Finally… A year after Casita had fallen. It was finished.

Well, almost a year. 357 days to be exact. They had missed the date by a week, which they could tell because Antonio turned six in a week.

The child was delighted though that he could celebrate in their new home…. Old home?

There it was. All of their hard work. All the days spent working together as a family. And finally, they could move back in.

Only one thing lacked. A doorknob.

The entire family smiled amused as they looked at each other and Mirabel looked confused.

"It seems to me," Bruno smirked. "That that door lacks a doorknob."

Mirabel's eyes widened as Antonio stepped forward, holding the golden doorknob. "We made it for you." he informed giving it to Mirabel.

Mirabel gasped as she looked at it, then she looked up at the family.

They all gathered standing between Mirabel and the door. Smiling at her.

"Mirabel." Julieta smiled. "You… You brought us all together again. Do you know how amazing that is?"

Isabela nodded as well as she held Luisa's arm and Luisa quivered yet again.

"Thank you," Pepa whispered. "We're so sorry if we ever made you feel like you didn't belong."

Bruno smirked. "You're the real miracle kid," he stated and they parted ways to allow Mirabel passage to the door and her eyes watered.

Just as Antonio grabbed her arm to support her… Much like she had held his hand at his door ceremony.

Alma was standing at the door. Smiling warmly as Mirabel slowly walked towards it and Alma stepped aside.

"Let us in Mirabel," Alma asked kindly. "You're the reason this day could ever come." and then she stepped back too.

Mirabel turned her head to take another look at her family standing behind her and they were all together.

Felix with his arms around Pepa. Camilo now holding Antonio.

Dolores was beaming standing right behind them while Isabela was holding Luisa's hand.

Julieta had her hand lightly on Bruno's shoulder and Agustin's arm had snuck itself around his wife's waist as they all looked at Mirabel with warm smiles on their faces.

And then Mirabel turned to the door… their new front door and she smiled as she lifted the knob, and put it in its right place.

The Knob fell into place in a little click and then suddenly…

Mirabel's eyes widened as she felt a warmth. Coming from her own body and settled in the handle, and then the handle glowed in a warm golden light and the glow spread all over the door.

Creating a new family portrait of the entire family. All smiling. And then the magic continued spreading, enveloping the whole building in a warm glow and Mirabel stepped backward in shock.

And then… The window seemed to be waving at them.

Mirabel couldn't help but smile as she lifted a hand. Waving back. "Hola Casita," she whispered.

The next moment the entire house started to click and drum filled with energy, making its own music and all the tiles just moved to push Mirabel inside while she screamed in surprise and delight as she was deposited into the entrance. "COME ON GUYS!" she yelled at her family.

Only for them to get the exact same treatment being brought inside by the house itself, followed by townspeople who had witnessed from behind and suddenly there was big laughter and cheer as the house moved and the music played.

Bruno smiled as he looked around at all of the tiles. The truth was that Casita wasn't just a house or a home. Casita was also a family member. So they were all relieved to see that Casita wasn't actually dead.

Just then Antonio came riding past on a large Jaguar. "TIO!" he laughed happily. "They came back! You were right! The animals all came back!" he laughed.

And Bruno laughed as Isabela stamped on the ground making multiple plants grow and Luisa easily picked up a heavy potted plant.

Felix laughed as he pulled Pepa into a dance and Pepa laughed as well as she let hail fall down inside the house but no one minded they were all laughing at it.

Bruno smiled warmly as he watched his happy family embracing their gifts returning. Then though Bruno halted… And slowly he lifted a hand to lightly touch the corner of his right eye.

"Tio Bruno." Mirabel stepped towards him. "Are you okay?" she asked concerned.

"Yeah… I…" Bruno straightened himself up. "Ahem."

"You know it's okay if you're not right?" Mirabel asked. "None of us really counted on the magic coming back," she said.

Bruno exhaled as he looked at Mirabel. "You know… I'm okay," he said. "I kind of thought that if the magic returned I wouldn't be. And maybe it'll hit me tomorrow but… I'm actually okay right now." he said. "I don't… Feel alone. You know?" he asked.

Mirabel smiled warmly. "I know," she said.

"Good." Now Alma was next to Mirabel. "No more carrying that burden alone Brunito." she lectured. "And no visions if you don't want to. It's all up to you."

Bruno smiled at the two, honestly touched as suddenly the floor tiles moved again suddenly pushing the entire family towards the wall where a camera was put in front of them to take a photo.

Alma smiled. "Together! Everyone!" she beamed.

And the entire family began. "La Familia Madri-"

They didn't get the last part in as the floor just moved, pushing all of them even more together just in time for the photo to be taken. One second before most people fell down in screams and laughter.

Bruno being in the middle was in quite the position with both Mirabel, Camilo, and Felix landing on top of him.

