Chapter 18
Todo stepped out of the room and into an empty one, looking down at his phone he was confused. "Suiryu was calling me?" he muttered. His phone kept ringing so he decided to humor him. "Hello?"
"Hey bro, favor to ask of you, mind filling in for me for this music video? I know you dance to this shit, so it's better you than me."
"Why didn't you just ask me there?!" Todo demanded.
"Really? You're already here?"
"… I came with you…"
Todo began to feel odd, the more he talked to Suiryu over the phone, the stranger he felt. "So I'll see you in five minutes?"
His eyes rolled back as he passed out…
#
"Who did you call?" Takada asked.
Suiryu smiled to her. "I don't like a lot of people knowing this but… I got a twin,"
She froze to the news. "You're a twin?! Is he just as good looking?"
"We'll find out," he replied.
No more than five minutes would pass when he came into the room, Suiryu turned and saw a rather bewildered looking Yuuji! "Ah, good there he is… BRO!" he called.
This Itadori though, was wearing clothing twice his own size. "Sorry about his look, he likes to wear baggy clothing from time to time. It hides the fact we're twins." Suiryu explained.
'Yuuji' leaned into him and whispered. "What the hell did you do to me?"
Suiryu smirked. "So, Miss Takada, this is my twin bro, Yuuji. He's going to do the pop scene, and trust me, he can pull it off easily!"
She paused and stared at him oddly. "Let's get him into wardrobe, I want to see if he can pull off a pop look!" she stated.
He nodded in agreement, but he firmly grasped his 'brother's' shoulder. "Don't make me look like a compete douche bag, got it!" he whispered into his ear.
Only to get a nod back.
"Miss Takada, perhaps I can help with your metal look?" Eso asked. "If you wish to have my opinion…"
She smiled and nodded full heartedly. Eso escorted her to the wardrobe room. Suiryu turned and saw the manager Mitch staring at Choso.
Choso was quick to return the glare. "Lower your gaze sir, and remember who you stare upon."
"Here, let me take you to a green room. There's a TV and refreshments there for you if you like!" D'angelo called as he led Choso out of the room. Yet there came a glare in the eyes of the older brother as he glared down Mitch while holding baby Yuuji closer to himself.
When they were gone, Suiryu's glare turned to Mitch. "You're not fooling anyone here, your motived are way too obvious. Not to mention intent on taking my brother. So, how about this, don't look his way again… and I won't have to take your eyes out of your skull!" he said in a rather upbeat tone.
Mitch sneered at him. "I've been trying to keep her away from the likes of you… you demon sorcerer!" he said in a seething tone. "I don't know what you are up to… how you are going to do it… let alone why you want the dragon for yourself, but rest assured… we will obtain it, and take him from you!"
Junpei smirked. "You REALLY don't want to go up against big bro…" he said snickering aloud. "Seriously, you piss him off or threaten family… you may as well just cut your own throat."
"He's not wrong," Suiryu said and laughed. "In fact, not even I want to piss him off when it comes to family!"
Mitch was about to speak, until she returned.
The room froze at the sight of Takada in a rather unusual leather outfit. She wore leather pant legs but had slits coming down the side of them. A torn leather top that revealed a little of her cleavage but tastefully, her hair was tied and spiked up like Choso's. She wore dark make up and even went as far as giving herself 'curse marks' on her face. "What do you think?!" she asked.
Suiryu was about to say something until his 'brother' returned.
He froze but the sight disgusted Suiryu.
His hair slicked back, he wore a white jeans, a white sleeveless t-shirt, white running shoes and a white jacket. Everything was white! 'Shit, that is my color isn't it?' Suiryu thought as he stared on at his odd twin. The only pop of color if one could call it that, was the black belt used to keep up his pants. The clothing was loose so he could still move about in it. He smiled to the masses and spun in his new outfit.
"Can I pull it off or what?"
"You look like a pre teen who can't dress himself," Suiryu muttered.
"His look is perfect!" Takada announced. "It's you, but it's pop, he just needs your markings."
Suiryu rolled his eyes. "All right, so should we try and make a song then?"
#
It came together remarkably fast.
They bounced ideas off of each other, but the one piecing everything together was Junpei! He was good at combining ideas as well as making a compromise when needed. But the song was written within 2 hours.
They got the music to it in another 2, and then the chorography was done rather quickly thanks to the fact that 'Yuuji' was already good at dancing to pop music. Takada took a liking the metal dance she will be doing for her part of the video.
