How to raise a baby dragon.
Chapter 1
'The strikes are becoming stronger…'
BASH
CRASH!
They were becoming harder to read.
BASH
BASH
BASH!
He was thrown back yet kept on his feet. Sukuna wasn't expecting this to say the least. In a short time, he went from kicking this boy's ass, to now being defensive of his strikes. He couldn't explain how it all happened, after all, every day the boy came to him wanting to spar. Yet each time he was beaten stupid, he merely nodded and walked away, not to be seen until what he could only assume be the next day.
He couldn't understand how the boy grew in strength in such a short period of time, but he has. So much so he had to say something about it. "So… it IS possible for you to grow stronger… didn't think you had it in you"
The boy was silent as he refused to speak, but he kept his fighting stance up. Sukuna was mockingly doing the same until the brat vanished! "What!?" he muttered.
OOOF!
He was blindsided, stuck in his jaw and was thrown back, yet still he hasn't hit the ground yet.
Sukuna was getting pissed off!
"That's IT!" he shouted. In his rage, he summoned his full strength, he found the boy instantly and beat him to a bloody pulp! Yet even that was unsatisfying to him, the kid wasn't bleeding as much, his wounds nearly healed instantly as he picked himself off the ground, lowered his head and said. "Thank you for the lesson," and wondered off.
It was starting to bother him now more than ever, so much so, Sukuna decided to follow him that day, yet tried to keep out of sight. Itadori didn't venture too far from where they sparred. In fact, Sukuna was down right pissed to find out that the boy has been using his hot spring!
"The nerve of that brat!" he muttered.
However the boy did have proper cleaning edict and washed up before entering the spring, as he did, there was something off about it. Sukuna felt this boy's curse energy surge to new heights! He had been careful when sparring with him to ensure that he doesn't learn his leech technique. The very method used to defeat him last time won't be used to do so again!
Yet as he continued to watch, Itadori was merely meditating in the hot spring. "Is this his own curse energy?" Sukuna whispered to himself.
"Are you going to watch or did you want in?"
He froze, the brat sensed him!?
This was HIS domain; he could walk about without the boy noticing his presence at all! "Impossible…" he muttered.
Yet he was already hanging off the edge of the hot spring with a smirk. "You can come in if you want, there's more than enough room."
"I'll enter when I want to, I don't want you in here at all anyways!"
"But you said this was OUR domain… not to mention you are part of me. So why would a part of me not want the other part to be content?" he asked.
Sukuna froze once more, almost bewildered to what he heard. The brat was starting to talk like him, and using his gift of gab in a sense to sway the situation to his favor. Not to mention, if Sukuna didn't cooperate, the brat will know something's afoot… or does he already know?
He did get him on this, if he wants the brat to believe they are one in the same, he has to let it slide for now.
Forcing a smile, Sukuna nodded. "Of course, how foolish of me," he said offhandedly. "Please, take your time."
Itadori grinned, in fact it was a down right sinister one.
Perhaps this plan could still work after all. The boy was starting to think, talk and act a lot more like Sukuna than he realized. It will make convincing him all the more easier!

In the divine side.
He froze at the sight of it.
The fox had led Yuuji though the thickest part of the forest to a great being he had never laid eyes on before. Yet as he stared upon it, Kitsune, the fox spirit explained. "Young master, this is Ryujin, a fellow dragon to you." She explained.
He froze to her words as he looked himself over, he pointed to the massive creature before him to Kitsune, who merely giggled. "Yes, you're kin," she said gently.
He shook his head in disbelief. There was no way he was related to a being this great and powerful.
They look NOTHING alike!
Ryujin lowered its head and took a good look at him, his nostril opened as it took in his scent. A low, resonating growl came out of it, but then, the dragon appeared to have smiled. "I've been waiting for you, young one."
Yuuji kept looking to Kitsune with concern. "Not… like… him" he said through broken words.
"Oh? Is your speech not developed yet?" the dragon asked.
"Not… dragon…" Yuuji insisted. His arms curled in nervously as he stared at the great being before him. "Not… strong…"
"Young master, any and all of the divine know who you are, we all call you such a great being. You are a dragon… just different." She said gently.
But his head continued to shake in disbelief. "Not… dragon…"
"Not yet," came the voice of Ryujin.
Yuuji peered up at him as the creature bore a rather proud look. "But it is good to hear you say such words. Others who have been treated as such, would believe instantly they deserve to stand as my equal. It pleases me to see you have not been swayed by the actions of those around you."
He couldn't help but feel proud being told such a thing, but that only made a greater problem in his head. Even the dragon said he wasn't one… yet. But what does one go through to obtain such a status? "Scared… scared…" Yuuji uttered, he couldn't bring about complete his sentence.
Ryujin nodded. "That's okay too, this is a lot for someone as young as you to be taking in. But you are in good hands, understand?"
Yuuji nodded his head. "What… now?"
The dragon snickered. "We train you on your power, then we see how well you know the world around you. Lastly… well… that will all depend on the other half."
"Other… half?"
"For now, focus on your own training and growth. I am expecting great things from you, Yuuji"