The only reason Alma hadn't fallen down was that Luisa had managed to grab her and keep her standing up. Agustin however had fallen flat on his face.

And Isabela had only barely managed to catch Antonio before he fell off his jaguar.

For a moment Bruno was just laying there with wide-open eyes and then Mirabel started to laugh. And then they all laughed.

"LET'S DO THAT AGAIN!" Antonio shouted and they all just burst out laughing even more. The party had just gotten started.

There were drinks and there was dance.

Finally, the town got to see some of Bruno's dance moves as he first swung Pepa around before handing her back to her husband. But then actually also went for Mirabel, then Dolores, and Luisa.

Camilo turned himself into Bruno with a pulled up hood. "I am Hernando and I fear nothing!" he shouted.

"No, I am Hernando!" Bruno shouted pulling up his hood too.

"Oh no!" Antonio gasped. "Who's the real one?!"

"Clearly it's me. Because I am afraid of nothing." Bruno stated.

"No, it's me!" Camilo in Bruno's form shouted. "For I am afraid of nothing!"

"How are we going to figure this one out huh?" Bruno asked raising his arms and the two now faced each other. Mirroring each other's movements and people snorted and laughed.

"TONITO!" Bruno shouted. "I need your help! You must ask me something only the real Hernando would know! Then I'll prove to you I'm the real one!"

"That is going to backfire! Cause I'm the real one!" Camilo exclaimed and Antonio was wide-eyed looking at the two. He didn't actually know which was which anymore and he gasped.

It turned into an honestly hilarious game as Antonio and then others would ask questions and both Camilo and Bruno would come up with ridiculous stories to try and justify them being the real Hernando and it made people just scream with laughter.

Finally, the two Bruno's was standing next to each other.

"Okay then!" One said. "Seriously. Who can tell who's the real Hernando?" he asked.

And people started to speculate and point. They actually didn't know anymore. Who the real Bruno was. Then finally Mirabel stepped forward.

"YOU!" She pointed at the one on the left. "You're the real Bruno thus Hernando!" she exclaimed.

"Oh?" That Bruno asked. "And what make you say that?"

"You got a rat sticking out of your pocket," Mirabel stated as true enough there was a rat innocently looking out.

That Bruno smirked and then he laughed as he held up his hands. "WRONG!" and in a pop, he turned back into Camilo. "In your face Mirabel! I got my impression down perfectly this time! Nice touch putting a rat in my pocket!" he grinned at Bruno.

"Anything for the performance." Bruno grinned back and the two made a high five.

"Aaah you got me!" Mirabel laughed loudly.

Just then Bruno looked up as his eyes flashed green… They flashed twice. And suddenly Bruno turned around just as a woman carrying around with a big tray of glass with fruit juice screamed just as she was about to fall down.

Quick as lightning Bruno jumped behind her. Grabbed the woman with one hand and then grabbed the tray with the other and then he just stood there. Gasping for air.

There was stunned silence.

"Woah." Felix gasped. "Smooth moves bro!"

"That… Was… Awesome!" Camilo gasped.

"Are you… Okay?" Bruno asked the woman still held up just by his arm and she wide-eyed looked up at him.

Nodding startled and then… A small blush crept over her face as Bruno helped the young woman up on her legs, after having handed the tray over, and excused himself as he moved to a corner and took a deep breath. Knocking at the wall.

He didn't get long before he was surrounded by family members.

"What was that?" Camilo asked. "How did you..."

Bruno gasped for breath as he grabbed the area over his chest.

"Tio?" Mirabel asked. "Do you need a moment?"

Bruno took another deep breath to center himself and finally exhaled. then glanced up.

"Erhm Mirabel. You remember how you suggested I should just try and... Stay in the vision?" Bruno asked.

Mirabel nodded.

"So I did that," Bruno said. "And… First I saw the original event. She was going to fall down and spill the fruit juice everywhere." he said. "Then instead of snapping out of it when I usually would have. I let it go on and it… Came again. But different… In the new version, I caught her. And then I just did what the vision told me to do."

There was silence. Stunned silence.

"Wooooooow!" Camilo gaped.

"So you could choose." Mirabel gaped. "You could choose if you wanted to catch her or not?"

Bruno nodded slowly. "Kind of strange. It feels like… The magic is a lot stronger now than it was before. Things were clearer too."

And Mirabel screamed as she threw herself at Bruno and embraced him. "I'm so happy for you!" she beamed happily and Bruno smiled, then hugged her back.

"Thank you," Bruno whispered. "I would have been okay without it too," he assured and Mirabel nodded as she grinned.

Finally, the party started to wind down. Everyone was very happy but tired and the family was eager to take in their new rooms. They headed up the stairs and grabbed their doors to have an image forming and as they headed inside there were shouts of delight from the inside.

Soon enough all doors had gotten new glowing images… Only one remained.