"I think we got something, this is going to be amazing!" said D'angelo. "Do we shoot tomorrow?"
"Let's rehearse this for a moment, try it out. You guys up for it?" Suiryu asked.
Everyone appeared to be game for it. For the next five hours they rehearsed the song, the dance and then how the music video would be made. D'angelo was quite good at pointing out flaws and making corrections, but those were few. There was an issue going on between 'Yuuji' and Takada's usual back up dancers. They sneered at him stating. "You better bring you're A game, this is Takada-chan we are representing!" one stated.
He merely smiled back. "Then keep up with me, the last thing I would ever do is sully her name"
Suiryu watched on as Todo, who does make a convincing Yuuji dance in front of the backup dancers. He was making them sweat by the end of it since he wanted perfection! "NO! WRONG, WRONG! YOU, YOU ARE TWO SECOND OFF! YOU, YOUR RHYTHM IS OFF!" he scolded. The room froze as he tore them all a new one. "You want to represent Miss. Takada-chan, then smarten up!"
"Shit…" Suiryu muttered. "I may have just accidentally made a monster here…"
Junpei snickered to it all, Eso as well. "Are we adopting this one?"
"Fuck no!" Suiryu protested but in a low whisper. "He's Yuuji's problem… keep him that way." He won't admit it aloud though, but Todo has impressed him. But there is an issue when he dances. "Hey, Bro," he called. "In that dance sequence, you're supposed to look confused as hell. Like 'Why the hell am I doing this? How am I doing this?' sort of look. Not with that big shit-eating grin on your face."
Todo smirked. "Sorry, I just get excited is all…"
'Shit, he even acts like Yuuji when he apologizes! I ought to be more careful when I transfigure people…'
They watched the dance sequence time and time again until it was perfect. D'angelo himself was taken aback by it all. "Your brother is a natural at being a pop star!" he said to Suiryu.
"Yeah, probably. Let's continue"
It would be the late evening before they decided they would be ready to shoot the video tomorrow.
#
Mitch was going to get what he wanted.
He could face down a single man, after all, he is skilled in battle as well. Yet, there was something about this one named Choso that made him reconsider the notion. Nonetheless, there is a dragon at stake. If he can secure it, life for him will be on easy street!
He will have first priority when it comes to obtaining some of the dragon's power. He has read and heard rumors from other sorcerers that if one tastes dragon blood, their power will grow beyond human limitations. Just a single taste would be all he needs to gain great power and respect!
He was about to head to the green room where the dragon was kept along with his guardian. Just as his hand reached for the door, he heard a familiar voice. "I really wouldn't if I were you…"
He sneered and turned to face D'angelo of all people. "Butt out!" Mitch snapped back. "Besides, why would you care?"
Despite how he appeared, D'angelo wasn't a man who was built for fighting the least bit. And yet, Mitch knew him well. He has put on some muscle mass recently, before, D'angelo was skinny and frail looking. Often he was mistaken as a woman, but now. He has started to gain more masculine features. He wasn't a fighter that was certain. Yet he won't hesitate to stand his ground. "I care, because, behind that door, is someone special to my friend. Suiryu may appear gruff to the likes of you and others, but I have come to see that he isn't someone I would want to make angry or get on his bad side. So, with that being said. I am mainly telling you this to save your life"
Mitch smirked. "Why would you even do that?"
D'angelo shrugged his shoulders. "It's called a green room, not a red room," he simply stated. "As well, the one behind the door, isn't someone I would want to fight."
He said nothing more after that, he turned and walked away, allowing Mitch to do as he pleased.
The devious grin returned to his lips as he reached for the door. His hand grasped the knob as he was about to turn it,
PING
Mitch froze as he heard a sharp sound. Then, his cheek began to bleed!
"What the hell…" peering at the door, he saw something, a hole no bigger than a pin was made! Not only that, but he began to feel sick rather quickly. His body revolted as a woozy feeling came over him. His legs gave out as he collapsed to the ground.
The door opened.
Mitch slowly looked up, but stared into the raging eyes of Choso. "Did I not make myself clear before?" he demanded as he braced the little dragon close to him. "I told you, mind where your gaze falls… it's obvious to me you are after my little brother…"
"That… thing is no brother… it's… a dragon!"
"To you, he is. To me, he's my little brother." Choso said in a rather callous tone. "And you dared to bring harm upon him… It's only fair that harm is brought to you." His look lightened a little. Choso turned to go back into the room but paused. "You are going to want medical attention, or you will be poisoned to death."
