Once again "Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost.

Oh yeah umm this is a drabble thing too i guess it takes place during the Library episode.

Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN THIS POEM! I don't own Avatar or Robert Frost's poem, "Fire and Ice."But I do own the drabble before the poem.

Fire and Ice

By Robert Frost

(not me)

"How to ride a Hogmonkey, The Secret to Hunting, Sea Prun-ARGH," He said."There is nothing here to use on the Fire Nation! Huh?" Out of the corner of his eye he saw a Book or some sort of diary with a fire and water symbol. Whats this, could this actually be some info on the Fire Nation? If so then why is there a Water symbol on it? Maybe it was the info he was hoping for.Just as he was about to open the book...

"Hey Sokka, whats that?" Asked Katara "AAAAHHHHHH! KATARA! DON'T DO THAT!" Screamed Sokka.

"Sorry, so anyways what is that?" She asked. "I don't know but I'm gonna find out." He replied.

"Hey look! The title is Fire and Ice," Said Katara."I wonder what it says."

Well if you would stop talking maybe we could read it. Sheesh. Hmmm...this doesn't look like something about the Fire Nation. It looked like some poem or a diary entree.

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I've tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To know that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice.

That wasn't what he wanted but still, there was a meaning to the poem. But it's something he couldn't quite grasp it confused him. But somehow he had a feeling that it related to the war. He wasn't sure but just incase he was going to bring the Diary with him.

He would find out what it meant he knew that much.

Author's Note: what can I say I was bored :P
