A/N: Hi everyone! Here's the seventh chapter of Fell For Those Emerald Eyes. There's finally some actual stuff happening, so I hope you guys enjoy it! The next trial will probably involve Sirius and planning for his court trial, as well as some wholesome Sirius-Harry interaction. Please R/R, and thanks for everyone who showed support to this fanfiction!

Bernardus: Thank you so much!

Pteaset: Thank you! I'm glad that you're enjoying it.

Irianna Marie: Wow thank you so much! I'm so happy to see you here again.

audreykitty91: Yesss I'll try to continuously update it now! And I also like it when the Dursleys are nice, even though it's really OOC of them.

Nanettez: Yes, I'm thinking of some Peter bashing because he's the bad guy here. Also, I wrote the Dumbledore bashing thing a year ago lol so I'm not thinking of hating on him anymore.

James Birdsong: Thank you!

"Vernon!" Petunia Dursley cried as she bustled around the hotel rooms. "Where's my handbag?- Oh, there it is! Nevermind dear, I found it… where's my necklace?"

Severus Snape trudged into the room, summoning Petunia's pearl necklace. "It's really not that big of a deal!" he complained loudly, picking at a spot on the brand new robes that Petunia had bought for him. "It's just tea at the Weasleys…"

Petunia shot a murderous glare at Severus that reminded him of her late younger sister as she donned the necklace. "I'm trying to make a good first impression!" Her voice softened as she turned to her husband. "Are the kids ready?"

Vernon nodded. Both Harry and Dudley were giggling in his arms, ready to go.

"Good," Petunia smiled, satisfied. "Now, Severus… I suppose we're travelling by Apparition?"

"That's right," Severus scowled. "Take my arms, both of you."

Petunia and Vernon obediently held his arms, Petunia's holding hers with a vice-like grip as Severus spun on the spot.

A strange new scene greeted them when the suffocating sensation of Apparition vanished. As they dusted themselves off, Petunia's curious eyes roved around the scenery. The house looked as if it had once been a huge stone pigpen, but extra rooms had been added to the point where it was several stories high and so crooked it looked as though it were solely held upright by magic. Four or five chimneys protruded from the red roof. A lopsided sign in the ground near the door read, THE BURROW. Around the front door lay an assortment of rubber boots and an incredibly rusty cauldron. Several plump brown chickens waddled around the yard.

Petunia cautiously knocked on the door, still amazed by the strange Wizarding house. A short, plump woman with flaming red hair and a kind face opened the door.

"Oh, Mrs. and Mr. Dursley! Severus!" Molly Weasley greeted them. "And that must be Harry and Dudley! Do come on in, you can just leave your shoes outside."

Her husband, Arthur Weasley, was sitting at the table as he read the newspaper.

"Hello!" Arthur set down the newspaper to shake hands with the three. "What a pleasure having you all here!" His eyes widened as he turned to the Dursleys. "And you two must be nonmagical! I've been wondering how mikrockwaves work, you see, so I don't suppose you two could-"

"Arthur!" Molly's disapproving voice cut across him. "Not now."

With a much kinder tone, Molly turned to her guests and motioned for them to sit down. With a wave of her wand, a teapot and several teacups and saucers made of china floated to the table and arranged themselves neatly. With another flick, the teapot floated up and poured steaming green tea into each teacup as a platter of cookies floated onto the table. Severus and Arthur were undisturbed by the feats of magic, while Petunia's eyes widened and Vernon let out a slight gasp.

"My deepest condolences on the Potters' deaths," Molly bowed her head and spoke after everyone took a sip of their tea. "Arthur and I- well, we'd love to help you in any way possible, so…"

"Thank you," Petunia nodded as she struggled to hold in the tears that were forming in her eyes, Lily's death fresh and painful in her mind. "Well," she said after a moment of composing herself, "We're trying to realize who exactly is the Secret Keeper for my sister and her family. Severus said that they used a… Fi-Fidelius charm? to keep them safe."

"Yes, they did," Arthur spoke, a confused expression. "But everyone knows it's Sirius Black!"

"I can't believe that he betrayed us all- he seemed like such a nice boy!" Molly added, anger flashing in her eyes.

"We think that the Potters might have secretly changed their decision," Severus responded coolly, "and that's why we're investigating Peter Pettigrew."

"It isn't possible," Arthur shook his head firmly and gestured to his newspaper. There was a large, moving, black-and-white photo of an enormous explosion on a street on the front page. "Everyone knows that Sirius Black killed thirteen muggles and poor Peter. They only found his index finger."

"He could have faked his death, couldn't he?" Vernon argued. "From what I know, it'd be easy to pretend that he died and put the blame on old Sirius Black. It's a perfect cover, since no one will suspect him."

Petunia nodded. "Vernon's right. We've been searching in his vault at Gringotts, but we haven't found anything."

"I'm afraid we don't have anything to give you that might prove to be of any use, but let us know if something comes up," Molly said apologetically as Arthur nodded in assent.

Petunia thanked them and took a cookie from the platter before switching to a lighter topic. "Do you have any children around Harry and Dudley's age? I think it'd be nice for them to socialize with some other magical kids and make some friends."

"Oh, yes, we do, actually!" Arthur smiled, obviously delighted. "Our eldest son, Bill, is ten years old. Then we have Charlie, who's eight, and Percy, who's four. We've also got two twins- Fred and George, both of them are two. Our youngest son, Ronald, is eight months old, so he's slightly older than Harry. We have quite a large family, and we're still trying for a girl."

"I'll go get the children down," Molly supplied, and headed upstairs to retrieve her children.

Moments later, she came down the stairs with her sons. Ron, the youngest, was playing with a small stuffed animal in her arms, while Fred and George were poking each other with toy wands that emitted harmless sparks. Percy, who looked quite serious, was holding something in his hands.

"Charlie and Bill are doing some homeschool homework," Molly explained as the children introduced themselves to Petunia, Vernon, and Severus.

Ronald curiously crawled over to Harry and Dudley and clapped his hands happily. Harry giggled and bounced up and down, while Dudley sat down and examined Ronald.

"Percy, what're you holding in your hands?" Arthur asked.

"Scabbers," Percy replied, and spread out his palms to show a sleeping fat rat.

"Oh- we found Scabbers a couple of days ago while we were de-gnoming our garden. Percy wanted a pet, so we gave it to him," Molly explained.

A look of understanding dawned on Petunia's horsey face.

"Just a second, Molly," Petunia spoke sharply and rapidly. "Please show me the rat."

Scabbers blearily opened his eyes and jumped in fright.

"It looks an awful lot to me like that picture of Pettigrew we saw," Petunia whispered to Severus over the terrified squeaks of Scabbers.

Molly picked up the squirming Scabbers and handed it over to Petunia, puzzled. "Goodness gracious, he's quite frightened… I don't know what's up with him."

"Brilliant…" Severus breathed over the din of noises, then raised his voice. "Stupefy!"

The jet of red light hit Scabbers straight in the face as roars of rage erupted from the Weasleys.

"I really don't understand!" Arthur shouted. "Severus- Petunia- what's going on?"

"Hush, Arthur!" Severus hissed.

With a jab of his wand, a blinding blue light manifested and rushed towards the unconscious rat. The prone form of Scabbers morphed into a short, rat-like man with grubby skin, small, watery eyes, and a pointed nose. Peter Pettigrew, member of the Order of the Phoenix and betrayer of his friends, lay alive on the Weasley kitchen floor.