Bruno swallowed as he looked up at the door. Already now there was a huge improvement, no longer tugged away in a corner hidden by a hallway his door was in the center of the others on the second floor.

Julieta's next to his on the right and Pepa's on the left. And then it followed along with their children on each side.

It was on purpose. It was what they had planned when building the house before they knew the magic was going to return. Still… Bruno felt nervous as he slowly walked up the stairs and then finally faced his formless door. Swallowing.

"Nervous?"

Bruno turned, not at all surprised to see Mirabel there. "Yeah, I suppose I can't deny that," he said. Then he inhaled again.

Only for Mirabel to grab his hand and smile. Bruno smiled at Mirabel as well. Then swallowed as he slowly reached out a hand and finally, touched his own doorknob.

Once again the magic spread and the shapes took form and finally revealed an illustration of Bruno and Bruno exhaled.

He was happy to say that this illustration mostly looked like the one on the front door. Where his image had a content soft smile on his face. Though it still had open eyes.

Then finally Bruno gathered courage. Still holding Mirabel's hand he twisted the doorknob and opened the door to reveal…

For a moment there was silence as Bruno and Mirabel took it in.

"Well… Fancy that huh." Mirabel commented in a light smile.

Bruno blinked. The room looked like… His room behind the walls! But a lot nicer! And bigger!

The back and front walls were both dark comfortable woods. There was his pink chair but looking new and pristine in front of an actual television. Not just cardboard.

At the back wall, there was a bookshelf filled with books and an open fireplace for nice calming evenings where Bruno could just sit with his feet up while watching television next to the fire.

The left and right walls were both stones. The one to the left behind the pink chair had several holes in it and ramps attached to it, already the rats had run towards it and claimed different holes to enter as their new nesting spots.

The floor was dark wood too but covered by a very soft looking green blanket. And in the corner there was another door, this one in dark wood.

"It's so cozy." Mirabel grinned.

Bruno nodded stunned and Mirabel looked up at him.

"Wanna check it out?" Mirabel asked.

Bruno nodded as he let go of Mirabel's hand and finally stepped inside.

The room was really cozy. Homely even. A nice place to just sit back and relax when needed.

Then Brune looked at the red door… Was that… His Vision cave?

Bruno swallowed as he stepped towards the door then halted in front of it. But finally, he inhaled a breath, grabbed for the doorknob, and opened this door only to blink.

A bedroom. A big soft looking bed and lots of blankets to nest up in. A big dresser for clothes, as well as hooks so he could hang up his hammock if he felt like it… Huh. Just an ordinary bedroom.

Wait… So if that was his bedroom. Then where was the vision cave? Bruno frowned as he stepped out and looked around. Then looked at the stony wall that wasn't filled with holes for the rats. This one was just bare.

Bruno frowned as he stepped towards it and looked at that wall.

For a moment Bruno stood still, then he lifted a hand and… snapped a finger. And the wall itself opened up to reveal the Vision cave that looked a lot like the old one.

"Wooow!" Mirabel gasped. "That's really cool."

Bruno blinked as he snapped his finger again and the wall closed. Then he smirked, and he opened it again to close it again. Then he turned to Mirabel.

"HAH!" Bruno laughed. "No one can get in there if I don't want them to! Not even you!" he pointed at Mirabel. "Take that Sobrina!"

"Fair is fair!" Mirabel laughed into her hand. Then she looked around the rest of the room. "This is nice." she complimented. "Kind of smaller than all the other rooms though."

"That's… How I like it." Bruno said. "I need…" he swallowed. "I need a place where I can." he halted. "Hide… Just sometimes."

Mirabel nodded. "Casita understands. That's why you got this," she said. "Can I come to visit though?" she asked. "That looks like the best place to watch television." she pointed at the spot next to the fireplace.

Bruno smirked amused. "Sure," he said. "Any time you want."

Mirabel smiled amused. "You're really going to be okay?" she asked.

Bruno nodded. "Yeah," he said. "I really think I am,"

Mirabel beamed happily and then jumped forward as she hugged Bruno tight and Bruno hugged her back.

"Thank you," Bruno whispered. "You brought me home… Thank you."

"No." Mirabel shook her head. "Thank you. You really looked after me." and then slowly, the two parted looking at each other.

Mirabel smiled. "See you at breakfast tomorrow."

"Yeah." Bruno laughed.

"And then we gotta plan Tonitos birthday!" Mirabel grinned and Bruno smiled.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world," Bruno replied sincerely and Mirabel grinned as finally she left and Bruno was in his room. Glancing around at the warm walls, the bookshelf.

His rats all scampering around and for the first time… For the first time for as long as Bruno could remember.

He had a feeling that everything was going to be just okay.

Things would get bumpy. Not everything would be perfect. Eventually he was probably going to realize his gift was back and have a panic attack. But his family would be there to support him and help him through it.

And he would be okay. They would be okay.

He was home.

The end.
